Top 10 7 Mares Hotels

A really nice hotel for a business traveler, with plenty of restaurants near by. For a tourist there is really nothing within walking distance to do. No shopping - nothing. Beautiful well appointed rooms. Super quiet. I would definitely stay here again. Nice little touches like water bottles and Kind bars at the front entrance and in the gym. It was nice for the front desk to honor my Titanium Elite and upgrade my basic room to a suite - however they neglected to put me on the executive floor. I'm at a loss as to why Marriott employees make their high status guest ask for what they should simply just be given?

If you are deciding where to stay in Dallas, this is it! Everything about the Mansion is perfect - the rooms, the service, the beautiful pool area, the restaurant, the in-room dining ... nothing is left undone as they attend to every thoughtful detail. There is nothing even close, and we have stayed at all the ”top” properties in Dallas over the past three years or so. Only one is at the top in our opinion - the Mansion!

The location is good, the service is great, the restaurant is very good, parking is convenient, suitable for leisure or business, everything is the best arrangement, you can live more, this is possible

Some of the best drinks and food we’ve had were here at Centric Bar & Grille!! Emily was our server and she did a wonderful job taking care of us! Then we get back to our room and Diana B. sent us a fresh fruit plate with brownie and cold Voss glass bottled water! What a treat!! We will be back next time in Dallas!! ❤️

Save your money, this is really poor value for the price. Stood in line for nearly 15 minutes to check in— it appears there’s only one person handling all concierge, check in and guest relations duties. Rooms do not have coffeemakers or coffee. I was told they were taken out during the pandemic. But there aren’t any other complimentary alternatives and honestly I’m not really buying the hygiene explanation given that there aren’t any mask or distancing rules or other visible Covid safety measure being taken otherwise that I can see. Wi-Fi is also not complimentary which was not stated upfront so I was left scrambling trying to figure out how to get online right before a work video conference. The in-room phone was not functional; regardless of which button I pressed, I got a busy signal. So ended up having to look up the number on my phone— nothing else in the room provided contact info for the front desk— and being placed on a lengthy hold. When I expressed surprise about the charge for Wi-Fi the response was that this is common among luxury properties which felt dismissive and also not borne out by experience— I travel extensively at this class of hotel and at the very least they let you know in advance what the Wi-Fi situation is. Really disappointed with this experience.

I think it's very convenient to walk around the city. It was nice to have mineral water. I would like to stay again.

I really enjoyed my time here. I booked this stay to have some alone time with myself since I am always so busy. The Director, Sony (spellcheck), was so helpful and accommodating. He’s the best of the best. I will be returning! The place is STUNNING!. The bed is most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The breakfast was awesome too!

We visited the Westin Downtown Dallas for a conference at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center. It was a very short walk and surrounded by cute restaurants and bars. We even had a colleague forget her phone in Arlington and the valet (Melvin) went all the way there to get it for her! The hotel is clean and beautiful but I would stay here ten times over the staff and the hospitality.
