The room is big enough, but the balcony is very small and can’t get out. The balcony wall is very high and you can’t see the river view outside. Of course, you may consider the safety factor to get such a high cement wall. The entrance is under construction when you check in, which will affect the traffic and location. Самый комфортный отель, в котором мне приходилось прибывать 👍 1. Безумно красивый отель : как снаружи, так и внутри. Комфортные номера. На сайте можно оставить пожелание по поводу кровати (одну большую или две одноместные). 2. Уборка номеров каждый день (что не везде бывает). 3. Самая классная функция- заказ завтрака в номер! Завтрак невероятно вкусный, большое порции и достаточно большой выбор блюд! На ресепшен вы можете оставить свои пожелания к завтраку , к какому времени вам принести. Спасибо повторам, за такой вкусный завтрак! Рисовая каша как из детства! Сервировка тоже на высоте! 4. Расположение. Все в пешей доступности (до всех достопримечательностей города вы можете дойти пешком, тем самым насладиться атмосферой Петербурга) 5. Приятные работники отеля! Единственный и незначительный минус: 1,5 спальное оделяло, но это опять на любителя. Мы с мужем спим под одним большим. Но думаю , что можно на ресепшен попросить большое. Но опять - это на любителя. We lived in the hotel 8-9 June. We arrived very early in the morning, at 6 a.m. and we were settled immediately. Room 730. Windows in the yard. Very quiet, although the hotel is in the very center of the city. Everything is clean. There is a tea set. A strange solution with champoo, gel and balsam. It is better to pour them into the dosage. And a strange solution with the curtain in the bathroom.... The toilet paper is wet. There is a smooth board in the room. Utig and toothbrushes on request. A chic breakfast. Kashi, omlets, very delicious sausages and quiz cabbage. Breads, cheese, becon, champagne, vegetables, fruit. Fruit is very much. There are peaches, and apples and bananas, peanuts and arbuzas. Yogurts, jams, honey. But! Most important! We asked for a late departure and we were allowed to stay in the room until 6:00, for which the huge gratitude to the hotel staff. So we managed to pay, stay the vertile for a day in fact 2 days) after that, also left for the purse until late in the evening. Thank you very much for the welcoming staff of this hotel. In a cozy restaurant on the 5th floor, the breakfast is very good with a great variety. We went to the bar on the 7th floor and we could see the view of the cathedral.
I read a lot of complaints about closing windows, including. Those who definitely need air circulation, be careful and write down your wishes. If possible, I think your request will be approved. Everything about us is great.

Have been here so many times in the past and now found it deserted, empty and grey. Not sure if a bathtub is any longer an extra value (we'd preferred a shower cabin)... same as a spa, if it is that kind of spa... where personnel claims they know better than the customers how to do sauna properly (I live in Scandinavia for almost 20 years and hopefully qualify ;)) We were asked for proof of COVID-vaccination, but then... people at the breakfast restaurant were not wearing masks and even the security guard in the lobby was not always doing so. Breakfast in general has also deteriorated in diversity, but it was bearable ;) Pedestrian walkway along the hotel was not cleaned of ice (well, it was the case of St.Petersburg in general). Perhaps, the proximity to the airport is the best remaining merit of the hotel, sorry to say that... :(((SOLD OUT

If you are looking for a value for money accommodation close to the station, I recommend it. It is located 3-5 minutes from the station and it seems that it is not possible for a woman or a single person to go around the big road. There is a small mart right in front of you, and there is a restaurant around that can be eaten simply. There was an ATM machine in the basement of the hotel, so I could find cash without going to the bank. Early check-in is required, but I definitely recommend the spectacular view around the city.SOLD OUT

This past September I spent 10 days in Saint Petersburg, staying at the Hotel Vera. It was partially a business trip mixed in with a much needed get away. As per usual I was treated with the utmost hospitality and care. Various guidance and assistance, ranging from airline ticket changes to searching for the best taxi fare (and everything in between) was always provided by the highly professional and well natured staff and management of this hotel. The proximity to downtown St. Petersburg, along with various cheap, safe, and convenient public transportation options makes the Hotel Vera even more attractive. Great, nutritious, and tasty breakfasts, not to mention the gourmet dinner menu at “Stepnov” - hotel’s restaurant, added even more pleasure to my stay. In summary, great value and a great place. And very unique as well. Exquisite collection of the stained glass from the past century. Paintings of various artists. Intriguing atmosphere of the quintessential “old Petersburg’s” boutique hotel… This is my sixth stay at the Hotel Vera, and I definitely will be back.SOLD OUT

I had stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights back in September and it was recommended by a friend of mine. I arrived early in the morning and did not expect to have the room ready, thus was pleasantly surprised, when I was able to get into my room by 10am already. The room had a fantastic view to the Cathedral and felt cozy. All necessities were provided. Breakfast was good with a nice and healthy selection and service was prompt and polite. The hotel is in walking distance to major tourist attractions and therefore very conveniently located. I would overall recommend the hotel due to the location and friendliness of the staff.SOLD OUT

