Great option in the very heart of Zermatt. We stayed there for 2 nights for the Zermatt Ultraks and the hotel is located just a few meters from the race start. Rooms are nice and functional and ours had a balcony with a great view on the Matterhorn. Host was super nice and flexible, we could e.g. Leave our luggage locked after checkout for later pickup. Rooms not facing the Matterhorn have apparently been just renovated with remaining rooms to follow soon.

The best hotel in Zermatt, there are fruit nuts, chocolate, red wine, etc. You can have an extra bed, breakfast is great, there are swimming pool, billiards and table tennis. Going to the train station is also specially called a carriage, very good, at checkout The price is 100 Swiss francs more than Ctrip. After watching Ctrip’s order, I immediately refunded 100 Swiss francs. A very good hotel.

Great hotel Don’t expect luxury but given the price point you know this already The rooms are small but functional with everything you need for your stay including a great coffee machine that’s topped up daily. Breakfast is well beyond what I was expecting and had cereals, meats, yoghurts, breads, cheeses, sausages, eggs and probably much more! Plus more really good coffee! Located 5 minutes walk to Bayard ski rental, and an additional 1 minute to the Gornergrat railway taking you up onto the slopes From the hotel, you can be on the train in under 10 minutes. Staff are really helpful and allowed us to keep our bags there on the last day even though we’d checked out. There’s a quick lift to all floors. I would highly recommend the hotel if your plans are to ski all day, go out on an evening and use it as a place to sleep. Would certainly return

This hotel is too fond of it! The decoration of the hotel is very beautiful and the room can see the snowy mountains! The service staff was very good at night. It was like waiting for us to call out my name. I also prepared wine and tea as a welcome drink. Breakfast is delicious, although there are not many types, but the whole environment will make you enjoy it. I will book it next time and ask the front desk to tell you all kinds of information. The store that rents ski clothes downstairs will also give you a 10% discount.

First of all, the Matterhorn area has a beautiful scenery and it is worth a visit. The hotel is one of the best of our Oritsu trips, really recommend it! The Garni Hotel is on the main street, 5 minutes walk from the train station and next to a pharmacy. The door is not big, the interior is particularly modern and very new, and the bed is soft and hard. A small front desk is a girl - Elena Elina, the French girl took the Russian name (she said that Dad wants to make her a little special), especially warm sunshine, doing things quickly and neatly, very cute and humorous! There is a large terrace in the room, overlooking the snowy mountains and beautiful scenery. There is a coffee machine in the room to burn hot water. Small apples are available at the front desk, and the bottled water in the restaurant is self-picked.

The room keys hand on the wall right beside the front desk. This was a very cool old school way to start our stay. Our room was very comfortable and ver nice looking. A true chalet experience. Balcony over the main street was cool. Bathroom was big and easy to use. The bar was very inviting along with the terrace out back. Breakfast was excellent. We were greeted at the train station by a cheerful coachman and we rode through Zermatt in the horse carriage to the beautiful, historic hotel! From the windows in our room we could see the Matterhorn and the church bell tower. We had two connecting rooms to accommodate our family and the layout was great and beds comfortable. The outdoor restaurant was a wonderful place for lunch or après-ski. The breakfast buffet was enormous and delicious—so many choices of both hot and cold foods and freshly squeezed juices all in a glorious dining space. The top rate staff—every single person—the coachman, the front desk staffers, the wait staff, and the housekeeper made our stay fabulous. We have stayed in lovely hotels around the world and this was truly the best of the best!

Great hotel right on the main street in Zermatt. Very close to the train station but guests do not hear or see trains at all. Very welcoming and helpful front desk staff. Unique decorations in the lobby make this hotel very attractive. We were part of a travel group so I don't know if our room was typical. But it was very large and comfortable. I cannot say enough nice things about the Hotel Alex. Will definitely stay here again if ever get back to Zermatt.

