Overnight with friends. At first, I was planning to go to a hot spring, but it gradually became closer, and in the end it was a plan to say that there was no hot spring and only the atmosphere ... but as a result, the answer was correct. The place is in the Grand Prince. The entrance is a little difficult to understand, and for some reason there is no front desk or entrance, and I wander around the lobby. Finally I found a staff member and was guided to the 4th floor. Check-in with matcha and sweets at the club lounge. Although the lounge is a little simple and small, there are only 14 guest rooms, so this may be enough for capacity. It is worth mentioning that you can access all the lounges of the three hotels in this Takanawa Prince area (actually four because it is a plus Hanakoji) (I was waiting w) This seems to be a privilege only for this Hanakaji, and the tension rises. I was supposed to come slowly to conquer all of them in 2 hours of cocktail time from 17:00, but I suddenly changed to an erratic and fluttering project! I went to the lounge of Hanakoji just at 17:00, but there was no previous customer. We are embarrassed. Drinks are a small number of elite drinks such as champagne, wine, sake, whiskey, and good juice (laughs). Nine snacks on the plate? Since the concept here is Japanese, it is a Japanese set. After that, I went to the lounge on the lower floor, but there was a line, Shin Takanawa had only beer and the rest of the daytime cake, and even though I went to Sakura Tower, there was nothing nice about alcohol or snacks, so I ended up returning to the beginning. As a result of returning to the beginning, I found that there is a drink here even after the cocktail time (no hors d'oeuvre) I finally found that it was the correct answer to use only here, so from the next time I will do so. Although the introduction has become longer, the room has the same setting as that of the inn and has a bed on tatami mats. The view of the garden is good from the window, and you can see the garden from the bath (can you see the bath from the garden?) The bathroom is large and comfortable. No unnecessary rain shower for me. No toiletries (I wanted this). I am grateful that breakfast is brought to my room and I can relax in the room while looking out at the garden. The contents are a little like an inn, and there are many items. Another feature is that all the staff in the hall are very responsive. After that, there is nothing to say if you can dig in the hot springs.

It was my first time staying here and it was very relaxing. First of all, the room had a great view of the garden, and it was in a position where other hotel rooms didn't bother me so much. The bedroom was comfortable, and I was relaxing on the tatami mats for the first time in a while. I had breakfast in my room and loved it. In addition, room service was delicious, too. In addition, the lounge dedicated to this hotel was nice with a calm atmosphere, and I was able to use the lounges of the other three hotels, and I was able to experience the differences in the atmosphere and service content of each, which was interesting. The garden was beautifully decorated for the summer festival. Finally, the service was also very good, ensuring a high level of quality in this difficult situation. It is a very good hotel, so I would like to visit again.

Aman Tokyo sets a new standard for exceptional hard products. Despite a mishap on our first night when we returned from dinner to find our room uncleaned, the front desk manager promptly apologized and offered complimentary drinks. The head of housekeeping also personally apologized at breakfast and showered us with thoughtful gestures like a fruit platter and free laundry. Subsequently, our stay was faultless. Aman Tokyo also boasts stunning design and architecture and a strategic location near Otemachi station, Tokyo station, the Imperial Palace, and Ginza. Its awe-inspiring atrium leaves a lasting impression. The generously sized rooms, starting at 70 square meters, feature high ceilings throughout, with unforgettable views of the imperial gardens from the bed. Even the retractable TV showcases its thoughtful design, providing guests with an unobstructed view of the Tokyo skyline. The hotel's farewell was equally remarkable. Providing a complimentary hotel car transfer to Tokyo station, while being escorted by another staff member who went the extra mile to purchase our tickets, carry our luggage to the platform, store our luggage on the train and brought us to our seats. Undoubtedly, this luxury at Aman Tokyo comes at a price. However, delivers the sought-after wow factor for which its rates command. After all, Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. From the grand lobby to the inviting pool and spacious rooms, the hotel impresses on many levels. Managing expectations is, however, key. It would be unrealistic to expect the usual Aman-type of service commonly associated with their other properties whose room counts are a lot smaller. While the initial mishap was regrettable, the subsequent personalized attention and meticulous service surpassed expectations for a city hotel with 80 rooms. Whether this was due to the initial mishap or reflective of their usual standards remains unknown, warranting another stay on my next visit to Tokyo.

