We have returned to the Relais Castel Nuovo in Naples. If we were enchanted a year ago, both of the apartment and the good service provided by Antonio, this year we enjoyed the apartment with terrace views to the port, we could enjoy even more if this accommodation is appropriate. The apartment is modern and functional, with a large terrace covered with views of the port of Naples. All services work perfectly and Antonio is careful that everything is in order to avoid any problems.

It is good in the position and room, but if the double bed is made up of two single beds, so that you can sleep in the hole at night, both mattresses and coats were yellow-made. The bleeding is changed every 3 days, even if they have clear sleeves, the beds have never been replaced in the six-day stay. The bathroom is the real problem, the hygiene is completely absent, the shower has not only muffa but also clear dirt deposits, it should be thrown and refurbished. It was never cleaned in the days of stay, because I found my hair on a washing and bidet, and when you do the shower all floods and you are forced to dry with the towel provided as a shower down, One day I also found the soup towel in the bidet, and the water on the ground was not dried; the cleaning included only dust in the room and bed repair, one day it was made in my presence, at 14:00 p.m. when I returned from lunch. I understand that I have paid little, as the staff have justified, but at least hygiene conditions should be guaranteed.

There is no parking lot in the hotel itself, but there is a parking lot next to the hotel. There is an unlimited number of entrances and exits of 40 Euros a day, and the keys are handed over to the parking lot. The hotel is on the dockside, there are many restaurants around, and there are also Chinese restaurants, all within 100 meters. Can trampoline 25 euros, breakfast variety is not much, but the food is very good, the restaurant faces the egg castle and the sea, feels good, the waiter is polite

Stayed here mon to Fri , unsure why there was no previous recent reviews so thought I’d post one. Room 3 was lovely and clean with balcony going round and excellent air con with Netflix to watch on tele including in English along with various languages. The staff are lovely and communication via WhatsApp was excellent. However it’s opposite the docks and can get very loud with traffic. Our first night we didn’t feel very safe, but that’s naples for you. Breakfast was included. On first day we got freshly squeezed orange juice, with nice cappuccino and croissant, then none the rest of the stay. It is few mins walk away from the accommodation but we soon got our bearings. We did feel like it was like Fort Knox entering in and out with the unreliable lift under extreme heat. Next time I think we will stay in sorrento rather than naples city due to the surroundings. On the other hand, location was good and close to the ferry dock and metro station.

We were in this hotel two weeks ago, through the agency we had only booked the night, even because we didn't want to give up pastries, graphs, bladders, rhines, capresi and Paris. It was offered to take coffee even if we took it only the first day to not take advantage of it; it is a little old three stars, so you don't have to have too many claims. The room is open and there are no dressing or boards in the bathroom to support anything. One thing that has a little hurt me, but it is not the hotel's fault, it is the smell of smoke that was at some time felt in the corridors, but we were still satisfied. The location is excellent for visiting Naples, two steps from the Beverello mole, the Municipality, the Spanish Quartiers and the Plebiscito Square.

I’ll try to make this as constructive as possible, so I’ll start with the good. The property is located in a convenient location close to the Central Station, although the area around the station is a little dirty with some homeless people. When you get into the apartment, it’s clean and nicely decorated. The room was for 3 people and was pretty nice. Now for the downsides… When we arrived, the elevator was broken, so we had to suffer through carrying our luggage up 2 stories of stairs. Luckily, they apartment building was able to get the elevator fixed within a day or two of our arrival. Also, there were only sheets on the beds, no blankets. So that first night, we were cold. We later got blankets from housekeeping (housekeeping is only there for a few hours in the morning). There was no iron available, so if your clothes are wrinkled, you’re sh*t out of luck unless you brought your own. Communication was lacking. We ran out of toilet tissue and was told they would leave some at the front desk. They never did. We went 2 days without them restocking our toilet tissue. Luckily, we had wipes with us. They also never came to clean our room. The description for the room said “daily housekeeping” but I guess they just meant for the common areas. We were supposed to be provided with breakfast cards each day for the each of us (there were 3 of us in a room). We were only left one card one day. Never saw another card after that (this was brought up to the staff via WhatsApp and the cards still weren’t provided, just like the toilet tissue). Apparently, garbage gets collected around 1 in the morning. You can hear it loud and clear, at least from my room. There’s also a bell or something that goes off every morning at 7:30am. Again, you can hear it loud and clear from the room we were in. If you’re planning to stay in Naples for only a day or two, you might be ok with this place. Other than that, meh.