The most satisfactory hotel in the eight-day Swiss tour, the main reason is that just arrived at the hotel reception desk was informed that the free upgrade to the opposite Monte Palace Hotel! ! It isn’t very often that one is eager to write a review, and to make sure that it is a review that does the stay, the employees, and the ownership justice..but that is what I will attempt to do. We were very lucky to have booked this hotel. Upon arrival to the station, we were picked up right on time and shared our ride with a gentleman from France. He told us many great things in addition to the fact that he had been coming here for years - little did we know that this one line would encompass our entire stay. The service here is on a whole other level. The moment we arrived we felt at home, and it almost felt like every employee was briefed on our arrival. The communication was excellent. They had a WhatsApp channel that responded within seconds to any question we had. The breakfast incredible, food was amazing, staff and service again amazing and so friendly - spend a week or two here and you’ll feel like you truly are from zermatt. Coming back to the breakfast … bread carving station. Fresh juices. Amazing cheeses. Fresh fruits. Smoked salmon. Cured meats. The best coffee. It’s simply fantastic. After a few days you notice that many families sit at the same tables every single day. We met a lovely German family who explained to us that their family had been coming here for decades, and that the owners themselves practically raised them when they were kids. They were nice enough to offer to give us a tour of the mountains, and that was a day we will always remember. When you come to a place like this. You feel the history. You feel the love, and you feel the energy which trickles down to the small little things. The owner comes by and says hello everyday, the waiters check in with you regularly, and you always feel welcome. You find yourself cleaning up your table at breakfast like it was your very own. Let me not skip over the spa. A place of serenity that is welcomed after a long day on the slopes. The saunas are great, the pool amazing, and the hot seats overlooking the Matterhorn are a delight. Next up! The proximity to the train is so great. Your feet will love you for it. Maybe a 5 minute walk? I don’t know how else to tell you, but this is the place to stay if you want great service, a great room, and to be greeted and treated with a smile every single day. It could just be a dream, but I’m leaving here hoping to also come back every year and ultimately with my family to enjoy this incredible town and this incredible hotel. Cheers to next year. Thank you for everything.

After a ton of research… decided on Swissflair and couldn’t have been happier!! The staff is so kind, the rooms are so clean and comfortable, and the food is great. The hotel is a 3 min walk from the main road on a more quiet street (better!), has a great jacuzzi and Sauna and a yummy breakfast as well. There’s a ski storage room and the front desk was very helpful making reservations for me. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also great! It’s a quick 5 min taxi or 3 min walk to the free shuttle to get to the mtn. Couldn’t have been easier to ski and access the town. Overall, if you want clean, nice rooms, with a great location and friendly staff, this is the place for you! Loved my stay and will certainly be a returning guest

The service was very good, the staff who picked up the car ran twice and received us without any bit of impatience. The front-end glasses sister also helped us solve many practical problems and helped set the family's black-faced sheep (black-faced sheep service). The attitude is very bad, I won’t go.) The hotel hardware measures are good. The next day I came across a very fat front desk. The city tax list gave me direct garbage. I didn’t give me a very rude job. I was late for work. The breakfast started at 7:30. Because we had to catch the early glacier train, the breakfast staff was very touched by the service in advance. The other party was very happy and hoped that she would always be happy. The quality of the town's service staff is very poor, and both of them can meet hhhhh.

This hotel is the best one in my 12-day trip in Switzerland. The details of the hotel are very good. The minibar in the room is free, there is beer bubble water, etc. The room is large and can be used for extra beds. There are some hot foods outside, which are included in the room rate. It is a very careful hotel. There are many things to send, chocolate, special drinks, sweets, etc. Many details can reflect that this is a high-powered hotel, although the hotel is Half-mountain, but it does not affect travel at all. There is a hotel bus transfer to and from the train station, and the hotel has a direct elevator to the foot of the mountain. The elevator is the entrance to the rothorn, very good!

At eleven o'clock in the fast night, many hotels in Switzerland are not on duty at night. The hotel's door is closed, the door is affixed to the phone, the phone is in English, tell me the access code, how to check in after entering the door, the phone says I don't understand what I found. I suddenly found an envelope at the front desk, writing my name, taking the key to check in. The hotel waiter thought very thoughtfully. The next morning I found the service was very warm and the breakfast was good.

I was the second time in march for 4 days there. The new building with the big choise of appartements makes the stay in the Resort extra ordinary. The SPA is one of the nicest in Switzerland. It has 3 Pools on two levels. Most of them are outside and they have every feature a modern SPA could have. After a day of skiing to be in that fine warm outside infinity pool is heaven on earth. The hotel staff are very helpfull and the owners taking a acting part and interrest in the guests. Its THE PLACE in Zermatt to stay.

The best hotel in Switzerland, the wooden house, the room is very large, there is a sofa, a coffee table, a refrigerator, which is equivalent to four stars in China. It is also OK to have a bed with a 5-year-old child. You can see the snow-capped mountains on the balcony with a recliner. Breakfast for children is free, and it is awesome. Many hotels in Switzerland are charged, which is very suitable for friends with children. A little distance from the train station, but the town is not big, it is just a walk, and the hotel is very close to the Matterhorn Museum. European breakfast is relatively simple, mainly bread, milk, fruit juice and so on. The picture is the Matterhorn to the river near the hotel.

