I encountered the loveliest staff ever. They were all so friendly and helpful form checking in, recommendations for tourist areas, restaurants, street food and travel. They had full knowledge of local and touristy areas, and always went the extra mile, and made sure I had the right directions there and back. The main receptionist, Yeosong, speaks English, Korean and Chinese, I was impressed and felt even better after she remained in contact with me until my departure since I had roaming service issues. I was blown away by their hospitality and making you feel comfortable, a great first impression. It's a cozy hostel and cafe, so I felt nice to even sit and talk with the staff and being so attentive towards everyone. The manager is great and also involved in everything, you can tell they're all a great team.
The hostel is very close to the city center, if not down the corner. The facilities are very clean and was constantly checked up on. Seoul Cube is a really nice place to stay, if not the best place to stay, especially in Itaewon. The breakfast is really good, and they had a variety at that, from sandwiches, to eggs and toast with water or coffee. They play movies in the evening in the cafe area, which everyone can just sit and enjoy, a plus because I got to meet so many people.
I also liked that there's doors that require passcodes in order to access the hostel, your area and the room you're staying in. It made me feel extra safe and more privacy within the hostel.Breakfast

In the middle of Hongdae‘s nightlife, you are close to the action. Can be a bit loud on weekends, and I recommend getting rooms further from the bathroom to sleep in peace. Very close to a lot of cool vintage shops, small restaurants, bars and awesome cafés. Staff was nice and spoke English!Breakfast

This time I stayed at the homestay in J tower
About 5 minutes away from Exit 3
There are many shops along the way (olive young. Starbucks. etude house. clothing store, etc.)
Moreover, there are supermarkets and many food stores nearby, as well as a lot of photo sticker machines, which is very convenient!
Staying in a single suite this time is enough for one person
The 26-inch luggage can also be fully opened, and there is also a TV, bathroom, and air cooler
There is also a kitchen outside where you can use induction cooker, microwave oven, water dispenser (with paper cups), washing machine, etc.
Self-serve towels and toilet paper
There are also tableware in the upper cabinet
But the only downside is that there is no toothpaste, I don't know if I didn't find it or what

Overall it was a nice stay. For the first two nights our room was very cold and the air conditioner would not let us manually adjust the temperature and we asked for a staff to come and fix the air conditioner, however he couldn't speak English and was not helpful for giving us a small heater while it was cold in Seoul for the period. The front desk staff saved the whole experience by offering another room since we couldn't stand the coldness (the new room was surprisingly more spacious!) and she could speak fluent English which gave us a great help!
They did not have a stable supply of washroom amenities. Also, you will need to request from the Front Desk if you need mugs instead of paper cups in the rooms.
The location of the Hotel is convenient since it's a 10-15min walk to the tourist spot of Myeong Dong and subway stations are just nearby within a 5min walk. There's also a convenient store at the Lobby if you don't want to leave the Hotel for quick snacks.
Can consider staying again next time since it's also reachable by airport limousine!From$100

Hotel was 5mins walk from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Exit 12. You can use the lift at Exit 12 (first photo), to/from Level B2 & 1 as the 4 escalators leading up to street level do not work. The room has everything you need, it’s very clean and new (beds and pillows were good ＞＞ didn’t give any backache 😂), with a very convenient water and ice dispenser in the walkway. On top of that, the room has free 2 bottles of mineral water everyday. There are many convenient stores around the hotel. You can have your tax refund done at DOOTA Mall near the hotel so you don’t have to queue at the airport to get your $ back before your departure. Myeongdong Street (at Lotte Young Plaza stop) was also about 10 mins bus ride to the hotel with 5 buses running on the same route. Would recommend staying at this hotel again! The locker for luggage storage (last photo - it fits a L size luggage) was really an advantage - you could dump your luggage before and after your check-in! Finally, airport bus 6001 to the airport is right outside the hotel - prepare 2 hours journey for road traffic conditions near Seoul station enroute to airport.From$75

I highy recommend this hotel as next to line 5 station, airport bus stop, 3 BIG shopping centres, 4 convenience stalls! Very good location with train lines as well as 24 hours eateries (like LA Bab) in the opposite street & nearby local market. The room slightly smaller but go with marriot management so can feel the 4/5 stars vibes! The train sounds are soft that i can sleep even we are staying low floors! The staffs are wonderful to help us call our driver and try to make our special request met. Very secure, clean and even a microwave at Level 3! I would love to go back again for my next trip. Duco, Sean & another of their colleague who can speal good english are wonderful to assist us but don't know how I can give them a compliment to Marriot!From$97

an environmentally friendly hotel, so bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, etc. However, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and water dispenser are available. be prepared for some waiting for the lifts even though there are 3 in operation. the lobby is in the 4th floor whereas the hotel entrance is on the ground level. the hotel is very clean and the housekeeper is friendly. the location is superb with the airport bus, subway station and eateries within 5 mins walk. very near to Namdaemon, Myeongdong and Dongdaemon.

