The water pressure in the shower is good.
You can't flush the toilet paper.
The walls of the rooms are thin so you can hear the people next door taking a shower!
This time, the people next door were foreigners and they were making noise until late at night, so it was very noisy.
I think it would be a good room if the people next door were quiet.

We stayed for 3 nights in total and after the first night we requested to change room, the staff said since the rooms were fully booked so that we could not change our room on the second night. We accepted and they change the room for us on the third night, however the shower noise of the room next to us was too loud too. Beside that, the location is good but not great. It located on a slope so that we had to climb up with our luggage, very tired. Their is no bathtub in the bathroom, the shower place is very small. At other hotels I got a plug adapter for free but this hotel required us to buy the adapter for 5k won. The only good poin of this hotel is that the staff were really friendly and can speak English and Japanese. Overall I DO NOT recommend this hostel to anyone.

It is centrally located and very easy to get to from public transport. There are so many great places to visit and eat at within walking distance.
The hostel itself is warm, clean and inviting. There is a nice breakfast and coffee each morning and Tommy and his staff are always willing to give you great recommendations for activities and places to visit.
There is a laundry and other useful things to make your time even more comfortable.
I can't wait to visit again soon.

|1.32km from city centerPrice includes breakfast but there was NO breakfast. NO bottled water in the rooms. NO toothpaste , NO lotion , NO toothbrush. Rules : NO eating in the room(communal kitchen is on 5th floor with no elevator) , NO makeup on towels or bedding or you will be fined. NO food/drinks in the mini fridge. NO shoes in the hotel, take them out and leave them by door. NO chair to sit on on second floor when you are doing this taking off and on of shoes. Bathroom is a shotlet so water kinda gets all over but is big enough. NO body towel, only face towels.
Pro: there was an electric blanket for the cold winter, there was also a heater in the room. Host is nice.

It is more difficult to communicate in Chinese like me. Fortunately, I can understand my meaning by playing him with translation software. The air conditioner in the room is very cold, equipped with shampoo and shower gel. Toothbrush toothpaste is not equipped, the hostel has no elevator, fortunately the allocated room is on the 2nd floor, it is very easy to go upstairs. The overall experience is good, the space for 2 people is quite large, like we are used to washing our own laundry, we can't find a place to dry, the hotel provides laundry and drying service, costing 10,000 won. Facilities: We live in two single beds, and the layout is relatively warm. There is floor heating, but we live in the house closest to the edge, and the wall insulation is not very good. When you lie in the room, you can feel a small breeze blowing in from the window. You won’t feel cold when you sleep, but you will feel a little cold when you open the quilt in the morning.
Environment: It is less than 5 minutes walk from Exit 3 of Myeongdong Subway Station and about 15 minutes walk from Myeongdong Shinsegae Department Store. There are GS25 and 711 around, and a supermarket. There are many small shops across the street, comic street? And so on. After we walked there, we said in unison: ”That's it?” There is also Vietnamese rice noodles (I ate it three times a week 🤣), which tastes good, otherwise I wouldn't eat it three times, and another reason is that there is really nothing to eat.
There is a rooftop on the fifth floor of the main building of the B&B, and you can see a bit of Namsan Tower. Because the houses are densely packed and the 5th floor is not very high, the scenery is average, but sitting here for a while is also very comfortable and relaxing.
Service: The front desk staff is very friendly and speaks good English. Most of the people staying here are foreigners. We hardly saw any Koreans staying here during our stay.
Free breakfast is very convenient. There are coffee, hot water, milk, juice, bread, cereal, and the taste is pretty good.
Overall, I am quite satisfied and plan to come to this hotel again next time.

The room was nicely cleaned and comfortable, but the room we were shown was on the 5th floor and there was no elevator, so it was a bit tight for a couple over 50. Towels can also be changed if you hang the ”towel change plate” on the doorknob.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided. Toothbrushes and soap were also available at the front desk.
There was no refrigerator in the room, but if you put juice between the double-glazed windows it was cold enough (only in winter).
After checking out, I left my glasses behind, and they were kindly and promptly dealt with the situation, and they were delivered to my house right away. Thank you very much!!
I would like to stay here again when I go to Seoul!

Large mezzanine room with queen sized bed, pull out queen bed underneath and 4 single beds above. Right at the steps of Hongik Uni Exit 1. No Netflix, just Korean TV. Lovely electric blanket. Washing machine, heater, fan, fridge and cooking amenities. Keypad entrance so can self check in. The bathroom shower tiling is a little run down, the shower is warm but not hot hot.
I booked last minute as a solo traveller not knowing the city and paid a pretty price for the location, should have researched more and saved some money staying in Sinchon or other surrounding areas. Nothing to do with the accommodation, that was my own error. However, if you want to be right in the heartbeat of Hongdae with multiple guests this is your place. I enjoyed my stay.

If you look at the exterior of the accommodation, the building may be old and scary, but once inside, it's a nice place to sleep.
The unfortunate thing is that there is no separate front desk, so you have to call the owner to check in directly.

Things like water and refrigerators are available for public use, so you have to go out and get them, which is a bit inconvenient, but there are also things like towels there, so you can bring them.

This is probably the most comfortable accommodation in all my travels, even despite the shared bathroom. I would like to come back again and live here longer. I have to say this hostel is great. Value money. The each room is not big and not too small compared to other hostels I ever stay. Air condition is always provide. The light is automatic so even you come back late night and it seems dark suddenly the light will turn on for you. The center space is available all times can sit and eat and play phone even it’s late night. Not too messy all furniture are tidy (if some things messy maybe the stayer bags). The best past is they provide 2 towels for me and have new towels for changing every morning. And they have easy breakfast too. And the sfaff especially the male one is very friendly!! I have wonderful time there while travel alone. If I have more chance to go back to korea I will definitely stay here again. Please keep this good things. Thank you very much for my good experiences.