The hotel is directly connected to the small town of Zermatt by a small train, and the traffic is very convenient. The service staff are very professional, including the front desk and restaurant service staff are very friendly and caring. When I checked in, I saw that my identity was my birthday, and I also sent a free birthday cake when we had dinner. There is another point that Ctrip did not specify. The hotel includes breakfast and dinner. When I booked, there was a Matterhorn view room with a small living room, and the room was large enough. The outdoor jacuzzi and sauna experience are great, with a view of the Matterhorn. The hotel guests are very qualified, and everyone tries to wait for the outdoor bathtub when there is no one. The jacuzzi is open from 3pm to 8pm, and the stars can basically be seen after dark at 7pm. You can take very beautiful and private photos. In short, the hotel is very worthwhile, and the scenery alone is worthy of full marks.

What an amazing experience! In planning our Swiss Holiday, Hotel Bellerive made it very easy with prompt email responses back with answers to all the questions I had! In fact it was a deal we couldn’t pass up with a fantastic price. Mario was so very nice to fetch us from the train station and even to the train station when we left. Raphaela, Katya, Steffi, and Elena were all so very professional, attentive, welcoming, and happy to help us with anything and everything. When we first checked in Katya and Raphaela were so warm and inviting to us! We even got a nice note and wine bottle when we opened the door to the hotel room the very first day we checked in! Steffi was also an amazing masseuse; she was so good I slept during the last 15 minutes! All the staff really made us feel like family. It is the best hotel in Switzerland in 8 days. The worst hotel I used to stay in before was 4 stars of 2800 yuan, basically all 5 stars. The facilities are new and the new hotel is more in my style. The service is in place, reflecting the high level of Swiss hotel service industry. The rooms are not large or small, just right, the toilets are a bit small, and the toiletries are a well-known British brand. Because the owner of the hotel loves whiskeys, there is a cabinet for whiskeys in the lobby. Whiskey in the room can be drunk for free, which is a waste for me who does not drink. The breakfast is not many, but it is very exquisite and you can eat it well. Self-driving is not allowed here, there are shuttle buses to the train station, you need to call in advance to book. Several attractions are close. The hotel swimming pool is also good, although not large, you can swim and watch the mountain view. I will definitely choose here next time. Price is also good.

We stayed in suite 22 with our daughter. It was very clean and well maintained. The bedroom and living space both had an excellent view of the Matterhorn. The room was warm and spacious! Both spaces also had their own TV. The cable service cut-out every 10 minutes or so for 5 or 6 seconds at a time, but i can't fault the hotel for that, it was probably a provider issue. The WiFi was fast enough for each of us to be posting to the web and reading about what was going on back home. The master bedroom was nice even though Europeans still haven't figured out that couples prefer a Queen over two singles pushed together, each having their own duvet. It had nice access to the balcony and a window into the bathroom which made my daughter uncomfortable. Curtain on the bathroom window were provided, but the sliding glass window allowed all sounds to pass freely. There were plenty of places in the living room to store our clothing, but the master bedroom had none, which meant we had to fetch our clothes. My daughter slept on a Murphy bed that she thought was novel. The bathroom was the best we have had yet. Plenty of water pressure, clean Jacuzzi tub, Heated towel rack (a little flaky - play with the switch till it works). Two sinks! Window into Master Bedroom... previously mentioned. The Hotel provided breakfast which was awesome. Eggs and ham or bacon cooked to order, yogurt, breads, cheeses, fruit, and cereals were available. The workout room had a stair-master, a treadmill and weights, but who needs those after a day on the slope? It did advertise a Jacuzzi, but it wasn't much better than the one in our bathroom, so never tried it. The sauna was good for hurting muscles! It was a ten-minute walk up hill to the Matterhorn Express lift, if you didn't want to wait around for the bus, and we never wanted to wait. There is a 4-star restaurant that we visited on New-Year's eve. All the staff were friendly and conscientious. The food was great, but a typical since they usually cook the food over an open fireplace grill.

The hotel is in a good location, opposite the train station, and there is a red line in the town and a green line bus. The hotel belongs to the self-service hostel hostel, which has a large kitchen and dining room. The kitchen utensils are very complete, and the pots and pans are connected to the rice cooker. Because Swiss prices are really expensive, we are all eating food in the kitchen by COOP. Many of the guests who have stayed here for a few days are buying ingredients in a box and affixing their names. I really like this kind of hostel. Friends from all corners of the country gather here to be self-sufficient. Use the endless ingredients to stay there for the people you need.