Aman Tokyo is more than just a boutique hotel; it’s a serene oasis in the heart of the bustling metropolis. From the moment I entered the elegant lobby, I was enveloped in a sense of tranquility and luxury. The rooms are spacious and exquisitely designed, offering breathtaking views of Tokyo’s skyline. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel’s decor and service is unparalleled. The traditional Japanese aesthetic seamlessly blends with modern amenities, creating a harmonious and comfortable atmosphere. What sets Aman Tokyo apart is its impeccable service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Whether it’s the personalized welcome, the spa treatments, or the fine dining at the hotel’s restaurants, every moment is a delight. The central location of Aman Tokyo makes it convenient to explore the city’s attractions, and the hotel itself is a destination worth savoring. If you’re seeking a luxurious and peaceful retreat in Tokyo, Aman Tokyo is the perfect choice.

I have to say I was excited and looked forward to my stay. At the end. I don’t think it was worth it. And it was because of what Hoshinoya Tokyo is, it is a ryokan, not a hotel, and it is a Japanese chain. It was not imbued with the spirit of providing utmost comfort and pampering to its guest. It is more focused on the onsen, the Japanese culture, and the provision of daily meals.

It is not where you should stay to hear a lot of Yes. No concierge service, so they won’t help you get a reservation because they provide meals in the ryokan (which hotel doesn’t?). No early check in or courtesy late check out. If you want to check out late, it’s 9,000 JPY per hour - even when it doesn’t cost the hotel anything. No currency exchange service. If you want to order meals, you have to place the order the day before. No bathrobe provided, and when asked, first they said they didn’t have them, then they provided but warned me I should only wear them inside the room (I don’t remember a time in my life when I wore bathrobe walking around any hotel), and that since the quantity was limited, they would not change the bathrobe during my stay - it all sounded like a conversation I would have with my school principal, one that was not so friendly.

The fancy picture of the centerpiece which flooded Instagram was one place on the hallway, first floor, where we took off our shoes before entering the hotel. Reception is on the second floor, and the interior was a mixed in style, I don’t know how to call it. It was dated and furnished with uncomfortable sofas and chairs. We and other guests were not allowed to checked in until 3 pm (regardless whether a room was available) so we could see several parties, some with small children hanging out on those sofas like at a train station. Not all of us can time our flight to arrive at the hotel at exactly 3 pm, so it was a tiresome wait during which we were provided with one cup of tea per person the whole time. After that long wait, the welcome ritual with snacks at the lounge on our floor became quite pointless. We already did not feel welcomed. Service at Hoshinoya Tokyo was also not great and definitely not 5 star. As a guest pointed out, it’s difficult to get to the entrance via taxi. The basement entrance was dark. Room cleaning was not reliable - we left the room for 3 hours in the morning, came back at 1 pm and the room was not cleaned. But if you stayed in (which well, what you are supposed to do at a ryokan), they wouldn’t go in to clean or even asked if you wanted the room to be cleaned. On such a day, I asked if I could get new towels when we left for dinner, the staff said yes, but nothing happened when we came back and no follow up call to let us know why. There’s no view from our room (executive room at the corner). The hotel is surrounded by other taller buildings. When we opened the window screen, we could see people from the other building office and they could see us. It’s all grayish.

This is the most spectacular hotel we have ever stayed in. My husband and I just spent three weeks in Japan for our honeymoon, and we spent our first two nights in Japan at the wonderful Hoshinoya in Tokyo. It was an experience that was unmatched in the rest of Japan! The amount of thoughtfulness and care that goes into every detail is astounding. The rooms are VERY comfortable and gorgeous, and I really enjoyed the shared communal space on our floor to make coffee and get a treat or snack. The onsen is OUT OF THIS WORLD ridiculous, with an open air skylight. AND, the food is delicious and made with all of the detail and flavor you would expect out of Japanese food. We got the Japanese breakfast in our room both days, and splurged on dinner at the restaurant hotel, which was one of the best meals we have ever had. 15/10 recommend this hotel if you can afford it - we would have happily stayed here for our entire trip!

The highlight of the hotel is a small courtyard with hundreds of years of history, a small waterfall and a nice view. There is a Japanese-style breakfast and a buffet. There is a good restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. There is a good Kobe beef and pine yak that can be fed or sukiyaki.

Everything is great! The various grades are obviously higher than the main last time! The courtyard is as beautiful as ever!

