Cornelio met us as planned through an online booking. He explained everything and more. Not self contained but we didn't book with that in mind. The area, room and bathroom were spotless. Probably the cleanest lodging we have stayed in since arriving in Europe. My wife suffers from allergies and as she did not complain I can tell you it was virtually dustless. Cornelio was extremely helpful and honest. Advice on how to get around Rome was forthcoming without quibble. Essentially our every need was catered for. Bottled water in bulk for refills was available. What a kind and gracious host. Close to some great eateries including La Famiglia restaurant in the same street. Our experience, albeit for only a few days was most pleasurable. Breakfast was not over the top but plenty for what we needed. Ordered and delivered to our room. Anything we were not sure of and asked about was no problem. Not having a concern about our accommodation was one less thing we had to worry about and Cornelio made it happen. Thank you Freedom Love, you gave us the 'freedom' of not worrying about the accommodation and we 'loved' it. Premises are secure with several key locked doors to get in. Bathroom is spacious and spotless. Three sleeping positions in our room were not cramped and for our purposes large enough. Motel room size but enough room for sleeping and moving around. Coffee and tea facilities included. Aircon. TV. Everything worked.

This hotel is the best of the 4 hotels booked this time in Europe! Clean and hygienic, nice decoration style, new, medium size, the most comfortable one to live in! Convenient transportation, 8 minutes walk from the train station, there is a small supermarket and delicious pizza downstairs! The most important thing is that the room is extremely comfortable! Recommended! The only drawback is that the garbage truck is very loud at 5am, and the bathroom door is rattled.

At first, in the Reception smells very bad, the mirror was broken, So the first impression was not very good, But we hoped that the room will be ok. The building has a hotel or two at every floor But not this was was the problem. We entered the room, the smell was very Bad, the furniture was very old and not in a good condition. We required a double Bed, they gave us a double bed with two single matresses, one being heigher than the other one. They didn t washed the bed sheets before us, we found hair and the smell of the bed sheets was very bad also. The bathroom îs a disaster, the water was under the sink when we got there, the furniture was old and the wc was antique, there was a rope attached to it so you can flush the water. Most important at the bathroom, there was NO HOT WATER!!! After a day of travelling i went to Take a shower and at the half of shower the cold water came. I went down to the reception to ask what îs the problem and the Recepționist Said to wait because the hot water WILL COME!! That s it what it Said, no interest at all, i dont Want to be rude But the Recepționist seemed drunk. The wi-fi don t work at all But this îs a small problem compared to the others one. You dont stay in the heart of Rome as they say also, you are a Little bit far, not very far But far from Fontana di Trevi, colosseo and other atractions. In conclusion, please Take in the consideration my review please, i only stayed one night and get out from there, they don t Want to give my money FOR the rest of the nights there. I read the reviews FOR this hotel before leaving But i didn t think that it will be that bad. PLEASE DON’T GO THERE!!!

We were very impressed with Town House 62 and would definitely recommend it. It is located on an upper level of an an attractive building (yes, there's an elevator) and the internal fit-out of Town House 62 is very new and stylish. Our room (# 3) was large and had much more than space than many capital city hotel rooms offer. Breakfast served daily to the room was good with plenty of food/beverage choices. The location of Town House 62 is great. It is in a relatively quiet but interesting part of Roma with many local inhabitants, rather than being a tourist oriented neighbourhood. Access to the historic centre of the city is simple with a bus stop immediately at the front door. The Metro station is approximately a 7 to 10 minute walk away. We arrived quite early and stored our bags there. Check-in was very straightforward, and throughout our stay, Jeffrey and Mark were very helpful and always ready to talk and answer any questions we had about the facilities. The driver service to/from Fiumicino was good value at 55 euro each way for two people. In summary, this hotel was a great find and deserves a very high ranking.

The hotel building itself is stunningly beautiful attached to a church it's an old monastery, with amazing views across Rome from the roof terrace. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms all have a television and air conditioning, unlimited supply of breakfast goods. A few downsides but not enough to make me not want to stop there again. No tea or coffee facilities in the room which means once breakfast is finished you have to go downstairs to the entrance area to buy tea and coffee from a coffee machine. Did find I had to ask for an extra blanket as it got quite chilly one evening and the bed only had one very thin blanket on it. The room we stayed in unfortunately had a sulphuric eggy smell from the bathroom which was quite overpowering at first, I have since googled it and it's not dangerous just very smelly, the staff were very accommodating and offered us another room however we found the same smell in another room so decided to stay where we were instead of the upheaval. Breakfast consisted mainly of bread, cakes and pastries but there was also yoghurts and fruit. Approximately 30 minutes walk to the Colosseum. some lovely restaurants, a market and a beautiful park with a dog area very close by. However if you want to buy food to take in you really need to pick it up on the way back to the hotel as there are no shops close by. I would definitely stay again though.

