1 Awataguchi Kachocho, Kyoto, Japan
"Japanese Annex "Kasuien", which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2020, was reopened on July 17. The layout of the ridges and copper shingle roofs across the undulating topography combine with the endless overlapping eaves to create a rhythmical space that leaves the visitor spellbound. Step through the impressively proportioned historical hinoki bark thatch gate into a haven of serenity where the noise and hubbub of everyday life seems worlds away. The influence of Togo Murano's "Japanese modernist" design aesthetic is clear to see. Togo Murano's design for Kasui-en, completed in 1959, includes a white sand courtyard garden inspired by the gardens of Daigoji Temple Sanbo-in in Kyoto. The distinctive gourd and cup shaped lawn features use the water that flows from the rock formation waterfall to represent sake flowing into a cup. A natural hot spring is drawn into the bath in each room to provide a luxurious and relaxing time and space, and relieve the weariness of your travel. Experience the unique wellness of The Westin Miyako Kyoto, where you can relax both physically and mentally."

"There are more broken pieces, and you can skip to the last sentence if you want to see the results directly. When I was a Raiders in the previous year, I was looking at the hotel. Later, because I was unable to make a trip because of pregnancy, I finally got my wish this year. The hotel is very close to Nijo Castle and is located in the residential area. It is very quiet during the day and night. There are not many restaurants around, but for the breakfast, we are keen on the convenience store and the rice ball is returned to the house every night. We are not bad. Ok, so pay more attention to it~ The hotel's service is very good. It will confirm the opening time of the attraction for us. We will rent a free umbrella with excellent quality. If we see the shoes dirty, we will take the initiative to help us wash the shoes and see the nails I made. Will praise the cute, really warm. We have set a breakfast for a few days in the house, the stove is burning, the fish that my husband eats, the beef I eat, is very good, I recommend that friends who are staying must try it. The responsible young lady will be very enthusiastic to tell you what the ingredients are, where they are made, which sauce is more delicious, etc. For our problems, even if the vocabulary is not enough, try to explain, thank you! Because of the typhoon crossing on the 24th during our stay, the hotel sent an email in advance to inform me that reinforcement was needed in the yard. The typhoon night hotel and I said that because the reinforcement of the yard caused the bath may be seen by other people, and offered to take a bath in the upstairs room. If you feel trouble, you can change the room directly without the difference. So it took the same The price of living in 2 kinds of rooms really feels like earning. The typhoon came out the next morning, and the sun came out on the tatami. Inexplicably, there was a feeling of warm healing. In a word, a great hotel, it’s right to live!"
"Very small and exquisite old house B&B, this shop has only five rooms, which is quite large in Japanese-style hotels. I live in a room called "Matcha", there is a small courtyard and open air (not hot spring), the store will prepare a matcha tea bag for bathing. The room has a kettle, a small fridge and a tea set for two, no coffee machine. There is only white water and beer in the refrigerator. The choice is slightly less and there is no snack. But you can call the front desk to order drinks and wine. The hotel is just next to Nijo Castle, just 5 minutes walk. There are some old houses in the alleys. It is very interesting. You can meet many special restaurants, cafes and specialty shops when you are free to stroll. The staff are very friendly, and they will chat while preparing breakfast, and the English is good. There is a beef in the breakfast. Basically, it is not enough to eat after dinner. The taste is also very good. By the way, there will be welcome tea on arrival, and the little girl will prepare the matcha tea ceremony, which is very authentic and taste. In addition to the slightly expensive price of the cherry blossom season, the others are quite good."
"The hotel is very welcoming. There is a tea ceremony welcoming ceremony at the time of check-in. The service is excellent, warm and courteous, and the staff is very good at English. The room has a private open-air bath, like a small garden with a pleasant view. The breakfast is quite rich, the main course is beef and fish. The staff will help with the roast. In addition to the small price, I decided that Matcha will be nearly 5,000 nights, which may be the reason for the weekend, and it seems that the more certain it is, the more expensive it seems."