I stayed for 2 nights. It is on the main road, close to Centro Storico and the seaport. The room was spacious enough with a big window overlooking the main road, although no noise from the traffic could be heard if windows are closed. A/C was a bit noisy overnight. TV a bit small. No problem with the room, no cleanliness issues. I didn’t like the breakfast, but I think it’s the case with all hotels in Italy, so one has to accept it. Also the check in time before 10 o’clock is a bit too early. A lot of other hotels allow you at least 11 o’clock and some even 12 o’clock. Overall I had a good experience and can recommend this hotel, I would definitely stay there again.

Completely surpassed our expectations! We are used to also staying a lot in 5* hotels, but decided for something different while visiting Napoli. The hotel is located in the heart of the Spanish Quartier and therefore gives a totally different and more local experience compared to other hotels around. The entire staff is super nice and helped making our 3-night stay unforgettable. The little terrace, as part of the Junior Suite, gives the feeling of staying in a peaceful oasis in the middle of the chaos of Napoli. We even received our daily breakfast to our room! We were also really surprised by the shower: by far the best shower I’ve ever seen in a 3*, even 4* hotel!!! I never write reviews, but this one is worth it!

I was lucky to find this place while I was walking near the Duomo neighborhood. I expected it to be expensive, considering the area, but it was very affordable, and my room was huge and very clean. It’s in a stunning ancient building in a picturesque courtyard - with arches and stairs that almost look Roman! Lorenzo the owner is a young Neapolitan guy and super nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

There is also a kitchen available for guests, we have not used it but it is equipped with everything. As soon as you leave the door you will find restaurants, pastry shops, bars, etc. we will return to Naples because it is an enchanting city as well as the people who live it and we will certainly stay in this b&b. The accommodation is well located. Despite saying that it has a private bathroom, it was located outside the room and quite far away, an aspect that should have been communicated in advance... The accommodation says that it has breakfast, but it is served in a cafe (we also only found out about this fact after we arrived). The family room is small for 4 people and the single beds are uncomfortable. Furthermore, there was always good communication with management via WhatsApp).

The hotel is super centrally located in the old city centre an is 2 stops by subway away from the central train station. The airport bus stops about 8min walk away. Though the building does not look modern or presentable from the outside, the hotel which situated on the 4th floor is completely renovated and has a modern interior. The electric appliances (aircon, rainbow light in shower, kettle, hairdryer) were all working perfectly. The room's design was modernand stylish. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful as well as multilingual. I really enjoyed staying here!

Fantastic hotel!! We arrived last night at 22:00 and checking out this morning as we move onto Ischia. If all the negative reviewers did their research prior to booking this hotel then they would know it’s a stop off hotel rather than a long stay hotel. The taxi ride from the airport took all of 10mins and cost €20. Yes, the drive up is extremely “dodgy” and not somewhere where you would be walking alone at night. However, once inside it’s like a completely different place. Very clean, safe, modern with friendly staff. Our room was on the 14th floor and Premium, it was immaculate plus the shower/bathroom was great with a walk-in wet room. Shower pressure was bliss after travelling all day. Breakfast was fabulous, various pastries, cold meats and cheeses, fruit and yogurts. A typical Italian breakfast consists of a pastry and coffee, so I think their attempt at bacon eggs and beans etc to please that clientele was 10/10!

Very efficient location, you can find everything nearby. For sightseeing tours, Metro Line 1 is not far away. The population occupying the area is very African, but absolutely safe. Living on the street, so the street is always full of people. I read that there is an electric kettle in the room, but I had to ask for it and got a dirty electric kettle, like a dry fried egg. The receptionist told me it was rusty and it did not kill! Welcome to Naples! I cleaned it with baking soda. The dirt is good, but I am sure it is not rusty. However, this service is still not up to standard, even if it is warm and tolerant. You can bring pizza home anytime, even at 3 in the morning!