The location of the apartment was right in the centre of Rome and within walking distance to many attractions such as the Vatican and the coliseum etc. The room itself was tidy and fairly modern. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, offering advice on hot spots to go during our trip. Unfortunately the aircon controls do not work and so the room gets very hot. We went whilst it was cool so could open the window and regulate the temperature quickly, although the busy city traffic is very noisy so peace and quiet had to be sacrificed. I would avoid this place if you are planning a trip in the summer! The room sometimes smelt of sewage but nothing too major, just not pleasant when you arrive back at the property. There were building works throughout our stay so the property really wasn’t pleasing to look at and there was mesh over all of the scaffolding outside our window so we had no view whatsoever which meant the room didn’t let in any natural light and the room lighting itself was very dingy and could have done with betting inside lights.

Just finished a busy trip in Italy and needed a place to spend the night prior to heading back to 01020. This little gem was just what was needed-an oasis of quiet for the evening prior to a long flight home. The room was clean and had enough beds to handle the crowd. Outside there was an area of grass where you could sit and cool your jets late in the evening or early in the morning. As an extra bonus, the owner was kind enough to let me stay and sit at the tables in the grassy area after I checked out by 10am so I could relax and wait for my flight. Worthy of 2 thumbs up.

Reserve two rooms for three nights each paid in advance , I went with my wife and my two children , in fact one was a more expensive suite , but what surprise when we arrived the door of the horrible entrance is falling , No one answers and I call the manager or owner ( ROBERTA ) ,so they open us and when we passed it was very ugly inside is an old and dirty building ,the lift is suitable a bag and a person no more ,come to your room that, by the way, leave the tea, Key in a Box with key and my famous suite with dirty and sweet air socks with noise that doesn't let you sleep and an insupportable smell of moisture , the other room of my children had a problem in the bathroom that the toilet was running water and sounded , The security box of my suite was not working and the other room had a key to open all the bone boxes zero security, but as it was late type 10 pm there is nobody to complain and Roberta no longer answer the phone , He had a bad sleep and the next day we changed from hotel at first hour , I wrote to Roberta to tell her that he had a lot of trouble and that it was not what we had seen on her page that if he could reimburse us the other two nights and never again answered like that We never saw the face of the wing Madam ,I think it was a bad,experience and don't let you be cheated more x what you see or say in the applications why they are horrible and dirty that makes it awful to reach that building ,Please take it into account .

We arrived from the states and began our in the heart of Rome adventure staying at Campo Marzio Luxury Suites. We loved the location and are used to heart of the city life. My wife and I attended an AS Roma soccer match at Stadio Olimpico and walked back from the stadium. The Trevi Fountain and the Coliseum were all within walking distance. The staff was very helpful and secured us a taxi without issue. Breakfast was very enjoyable and brought to our room. We especially enjoyed the coffee and croissants. We will be back again upon our next visit to Rome.

Set in a bustling suburb of Rome with very few other tourists around, the Relais is a short hop on the Metro from the major sites. Leisurely 10 minute stroll to Ponte Lungo Metro stop from the Relais. Rooms are comfortable, simple and nicely decorated. Air Con works well in each room. Only 4-5 rooms in total on one floor set around the small breakfast area. Warm welcome from the owner. Limited English. Don't expect a slap up breakfast. It is a simple, fresh and quick start to the day. Great restuarants and bars around if you go exploring and the market at the end of the road was open every day which was nice to browse before heading out. Would definitely book again for the future. It's not far from the rail line so there is a bit o fnoise from trains but it wasn't an issue.

The hotel does not have a lift, but the hotel can help to bring the luggage into the room, the service is good, will try to meet the guests' requirements. Breakfast in the small restaurant next to the downstairs, there are bread, cake, pizza, eggs, fruit, sausage, cheese, milk, black tea, coffee, etc. It is good, recommend the grilled pizza, not as salty as other restaurants. It tastes good. The central area of Rome is very old buildings and streets. The road is narrow and the parking is not convenient. The hotel is not on the main street. The advantage is that the sleeping is very quiet. The disadvantage is that there is no parking space. Special reminder: Be sure to check the store time in advance, check in after 9 pm, add money!