I am lucky enough to stay at a high-end hotel once or twice per year. Let me start by saying I am indifferent between most high-end chains and standard Westins/Marriotts/Hiltons, etc. Four Seasons hotels are different--you can always see and feel what you are paying for. The new Four Seasons at Otemachi exemplifies this. Needless to say, the public spaces and rooms are beautiful. Both the design and execution of the design are magnificent. If you are a connaisseur of construction quality, you will see what I mean. In terms of fit and finish, it is to a building what a Lexus is to a car. More important than the physical space, though, is the staff. Within a day of being here, it seemed to be that everyone knew who I was (so behave yourself, because you don't want to develop a bad reputation here). I ate breakfast (it comes with the room) here, as well as one lunch in the Italian restaurant and one dinner at the bar. The food, while generally not Japanese per se, had Japanese flair. The smoked salmon in my first-day breakfast salad was special, as was the veal salad and turbot with edamame pure' I had for lunch. The Japanese breakfast featured cod marinated in miso, which is something I enjoy, and it did not disappoint. The Waygu burger I had for dinner was better than fine but didn't quite match my favorite in Los Angeles, which is the burger at the bar of Cut. The waitstaff was attentive without hovering, and the bartender, Keith Motsi, was named the best bartender in Asia last year. I am not surprised. He won me with his familiarity of Hemingway's drinking habits, and his perfectly executed, bone dry, stirred martini (he rinses both the carafe and glass with vermouth before pouring in the gin). The pool is stunning, although I am mildly disappointed that it has no deep end. Alas, shallow pools seem to be the way it is with all hotels these days. New hotels usually have to go through a shakedown period before they find their footing, and it was pretty clear to me the Otemachi Four Seasons is already well grounded. Currently, it is expensive, but not crazy expensive. I wish them much success.

Visited Tokyo many times; first stay at Four Seasons Otemachi, one of the newest luxurious hotels. Had two inter-connecting Premium Rooms, which we shared with our two teenage children for four nights. The Lobby, Est Restaurant, swimming pool and gym all on 39/F have great city and Palace views. The swimming pool is very cool and extra special - all four walls and the bottom of the pool are made of mirrors. You watch your own strokes and listen to music while you swim. The decor of the hotel is modern and zen. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Service was exquisite. Food was delicious. Our son was looking for a specific guitar and the staff went over and beyond what was expected to locate the only one available in Tokyo. We would especially like to thank Heba and McHayla for making our stay extra special.

The service attitude is very good, but there are only 2-3 people checking in and checking out, which is not enough. There will be a lot of queues. Although there will be helpful receptionists to ask for reservation information in advance, it will still take a long time. The advantage of the lobby is that it is on a high floor. The privacy is good. There is a dedicated elevator to get to the guest room, but the disadvantage is that you need to go to the elevator every time you go out/come back. Compared with the accommodation experience eleven years ago, the facilities feel obviously outdated. Breakfast is not a buffet but an a la carte menu. I don’t know how often it changes, but it is the same for two consecutive days. Although there are many ways to prepare eggs, the appetizers, salads and fruits are the same. It may be a bit boring if you eat it for two more days. Freshly baked bread will be served. Come here and let me choose, but they are all shortening and French tart, which are quite greasy. Several kinds of homemade yogurt are good. The puddings are all sweet. When I ordered on the first day, I ordered pancake as the main dish, which was relatively normal. The waffle that came with the second day was also shortened. The chocolate after housekeeping is delicious. There are two kinds of dark chocolate and milk chocolate. The hotel’s chocolate lobby restaurant also sells it. It's not too far away from Roppongi Tower. It's about 1.00km or 10.20 minutes walk. You can see the night view of Tokyo Tower from a distance.

I booked a deluxe twin room with double basins and a wide view. The breakfast is rich in variety and the bread is very authentic. The surrounding transportation is convenient, and it is convenient to go shopping in Ginza The lady who checked in was very classy and the service was very attentive. They will communicate with you in the simplest English, so don't be afraid, speak English words boldly, and they will use software to translate them into Chinese for you.

A very good hotel. The front office checked in very professionally and quickly. They answered a lot of questions. The various package services were very responsive. The breakfast was delicious. I tried several restaurants. The dishes were very good. The cleaning service was very timely every day. Very well done too.

One of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed in in Tokyo, from getting off the taxi to checking out the next day. What you feel is gentle and attentive service, and respect that makes people feel comfortable and satisfied. The breakfast was really delicious and the bed was so sleepy.

