Booked this place on Ctrip yesterday and it was such a pleasant surprise! I didn't expect the host to upgrade us to a proper two-bedroom apartment upon check-in. It's right next to Anzhen Bridge subway station, which is super convenient. I loved the spacious living room with great ventilation, and the bathrooms even had smart toilets. The bedding was fantastic, especially the soft and cozy pillows. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and even some basic seasonings. There's a supermarket in the complex, so we bought groceries in the evening and cooked dinner in the apartment, enjoying a few drinks with the family – it was such a blast! [grin] This is by far the best guesthouse experience I've ever had, definitely recommend it. I'll book this place again next time I'm in Beijing! (^-^)👍

So I chose a hostel relatively close to the Bird's Nest. It's a 15-20 minute walk from the subway station, or a 5-minute bike ride. It's in an older office building with an ICBC sign downstairs. Take the elevator to the fourth floor. The room was small but clean. It had no windows. 🪟 The bed had been changed, apparently promptly. It looked exactly like the promotional photos. Disposable toiletries and slippers were available at the front desk (they were disposable cotton slippers, so be careful when showering). The bathroom wasn't very pleasant. The next morning, when I was washing up, I saw the cleaning lady washing the mop directly in the sink. I was speechless. 🙄