Room had a fantastic view. Hotel was clean, everyone spoke English, checkin was 1500 but they will hold your bags before checkin for free.
Breakfast had mostly traditional Korean options (kimchi, corn soup, curry, rice, French fries, tiny sausages, beans, beef bean sprout story fry, fried tofu) but there was toast and cereal. It was 10,000 won.
Room amenities had soap, shampoo but no conditioner or washcloth. They have a hairdryer in the room and two free water bottles of water in the hidden mini-fridge, and two bags of green tea. Room had slippers but no robe or pajamas.From$37

From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted by an incredibly gorgeous hotel. Everything is beautifully designed from the lobby to the rooms. The rooms have all the necessary amenities to make it your home away from home, including amazing Malin + Goetz toiletries. Do note that they do not provide toothbrushes or razors for sustainability reasons but I do believe you can purchase them.
But best of all is the service! I arrived at the hotel around 11 am and the receptionist was kind enough to let me check-in early with no extra charge, which was much appreciated.
The location is not too bad too - short walks to the nearest metro line but the weather was kind to me during the trip so definitely take note of this if it's in the frigid winter or blazing summer.
Overall, had a great stay and it was truly a regret of mine to have not been able to stay much longer to enjoy the other facilities like the pool and gym. But best believe, I'll be back!From$184

This hotel was fine for my needs. I was out of the hotel most of the day, so it was just a place to sleep. This was my first time to Seoul so I didn’t know what to expect. The hotel staff was really kind, spoke English well, and answered a lot of my questions, they gave a great recommendation for a very local breakfast restaurant nearby. It was clean, aside from some of the grouting in the shower and one of the coffee mugs in the room was not cleaned well. The towels need an upgrade. The bed isn’t super soft. The room itself almost felt like a private university dorm room. There’s a mini fridge, a kettle, and a place to hang some clothes. There is a coffee shop and bakery directly downstairs and the metro is right around the corner, so the location was incredibly convenient. Overall, I think it’s an average hotel suitable for a traveler on a budget if you’re not spending a lot of time in the hotel. The staff was great!From$79

the location and facility condition was great, however, i think the service attitude was not so great. I think they are not 'fully open' yet, rather 'soft open'. for example, they wouldn't accommodate ice nor additional chair for the room. The service staff on the phone and check in are very abrupt. For example, before we made the booking, we called the hotel to inquire, the staff told us that the superior double room cannot accommodate 3 person, therefore we booked 2 rooms.
However when we arrived, we checked into a superior deluxe room with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. It was exactly what we needed. We didn't need the extra room we booked after all.
The room and bed is worn out and very basic. Even though the room smells old and stale, the room was generally clean.
Overall the hotel is in an excellent location near the subway and myeongdong street. Good for non-fussy tourists who won't be spending much time in the room.From$71

Everything was perfect to us. We did travel via mass transit like airport bus and MRT. There is airport bus stop in fron of the hotel and also two MRT interchange stations in the distance.
Room was spacious for small families like us. Design was a bit old, but all the facilities were well maintained. Wifi and Internet TV signal were strong.
There is CVS like emart24 on the ground floor, that open til late at night.

Some pros: conveniently located near several subway stations and lines. Service was quite good with clean rooms, cleaned everyday. The self-check in and self-checkout was really great. There was a nice view from our room, overlooking Namsan and Seoul Tower.
Cons: had some issues getting the electric outlets to allow electricity to flow and the water pressure from the shower was very light, making it hard to take a shower in a timely manner. Overall, not bad but there are better options around Dongdaemun for a similar price.From$65

When checking in, I asked if there was a disposable sponge, and they said they would bring it up to the room, so I told them that if they didn't, I would come down and get it. (It was okay if it wasn't there. I just asked if it was there.) Hotel is superb as it is in the middle of 3 mrt stations. All are walkable distance, airport shuttle bus is right outside the hotel in front of another hotel which is PJ Hotel exit. Front staff answers to all your queries and have free shuttle bus to hotspots. Was worried at first based on reviews that says walls are thin, but overall good and will go back again. Amenities was 4/5 stars as the fridge is hidden in the cupboard which overheat quite a little.From$92

The location of the hotel is its main selling point. It is right where the action is. The employees are friendly, polite and very helpful. Service is premium. With the above, I would definitely recommend this place!

