"Once you get inside this hotel it is comfortable. The reception staff are very friendly and answered all our questions. Our room on the 3rd floor was quiet and clean. the bathroom was fine with fluffy white towels and products. The shower did need a bit of a tweak to get it to work though.Beds were mega comfortable. Breakfast was basic but adequate. So, the hotel is situated unfortunately where loads of homeless people congregate.I have to say that we walked down to Union Square and back several times and nobody bothered us at all.It was reassuring to see police cars parked at various junctions. We always came back to the hotel in daylight or if later in an Uber. Personally, I would stay at this hotel again as it was value for money in a very expensive SanFrancisco"
"To all the travelers. Following you will see the experience I had with this hotel planning our visit to SAN FRANCISCO. See following how everything happened chronologically: We booked a flight to San Francisco, a RV, a NBA match tickets and the hotel. All happened between january and march 2020. See the last photo attached for better and extra details. On 12th March, Mr.Donald Trump announced that residents of Schengen zone were not allowed flying to EEUU for at least the upcoming 30 days. In different days, from Nwg Airlines, NBA and RC COMPANY we were contacted and told all our cancellations were going to be cancelled automatically bcs of the D.Trump measures and announcement. Having seen this situation I decided to contact the Ascend hotel collection and I asked, exceptionally to be refunded due to the Mr.Donald Trump's decision, so the point, I understand is that if I am not flying to United States it is not because of me, it is bcs simply I am not allowed to fly to United States. The most surprising thing was the hotel's response, a lack of humanity and a sense of professionalism considering they do work and they do operate in the hospitality sector. Just caring about money. To all the potential visitors, thanks for taking the time for reading my experience with this hotel & please, make sure you know where you are going to book after having seen by yourself how do they treat they guest and customers. Apologise if my english is not as perfect as I would like it to be."
"The rooms are comfortable! They have nice beds, good bathrooms, a coffee machine. The only downside to my room was that the bath thub plug is missing. Also you hear easily noises coming from other rooms or floors, for example a running shower. Breakfast is very limited Using the BART train station nearby (CIVIC center) it’s easy to go to many locations in the city."

"If you are looking for a beautifully restored Victorian mansion with luxurious accommodations, attentive service and generous amenities look no further. The Mansion on Sutter exceeded all expectations. The interior is adorned with fine art pieces worth exploring. The daily breakfast includes a delicious routing menu including freshly baked pastries. I am a critical traveler and found no fault with this hotel. Mansion on Sutter truly excels at every level."
"Beautiful SF victorian hotel that feels elegant and full of character. The staff was very kind and friendly. Great location, where you can also feel like a local while feeling safe. While the 1881 restaurant is currently in transition (they're finding a new chef), the staff was generous about letting us enjoying the ambiance. There are lots of wonderful restaurants like Octavia very close by."
"All the staff were very friendly and helpful during the duration of our stay. The room we had was lovely and very comfortable. Amanda served us a delicious breakfast, and made some great coffee before we left. She even let us box a couple of pastries before leaving. I would definitely want to stay here again when coming back to San Francisco."

125 Third Street, San Francisco, California, United States
"Stayed for three nights. I didn’t do hygienic today. The hygienic things were not put out neatly the day before yesterday, and the shower gel shampoo was all messed up. The water pressure is super small and super small. . . It is different from the St. Regis in New York. The room was made of simple materials, and the air blower opened the cabinet and slammed loudly. The basic cushion of the toilet seat board did not. The lobby service is available."
"Hotel location is very good, just next to SF MOMA, 3 minutes walk from Market St, 5 minutes walk in Chinatown, shopping is convenient. The hotel does not have toothpaste, you need to call and send it, but the service is very good, the kettle and toothpaste are delivered in time. There is a small problem that will be chosen next time next door."
"San Francisco is one of the best hotels. The room facilities are very new. The waiters have a good attitude. The platinum card gave the suite upgrade. The corner view on the 18th floor is very good. The breakfast is good. Overall it is good to stay next time"

2901 Pacific Avenue, San Francisco, California, United States
"Such a beautiful hotel, we chose to stay here as it was in the nicer part of SF and we were visiting from London for three nights. The surrounding areas have some beautiful houses and feel very safe. The service in the hotel was fabulous from start to finish and nothing was too difficult for the staff. We used the hotel bicycles, chauffeur service, dvd hire, valet/parking (all included within price). Continental breakfast had an amazing choice of healthy breakfast smoothies, salmon, eggs, pastries, porridge (everything you could ask for!). We also visited the wine reception, which is way more than just a wine reception! It had amazing nibbles and a great selection of wines. Cookies served in the afternoon in the lounge were also delicious (yes - we really made use of everything!). Lovely bvlgari toiletries, pillow menus and homemade Drisco shortbread biscuits in your room every day. My only regret was staying at this hotel at the start of our California road trip, the standards at this hotel are so high nothing comes close!"
"Loved this hotel! Smaller hotel in a beautiful residential area in Pacific Heights. Refreshing to stay in such a nice area in SF, previously we have stayed in many different hotels around Union Square which used to be nice. Cozy room, perfect bed, pillows, all very luxurious. The bathroom floor was heated. They serve wonderful wine/appetizers, covid safe. Breakfast delivered to the room. Can't wait to go back!"
"I recently visited Hotel Drisco for one night and it won’t be my last. I stayed in a lovely city view suite. The accommodations and service are a step above the rest. The hotel is located in the peaceful Pacific Heights neighborhood with wonderful views of the city and marina. Restaurants on Fillmore street are a 10 minute walk away. I will definitely return on a future San Francisco trip. "

226 6th Street, San Francisco, California, United States
"My friends and I decided to book this room after giving it some thought. We wanted to save some money on accommodation so we could properly enjoy the city. From the reviews on here and other sites, I was expecting much worse. The area is just fine during the day. Sure you see a lot of homeless people but you see them all around San Fran. It is an older hostel, but I noticed that some of the rooms are being renovated. It has no elevator so keep that in mind. The towels and sheets were clean, I didn't see any insect around the building and the bed was quite comfortable. As I said I was expecting a nightmare of a hostel but it was not bad after all. The owner is really friendly and helpful."
"Upon arrival, the whole inside of the building had plastic sheeting up, the reception stating that it was undergoing a huge renovation. The rooms are very basic with no hanging space, and the shared bathroom was awful, holes in the door, hadn't been cleaned, and my friend walked back to the bedroom with a huge hair ball stuck to his foot. It turns out 6th Street is a pretty bad area of San Fran, and our taxi driver the following day said you should be warned about staying in this area when you book as it is so bad."
"I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It is the most unsafe and dangerous place to stay. Also, I would recommend to find your own parking at your own risk and not listen to management about where to park. Sorry, but given the kind of area it is located at, it's not safe to trust anyone. We left the hotel very early in the morning and found drug addict pooing on the street right outside the hotel. Some drunk people also followed us down the street because we were carrying luggage with us. Luckily, we left the city safely. I wouldn't recommend this place for even $25.00 and I'm damn serious. By the way, they overcharged us for one night stay:("

"This hotel feels very good, the layout and facilities of the hotel are very atmospheric, the service attitude is very good, the surrounding environment is also good, supermarkets, restaurants, and transportation are very convenient."
"Big brother is in a daze, I put it back and forth and put gvvvvvvvvvvxcvhgvc. . My mobile phone is waiting for people to go back and forth."
"The hotel is located at a crossroads, opposite the golden-gate park, nice park. Close to UCSF, it is easier to visit the medical center. Breakfast A typical American breakfast light meal, okay!"
