Constanta
|1.38km from city centerSuper price - Performance ratio! Breakfast surprised us and was rich and in good quality! The coffee from Austria by Julius Meinl one of the best Austrian coffee houses was a sensation and has very excited to find it on the Black Sea. The rooms were very good, the only suggestion for improvement would be to take tougher mattresses. But the sofa was super and my husband then sleeped on the sofa that was a little tougher and also sufficient. The beach is a stairway and we will definitely come here next year more often and spend our weekends here. Great service and excellent staff that is always friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and earned a plus point.

|0.96km from city centerImpecably clean. Maximum attention to details: no restrictions about using the spa area, you can stay as long as you want, the temperature is carefully controlled on all hotel areas,I felt no disconfort on leaving the spa area to get to my room, they constantly perfume the air , there is low volume music suitable for total relaxation. The room was cleaned every day and the towels, bathrobes changed and shampoo refilled, any demands were met quickly. Breakfast was diverse ,tasty, good expresso. And the massage, amazing.( Felicia and her collegue we're profesional and pleasant). Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel

Constanta
|0.73km from city centerLess than 20 mins walk from the railway station with wheeled hand luggage, this hotel was easy to find, located on a busy road junction. A very different but stylish & inviting foyer & reception area surprised me on my entry into the hotel. Straight to reception to check in & I was asked to fill in a registration form & my passport was photocopied. Maybe it was the language barrier as, even though it was quite friendly, I found the experience quite cold, even robotic. I had to ask for info on breakfast & Wi-Fi etc & was told that all info was on printouts in the room. I did manage to find out that breakfast had to be ordered for the following morning & a time booked for same. With access by either a lift or stairs, I was taken to my room, no. 110, by the receptionist using the stairs (just a small number of steps & not at all steep). With my room key & key card for electricity in hand, I opened the door to my room & what a first impression as the design, layout & colour scheme was really eye catching in a positive way. A large room, bright, clean & contemporary with a solid oak floor, wall mounted tv, wardrobe, safe, luggage rack, double bed, armchair, mirror, work desk, footstool/pouffe, minibar (photo of prices attached to this review), coffee table, smoke alarm, aircon ranging from 16 to 30 degrees, large double radiator, small dining table & 2 chairs, dressing gown, slippers & 2 spare electrical sockets. A large window & a door to a nice sized balcony (with 2 chairs) meant a lot of natural light in the room but there was also noise from traffic, not massively loud but nonetheless, I was very much aware of it. No noise issues from inside the hotel. The free Wi-Fi with password activation & a pick of 6 user log ins was quick to connect to, had good speed & was consistent & reliable. The bathroom was large, clean, fresh, stylish & well designed with great use of space. With tiled floor & walls there was a free standing bath, bath shower mixer with fixed height rain shower head, an adjustable height shower head & hose on a rail which could be used fixed or handheld, good water pressure, loads of hot water, shower curtain, hair & body liquid soap in a wall dispenser, large mirror, ceiling vent, wall mounted hairdryer, dual voltage shaver socket, heated towel rad, towels, chair, liquid soap, hand sanitizer & hand & body lotion in wall mounted dispensers, small bottle of hair & body shampoo, shower cap & vanity kit. I found the bathroom to be quite dark with just the ceiling light on but very bright when the wall lights above the mirror were turned on. Breakfast, served from 08:00 to 11:00, was tasty & filling. I ordered it on the evening before & booked it for 09:30. I was ready to go down for it when I heard a knock on my door which turned out to be my breakfast being brought to me which I wasn’t aware was the process. On the menu was English breakfast (eggs, beans, bacon & sausages), boiled/poached & fried eggs, scrambled eggs with cheese, omele

Mamaia
|3.99km from city centerNo parking place for the car - only if you block other cars and stay 24/7 available to go and move your car. Did not receive the rooms we paid for, only when we realized that they gave us something inferior, and insisted to receive what we paid for. (they did not even let us know that they gave us something else). In the end, after a lot of fighting and asking for our rights, somehow our right room became available. No AC for half of the holiday. Even if we announced and they promised that it will be repaired. After insisting ”too much” they told us that they will give our money back and we can go to look for a room at a different hotel. Room keys demagnetized at 10AM and check out was at 12 AM. And their answer was: Well, you have to leave the room. Do not go. If you want to enjoy your holiday and avoid staying all day at the reception with problems, just look for a different hotel.

|2.09km from city centerIt was the best way to celebrate love. 😀. Lovely party, with everything that is needed to spent quality time. We danced, we laughed, we enjoyed the food and drinks. All staff members did their best to make us have the best time spent. The SPA was like a cherry on a cake. The rooms are spacious and clean. Keep up the good work you do. See you next year!

|4.74km from city centerI was in three different hotels here in Konstanta. All had four stars but only one could convince with service, friendliness, cleanliness and customer service. [The On Plonge Junior]. The staff are all friendly. The room always top clean. Eating and drinks were really good and cheap. It is also to mention here the child friendliness and the possibility for the small to play. A extra furnished toy and bolts before the hotel was at no time a problem. Washing service was also offered and has worked very well. All in the washing bag and washed and assembled back 48h later. I mention this here in another hotel, although washing washing is not the underwear. Sincerely, what is it going to do. Finally, a very thick praise to the entire team of On Plonge, does so.

|4.84km from city centerThis was our second stay here. We had a warm welcome, and we were pleasantly surprised to be recognised. The room was very clean and in good condition, the staff was nice and helpful. While we were out, the bedsheets and towels were changed. Despite all the options in a city like Constanta, we chose to have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and couldn’t be more satisfied. The food was incredible - we took up on our waiter, Daniel’s recommendation for our main course and let the chef decide our dessert. It was an excelent choice. We strongly recommend this location!

Mamaia
|1.12km from city centerHotel Central is located in the center of the seaside resort of Mamaia only a few meters from the beach and is a typical communist-era seaside hotel that has been renovated and upgraded in recent years The hotel can offer a pleasant garden, private swimming pool, bar and restaurant. All rooms have a balcony and there is a well-functioning free wireless network in the hotel. On arrival, it took some time to get in touch with the employee at the reception to check in and I missed some smiles and commitment to me as a guest. The same also applied when checking out and for other inquiries to reception. This lack of service is something that is most likely left over from the communist era and which has still not improved much despite other changes in society. The guest room was simply furnished, but in addition to the beds, had a fridge, desk and well-functioning air conditioning. The balcony was equipped with two chairs and a table. However, I missed a small drying rack to dry clothes. The beds were in good condition and had clean linen. The cleanliness was otherwise very good and the room was cleaned every day. The bathroom was simply furnished with a shower, toilet and sink, but appeared to be clean and well maintained. The towels were clean and in good condition. Breakfast was served as a buffet and had a good selection of both hot and cold dishes, including fried eggs, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs. The buffet was regularly replenished and there were no empty serving platters. The selection on the buffet was good, but still far from the standard of the breakfast buffets served in Scandinavia and Germany. It was possible to eat breakfast outside. The hotel's swimming pool was open from 0900-1800 and included a small pool, deckchairs and parasols, lifeguard and toilet facilities. The pool area was clean and in good condition and it was observed that the employees regularly took samples of the water quality, which was perceived as positive. The staff at the pool area were cheerful and service minded. The hotel had a nice location, pleasant rooms and walking distance to most everything. There was something lacking in the service part of the staff, but in relation to the price I felt I got good value for money. NB! They charges me 60 EUR to wash a few t-shirts and shorts.
