I am very satisfied with this accommodation. It has spacious windows with scenic views and excellent lighting. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there's a washer-dryer available. The room is modern and clean. The Tower of London and ferry terminal are right next door, and there's a bus stop nearby for visiting places like museums and other distant locations. Located in south Kensington and the circumstance is sooo nice, white architecture with excellent greenery. The room is clean and comfortable. You can also have some featured restaurants near the hotel. Actually I left my cloth in the closet of the hotel and I found that when I went back home. Room was comfortable and clean. Good water pressure and hot water in the shower. Had a slight problem with the parking payment (due a new system of clocking in on arrival to which I was not accustomed to), however this was sorted out by the reception staff. This hotel is a clean modern hotel which is well maintained. My wife and I stayed here twice, for 3 and 4 days respectively while touring the UK. The rooms were comfortable for sleeping, quiet and the air-conditioning worked well. The bathrooms were well designed and very clean. Housekeeping was fine. The major problem was that both of our rooms were very small and they had virtually no space for clothing. There was no usable drawer space and closets were tiny and had an inadequate number of hangers as well. If you are traveling for other than 1-2 days, there is no place to put anything. Living out of suitcases for 4 days or more does not add to the enjoyment of one's trip. The Breakfast is at best, just OK. There is a minimal amount of fresh fruit and while you can order off a hot breakfast menu, most things we ordered were not very good, so we stopped doing that. The Reception staff was marginally helpful. No one came to help us with our luggage. If you need a taxi or limo to take you to the airport, you are on your own. In addition, the front of the hotel is covered by bus stops so the taxi or limo has to try to find a place to pull us to load or unload. There are just a lot of annoying things about this hotel, some could be remedied, others probably not. For my next visit to London, I will not be staying here.From$124

The morning after our first night my friend and I noticed a bug crawling on one of the beds, we continued our investigation and noticed DOZENS of those crawling all over the twin beds we just spent the night in. We were exhausted the night before after coming back to hotel late and after having shower just jumped straight into beds - who would have thought we weren’t they only ones spending night in those beds! Quick research after our findings and we realised that those were BEDBUGS! Never in my life had I come across anything like this before, not even after being a student and staying at questionable hostels! We reported this to the reception and were offered another room. We didn’t move immediately in the morning and made an agreement that we would move in the evening when we would be back to the hotel. Coming back in the evening and reporting to the reception for a new room, we found one of the evening staff being rude to us and questioning if the bedbugs were from their hotel (like what?!?!?!?). Simple, we said, because we had photo and video evidence of bedbugs crawling all over the beds, we said! This quickly ended her argument with us. We then moved to our new room, where there was no obvious evidence of bedbug infestation, however being a reportedly new room, we found hair all over the floor in the bathroom of that allegedly “cleaned” new room. Unfortunately, being an extremely sensitive to cleanness person and following the events of the previous night, I decided to leave early and not spent another night in this disgusting hotel. My friend, who had a flight early next morning however had no chance and spend a little longer and left at 04am. The evening I decided to leave I started coming out in rash, which had only been getting worse ever since. The intensity of the itch is like nothing I’d ever experienced before - it stops me from sleeping, it drives me absolutely mad, no matter how much I try, one can’t look professional when they have bite marks all over their body, including the face, ears, neck, fingers, hands, forearms - ie areas one can’t cover up - and needing to constantly scratch herself! This obviously has affected my work! And the itch is no better even 6 days later!! In fact, the bite marks are now swollen, causing swelling of my fingers, the scratch marks are now bleeding and I am the most irritated I’ve ever been! Let me emphasise, this is six days later and I genuinely don’t know how much longer I’m yet to suffer! I have obviously filed a complaint and have been contacted by the hotel - they are “kindly” offering to compensate the cost of my medication (as I am now on antihistamines - which don’t work really, as I can’t take the stronger type due to its sedating effect, as I have to continue working and driving; as well as steroid cream) and the cost of my dry cleaning. HOWEVER, despite multiple email exchanges and telephone consultations, they are not planning to refund a 100% of our payment, the argument being From$83

The hotel was not too bad. In room 2303, where we stayed was lots of noises we didn't know where it was coming from. It was like we were in a boat with all the crecking and cracking noises. It was too expensive room for not being able to get a descent nice sleep. So, for that,we are not going back to this hotel again.From$177

