Singapore Changi Airport Region
First and foremost, pls take note to all booking this hotel STANDARD ROOMS HAVE NO FRIDGE (need to pay $30++ a night extra for a fridge!) AND THERE IS NO SWIMMING POOL WITHIN HOTEL PREMISES, ITS AT CSC ACCESSIBLE BY THEIR COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLE BUS ( I attached the shuttle bus schedule with my review for your reference purposes)
ALSO dont take 0421, super far from the lift takes 7-8min depending on walking pace to get there try getting the 08-10 series instead its just nice in the middle,4-5 min walk from lobby...
Checked in early thanks to a night duty manager I spoke to (Rahul or Rainu sorry if I got ur name wrong) who helped on the 14th with Khairil the supposed Front Office Manager (His service was subpar and a tad cold unwelcoming, kept INSISTING on my giving a deposit of $200 for my stay even though I wanted to pay cash as and when I consumed anything at the hotel) 1st time being forced to pay a deposit in all my travels and all so CHANGI COVE PLS DO SOMETHING BOUT THIS, NOT ALL CUSTOMERS WOULD CARRY SO MUCH CASH AROUND!) Had to go to an ATM at Tampines to get money out as I was holding a debit card, such a drag, anyway did put in a request for a fridge if possible but that was declined.. I legit have never stayed in any Singapore hotel without a fridge so TBH paying $130-$150 a night Id expect at least a fridge in any case was shut down daily and NO FRIDGE was given.. I was staying for 5 nights so thought hotel would be kind to provide at least that since I legit didnt know bout this NO FRIDGE IN STANDARD ROOM thing...
THANKFULLY, the FNB Team were awesome esp RITZ (He was exceptionally friendly and to be honest some of the Front office team could take a lesson from the FNB Team bout welcoming, friendly service), LIPING AND RYAN WHO HELPED ME THROUGHOUT MY entire 6 days stay to store so many bottles of water and random stuff, felt really bad to trouble them but what to do no fridge in the room.
Room was fine decent enough loved the egg chair swing in the room but Aircon wasnt working properly during the stay which was kinda tedious to deal with coz it worked on and off,eventually housekeeping lent me a fan which helped a whole lot!
Special thanks to Sierra as well from Front Office and her long haired supervisor (sorry forgot your name) for their empathetic, kind service despite certain hiccups and attitude from some of their Front Office team...
Lastly thanks to the people I mentioned who made my stay enjoyable even though the checkin was not really a good experience, coz of that U guys got 4 stars instead of 2 stars that I wanted to give. See you guys again!
