Only real complaint is the front desk attendant Steve. Being the only person in line while the other clerk was helping a customer in-front of me instead of helping me check in he decided it was more important to run around talk poorly of his other co-workers and do busy work. While waiting patiently he finally greeted me after standing there for 20 minutes that he would “be with me soon”. After waiting another 10-15 minutes he was ready to “help me” if you would even call it that. He started the check in process couldn’t remember my name after he asked three times what the reservation name was under walked off twice without saying anything and then would come back and ask the same questions finally the second time the front desk manager stepped in and finished the process as well as offering two free drinks I’m sure because she could see the frustration in my face. Was a horrible start. Although Steve ruined the beginning of the stay the hotel and amenities and rest of the staff were amazing, so friendly and on top of things. Loved the location and set up of the hotel!

Sirata staff were so friendly, we loved the bicycles to ride around, the rooms were clean and the amenities were great. We only stayed 3 days but from what we saw the entertainment was fun. Good tio

We have been going to the Don CeSar for 15 years. We like to refer to this as “our place“. We absolutely love it. The beach is not crowded and the beauty of the Pink Palace is unmatched. We have noticed over the years that some things have changed for the better, and some things for the worse, but overall, the  integrity of the Don has remained intact. Highly recommend!

Checked in at 350 and the room wasn’t ready.  I asked the lady if she was sure it wasn’t ready. We ended up going to the beach until room was ready. At 400 the room was ready, when we had already gone to the beach.  Had to go back to the lobby and waited a while in line to get room key. They gave us late check out for noon time the next day. Fast forward the next day, housekeeping started knocking on our door at 9am. They wanted to know when we were leaving. I told them not yet.  At 10am they came around again, checking to see if we had left. Didnt give me a chance to speak to the lady since she was In a rush. At 11am once again they came around wanting to check if we had left. I told the housekeeper that we had late check out and to please stop rushing us to leave.  She apologized but at this point I was annoyed.  This location needs a lot of renovation, maintenance on the pool and re-training!

Perfect place for families or couples wanting to do lots of activities. The resort offers a variety of things. Similar to a cruise ship. Perfect location. Issues were the laundry not working on the ground level and the plumbing from the upstairs unit was horrifically loud. The neighbours like to shower at 5am, it wasn’t ideal. Air con was super loud, bed was broken and the groundskeeper likes to use his petrol powered blower at 8am too. It was a fun place to be though.

Location is great, within a few blocks there's a gas station kind of store that closes at 11 pm. There's also a bar called Riptide that runs pretty late. Around half a mile out, there's more stores like McDonalds or Waffle House for quick bites. The owners are extremely nice and friendly. My only complaint is that the hotel rooms used keys not electronic key cards, so I'm not sure if that would pose a security issue. There's also shutter blinds as opposed to curtains, so I felt like people could easily look in while I'm sleeping.

LAUNDRYThere is NO washer or dryer in the condo or the complex. You will need to go to a laundromat. The nearest laundromat is approximately 4 miles away.TRANSPORTATIONCar is not needed if you enjoy walking. If you want to explore further out of the area, a car is recommended, and of course there are Uber and Lyft.PARKINGThe Friendly Native requires we get the make and model of your car along with the license plate number and state of the license plate to link to the parking pass. They only allow one car. If you need more than one parking space, there is hourly metered parking around the building that is enforced from 8:00am-8:00pm There are limited metered spaces though. From 8:00pm-8:00am the metered parking spaces are free.During peak vacation times parking can be very hard to find. Beachgoers from around the area have been known to park in our non metered spots. They will get ticketed but not towed.HEATED POOL - NO HOT TUBThe outdoor heated pool is available to all Friendly Native owners and guests. There is no lock on the door. It will close in the evening and re-open mid-morning.PATIOFriendly Native rules say the patio outside our sliding glass door is for anyone's use. So far, the condo next door is the only one who has used it besides us. SHOPS/FOODThere are plenty of good places, within walking distance, to eat and get souvenirs. You are welcome to get groceries to have at the condo.CONDO AMENITIESWe try to have the basic amenities people will need. Place is newly renovated more the most part. The ⁰bathrooms are all redone with tile I would say fairly well done. These bathrooms are small and tight fit. If you are larger or an older person with decreased mobility this may be a little tough to utilize..The place overall I felt was fairly clean. There is a nice little pool in the middle and a pavilion with picnic tables.and a grill which you pay for with the resort fee whether you use it or not. Keep in mind when staying here you are at the wider section of the beach. Its 900 plus feet to the water on sand. It can be a hike if your older, decreased mobility or drink heavy 🤣. The view is beautiful tho I can't lie. If you drive a wide vehicle you most likely will not be able to park oit back which is the convenient method.

Only real complaint is the front desk attendant Steve. Being the only person in line while the other clerk was helping a customer in-front of me instead of helping me check in he decided it was more important to run around talk poorly of his other co-workers and do busy work. While waiting patiently he finally greeted me after standing there for 20 minutes that he would “be with me soon”. After waiting another 10-15 minutes he was ready to “help me” if you would even call it that. He started the check in process couldn’t remember my name after he asked three times what the reservation name was under walked off twice without saying anything and then would come back and ask the same questions finally the second time the front desk manager stepped in and finished the process as well as offering two free drinks I’m sure because she could see the frustration in my face. Was a horrible start. Although Steve ruined the beginning of the stay the hotel and amenities and rest of the staff were amazing, so friendly and on top of things. Loved the location and set up of the hotel!

Loved our stay here, we booked some other place as we arrived in to town 1 day and they didn't have space but the other place was awful. Sirata staff were so friendly, we loved the bicycles to ride around, the rooms were clean and the amenities were great. We only stayed 3 days but from what we saw the entertainment was fun. Good tio

We have noticed over the years that some things have changed for the better, and some things for the worse, but overall, the  integrity of the Don has remained intact. Highly recommend!

This was such a fabulous place to stay! Only regret is that we found t stay longer. Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Beautiful location. Beach access was brilliant. Pool and hot tub were amazing. You have to visit Tasha at the pool bar. She’s an absolute gem of a person and bartender. Highly recommend this place. We look forward to staying here again.

Location is great, within a few blocks there's a gas station kind of store that closes at 11 pm. There's also a bar called Riptide that runs pretty late. Around half a mile out, there's more stores like McDonalds or Waffle House for quick bites. The owners are extremely nice and friendly. My only complaint is that the hotel rooms used keys not electronic key cards, so I'm not sure if that would pose a security issue. There's also shutter blinds as opposed to curtains, so I felt like people could easily look in while I'm sleeping.

Perfect place for families or couples wanting to do lots of activities. The resort offers a variety of things. Similar to a cruise ship. Perfect location. Issues were the laundry not working on the ground level and the plumbing from the upstairs unit was horrifically loud. The neighbours like to shower at 5am, it wasn’t ideal. Air con was super loud, bed was broken and the groundskeeper likes to use his petrol powered blower at 8am too. It was a fun place to be though.