If I could give this place a negative star rating I would. Do NOT stay at this place. It is a scam. We booked through lastminute.com looking forward to a short city break to naples/pompeii and it turned out to be the worst 3 nights of my life. Our check-in information mentioned we could get our room at 11am so, as we had an early morniny flight, got to the hotel just after 11 expecting our room to be ready. We were told to give them an hour. We returned just after 12 and were told it was still not ready and were guided upstairs after a further 45 minutes of waiting the room was finally ready and we were relieved! BUT this is where the hell started. We were taken outside of the hotel casablanca reception area to a separate “hotel” a 5 minute walk away called hotel siri. The area was a building site and the room looked like a bedsit. I kid you not, at this place I believe I could have contracted hepatitis. Understandably we complained informing the hotel this is not what we had booked and were taken back to the reception to speak to the “director”. When we got to the reception area we were met with 2 hostile people refusing to speak in English to us informing that they now could not speak English when they were conversing with us only a short while earlier. They then moved us into a room in the main Hotel Casablanca. However, we did not feel safe staying in this hotel and had to spend valuable time during our holiday finding a new accommodation that we could relax in. We are still awaiting information from lastminute.com and the so-called hotel on a a refund. Which after the shambolic service/attitude, dishonesty, lies and deceit we encountered during our first few moments in naples, we believe is entitled. I emplore you - DO NOT book this hotel. You will get scammed just like we did. Lastminute.com YOU must do something to stop this from happening. I expect to be hearing from you again to correct this. What was meant to be a relaxing, fun break turned out to be 3 nights in HELL.

The room was large and the bathroom one of the biggest hotel bathrooms I've ever seen. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept well. The air conditioning worked very efficiently. Breakfast was very reasonable at €7 per person. The room was very quiet, and I heard no noise from within the premises or from the street outside when the window was closed. Renato was an excellent host and always willing to assist. He called a taxi to the airport when I checked out, which was there in 4 minutes and cost €20. The property is located in the first floor, but that was in no way an inconvenience, There is a lift (elevator) for people with a physical problem, or who simply don't like walking upstairs. It is a short walk to Via Tribunali, Via Duomo, Naples Underground and the cathedral. I walked everywhere in Naples, and it was not a problem. I highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of staying in Naples.

The location is a bit of distance from Museo station, especially if u carry luggage’s. It is uphill from the station. The B&B inside is very comfortable, so is the room. The breakfast does not have eggs, but the pastries are delicious. Many different varieties. The wifi somehow is slow and weak. The cell phone signal is weak as well. Overall, I have a good stay in this B&B

There is no problem that Valeria cannot solve. We arrived very late, about 2 .am., but her driver Alessandro picked us up with a smile. Valeria greeted us upon arrival. The zipper on our backpack broke, so Valeria gave us 2 giant safety pins and advice on where to get a new one. She always made sure we were headed out for our day's trip in the right direction. The day of our departure, it poured rain and we thought that was our biggest problem. Valeria informed us of a public transport strike so, at great effort, she managed to find us a taxi. Not easy as all Naples was doing the same thing. All this AND a splendid breakfast, spotlessly clean room, quiet street, lovely neighborhood. Apartment beautifully decorated.

Stayed two nights in May with a friend! Chosen based on the positive reviews which however do not reflect absolutely what we found! LOCATION: excellent, perfect for getting around Naples in all respects! STAFF: nice Now let's talk about everything else. Room compared to the photos shown on Booking and on trip much smaller and run down. The room was on two levels on the floor below there was a very uncomfortable sofa with a towel that I don't know how long it had been there! Under the mezzanine as a hanging decoration of fake grapes that would look pretty if it weren't full of dust! Soft bed and go well it flies over! Extremely small bathroom with a mat for when you get out of the shower so small and unsuitable that it was more dangerous than anything else! The shower with a giant step is a curtain that fixed absolutely nothing a 2x1.5 bathroom was completely flooded! Cartigenica present only 1 roll to be requested more if necessary I would say that at least two rolls left in the room would be useful since the staff is not always present! Few towels and terry shower towels, face and bidet towels (not present) made with recycled pillowcases !! Very small balcony from the photos it seemed super exploitable it is cramped alone! Change of sheets and towels on request but it is assumed that in the morning the room will be fixed at least a wet mat replaced or towels changed if left on the floor. The breakfast is not understood! I think only possibility of coffee and cappuccino, nothing else was offered to us. Good coffee, frozen brioches cooked every morning but still served too hot (it seems we were too early risers but if breakfast starts at 8.30 and I show up at 8.40 respect the times, right?) good puff pastry. Since the service is served by the staff, you expect that upon arrival you will be offered what was available or in any case that you will be provided with a basket with jams or various choices but in reality for everything you wanted you have to ask (it seemed almost disturbing) since I'm paying for a service I would also like the height! The entrance door should also be cleaned because it is sticky and full of hair to the touch! You understand that Naples and the Neapolitans are characteristic but having paid 150 euros for two nights I expect much more! I would not go back and would not recommend it as a choice!