"Compared with the four seasons of Kyoto and Hongxinuoya, I personally feel that Park Hyatt has won. Master Ji Yutang's design perfectly integrates modern heritage with the elegance of Park Hyatt. A ten-minute walk can avoid the crowds during the day, and take a night tour at night, occasionally meet one or two photography enthusiasts, nodded to indicate the edge, feel the beauty of Kyoto ~ very close to Shijotong Hotel breakfast can choose Japanese style (reservation required, closes at 10:00, we go 10 minutes late on the last day, it's okay) or Western style (bistro in western restaurant, highly recommended fried udon noodles). But very delicate Park Hyatt's restaurant, Kyomato Kyoto, doesn't recommend it. The courtyard can be seen from the 5th floor lounge and corridor of the hotel. Take a rest during the lunch break and enjoy it. We choose the most expensive set of 45,000 yen ( 15% service charge is not included, there is no package information, and the wine list has very few varieties ...) The dishes are really not good ... it is more refined than Jiquan kichisen, and you still remember it after eating it ... The scenery is unique. 🉑️ See the Yasaka Iron Tower, the floor-to-ceiling window of the restaurant, overlooking Dongshan, especially at night, it is also great to have a drink and let it go for a while. All in all, the satisfaction is very high, I recommend everyone to experience ~ ❤️ the above"
"Regardless of the hotel's location, the overall design is elegant, the colors are warm, and the service is enthusiastic, basically I am very satisfied. You can see it in the photos I took, but I still have to talk about the areas that need improvement. 1. I forgot to inform you that a Japanese-style set meal is available for reservation at check-in. 2. Western-style breakfast has intimate menus, but the taste needs to be adjusted. 3. Insufficient pillow support and comfort in guest rooms, which affects sleep is important. 4. Due to poor room separation, children crying in other rooms, couples quarreling, or speaking louder can be heard. 5. Coincidentally, when checking out, the staff at the counter also asked how was the accommodation experience? We are explaining that there are too few choices for pillows. He just said that Japanese people are used to this kind of pillows, which makes me feel that they are avoiding the problem. After all, the hotel is located in an internationally renowned attraction, are n’t customers of other nationalities? Our customers don't expect to be able to change anything, but it is a professional attitude to accept opinions. Such a service concept needs to be improved."
"Breakfast is divided into Japanese and Western style, Japanese style is slightly better than Western style. Close to the attractions, basically located in the scenic area. Hotel is new, design and service are good. The lights as a whole are dim, following the mood line, not the business line. People need to slow down to better understand. Overall good, the price is too expensive during the Spring Festival, order with teeth."

"We lived quite a bit, with a living room, a tea kiosk, a bedroom and an observation deck upstairs. . Outside is the yard. I am coming in the summer. So the temperature is right, I don't know what will happen in winter. The location is not very easy to find, waited for a long time, the waiter came to pick up. The room is Japanese national style, the things are complete, the landlord is a little short for me, they are all the same, so at night I want to go out and open the wardrobe, and turn it in the closet for 5 minutes. In short, a clean single-family. There is nothing to eat around, the feeling of being disciplined in the mountains"
"Superb villa, but the road is really hard to find! (Be sure to navigate: Guangyun Temple) The hotel also provides a local mobile phone for internet access (international calls are also free). There are 5 of us. Although we said that there is only one toilet at the beginning, we wanted to finish it, but the toilet is reasonable and comfortable! Mom wants to buy the washing machine..."
"For a hotel booked by my parents, I only know a big Japanese villa when I check in. Very close to the Ginkakuji Temple, there is a small yard at the entrance, behind the philosophy road, it is very comfortable to take a walk in the morning. Breakfast is a pure Japanese breakfast delivered to the room outside, and the experience is good."

