The room is quite spacious, and the location is easy to find, although you can only get dropped off by taxi on the main road and then walk up a slope into an alley. This could be a bit challenging if you have large luggage and it's raining or very hot. The floor-to-ceiling window is lovely, but a downside is a noticeable smell upon entering the room, and the walls show some dampness, discoloration, and cracks. The location is decent; there's a bus stop right outside the alley, and you can also walk or cycle to West Lake. The closest attractions are Quyuan Garden (Lotus in the Breeze at Crooked Courtyard) and the Botanical Garden. The section along Beishan Street is also well worth exploring. It's very quiet at night, which I really appreciated. It feels like staying in the mountains. The owner even gave me a fridge magnet when I left, which was a nice touch.

The place is quite quiet, but there was no one at the front desk when I checked in, so I had to wait quite a while. Because my female companion didn't bring her ID and checked in late, they actually opened the door to my room and wouldn't close it for me. We were naked. These password-protected doors really don't feel safe at all. I strongly recommend installing a lock. Even if I checked in late and broke the law, the police wouldn't have opened the door for me. I'm speechless, it's so horrible!!!

超預期的一次住宿👍。 民宿其實就是開在社區裏的，本身是個茶室，茶室後面的過道邊就是這一間客房。平心而論，店家已經把能夠考慮到的住宿設施基本都想到了。但這畢竟不能按照酒店的標準去評説，也不能按照一般商業的民宿去對照。 房間就在一樓，很寬敞，佈置的簡單而有序。推門進來玄關邊是衞浴空間，打掃的很乾凈，洗漱用品齊全。走過玄關穿衣鏡，就是卧室+起居，靠牆是茶座區域，簡樸的坐墊中間一張做舊的陶藝茶台，加上打了布丁的仿石墩，侘寂風飄出來了。正中的大床卧具配的很柔和，白色枕被上麻灰床尾毯加梅青靠墊，把房間的靜謐感渲染更深。封起的陽台一頭是香氛和瓶插，一頭是一張雙人布藝小沙發，坐下來看到窗外高高的灌木，自成一個天地。 一幅西畫有心點，一本小説有書膽，而在我看來，整間客房的靈魂就集中在卧床和陽臺中間那張中島喬治躺椅上。躺椅前的小圓幾進一步充實了這份簡單平靜，想來我會臨時住湖山吟更多就是被這種感覺吸引的。而几上那如同本中世紀教本一樣的筆記，則是每一位願意分享此刻的住客留下的美好片段。就像書架上描寫高級酒店的書籍所説，明明都很簡單，店家卻把這間民宿做出了一種複雜高級的味道，讓人不自覺融入其中。 小小一間卧室，正如我之前一位訪客留下的隨想:素履之往，而我們獨行願也。 此外店家和那個大貓咪都很好，位置也是極好的，遊景則近，歸來則靜，很值得來住的一間房[可憐]。

The room was tidy and clean. It's a new hotel, opened just last year, so everything felt very fresh. Even during the National Day holiday, it was very busy, but the staff managed everything efficiently and orderly. They even had fun activities like Werewolf games in the evenings, and people playing drums and singing folk songs, which added a really nice vibe, haha. It's only a few minutes' walk from the subway, and also close to West Lake. Plus, there are lots of great food options nearby at Huanglong International Center. Highly recommend it, I'll definitely be back!

Sincerely recommend this low-key hotel without marketing. The hotel is located in the north of West Lake, at the foot of Geling Mountain, beside Beishan Road. The century-old building was once one of the exhibition halls of the Industrial Pavilion of the West Lake Expo in 1929. The hotel faces Broken Bridge to the east, Agate Temple to the north, and the main gate faces the Jindai Bridge of Baidi Bridge in West Lake. It has its own courtyard, quiet in the bustling city, and excellent scenery. The three-story terrace can overlook Baochu Pagoda and Leifeng Pagoda at the same time, and overlook West Lake. Wisteria, cherry blossoms, hydrangeas fill the courtyard, and fish swim in the fountain, making life leisurely. Stayed for two nights and tried two rooms. The suite facilities are obviously better, and the smart bathroom experience is comfortable. The hotel's butler service is thoughtful, the security brother is serious and responsible, and responds to various needs quickly and comprehensively. Breakfast is a set meal, which can be delivered upstairs.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this bnb! The location is perfect, just a short distance from the Hangzhou Botanical Garden, making it a peaceful and scenic spot. The room was impeccably clean, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. As someone who is very sensitive to noise, I slept like a log every single night! The host, the owner lady, was incredibly warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. When I caught a cold during my trip, she not only went out to buy medicine for me but also gave me extra supplies to help me recover. Her kindness and thoughtfulness were truly heartwarming. She upgraded my room without me asking! Despite the language barrier (I don’t speak Mandarin), she made every effort to communicate and ensure I had everything I needed. Her hospitality made my stay in Hangzhou truly delightful and memorable. The convenience of having a bus right outside the complex was also a huge plus, making it easy to explore the city. I cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and welcoming place to stay in Hangzhou, this is it. This was a great find in Hangzhou. We really enjoyed the hostess and her family and would return again for that reason. Her English was also very good. The coffee is very nice for 8rmb! I’ve read other reviews about WiFi and it does require a local Chinese number to connect. The cleanliness was a little lacking. I was traveling with a toddler who is often on the floor. I wish the floor had been cleaner in the room and bathroom. I was able to laundry on site and there was a dryer available (20 rmb total). Overall, great stay and will hopefully return again.

I came here in winter, and right after I got off the high-speed rail station, the proprietress called me to tell me how to get to the B&B conveniently, as well as places to eat nearby. Before returning to the B&B, she turned on the heater and electric blanket for me. The facilities were pretty good. At first I wondered if living on the first floor would be noisy, but Qingzhiwu is very quiet in winter. I forgot to take pictures of the room, so I only took a few pictures while eating takeout.
