"I had posted an earlier review that was not very flattering to The Windsor Court; not about the hotel itself, but over billing issues. I am happy to report that the hotel has not only corrected the mistake even more than I expected, but they have invited us back for 3 nights on the hotel. The hotel is absolutely stunningly beautiful. Enclosed in a courtyard cutting off the outside traffic, the courtyard has a huge fountain in the middle. The Valet will meet and greet you immediately and the bellman will be there to take your bags. The hotel is so beautiful and the location is directly between Canal and Poydras, across from Harrah's, walking distance to all the quarter has to offer. It is also just a short walk to the streetcar line. I can now say that I highly recommend The Windsor Court Hotel and that not only is the hotel beautiful, but when the General Manager and upper management staff members become involved in any dispute, you can bet that it will be taken care of promptly and properly. "We recently stayed at the Windsor Court Hotel and were located on the Club level. I can't say enough good things about our experience there. People at the registration desk were helpful as were the doorman and concierge . The Club level lounge is where you get breakfast, afternoon tea, heavy appitizers (which you can almost make a meal on but won't want to bc you want to go to local restaurants!) were delicious. And did I mention complimentary cocktails? The wait staff and concierge in the lounge were most accommodating. Our room was beautiful with a great view. Whoever designed the rooms did a great job as the bathroom and hallway into the bedroom were next to the hallway with the bed further away. This made it so you NEVER heard noise in the hall. It was a wonderful experience and one we would like to do again, It was expensive, but a worthy treat for our New Orleans visit."
"I have traveled to 40 states within USA & 45 countries around the world. Without a doubt I had my best experience in this hotel, from the location to service to the rooms. It is not a chain hotel. It is rated a 4 star hotel but definitely feels like a five star from the moment you pull into the hotel’s driveway to when you check out. The rooms are fantastic, the beds are super comfy, & the showers are amazing. Everything is super clean. The staff take pride in their work & it shows. It is located across the street from the land based casino & walking distance to the French quarter. "

"Good location, just on the French street, 5 minutes walk from each red store. The hotel is beautiful and the small indoor garden is perfect for afternoon tea. The local Jumbo soup is also available for free at the hotel lobby, similar to the black pepper seafood soup, which tastes good. At the time of check-in, the front desk asked me if I would upgrade the room type, I agreed, but the upgraded room was charge100 knife in the club room, but the room was small, only half a window, so I decided to change back to the original garden interior room, I think The room is bigger and more comfortable."
"Great experience everyone was nice and very professional "

"We have stayed here several times. Not a lot of amenities at this price point, but it is prime real estate. Walkable distance to everything in the Quarter, yet quiet. Beautiful courtyard. Luxurious toiletries. They charge a bundle to park your car ($55 daily PLUS TAX!) and for this reason we may explore other options. Front desk staff is hit or miss. Amanda is great...some of the others need to step up their southern charm. The general manager was on site one day greeting patrons and asking how to improve their experience. Nice touch. Sobou (hotel restaurant) has some good eats, just SLOW. **Pierre Masperos (2 min walk max) is killing it with kindness, service and excellent comfort food. Ask for Katie. She could school the whole city on how to do a job joyfully.***"
"Great location that is close to all the French Quarter bars and restaurants we wanted to go to. Outdoor seating area is so inviting! Room was clean and spacious. Pool was open. Wish the restaurant was open but understand the limitations facing hotels at this time."
"We have been staying in this hotel for years and will continue to do so. We love the location, being on a fairly quiet street just yards from Bourbon Street. The staff is knowledgeable, the on-site bar and restaurant are perfect."

"Our entire stay was a mess from checking in and I’m trying to pay and the front desk saying your room and fees are taking care of. So I’m like ok or you sure. I said I have one night free and and had to pay for Saturday night. I was informed it had $0.00 balance. Later on something told me to check so I checked and Harrah’s charged my card I reserved the room with which I was told it was only needed to reserve them room because I was going to pay with my debit card when I arrived. I was told when booking the room that I could do so. This was not so. I called the front desk of Hilton’s and was told there is nothing they could do and it should where room was paid for. I informed them that no they tried to charge the card I reserved the room with and it declined. I was then told I had to cont Harrah’s front desk because the booking was done through them. I talked to 6 different people and it was after 2am and still issue wasn’t resolved. I was told I had to come in to the Harrah’s Hotel and talk with someone at front desk before 3 pm. I went to Harrah’s and still the front desk could not get it corrected and my debit card was scanned 4x and I was told it wouldn’t charge my card 4x and still did not get an answer if they took payment. I was giving a print out saying I still had $0 balance but that was still incorrect. Our hotel stay was a nightmare. The front desk staff and manger I talked to on the phone at 2am was rude, inconsiderate, and didn’t care. I will not be staying there again. I could add note but I’m just going to leave it at this!!"
"Great place to be right in the middle of the action. Always something to venture into and the staff is top notch. Hotel is clean and very comfortable. Will definitely be here again. Casino is clean and non smoking. The games are awesome with good pay outs."
"I really like the rooms especially the bathrooms with the soaking tub and shower. Clean and comfortable. The location is great for the quarter or the Riverwalk shops or the WWII museum or the warehouse district or Canal Street and the casino"