The hotel itself is a solid 3 + stars, not 4. The deluxe suite with a view of the Neva is beautiful: clean, the view was pleasing (for the sake of it they took it), a good SPA complex with a swimming pool in the hotel. Additional services (massages, etc.) are quite expensive. But if you take only the entrance to the pool and saunas - it is quite economical. Service is good, clean, but you need to book in advance. Bering restaurant on the ground floor, of course, sadness. The level of service is a weak three. And the feel of the restaurant too. In general, the hotel is pleasant, the location is chic. В шаговой доступности все главные достопримечательности, через дорогу метро, очень много кафе и ресторанов. Об отеле: первый раз мы были в апреле 2022 в номере люкс с 2 балконами и видом на Невский, номер понравился, тёплый, достаточно просторный. Ночью бывает шумно, но после долгих дневных прогулок, это не критично, нам не мешало))) В июле 2022 ездили в номер стандарт, тоже очень понравилось, окна были во двор. Очень тихо, не слышно также и соседей. В номерах чисто, уборка ежедневная, есть кондиционер, телевизор, холодильник, туалетные принадлежности. Очень удобные кровати, идеально чистое белье (для меня это важно). Вкусный завтрак. Если приходишь поздно, то все равно на выбор есть все, а не только каша))) Администраторы очень вежливые и отзывчивые, отдельный им респект. Заселение происходит быстро. Понравилось, что отель для некурящих, в отеле останавливаются приличные люди, чувствуешь себя комфортно и безопасно. Адекватные цены. Рекомендую.

Что касается последней поездки, то с грустью вынужден констатировать, что хотя с точки зрения чистоты и оборудования номеров все было более или менее нормально, то внешнюю обстановку отеля, полностью отравившую мне путешествие, буду с содроганием вспоминать еще не один месяц. Тихая и уютная улочка ?… ну уж нет. Во-первых, в течение светового дня вдоль всей Караванной улицы звучит постоянный и довольно громкий высокочастотный сигнал неопределенной природы. Источника мне выявить не удалось, то ли это мощные кондиционеры, то ли петля обратной связи между звуковой аппаратурой, размещенной в соседних домах, может - побочный результат работы устройств сотовой связи, которыми утыканы крыши соседних домов - бог весть. Местные привыкли и только руками разводят. Кстати, довольно вредная штука для здоровья. Этот то ли звон, то ли свист не только неприятен, но по словам врачей также крайне разрушающе действует на психику. Во-вторых, под окнами без конца производится разгрузка фур, которые постоянно что-то везут в Пятерочку, находящуюся в этом же доме. Причём все это может происходить и в 12 ночи и в 6 утра. Моторы у машин при этом рычат как бешеные. Ящики швыряются на асфальт с какой-то садисткой радостью, словно мстя нам за то, что мы отдыхаем когда уважаемые люди работают. Получению максимального удовольствия от такого бесплатного звукового оформления способствуют неплохие акустические свойства Караванной улицы. Ну и наконец, вишенка на торте. Точно напротив окон всех номеров «Грузинская рюмочная». Двери у которой, как у кабачка 13 стульев всегда гостеприимно открыты для праздношатающейся молодежи. За все 4 ночи лишь один раз исконно русский пьяный мат вперемежку с восточно-грузинским роком стих за окном раньше 2 часов ночи. Излишне говорить о том, что все вышеперечисленные обстоятельства грубо нарушают принятые властями города законодательные акты о тишине, правилах организации работы предприятий торговли в жилых домах и т д. Я нашел все эти законы и внимательно прочел их. Так что хозяева гостиницы, если они действительно хотят предоставить гостям первоклассный сервис, имеют все основания для того, чтобы через суд предъявить претензии своим бесцеремонным соседям. Если это произойдет, я первый скажу, что они красавцы. Ибо я сам ленинградец, провел детство в этих местах и мне крайне неприятно наблюдать вышеназванные явления нового времени, вполне способные перечеркнуть красоту и величие моего родного города… На все мои обращения администрация только разводила руками. Мол, если не нравится спать в летнюю Питерскую ночь с наглухо закрытым окном и яростно ревущим кондиционером, то это твои проблемы. Впрочем и пластик не гарантирует полную звукоизоляцию. Кондиционер кстати помог мне заработать простуду в теплую летнюю ночь. Очень романтично. О том, что по прибытии в номер, мы с женой чуть не задохнулись от вони, я скромно умолчу, как от досадной мелочи. Эпитет

Located in a refurbished old building, it is centrally located and within walking distance to Nevsky Prospect, the main shopping street in St Petersburg. The entrance to the hotel may be hard to find, and you have to carry your luggage up half a floor to take a lift up to the third floor. But everything else was perfect. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and there was even a welcoming tea kindly served by front desk employee Maria. The rooms are neat, modern and impeccable. The only thing you have to remember to bring is your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as it appears that most Russian hotels do not provide. It will also be good if a luggage rack can be placed in the room so that one doesn’t have to bend down to retrieve or pack things in the luggage. The breakfast served in the room every morning is something to look forward to, as they are delicately and beautifully prepared! You have a couple of choices and can pick what you would like for breakfast the next day the night before. The hotel help hailed a reasonably-priced taxi to get me to the airport too. Highly recommended!

