The first time I met, more than 1,300 nights, I would give this kind of thing. I ordered two bottles of Coke at dinner, and I had more than 20 yuan in total. I chased after the money and told him that he had not finished eating it, and he came again later. Very cold at night, a small electric heater, it doesn't work at all.

Nuwara Eliya provides nice cool weather to relax and this hotel provides anything else you need: most comfortable beds in Sri Lanka, great bathroom with the best products I’ve used during my trip, great service, nice outside area and walking distance to Lake Gregory or some nice restaurants (especially if you’re longing for a nice Italian pizza after weeks of curry for breakfast and dinner 😉). Definitely recommending this place to stay! (They also organize trips, drivers and TukTuks for you. You just need to ask.)

|32.5km from city centerHonestly this is the best hotel in the area in every aspects. Highly recommend for those who are planning to hike/worship Sri Padaya mountain. Rooms were neat, tidy, spacious and having a balcony with amazing view of the sacred mountain. Also all sufficient basic amenities there for a comfortable stay. We have faced a little uncomfortable situation due to couple of limit crossed drunken guys in bar. But it was not a fault of the hotel neither staff. Staff was super amazing and did they best to make our stay comfortable. Have to mention that Mr. Mano made our stay so remarkable. Special credit goes to Mr. Mano and the team. Foods were really delicious and proper hygienic conditions were well maintained! Gave a 5 stars specially because of the hospitality!! Cheers!!

I lived for two days and drink the sea food soup every day. It was delicious and the room was especially clean. It was obvious that it was an old house, but it was really clean and it was very cheap. We two people, the appetizer, the soup, the staple food, and ate 155. The service is so good, the butler is very polite and gentle. Breakfast needs to be selected the night before. The butler also asked us if we need the menu of the main building there. He can get it back in 5 minutes, but I chose to eat here because I want to drink sea food soup. I will come out and ask what is the taste, delicious, really. I really like this place, quiet and fresh. Because I had to get up early in the Horton Plain, I told the butler the first day to take breakfast. It’s a great place to take a lot of photos, but unfortunately only 9 photos.

I have contacted them two weeks before the visit and asked them whether we can celebrate our daughters birthday and take breakfast and lunch. They agreed and kept contacts by email and phone calls untill we leave the place. We requested pure vegetarian and non veg meals together and they arranged it well beyond our expected level.. very helpful and understanding staff.

|5.5km from city centerThe environment is really very good. The villa is located in a small village on the hill. It is very quiet and the locals are super and kind. A minute or two from the hotel, there is a green area overlooking the entire lake, a superb view. The hotel is large, with a large yard at the back, sitting in the yard and watching the children playing and drinking coffee there, really comfortable. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, otherwise the scenery here is so good that it is worth living for a whole day. The only thing that spits out is the road to and from the hotel. It is too scary, one-way street, mountain path, no street light. Fortunately, our driver is very professional and recognizes the road.

|4.53km from city centerWe went there on 8 July 2022. We were the only guest in the hotel apparently. The hotel was hard to find as no proper signs guide the directions. Eventually we got there. On arrival we were told that only cash payment could be accepted, this we found rather strange as there were 2 Credit card machine present. The staff hardly spoke English though as it was becoming dark we decided to have diner in the restaurant. Please see the photo on the poor diner at the CheRiz. As said the staff hardly spoke English and by insisting and insisting we got half of what we wanted. The WIFI was not working at all until we found out that it was only working in the lobby area. After diner we went to our room and all lights were turned off in the main lobby area, so it was scary to sit down in the lobby where the Internet worked more likely than in our room. In the morning we had breakfast with some French fried and eggs. Please see photo, rather poor I would say. We were told that the owner was from New Zealand and he just left for New Zealand. On the check out we insisted to pay by CC but that was not possible the said. On top of that we could not receive a proper invoice. Only after insisting and insisting and trying, the credit card payment succeeded. Unfortunately we forgot a power bank in the room Elgin, our driver called the hotel and it was found in the room. Good news. A few hours later we had made a plan, without waisting petrol, to receive our power bank back. Therefore the hotel was called again with our recovery plan. We were told there was no power bank found at all. We were told to check our bagage better as there was no power bank in the hotel. The manager told us that she had asked the staff again and no power bank was found. So apart from trying to get cash instead of a genuine traceable credit card we were treated badly on the discovery of our power bank. Therefore for us this is not a trustworthy hotel. Avoid in all instances !

The 6 course meal was good. The service was excellent. The property itself is a wonder and has so much aroma to it with its multiple parks and events that take place.
The spice tea offered as welcome drink was something I have never tasted before and was excellent.

In the afternoon, I felt a bit cold.
The English-style manor looks quite good overall, but it is estimated to be old and the rooms are average. Although warm, it is not good.
The dining experience is good, but the service charge is quite expensive. Dinner is a la carte and shows. I also sing a lot of Chinese songs ...

I stopped the car upon seeing this restaurant, but I was not sure whether the food will be okay. We ordered Butter Naan, Paneer Manchuriyan, Sea food Fried Rice along with Paneer 65. The person who served me recommended that I should not order two Naans as one will be enough for me. It was the DEEPIKA PADUKONE of all Butter Naans. The look - perfect shape and size, the smell, the warmth, the taste; I felt like it was tailor-made just for me. It was the BEST Butter Naan I had ever eaten. Not to mention the outstanding customer care; the boys always with gleaming smiles while serving. There was this pleasant Tamil boy who served me, the name of whom I forgot to ask because I was too distracted by the deliciousness of the food, THANK YOU my dear, for the warm welcome and making me feel like home. The Coffee and the Hot Chocolate were overwhelming in quantity, display and the taste and the ambience of the restaurant was also very warm and welcoming. I hope to visit you guys soon, as I cannot take my mind off the taste of that Butter Naan. Please pass my complements to the chef and the owner too !

Opposite the hotel is the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. |1.92km from city centerWhat a lovely hotel this is in a good area of Nuwara Eliya, away from the hubub of the busy city and not far from the Gregory Lake. We had a very comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated room, a very good meal in the restaurant and a nice breakfast. the staff was friendly and helpful. the only thing to note is that this hotel does not serve alcohol, so does not have a bar or serve wine with meals so if you are looking forward to your evening cocktail, you might be, as we were, a little disappointed.

The photos taken are absolutely literary. The boss is very warm and gentle, and the dinner is very beautiful. Unfortunately, I am not used to it, and I am almost wasted. The next day at 5:30 in the morning, I will go to Horton Plains and the hotel will help pack the breakfast. If the room requirements are not high, definitely recommend it here.

The rooms on top floor are the best but it could get bit noisy due to the road traffic right in front. The rooms underground’s are also spacious and definitely value for money. The food here is really good. Sri Lankan rice and curry is a must try. Dilpa and family owns this place and they were supper friendly and helpful. This surely will be our stay next time around