"Cannot recommend this hotel/experience highly enough. Even before we saw the beautiful property (or properties -- there are four unique buildings here), we were impressed by the individual attention: recommendations about where to eat, cool things happening in the neighborhood, etc. Our week-long stay was one of the best all-around experiences we've had in a U.S. city. The rooms are beautifully/thoughtfully designed, the historic spaces of this former school/church/convent wonderfully showcased, and the staff incredibly friendly/knowledgeable/helpful (they even offered to ship something we couldn't bring back on the plane). It helps, too, that the location is PERFECT. Marigny is a lovely/funky neighborhood with great restaurants, one of the best music scenes in town (Frenchman Street), and it's an easy/quick walk to the French Quarter. Free bikes from the hotel make for fun rides to the Garden District, City Park, Bywater, or Crescent Park. Even just hanging out at the hotel was great -- terrific bar/restaurant and homemade ice cream, to boot. We were ready to take up permanent residence. "
"We live locally and a friend encouraged us to support the business. We decided to stay for a night and I started to book on Travelocity. I decided I should just call directly and they quoted a $199 rate vs. $143 on Travelocity. They asked me to screenshot the Travelocity rate so I could prove to them that there was a lower rate offered. When we arrived we soon figured out the TV was not working. The woman at the front desk tried to fix it and then said she was going to call someone else off site to help. I got the feeling she was the only staff member around. We waited a while and had dinner to get ready for so I suggested to her to move us since we hadn’t really touched the room. She said something about cleaning staff and I got the feeling that she was trying to avoid moving us. Strange for a very quiet hotel? Surely they had lots of room. She reluctantly moved us- almost seeming annoyed. Our room: Basement with low ceilings, loud people upstairs walking around and talking, people using the bathroom located next to our room, elevator dings, and someone cleaning the hallways or something loud at 8 a.m. on a Sunday. Not thrilled with our staycation although the dinner in the church was good."
"Absolutely stunning hotel. They excel at comfort and service at Hotel Peter and Paul. One of the best parts of this experience for us was the knowledgeable staff--they were able to answer our questions about the best places to dine nearby and provided detailed directions and maps to anywhere we wanted to visit in the neighborhood and surroundings. In the room was a lovely guide to the area written by the owner. It even included a section on neighborhood botanicas."

"I stayed at The Pontchartrain last month with my daughter as we were looking at Tulane University. The staff is so professional and interested in you having a great stay. The rooms are all different, cozy and comfortable you don't feel like you are in a hotel. A shout out to Mike and Lindsey at the front door of the hotel, always making sure we had a ride or if we knew where we were going. It's a boutique hotel in the Garden District. A wonderful change to your hotel experience. Highly recommend."
"Yes the hotel is lovely, the location great but what makes this hotel stand out is their staff. Miss Brittany at the front desk is the epitome of Southern hospitality. She went out her way to welcome us & to make our time very special. Mr. Jerry was also so kind & gracious. Both Brittany & Jerry are true gems!!! I have told all my clients & friends about my FABULOUS experience at The Pontchartrain Hotel. "
"Recently stayed for 2 nights, entire wedding party! All workers were friendly and helpful. The valet group worked really hard to make everything go smooth, especially Mike, CJ, Kevon and Fred. The rooms were very clean. COVID safety and cleanliness practices were excellent. We will stay here again!"

"There is plenty of clean and hygienic space. The mattress can be quite new. Nothing wrong. No slippers. Toothbrush. Very good location. It is a 24-hour supermarket next door. The French area is too noisy. The garden area is very quiet."
"Clean, very clean, bed sheets and mattresses are very comfortable, the hotel is not big, cost-effective, parking spaces near the road are pretty good, no need for valet parking"
"Noticed that some small repairs should be made to the rooms especially in the restroom but, overall very clean and great stay for the price. "

"The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel"