"We loved Campton Kiyomizu. First of all the pictures do not really show how beautiful this property is. Second this is a very popular area full of restaurants, shops and lots of tourists (interestingly most were Japanese). We stayed in unit 1 over Thanksgiving with 3 children. The units are brand new, equipped with everything from washer/dryer to a full kitchen. The units are really clean and stylish. Note. they are not kidding about the no shoes. We horrified them by stepping into the first room with shoes on (again the place is spotless). The communication with the staff was a little tough (our fault we don't speak Japanese) but they were so lovely and tried very hard to accommodate everthing we needed. They booked us into 2 amazing restaurants incl a 1Michelin star and another v. high end. I recommend you ask them to make reservations for you way before you go, (through all of Japan, the restaurants were tough to book and really required a Japanese speaker). I had to ask how to use the washer and even the maintenace person they sent was so kind and interesting, I talked to him for 1/2 an hour. This propery had a view of the pagoda which was a very popular place for photographs, we must have seen 1/2 dozen wedding pictures shot while we were there. Overall we'd definitely stay here again, we thought it was excellent and a great change from the giant hotels we stayed in in Tokyo. Thank you to the gracious staff!"
"We stayed with 2 kids in room 7. The flat is (for Japanese comparison very spacious) From thw bedroom we had a great view to the pagoda, absolutely stunning. Service was brilliant and efficient. During the day the area is busy, but after sunset so quiet an peaceful. Major attractions in town are in walking distance. Loved the location, which comes with a price tag. But surely worth it. "

"This may be the Ritz-Carlton that I have stayed at the most mini facade. But the wine is not afraid of the alley... The floor-to-ceiling window that goes into the whole room is a well-decorated Japanese courtyard... I feel like sitting in the window without going anywhere. The front viewing courtyard is a beautiful thing... a foreign customer service directly in the room to help me check in and then asked me if I need to upgrade to the river view room... I asked if he was free but he said it was not but he could give me The lowest discount... then he reported it to me Just pay 9000+rmb again... Ok... scare me... the wallet says the river view is a bit expensive... just look at the courtyard..."
"Breakfast is delicious. Japanese cuisine needs to be booked in advance, but not much but very delicate. Western breakfast is one of the best Western breakfast I have ever had. Shuihui's tempura cuisine completely overturns the previous perception of tempura. The professionalism of the chefs who handle food seriously is respectful. All of the hotel's services are reflected in the details, which is one of the best Ritz-Carlton hotels I have ever stayed at. You can see Kamogawa by opening the curtains, and go to Kamogawa while running in the morning. The scenery along the way makes people feel particularly beautiful."
"Really worthy of five stars.. I think it is really how much money to spend in Japan to buy. The room is extra spacious.. The tatami is also very different experience.. ordered breakfast in the room.. service is very comprehensive.. breakfast also Still can be.. in the middle of the law.. hotel toiletries are also very good.. If there is a chance next time.. will also book this hotel.. but will have a room with mountain views.. this corner house.. half of the view Generally... but still love..."

"Super satisfied, I finally told me that I couldn't fix it in the results of the other platform. After I arrived in Japan, I got the ordinary room two hours before the check-in. I went to the hotel and upgraded to the Deluxe Garden View Suite. Check the next one. I actually had 18,000 in the evening, and I also sent two days in the morning, 10,000 yen in consumption. I was too satisfied with this Mid-Autumn Festival. I used an iPhone11pro Max to upgrade my money to three and a half phones. At the end of the noon, I was very satisfied with the Michelin star dining at the hotel. I will come to the four seasons in the future."
"Breakfast is exquisite and the price is not high. Can add an extra bed Suitable for the whole family with children, the hotel location is very good, just outside the Kyoto Museum and 33 rooms, there is also a shrine ⛩️. The design of the hotel is awesome, and the garden is beautiful! I especially like the hotel's Japanese food, especially the superb chef! The dining process is simply artistic enjoyment."
"The facility was very nice and satisfied. However, most of the staff lacked knowledge and experience. All the people were not suitable for this hotel. The concierge was also surprised at the response and reply like an amateur. It was sloppy at check-in. When I checked out, Todome was told that the calculation was incorrect after I arrived at my house. Isn't human resources growing in Kyoto due to the increase in hotels? It is very disappointing."
