This was our first trip to Radium after spending most of our Rockies vacations in Banff or Canmore. The resort was well priced for the size and amenities and we so enjoyed the slower pace of this small town (and the hot springs of course!) The condo was large and modern. The fireplace was warm and cozy, as were the beds. The full kitchen was very handy and we enjoyed the hot tubs without any issues (booking required during COVID). The areas for improvement are not major but would go a long way. 1. One pot of coffee included regardless of how many nights stay - any other hotel we have stayed at includes one pot/day. Cream in the room/fridge would have also been a nice touch. 2. Charging an enhanced cleaning fee due to COVID plus having guests have to take out their own garbage, do the dishes, bag the linens AND check out by 10am (vs the standard 11am) made for a very rushed end to our trip.. not the best experience. For an enhanced cleaning fee I would expect to not have to do all of that work OR if I am expected to do all that, a slightly later check out would have made for a smoother check out experience. Other than those two things we very much enjoyed our stay - the wildlife were amazing and the natural grounds were lovely.

I was somewhat disappointed in my stay at the Prestige. First the positive, breakfast at the hotel was decent and the room was a good size, but with a parking lot view. Now onto the not so great, The pillows were not comfortable, bed okay. Just glad to be on the quiet side of the hotel. However, there was no coffee nor any cups whatsoever in the room. When I called down I was told that they used to serve coffee in the lobby, but do not anymore because of COVID 19. They did not have coffee makers for all the rooms. I waited on the phone for the front desk agent to suggest a solution, but none came, not even an offer that I could pick up coffee in the restaurant in the morning. Coffee makers are cheap, please buy them for all rooms and provide coffee or tea service, or at least offer to provide take out coffee in the restaurant until this is remedied. I went down and picked up some cups so I could at least drink some water in my room, but found they worked even better for wine. Also, the staff do not seem informed of the amenities in the hotel, I asked whether they have laundry service and was told no, then walked around the first floor and found a coin operated laundry room.

We’ve stayed at the Crystal Springs multiple times over the last 8 years. After not visiting Radium for a couple years we booked again without realizing ownership had changed. And it’s gone downhill. On the surface it appears clean but it ends there. I went to grab a high chair the first night we were there and it was so filthy I used 3 diaper wipes to get it “usable” while staff members stood by and watched. We pulled back our bedding the first night to find a tuft of black hair on the bed sheets. After showering I noticed my feet were quite dirty from the floors and asked that they ensure the floors get cleaned, especially since we have a crawling baby. They insisted they clean it with a rag between guests and they’d do a better clean while we were gone for the day. 15 minutes after returning I accidentally spilled water on the floor and went to wipe it up. The towel I wiped it with was absolutely filthy. There is no possible way the floor had been cleaned recently. I took the towel to show it wasn’t cleaned and was met with an argumentative man insisting it was as clean as it was going to be and that he would not make it right. I firmly stated that this was unacceptable, that we’d found hair in the bedding as well and that when you’re advertising enhanced cleaning due to a PANDEMIC the rooms better be cleaner than that. They didn’t take the dirty water cups / coffee mugs out of the room and when I asked for clean ones I was handed Half a sleeve Of disposable cups. I was told if I didn’t like it I could leave but would be charged for the full night. After that we found crumbs and hairs on one of the bunk beds and the remaining unused coffee cup was dirty inside. I’ll attach a photo of the towel I used to wipe the bathroom floor as well as a photo of the Inside of the coffee mug. There was a dead bug under the sink and various other bugs in the room throughout the stay. Despite being booked for 3 nights we left after two because it was dirty and the staff were completely unwilling to do anything make it right. Would not recommend staying here, especially if you stayed while the previous owners were around- you’ll surely be disappointed. If, however, a decent price and a place with horrible customer service that is barely surface cleaned is your jam then this is definitely the place for you.