Hotel location is excellent near to Underground to enjoy the subway . We check in 3 rooms but both my business partners was shocked . 1 room upon checking in there is someone sleeping inside the bed and another room upon checking in is not clean with the bed and towels still lying around . Understand it is the front desk mistake not sure why but they immediately change to 1 clean room and another 1 with a bigger room . Also they have given us free mini bar for the 3 nights so all is good . But still it was quite scary for them to check in in that situation . Stayed for 11 nights. Good hotel in a touristy location. Helpful concierge. The roasted chicken in Brasserie Joel is delicious (had it thrice over a week). The 3-tier American sharing plate at Primo Bar is pretty good and with good wine in the house.
Pity that housekeeping doesn't take pride in their work. After housekeeping services, found my clothes strewn on the floor and used towels thrown into the bathtub. Bed was hastily made up most times.From$232

We were struggling to work out our evening. We stopped at the St Germaine branded bar on Bishopsgate. We were greeted by Elpee. From the outset they made us feel welcome and went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable. They let us choose our seat, and set us up for what we expected to be a brief libation. My disabled partner and I were really impressed with Elpees attentiveness and quality of service. Being in London and disabled it can be a hard to navigate and aggressive environment. Our stop refreshed us, and made a it an exciting stop in our brief to the city. From$410

A little racist. As a traveler from the US on business, I'm very frequently the only Black person in the room. This was the case for a few days here at this hotel as well. One day it was raining and a lovely gentleman on front desk duty lended me a KK hotel umbrella as I went out. Upon returning, I thanked him and handed him the umbrella back but another woman was there. An Asian woman (if this helps mgt narrow it down). As I was walking to the elevator, she rapidly asked me my room number. Now, I just returned an umbrella so clearly I'm staying here, right? Maybe she was asking because she wanted to send champagne? Nope. That never happened.
She was racially profiling. I let her know I was in Room 303 but went back downstairs to address this with her to ask WHY she asked me that, but she had left her shift.
I started not to leave this review but I have to. If you're Black, I would stay somewhere else. As many of us know, this is never a good feeling.
P.S. KK Hotel, if you have audio on your cameras, check the evening of Tuesday, July 19, 2022 if you'd like to substantiate. And maybe partner with HR and invest in a little social awareness training. In case you didn't know, you have racists on your staff.SOLD OUT

Got upgraded to a family room with 2 queen beds which was a good start to the stay. However everything went downhill from there. The housekeeping only arranges the bed, didn’t refil body wash / clear bins unless the bin was full of rubbish. We wanted to do some laundry but the service was terrible. Bad communication among staff and resulted in paying almost 10 pounds per clothing. A good thing is that it’s about 3 mins away from Gloucester station and Sainsbury for daily things.From$114

Used car park at rear which was rather cramped. Room was a bit disappointing. Blind disabled to avoid view of adjacent building site so no natural light. Small and unable to open small wardrobe door fully as it hit the bed. Nice tea/coffee making facilities but limited coffee pods (no decaf even when requested). Bed comfy and all clean and pleasant. With a few tweaks could be 5star.

|1.34km from RichmondWe stayed here for our wedding, and were really quite underwhelmed. We had hoped to stay somewhere that felt somewhat luxurious, but the entire hotel feels quite outdated. While they can't control the heat, it's unfortunate that they don't have any air conditioning - it made it really challenging to sleep, so I would recommend staying somewhere else over the summer months. This was exacerbated by the fact the bed was extremely uncomfortable - there was either a bar across the mattress or a spring loose, but either way I couldn't get any sleep (not ideal the night before your wedding!) The breakfast food was not bad, although staff were slightly abrupt with us until they realised we were there for our wedding (at which point they did become far more friendly!). Our parents stayed with us at the hotel, and were similarly disappointed by the hotel - one was staying very near their events room and so was kept up by the noise coming from that. The drinks in the bar are extremely expensive, even when you take into account the location. It's also a shame that the upstairs & outdoor area that looks out onto the river is for private party use only. It means that when it's a nice day and you'd like to sit outside for a drink, there are only 2 tables at the side of the hotel overlooking the carpark - not particularly joyous! Check out was also a bit of a nightmare - after a certain time in the morning the doors automatically lock you out (which we discovered while going to the car to pack up). You then need to queue at reception to get this undone so you can get back into your room, which unsurprisingly at check out time is quite frustrating. Overall, not what we expected for the price. It's a massive shame because the property is beautiful and in an incredible location and they have so much potential to make this spectacular with some care and investment.

