You might be a little worried if you don't know how to check in until the last minute, and if you don't speak English or Chinese. When I arrived, the owner was very kind and helped me with a lot of things. The kitchen window was wide open, so it was a little cold inside the building, and the bunk beds had no curtains, so there was no private space at all, but aside from that, the environment was very good. There were people always occupying the living room and sofa, which are shared spaces, and I'm not sure if they were tourists or related people, but you might find it a little uncomfortable. There were no particular cleaning rules, which are common in dormitories, and the check-out time was arbitrary, which was nice, so I felt it was a laid-back place that was typical of Chengdu.

The hostel is conveniently located right at the entrance of Xinnanmen Station, Exit D. However, if you're carrying luggage, be aware that there's no escalator going down at this station, only one that goes up. The receptionist at the hotel spoke excellent English and was very friendly. She also gave me a cute panda keychain when I checked out. It was a lovely gesture! The single room I stayed in was spacious, modern, and very clean, providing a comfortable stay. The only downside was that to access the hostel, you need to take an elevator to the 5th floor, and unfortunately, the elevator is a bit shabby and has a musty smell. Despite that, everything else was great, and I highly recommend it, especially for solo female travelers!

A beautiful inn with the best vibes! We didn’t get to use the bbq / fire grill outside but it was pleasantly offered along with snacks. The lobby area has a great space for tea. Overall a great stay but there were a couple cons I just have to mention: compared to other hotel rooms we’ve stayed in around the same price range, their basic rooms are smaller. The breakfast is very simple and not enough. There is an additional charge for coffee, and the staff needs to operate the hot spring bath. I am worried that the guests will not know how to operate it. Please Really, I don't really understand. Why aren't they worried that I can't turn on the faucet or turn on the light? How advanced and complicated is the process of turning on and off a soup pool? There is a family in Jianmenguan that has one room and one bath. It only lasts three to four hundred and one night by operating it by yourself. I went to a B&B in Chongzuo in December. The price is 900+ on weekdays and 1200+ on weekends. Bicycles are free to ride.