Amazing location, well cared for property and beautiful building. The location is so peaceful and quiet that you will have a wonderful nights sleep! The rooms are nicely organised with everything you require and the beds have top quality mattresses. We loved the outside veranda around the building with chairs and tables to sit in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine. The building itself was beautifully designed and the breakfast room breath taking! The breakfasts were excellent each day. Everything top quality throughout. Certainly the only place to stay in Radium Hot Springs !

This is my wife and I 5th time in the past 4years staying at Piccadilly. Every summer we always take a trip out to radium and love staying here. The owners Pauline and Lee offer hands down the best hospitality you can imagine. They treat all their guests here like family and will go above and beyond to make your stay here as relaxing as possible. The breakfast they serve here is to die for, I would gladly drive the 4.5hrs from red deer just to have their breakfast. The French toast bake and the eggs Benedict casserole are top notch restaurant quality dishes. On top of the delicious food, Piccadilly is conveniently located to local shops, restaurants and only a 5min drive to the hot springs. If your planning on a trip through radium I highly recommend staying here and plan on staying here for at least 2 nights. I can’t wait to come back here next summer, except I think we’ll make our radium stop for at least 4+ nights!!!

The place is super clean and everything is well maintained. they provide eco friendly locally made amenities for the bathroom. the room is well equipped and was very roomy for a very good price. location was excellent and the surrounding area is magical. The family that owns and runs the Gateway are friendly and knowledgable about the area. The breakfast is light, fresh and delicious. It has everything that you need for one night or in our case 3 nights.

Haven't had so much fun on a Canadian vacation in a while...phoned ahead and booked the west facing building room with a king and a double jacuzzi! There's so much to do in the Columbia valley, if you get bored, you gotta check your pulse. My husband and I joked about the faux marble jacuzzi, but after a full day of hiking, hoodoo and goat and deer viewing and adventuring--The double jacuzzi was heaven sent, we're not getting any younger! checked in late, checked out late, slept in late until the infamous percy the peacock woke us up with his calling at about lunch time, so its not a noisy place! Room was spotless, service was amazing and they wanted to clean the room every day which wasn;t even necessary because we were out adventuring most of the time. Mountains ae completely out of sight and beautiful, got groceries and salads and the BBQ area was really clean and looked newly done. For the price we paid, we could come back twice compared to our usual getaways to Mexico...with every kind of activity in the valley you could ever want...Golf so gorgeous your friends are gonna be green with envy! Where are you going to get a king room with a double jacuzzi in a beautiful location for this price...we can't find it! Will be back!

Spotlessly clean, well maintained classic motel with a vacancy/no vacancy sign. Very helpful hostess was out in front tidying up the flowers when we pulled in. Provided us with free towels for the hot springs. Very quiet room on second story where we drove up the hill around back for access. Window on opposite side faces the street for decent view, but virtually no traffic noise. Most other motels in town are very close to the street, and noise could be a problem.

I’ve stayed at this motel numerous times over the past 15 years and have always enjoyed the experience. The last 2 owners were so warm, helpful and friendly. I believe the economy and the perhaps the pandemic led to the last sale, unfortunate. Firstly it was difficult to connect to the hotel over the phone and was required to leave a voicemail which took some time to be returned. The office wasn’t open for many hours which made getting assistance with anything difficult. When I inquired about something to a worker, English as a second language was a huge interference. The new owners have made some improvements. The outdoor pool is always a big draw but it was unfortunate that the boiler wasn’t working so it was very cold. It would of been nice to be made aware of this but we enjoyed sitting up there. I do love the peacefulness of Radium and the scenery because of this and 5he pool we will probably return. Note they still don’t have air conditioning.

We found this little gem because our reservations down the road we’re screwed up. We stayed in a two room with a kitchenette. The owners do all the cleaning and maintenance the place is immaculate. Everything provide to cook your own meals including a propane bbq in the backyard along with horseshoes and mini golf. Beds were comfortable although double beds were difficult to get used to from a king at home. Would definitely stay again and actually will be back. Thanks for a great weekend