Old man at the reception was rigid in acceding to requests and all of sudden, there was some digging of the ground right in front of the hotel on the first night. Convenient location and clean room. The hotel has history, but the bed is not old but comfy. Loved the wooden floor and I guess there is a heating system underneath the floor. It says it’s a 4-star hotel but refreshment choices were limited (only tea drip coffee bags). Room-service is not available, but that didn’t affect our mood of stay. It’s environmentally friendly that snacks and individual shampoo sets are not provided. Would definitely come again!From$96

The location of the hotel are great, nearby MyeongDong night market around 5 mins walking distance from metro stations MyeongDong Exit 9 and Chungmuro Exit 5..
For those who travel with big luggage, advise to use Chungmuro Exit 5 to go to hotel due to shorter walking distance and with escalators to carry luggage, as MyeongDong station don’t have lift and escalators ya..
Hotel facilities meet all the requirements , staff are multilingual, coin laundry are available at B2 , process of check in and out are fast and easy..
Hotel also able to help us order taxi to airport, price may refer to the picture..
Overall very satisfied with this stay, with the price we pay we can more than we expected.
Definitely will visit this hotel again 😊

The walk from seoul station is not that near. Quite a long walk with direct underpass but flat surface. Take note the underpass only 6am-11pm only. Room was huge for 1 pax, you can even open 2 big luggages on the floor. Had the first guest floor which is on 20th floor, which is quite high already. Room was clean and pillow was soft. We had a suite that was smaller than most normal rooms at other Marriott properties (especially autograph tier) akin to staying in a New York or Hong Kong hotel. I have had the pleasure of staying at many different four seasons locations, however Four Seasons Seoul was and is by far my favorite. I flew in from the US and requested a car to pick me up at the airport in Seoul and staff was waiting for me outside when I arrived. They pre checked me in since I was traveling internationally and had arranged for me to go directly to the room. The staff was thoughtful and continued to add personal touches the entire stay. The majority of the staff is multi lingual and helped to helped to arrange transportation and exterior details of my activities and appointments. Booked a king classic room with lounge access to celebrate wedding anniversary. Received complimentary red wine. Room is well maintained but design looks tired and dated.
Luckily the club lounge is exceptional. Afternoon tea is served from 3pm to 5pm. Evening canapés from 5.30pm to 8pm. Food quality is good and staffs are friendly.
I would strongly recommend to get room with lounge benefits else the dated room design doesn't justify its price tag.From$273

Overall not a very pleasant stay.
From a well established 5 star hotel, I expected a lot more. Understandingly it was a public holiday with huge amount of local crowds.
However, the service was honestly lackluster to say the least. The frustration came early on where lift coordination was horrible. From our 5th floor down to the lobby we had to wait close to 45 minutes to even squeeze into a lift. Given that everyone was rushing to use the pool, the hotel should have a system where certain lifts served only the high floors and some only the lower floors . Rather than all lifts going to the top coming down where lower level guests had no chance on getting in the elevators
Not only that, upon asking for a bucket of ice, some wine glasses, we were surprised that all of these incurred extra charges. Which they did inform us so we agreed. But the unacceptable one was asking for mere cutleries, we were charged based on per pax basis unless we ordered room service, which was just ridiculous.
If you'd ask me if I'd stay again, I'd honestly say no. Having stayed in Hyatts around the world. I can honestly say this is the worst experience I've had with any Hyatt From$323

The housekeeping attendant is meticulous, with high attention to details in her work and keep the room clean to the highest standard, never seen this in any of the other top rated hotels. From an hotel claimed as 5 stars I'd expect far better organisation and service.
Starting from breakfast, I've never waited in line to get to breakfast's room but this time! And line was long!
Of course during these days big crowd was expected, but that's not excuse to me.
The staff was nice but simply not enough or not prepared to deal with the amount of guests; seats were available but tables weren't tidied up on time and ready for the guests.
Amenities like the pool were unusable due to amount of guests. Pool overcrowded and locker room minimal with no seats, unless you use the sauna area with extra cost. All families that weren't interested in sauna had to deal with children with only 2 showers each for male and female areas, standing changing, with no hairdryer, and small towels.
After the room service complimentary water wasn't replaced every day, as well as used bathrobe and slippers.
They're all things we can live without, but as said, we're talking about 5 stars hotel, and the money spent for that!From$141

I had a really cozy and comfortable stay.
It was very classic from the entrance, so it was very cool.
The room is also classically set up, and it was great to have a separate table to work on and a table to enjoy refreshments.
The bed was also neat and tidy, and it was cozy and fluffy.
The hotel lounge was decorated like a resort, like being in Europe, so I felt comfortable and like I was on vacation.
If I had to pick one thing that was really disappointing, it was that the water pressure in the shower was a little disappointing.
Other than that, it was a really neat and comfortable hotel, and it was nice.
The location was also close to Yeonhui/Yeonnam/Mangwon/Hapjeong, and it was also close to Gyeongbokgung Palace, so the location was very good.
It was a hotel that I thought would be nice to stay again if I had a chance :)From$126