Naples is the only city with high-rises on my trip to Italy. This Renaissance location is not bad. The subway is very close. It is also close to Newcastle, the town hall, and the port. There are several steps at the entrance of the hotel, there is no barrier-free access, and heavy boxes are more painful. Of course, if there is staff, they will help, but not always ... The breakfast environment of the hotel is good, overlooking Mount Vesuvius and the Mediterranean Sea. The variety is not particularly large but it is enough. There is an automatic muffin making, which looks very fun. The facilities of this hotel are slightly old and the bathroom has cracks, which is not comparable to that of a Mercure in Palermo. And the hotel does not provide bottled water, of course, there is a supermarket diagonally opposite, and shopping is very convenient.

Very nice hotel located along the water. Balconies face the waterfront with a couple chairs and a table on each balcony. Large, well-appointed rooms. Huge breakfast buffet with waitstaff available to get specialty coffee drinks made to order. Large hotel that often has conferences, so reception area can be very busy. Reception staff not very friendly, but breakfast staff were very helpful. Easy walk to restaurants.

Situated right on the main square when leaving the central station of Naples, this B&B hotel is the ideal place when you want to visit the town or have an overnight stay to travel onwards. The main metro lines into town and the trains to Pompei, the Vesuvius or the Amalfi coast, are all just across the square. It is situated on the 4th floor in a large building, with other similar small hotels and B&B's. Re Diego offers an easy self-check-in by following the instructions they send via Whatsapp, so you can arrive whenever you wish. The rooms, with sliding doors, are not the largest, but they are clean, airy and quite noise-proof. Our room overlooked the square and the station, with a view as far as the Vesuvius. The air-conditioning worked efficiently, which wasn't a luxury as despite traveling in October, the weather was still quite hot. The breakfast is on a pre-order basis: the evening before you make your selection and the next morning, it is served - by a very friendly staff - in your room. This system works like a charm, and it avoids the typical food waste from a buffet-style breakfast. One area of caution: the bathroom floor is about 10cm above the room floor, so be careful when stepping out as you might misstep and fall between the shower and the bed! Just like most neighbourhoods around a central station in large cities, the square is not the finest place to hang out. It seems a bit dodgy at night, but because the hotel is not situated in some dark alley, there shouldn't be any issues. Just take the normal precautions with your luggage, wallet and telephone - something that counts for all of Naples. And one last point: don't forget to close the inside doors of the elevator or it is blocked for anyone else to use. Nobody really likes to climb three flights of stairs with heavy luggage!

I was nervous that this wouldn't be a good experience. La Ciliegina hotel is located steps away from the Piazza Municipio and is a five-minute walk to the port. It is centrally located, being only two minutes from Via Toledo. Despite the bustle below, the room was deathly quiet and about as beautiful as you can expect in the heart of the city! La Ciliegina's entrance is a little tucked away and you take an elevator up to the lobby (a new experience for me, but the other hotel in Naples was the same). From that point, they deliver on everything promised: it is impeccably clean, modern, and comfortable. Although we had great weather, we didn't get the chance to spend much time on the terrace, but it was a nice touch. If you are looking for a hotel with a central location and easy access to transit options, this is your place. Recommended!

The hotel is generally average and relatively old. We booked a room with a harbor view. The area is small and the luggage is not easy to store. It does not match the picture. The restaurant on the top floor has mediocre products, but the scenery is very good. The strange thing is that when we dined in the hotel restaurant, the meal fee was charged to the room account. The hotel used our credit card to pre-authorize the meal fee of 116 euros in the middle of the night. Later, I asked Ctrip, and Ctrip said that the hotel was worried that our credit card limit was not enough when we checked in. Really Speechless, staying in a room worth hundreds of euros for one night, the hotel is actually worried that we can't afford the meal fee of 116 euros. If you just go to the ancient city of Pompeii, you can call a taxi back and forth at the entrance of the hotel, and wait in Pompeii for two hours at a cost of 100 Euros. It is best to ask a tour guide at the door to visit the ancient city of Pompeii. The tour guide here is very professional, and the explanation is detailed and serious. It costs 150 euros once, which is very worthwhile.
