The location of the hotel is very easy to find. After arriving at the TV tower at the bus station, go straight downhill in front of the car. Turn right at the intersection of traffic lights and the red house is there. It is convenient to eat and live on the nearby street. You can cook and store luggage in the hostel. I stayed one night in Hobson Lodge in a female room. As soon as I arrived in the area I wasn't feeling very comfortable however the lady at the reception was very nice and generally the people at the hostel seemed quite chill. The kitchen/common area isn't the biggest or cleanest. The room are okish as long as it is not full otherwise I understand why reviews were mentioning about the lack of air.

My colleague recommended it to me after staying there! This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel of this model. First of all, it's located in the city center and the transportation is very convenient! There's a big supermarket right outside the door! It only takes a few minutes to get to the famous ancient buildings and the Sky Tower, a popular landmark nearby. The most convenient thing is that there is a kitchen on the first floor! You can go to the supermarket and buy the food you want to cook! I would say this is the most satisfying and suitable experience for me to go to Auckland alone! I will stay here again next time I come.

The house has 6 rooms for renting and we had the ensuite one which is about 35 sq. M. Its pretty new and high standard. We can also use the kitchen and other common areas. The whole house is about 300 sq. M. The location is about 25 minutes drive frim CBD. There is no supermarket within walking distance. Also the streets are narrow and has many parked cars because there are many similar share housing. Overall the stay is very enjoyable.

Location is in the city of Parnell, more than half an hour's walk from the CBD. This is the palace of the Queen of Tonga. It is a relatively simple holiday home, 3 floors, wooden structure, high lift, kitchen to cook by yourself, shared bathroom - good hot water, washing machine, garden. There is a supermarket nearby. If you want to cook for yourself, you can go back and buy ingredients. There is also a very lively street nearby, with some cafes, restaurants and small shops. Less than five minutes walk, you can go to the Holy Trinity Church and St. Mary's Church. Overall is good. The service is basically invisible, the store is small, and no service personnel can be seen. Upon arrival, the room was ready and clean. Other self-help is just fine. There is a small heating in the house, very intimate.

It was a very comfortable B&B suite. I arrived that night. It was a surprise the next day when I opened the curtains and saw the yard. The lamb would come over when people came by and even touch its head. Breakfast is available in the refrigerator, and the eggs are all produced by their farm. An electronic brochure is issued before check-in, which contains various useful information. The only problem is that the flat iron roof is a bit noisy when it rains. I had jet lag on the first day, so I didn’t get much sleep. Later I discovered that most B&Bs in this country have iron roofs, so I got used to the jet lag.

It faced the park, so it was quiet and nice. The shared kitchen was spacious and had a microwave, cooking utensils, and tableware. I also felt that the shared bathroom was well-used. It's a little far from the city center, but there's a supermarket nearby and a bus stop nearby, so it wasn't that inconvenient. I'd like to stay here again if I come to Auckland.