Spent five nights here with a family member in a twin room. The hotel takes up some floors of a building and is approached via a quiet courtyard entry. You have choice of a marvellous old lift or the stairs to get up to the fourth floor. There are several rooms available off a bright corridor with reception opening onto a an attractive terrace with tables and comfy chairs where they serve the breakfast. Rooms have everything you would want; there is wifi, lots of powerpoints (adapters are available if you forget), scrupulously clean and with air conditioning which is a must in a hot Roman summer. Reception is staffed by really kind, helpful people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Location is really good - close to train (metro) and easily walkable into Rome (main tourist sites like Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Villa Barberini, Villa Julia etc.) shops, parks and you can easily take the metro to the Colosseum or to the central station to get the express train to the FCO airport. Breakfast is a buffet with an array of offerings (cereals, fruit, cold meat, cheese, tomatoes, toast) or they will make you some eggs and bacon if that is your thing. Also coffee or tea. Although you can't check in until 2 (people checkout at 10 and then they have to clean, so fair enough) you can leave luggage there from 10 once breakfast is over. Really enjoyed the stay. Really recommend this place. Would definitely stay there again if I were to return.

We were guests here for a few days. When we arrived we were aware when we wanted to park: before the B&B there are only cost-effective parking places (yellow lines are for the delivery, the blue line marks cost compulsory victory parking places. Hotel location is very good. In the Plaza of Spain, it is a very safe place in Rome. Very close to the subway station. Carrefour is the most popular in 5 minutes. The hotel has a kitchen where you can cook your own meals, which is very convenient. Very good homestay, worth recommending.

We had a delightful stay in this perfectly located small hotel (6 rooms & small registration area 1st floor in an old Palazzo). Three "extra" rooms are in an "annex" so cannot report on them. Our 3 rooms were all well sized (the shower size was a bonus, since most in Italy are tiny!). Two rooms (triples) had street views - and Basilica when I "hung" from the window. Extras -Air conditioning worked beautifully, fridge and cold water in the room and coffee/tea available all day. Immaculately clean, great & friendly staff. Small - but working- lift to the 1st floor. All our taxi drivers knew Via della Conciliazione - so easy access. Cannot complain about anything. Items to be aware of: the breakfast room is small - but little time spent there- and they will hold your luggage in the hall (it is in view of the front desk but not locked). Overall - a wonderful B&B - especially if your goal is to visit Vatican and Castel Sant 'Angelo. We have already recommended to friends for their visit.

Possibility to bring food from outside and heating it in the microwave of the room adjacent to the reception. Contra:Smooth on the ceiling of the bathroom is really too much, a sign of inquiry because it is a moment to clean it, but also in the room but in small shops. I personally would not recommend this hotel or stay here again, that being said if you’re in a pinch like I was and the location works for you it’s not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Pros: -very friendly staff -small breakfast available -very clean rooms -good size room and bathroom for European standards -affordable Cons: -late breakfast start so you miss it on days you have early tours -AC unit works ok but most nights I was too warm and it was the least effective AC unit out of all my hotels I stayed at on my trip -the bed was unbearable! I feel bad complaining so much but it was hard, old and springy. I woke up very sore which hindered my walking during the day and put a damper on the first week of my trip -the duvet covers had rips in them and the duvet itself was very stained and dirty -the hotel is located on an ambulance route which I feel people should be aware of. It was incredibly noisy but my room was facing the busy street side. There’s a hospital near by, two actually, so it wasn’t uncommon from the evening to morning to hear an ambulance roughly every few minutes. It would wake me up even with ear plugs -the room has a lot of lights in it at night, between the AC unit and the exit sign and other lights in the room it was hard to sleep even with a sleep mask -I found the location not convenient personally and would aim to stay closer to Piazza Navona next time.

We have been sleeping two nights in this B&B in Trieste near the railway station, in a third floor palace with lift. There is a parking in Silos nearby. Clean and spacious room. Heat. New bathroom. Exceptional shower. Abundant hand towels. Coffee machine with capsules. Heating machine with tisane. Fridge. All the structure is furnished with contemporary design works for sale. Recommended.