Я знаю эту гостиницу давно, еще когда на первом курсе института проходила там практику, теперь я приезжаю сюда в качестве гостя, и могу с уверенностью сказать, что высокие стандарты обслуживания, уважение к своей истории, теплое отношение к гостям - это то, что остается неизменным в этом замечательном месте. За прошедший год мы останавливались в Европе не менее 3 раз в самые памятные для нас даты - на нашу свадьбу, день рождения мужа, годовщину свадьбы и мой день рождения. Каждый раз мы чувствовали себя максимально комфортно и соответственно уровню гостиницы. 3 раза бронировали террасу и один раз делбкс с видом на площадь Искусств. В чем их принципиальное отличие? Делюкс больше - сама комната и ванная, в отличной от других номеров цветовой гамме - беж и зеленый, гарантирован вид на площадь. Больше особых отличий не заметила. Окно открывается полностью, оно достаточно большое, чтобы полюбоваться видом и сделать красивые фото. Терраса - все номера находятся на 5 этаже и выходят либо на Площадь Искусств, либо на Михайловскую улицу. И хотя со всех сторон открывается красота города, нам достался вид на площадь только один раз, в день нашей свадьбы, сколько раз мы не делали примечания к бронированию, что будем благодарны за номер на эту сторону, к сожалению, больше жить именно с этим видом не довелось) Сам номер меньше делюкса, выдержанный в бежевых или розовых тонах. Ощущается некоторая нехватка пространства и ”воздуха”, но которая с лихвой окупается французскими окнами в пол и возможностью завтракать/обедать и ужинать с панорамным видом на город. Наполнение номера, как шкатулочка - разные бокалы, чашечки, приборы, шикарный набор открыток, ручки, карандашики, блокнотики, хороший фен, все для химчистки. Меню подушек для лббой головы и шеи, которые всегда можно попросить у бэкофиса. Фумигатор!) Есть кофемашина, и чайный набор (отдельный респект за вкуснейший чай ”Althaus”), которые всегда можно пополнить по запросу. Минибар за доп.плату, но выбор широкий - от вкусных сладких и соленых снеков до элитного алкоголя. В ванной комнате широкий выбор косметики неплохой фирмы Elemis, везти что-то с собой нет необходимости - шампуни, кондиционеры, молочко для тела, шетки, расчески, бритвенные наборы, даже соль для ванны. Уборка производится два раза в день: утром и вечером, когда номер готовят ”ко сну”, оставляя шоколадные медальки и пожелания на день. Наборы в ванной пополняются после каждой уборки. Внимание персонала видишь на каждом шагу - от встречи на входе, даже не на входе, а на подъезде к гостиницы, когда к тебе сразу подходят, чтобы открыть дверь и помочь с багажом, до баночки меда и поздравдений с памятными датами на каждой твоем шагу в гостинице. |0.57km from ChicagoОтель выбирали, исходя из расположения. Находится прямо в здании за Домом Зингера, в минуте ходьбы от Казанского собора и 10 минутах от Эрмитажа. Маленький нюанс - отель занимает 5 и 6 этаж в доме без лифта. Поэтому тем гостям, кому по каким-либо причинам сложно подниматься и спускаться по ступеням или с тяжелыми сумками, чемоданами, нужно иметь этот факт во внимании. Интерьер отеля выполнен в дереве, что сразу придает уют пребыванию. Полы также деревянные, поэтому прямо на входе вас просят надеть либо бахилы, либо снять обувь и оставить ее в специальных, отведенных под каждый номер, контейнерах. На них как раз указан номер комнаты. Сразу после маленького ресепшн вы попадаете в большую кухню-столовую. Так как эта мини-гостиница является сетью хостелов, отель не предоставляет питания. Но на оборудованной кухне есть: холодильник, где вы можете хранить свои продукты, микроволновая печь, чайник, есть посуда: тарелки, миски, чашки, ножи, вилки, ложки. Даже есть растворимый кофе и чай в пакетиках (бесплатно). Нужно отметить сразу идеальную чистоту всей (!) кухонной утвари! Но у отеля просьба - каждый постоялец после пользования посудой должен ее вымыть за собой. Посередине столовой стоит большой деревянный стол и удобные стулья. Повторюсь, интерьер очень уютный, домашний: над столом висят абажуры, обои нежного салатового цвета, повсюду милые аксессуары: стильные часы, картины, деревянные ложки-плошки на стенах, самовар на столе, старинные чемоданы, пианино и т.д. В отеле есть номера без удобств, без душа и туалета (они располагаются на этаже), а есть несколько с удобствами прямо в номере. Мы бронировали номер с удобствами и видом на канал Грибоедова и храм Спаса на Крови. Это была комната №15, на втором этаже отеля. На этаж ведет такая же стильная, как и весь остальной интерьер, лестница. На этом этаже также находятся номера, туалет и крытая терраса! Она просто потрясающая!!! Здесь можно как и отдыхать просто, сидя в плетеных креслах, так и завтракать, сидя на высоких барных стульях и наблюдая пейзаж за окнами - местный народ, туристов, канал Грибоедова и храм. В номере с удобствами стоит 2х ярусная кровать, деревянная. Ничего не скрипит, матрасы и постельные принадлежности чистые, удобные. Спать очень уютно. Нижний ярус кровати рассчитан на 2х человек, верхний - на одного. То есть в номере спокойно разместятся 3 взрослых. Кроме того, нижний ярус с довольно широким, полноценным 2х местным матрасом. Удобно размещаются 2 человека, не стесняя друг друга. Также в номере есть стол с настольной лампой, 2 стула, шкаф с вешалками-плечиками. В ванной комнате - душ и сам туалет. Из умывальных принадлежностей только жидкое мыло возле раковины. Отдельно отмечу в комнате низкий и широкий подоконник! Окно своим видом прямо выходит на крыши соседних домов, опять же на канал Грибоедова и на Храм Спаса на Крови. Великолепный вид!!! Можно на подоконник кинуть подушки или одеяло, пить чай/кофе и наслаждаться Питером. Администраторы на ресепшн очень доброжелательны,