It’s in a quite residential street that is unlimited waiting so it was strangely easy to find a space. There is a rear car park but this appears to be generally not available. I had a quick check in with rooms 1 and 2 appearing to be on the ground floor. My room was a double and had a lovely comfy bed. It was of some size and I had a good clear nights sleep. Very quiet area. Room was clean and had contemporary decoration with a little wear but nothing for me to be unhappy with. Had shower which was good constant hot water and smoke towels. Complimentary tray was very good. If you’re there on a Sunday the bar closes early at around 2030h (depending on how busy) and food finishes at 1900h. No breakfasts available on the Monday or Tuesdays as they are closed. This is made clear on booking and in the room. There’s a conservatory to the rear and a pleasant beer garden with efficient table service. The beer garden in the sun is a nice place to be. I loved it. I did have a surprise that (with service charge at 12.5%) a pint of draught Birra Moretti was £7.03. There food looked really good and if you’re a resident at hotel there’s a discount I think of 15 or 20%. The Sunday roasts looked very impressive. Overall a place I’d stay again. Slightly disappointed no breakfast or last opening on Sunday but that is made very clear on booking.

Staff all friendly, local pub atmosphere with a pleasant restaurant area. We had room 4 which is first floor and has the balcony. No lifts in this hotel. Comfy bed, the room furniture can be best described as `rustic`however it serves its purpose . The bathroom is modern with good shower. Its a 30 minute walk to Richmond its shops and pubs by the river, 15 mins walk to Kew village itself, also has a few pubs/restaurants. There is a bus which runs to Richmond and Kew. The down side to the hotel is also its location being under the flight path to Heathrow airport, they have landing gear down as they fly over. Planes were landing until 11pm and started again about 6am. Nothing much the hotel can do about that. Also being a pub there was noise from the outdoor clientele until midnite and this was midweek. So stay up late or take ear plugs.

But one thing is the location is not convenient that if you need to train station that you need to walk 10-15mins, and if you go to the London city centre approximately 45mins, so the tourism needs to focus on this point.

|2.87km from RichmondStayed here for 5 nights (Sep 17-22). Check in was the better part: easy and friendly front desk although no acknowledgment of being a Bonvoy member (not big deal). However, I forgot to ask, and they did not give me the WiFi code; more on that later. Room was fine upon entering. But then started to notice things: dead light bulb, dust on the nightstands, top of the desk with peeled skin (wear and tear), and of course the TV. Now that is something from the 1990s: a 30 inch old TV, grainy picture, and a very limited number of channel with only BBC and a couple showing very old movies from 1980s. You can only watch SkySports at the bar but not in the room. The next day I ended up taking a shower in a puddle as the tub did not drain well. I told the front desk and the staff who happened to be the manager took very good notes and said he’d have it fixed right away. Well, after coming back in the evening, I checked the tub and sure enough still clogged so went down to the front desk and another staff member (appeared very embarrassed) spent a few minutes and then offered to change the room. So, after about 30 min fiddling with the reservation system on their computer we moved into another room. For some odd reason my 5-day visit was done under two reservations: 4 days as one and the last day as another one. On the 4th day reception called to move me into a suite due to the 2nd reservation. I talked to the Front Desk staff and offered that staying at the same room for the same rate was fine. The junior staff agreed as the room was available and started processing but then ran into a problem on their computer system. He asked his manager for help and he promptly rushed by, summarily waved his hand, completely ignored my presence, mumbled something like “it can’t be done,” and walked away. The junior staff was clearly embarrassed and apologized and said he'd ask another hotel manager to keep me in the same room. I asked for the manager’s name (Lloyd) and said that his behavior was rude, not professional, and not that of somebody in the hospitality business. Lloyd showed up after the room situation was resolved and apologized for his behavior. Frankly, nobody needs drama, disrespect, and being treated like a nobody. After all, I was a paying guest and a long time Marriott member!! New room was a copy of the old room except the drain was not clogged. Then the next day I noticed the bathroom bulb was dead. Called the Front Desk from room, but nobody would pick up. Within a span of 30 min I called several times but nobody would pick up, so I walked down to report it to the Front Desk. Problem was solved next day. And now the WiFi: could not find the WiFi code so later called the Front Desk but again nobody would pick up. Another in person trip down to the Front Desk and asked why they wouldn’t pick up. Answer: oh, we didn’t see the phone ring!
