Top 10 't Harde Hotels

I can't say enough about this hotel... It's set in beautiful woodlands with red squirrels. Staff are so helpful and pleasant. I don't think there was anything that wasn't available at breakfast buffet - all kinds of juices, milks, coffees, pastries, breads, eggs - all different ways, sausage, bacon,, cakes, cereal, make your own waffles, fruit and the list goes on. The swimming pool and sauna were open from 7.00am until 11.00pm and if you wanted either outside those hours all you had to do was ask. I don't what the cost of the hotel was as we went as part of a coach trip but it would be worth every penny. High recommend.

Excellent hotel with very friendly people to the boss. Dick plus for helpfulness and remember when one of our friends had suffered an accident. Come back. Small comments: if you stay for several days, the menu card for the arrangement may be a bit more extensive for us. We will certainly come back once!

After our reservation, we have only read the worst reviews about this hotel and yet we have met the challenge. The environment is beautiful when you go for rest and nature because it is in the middle of the forest. The hotel itself is a little very back in time and when check-in is asked when you come to breakfast and or dinner briefly away holiday feeling. What does not take away that breakfast and dinner was astonishingly good to our surprise. The room was quite dated, and the bathroom was fun for one person and certainly missed a shower door there, immediately understanding the extra pump outside the shower. For people with bad backs, I can advise you to take a muscle relaxer, couples who still love and enjoy each other there, this bed has also found something on... you fall between bed or because the matrace is so gentle, you glide out of the matrace. The staff are aware of all these problems, and I have experience that they do best, we have been friendly with everyone in the hotel.

The surrounding of the hotel are very nice and you can really enjoy walking for hours in the woods (watch out for wild boars, however); the hotel in itself is more attuned for meetings than family visits. Food is Dutch average at breakfast and lunch (so not very good looking and enticing), coffee is the worst ever. We could not enjoy dinner a la carte, therefore, I cannot say if the chef was good (we had BBQ food in an outside tent, which was, again, nothing really special) or not. The dessert cart was decent and I have particularly enjoyed the macaroons, thou. Rooms are pretty basic, there is very little attention to cleanliness (the carpets in the wings I was full of big stains). There is also no safe in any room, which I found very annoying. Mobile and Wifi connections really ******.
