The sir at the counter was really gentle. Even he can't speak Chinese it's very easy to communicate with translation app and later we added on WeChat for easier communication in case I need anything else. The room was all expected, clean, and comfortable. The most important for us was the bathtub and it was perfect. The windows are soundproof so we didn't have any inconvenience on that, although the windows face the street. Convenient location, clean and comfortable space at a very fair price. Absolutely recommended.

It's worth staying at Dengba Inn Wuning South Road in Shanghai! The second floor is for girls and the third floor is for boys, so you can live comfortably in different areas. The beds in the room are just the right hardness. The rooftop is the highlight, the sunset in the evening is amazing, and you can use it as a wallpaper with just a photo! The guy at the front desk was so helpful, he checked me in super quickly and helped plan the route. The most surprising thing was that he showed off his cooking skills after work, and the dishes were so delicious that everyone in the building came to eat! I even visited Jing'an Temple, which I'd been longing for, but unfortunately, I was so busy burning incense that I forgot to take photos. Wandering around the area, I discovered quite a few small bars of varying styles. They were quite nice.

I was staying in this place just a few days and I’ve enjoyed the design and bathtub right next to the bed, it was cool, actually! The location is also amazing! ❌ You can hear neighbors if they are not very quiet, in my room I had a bathtub, but didn’t have a shower (that wasn’t a problem for me). And the biggest ⛔️ the room is quite moldy, especially behind the curtains. I would recommend for a short trip, to enjoy the bathtub and good location, especially if you are planning to be there only during the night. For longer trips I’m concerned about the mold behind the curtains, specific smell and that neighbors can disturb you. Anyway, good variation for this amount!

Despite being embraced by a natural ecosystem where 'little creatures' might be expected, the guesthouse environment was exceptionally well-maintained. We didn't find a single mosquito or insect in our room, which is truly remarkable for such a natural setting. My child was particularly captivated by the little frogs, who merrily hopped along the path to the pool and around the courtyard. Peering out the window, their eyes sparkled with a pure, unadulterated love for nature. In that moment, I felt like I was looking at my younger self, brimming with a desire to explore the world. On our second day, my brother decided to make pizza in the guesthouse kitchen. What started as a playful experiment turned into an astonishing culinary success! The pizza was incredibly delicious; even my brother, who usually shies away from pizza, couldn't stop at three slices! It wasn't just good because he made it; it was genuinely fantastic. And despite being an amateur effort, it was absolutely authentic. The owner had been burning lychee wood charcoal, specially transported from Guangzhou, since early morning. Paired with the kitchen's homemade tomato and onion sauce, the aroma was simply irresistible, making our mouths water. I am determined to visit this guesthouse in all four seasons to fully appreciate its distinct charm throughout the year. In spring, it might be adorned with wildflowers, the air heavy with the scent of damp earth. Summer would offer lush shade and the soothing symphony of cicadas, an ideal escape from the heat. Autumn would transform the paths into a golden tapestry of fallen leaves, like a scene from a fairytale. And in winter, perhaps blanketed in snow, it would resemble a tranquil ink wash painting. Regardless of the season, this place is destined to be a sanctuary for the soul.