There have been some twists and turns in booking this hotel from the beginning. In fact, as long as the booking situation is not smooth, try not to book a hotel. Even if you succeed, you will be like me. This hotel is not suitable for high-end tourists from ************** who love fitness and are easy-going. . The gym has various difficulties for hotel guests. First, they have to fill out an application form (very strange). The gym is shared with the office building and is not exclusive to hotel guests. Sneakers that are brought in from outside are not allowed. If you want to rent, you will not be charged cash, and there is no Alipay or WeChat payment! I received a Visa and some incomprehensible payment methods, but in the end I didn’t succeed in fitness. We checked in after 5:00, but we were told that the museum tour the next day would only accept guests who made reservations before 5:00. We were clearly told that we were not eligible to visit the museum if we missed that time. We only had 2 nights here so no accommodations. Breakfast was average! The Japanese-style breakfast requires a waiter to serve rice, soup, fry fish, etc. It is very inconvenient. The aroma on the floor is very strange and I’m not used to it! Not cost-effective! There is also an indescribable feeling of not being taken seriously!

Facilities: very good Hygiene: very good good environment The service was excellent Free access to executive lounge: good Breakfast: very good The hotel I have always dreamed of finally got my wish. I like the hotel very much. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is delicious. There are many varieties. The executive lounge is also very quiet. It is refreshing to taste the food and rest. It is a hotel with a lot of history. I will choose this hotel next time I go there.

The location is great, right next door to Tokyo Station and walking distance to the Imperial Palace. The staff in this hotel are fabulous, very polite, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Check in was a nice easy process and I was kindly shown to my room. The room itself is fine, I've stayed in better Four Season Hotels but there was nothing wrong with the room I was given. The bed was comfy but the pillows I found were way too soft. I'm sure however if I'd asked they would have replaced them with firmer options. They also had limited charging sockets near the bed but not close enough for shorter cables so I had to charge my phone on the other side of the room. The shower was powerful, there was a nice deep bath but no bath salts and the bathroom amenities are not miniatures but rather large dispensers, great to save on plastic waste. Robes, hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities and mini bar are all provided. It appears they don't offer a pressing service because when I requested this they suggested an iron and ironing board to be brought to me instead. I personally don't mind ironing my own clothes so this was fine for me. WiFi was very good. The gym and restaurant are located on floor 7. The gym was nicely equipped for a hotel gym and had just about enough kit to get a decent workout in. They had a selection of cardio options as well. There are tin bottles of water and towels readily available. The hot pool was nice to relax in after and they also had a steam room and jet massage shower. Breakfast I had both as room service and in the restaurant. The menu was the same in both but you had more freedom on portion size with the continental option in the restaurant. I also had dinner room service whilst at the hotel. Room service was quick, normally arriving within 30mins of the order being placed. The food was well prepared and delicious. My only constructive criticism would be, it would have been nice to have had more choice, I found the room service menu limited, and I'd like to have had more local Japanese options, especially sushi. All in all a good hotel with fabulous staff in a great location. It wasn't however perfect with the points mentioned above so I can only award this hotel a 4* rating.

Excellent service, super large room in the city center, invincible and delicious breakfast, qualified gym, comfortable sauna and hot spring, I will strongly recommend this hotel, but be careful that it is very close to the station, the traffic is very convenient, but it will be late at night Hear the sound of the tram running

Tokyo has a humid subtropical climate which means mild winters and warm and wet summers. While visitors come to Tokyo year-round, but the best time to explore the city is in Spring (March to May) and Fall (September to November). During these two seasons, the weather is pleasant, and Tokyo is exceptionally beautiful with blossoming flowers in Spring and colorful foliage in Fall. The hottest month is August with an average high temperature of 31C (88F) and the coldest month is January with an average high of 9 C (48 F). If you prefer to holiday in summer and don’t mind the heat, expect short rainfall almost every day and high humidity. There is a rainy season in Tokyo, which typically lasts from early June to mid-July.There are several peak tourist seasons in Tokyo when visitors should expect large crowds and high prices. First is the end of March to early April when cherry blossoms are in full bloom, then again in the Golden Week (end of April to the first week of May) when a number of holidays mean locals flock to Tokyo and all scenic areas to celebrate. The same is for Fall when crowds gather for the vibrant foliage. Besides the weeks between Christmas and New Year, traveling during the off-season (late autumn through March) can save you a bundle.