To the palace area 15-20 min on foot. The price for the center is moderate. The room is clean. Very comfortable mattress and pillow, good underwear. In the bathroom not only shower gel, soap, shampoo, but even razor and toothbrush. For number 5 towels, machroy cloths. The windows we had come out on Lithium-for someone might be noisy. On the floor there is a cooler with cold water, microwave, in the room a refrigerator, TV, condiments. You can order breakfast (at the eve of 9 p.m.). Breakfast is so for yourself, but you can eat. Around the road a yulous with coffee and fresh baking, next to (practically next door) a 24-hour shaver, by the way, very decent. Very virtuous staff, which was pleasant. The waitress is not visible, but clean well and when you are not a room(no one has broken) apparently as a way to track, but if necessary, on the recipe you can always find a staff member who will help solve the problems. Wishing-more hooks in the bathroom-2 is small and would like more rosettes, although we have issued a 4-rod extension on request and the problem has been solved. The hotel was very enjoyed. I will stop here only on the next trip

Specify in advance how to get in, it may not work for the first time. The hotel is on the first floor of the residential house. Restaurant is not available, breakfast is brought to the room. The time and menu is agreed every evening the next day. It would be convenient to place a couler in the corridor so that not to call the administrator every time to bring the boiler. WiFi signal is good. Stopped for 5 nights. The declared bottled water was brought only for the third day (?). Cleaning is reduced to the removal of garbage, qualitative, was once during this time. In general we liked it, but certainly the hotel has something to improve.

Окна номеров во двор открывать нельзя - там навалено штукатурки толстым слоем. Покрасят - будет красиво. В парадной тоже строительный мусор. Ремонт предположительно до конца августа 2021. Но об этом не предупредили, хотя перед заездом общались с администратором. Если кому-то не принципиально, нет аллергии на строительные материалы - отличная локация. Но считаю, за такие неудобства цену можно было бы снизить и предупреждать заранее. Мы потеряли время и деньги, пришлось срочно в ночь искать другой вариант.

The hotel has satisfied our requests: 15 minutes walk from the Moscow station, 30 minutes walk to the Palace Square. Near the hotel bus stop. To the metro - 10 min. The room is spacious, the windows went out to the yard, the large bathroom, the air conditioner worked, the plumbing worked. There is a tea set and a very convenient round tea table with chairs, pleasant. The room is clean! Clean every day. The third day we changed towels. Bed linen clean! Soap, helmet, slippers were. Great breakfast, everything in business. My wife is a big man, was happy and didn't starve). It was necessary to climb the 5th floor, normal, healthy. I write so detailed as I was surprised by the negative feedback and the reasons in them specified. We traveled around the world, experience of staying in hotels is available. One shortcoming - failed mattresses on beds, not critical and we have not been sleeping. As a tourist for 4 nights-hotel recommend for accommodation !
