"We were looking for a getaway for our first anniversary within driving distance from our home. White Barn Inn provided exactly what we were desired in a romantic adventure - well-appointed, private rooms, luxury amenities, onsite upscale dining and spa services, bikes for leisurely strolls and a fire pit with s'mores kits for the chilly autumn nights. Along with this, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, always checking in as we came and went from the property, and ensuring we had what we needed to make the trip enjoyable. Fall is a quieter time in Kennebunkport, though this has its advantages due to less crowds and more space to enjoy the scenery. White Barn Inn is conveniently located a short 5 minute walk into town, eliminating the need to drive everywhere. We're looking forward to coming back in the warmer months for use of the outdoor pool and time at the nearby beach!"
"The White Barn may have changed hands (on a corporate level) recently, but the attention to detail, especially with the staff, is what sets this place a step (or two) above every other place in my mind. The front desk staff, especially at check in (David) set the right tone for our stay. We have dined and stayed several times over the years both for business and leisure and the professionalism and efficiency of the staff is what sets the White Barn apart. "
"While the entire stay was wonderful, the friendly service was the highlight. There were a lot of small touches throughout our stay that made it special. Our recently renovated Garden Room was small but beautiful. We opted for in room dining and the food was brought quickly and it was delicious. Would definitely return."

"This is a wonderful place to stay in Kennebunkport! The owner, Bill, is an awesome guy. He and his mother made delicious and healthy farm to table breakfasts every morning during our stay. Bill was very welcoming and made us all feel like family. If you are coming with a large group, the Inn would work very well with plenty of rooms and sitting areas. We were there with a group and it was easy to spend time all together and also retreat to our rooms for quiet time. The rooms themselves are super cozy and clean. Bill is also super connected in the area, so he can make great recommendations about where to eat and what to do. I would highly recommend staying at the Harbor Inn if you are in Kennebunkport!"
"The Harbor Inn is a beautiful century home located in a quiet setting minutes from the ocean. Accommodations went beyond my expectations and host Bill makes staying there a wonderful experience. This house can accommodate a large group and has the perfect setup for arranging this. Saying this, the rooms are so cozy, you can retreat to your room and it feels like you have the place to yourself. Bill and his mother made delicious breakfasts to start the day on the right foot. To my delight, the Inn even had bicycles you could use to explore the town and Bill had great recommendations regarding where to go. I highly recommend staying here!"
"Stayed at the Harbor Inn for an event. Great location and terrific Hosts. Bill & his mom made us feel right at home. The food, rooms & central fire place were fantastic. Bill was around all the time to make sure we were good to go. Although this is their business, Bill and his mother created more of a family vibe. Bill is also part of the chamber of commerce so he knew all the spots and restaurants to go to (highly recommend Bandaloop). We will definitely be returning. Also, if your looking for a "cool" adventure, Bill might take you for a winter dip in the ocean!"

"50 years ago we visited Kennbunkport for our honeymoon. At that time, we couldn't afford more than a motel room. We have returned to Kennebunkport several times since and always stay at the Nonantum, including our most recent visit to thankfully celebrate our 50th. The Nonantum never disappoints. It is a stately, well-kept, and friendly resort, which is close to town, with beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms, and a nostalgic coastal seaside atmosphere. We missed a little this time due to the Covid precautions, but the resort did a great job keeping guests safe with appropriate measures. The breakfasts were a great start to the day, and we never tired of the view from our Portside Waterview room. The staff is the best.....from the front desk, to the breakfast staff, room attendants, and even the head groundskeeper, we were treated most cordially, and accommodated in every way. And there's certainly plenty to see and do along that rugged Maine coastline, in quaint Kennebunkport, and surrounding towns. Thank you Nonantum for another memorable visit............ we will surely look forward to returning again!!"
"Came here for a weekend with my boyfriend, our first getaway since before Covid.. We decided to come here because he came here with his family about 15 years ago and they all loved it. We both have been working on site throughout the pandemic, so when my schedule changed, I called to change the dates of our trip & to add an extra day. The woman was so nice on the phone and guaranteed me that we would have the same exact room with the same view and amenities. She assured me that the only difference would be the size of the bed and that we would still be waterfront. When we checked in, that was not the case. They put us in a family room in a different building than what we booked. They told us they ran out of rooms and agreed to honor a better price (as they should). Our room was ok, no views. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was no maid service and you had to request towels as needed. The people above us were a family, and their kids were running around all throughout the night. When I told the front desk, they told me you're in the family part of the hotel. Well, this is why I didn't book this part of the hotel!!! We e-mailed them and have not received a response. We went in mid-October. They didn't have a shuttle to bring you to town or have anything going on. Breakfast was good- it's nothing like what you see in the pictures though. The restaurant was also good but needed more variety in the menu. Loved the seating arrangements. Beautiful resort but outdated. Would 10/10 return to Kennebunkport but definitely not here."
"For the past 4 years, my wife and I have enjoyed Kennebunkport Christmas Prelude and staying at the Nonantum. This is the 3rd year that we enjoyed the Fire & Ice weekend and we have already booked the weekend in 2020! Can't say enough good things about the property and the staff. Even though the weather this year was not optimal, the Fire & Ice organizers made up for a little rain with a spectacular fireworks display and fabulous band for dancing. The Nonatum has become our annual kick-off to Christmas and we look forward to booking in years to come! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! and a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the wonderful Nonantum Staff!"

"The main reason why we went back to this hotel is because we were here 2 yrs ago and the indoor pool was heated beautifully in Mid October. They also offered a very nice complimentary Hot breakfast. We went back again the exact time of year for 2020. The pool was So cold even my grandchildren didn’t go in and if they went in it was for less then 5 minutes! Everyone there complained how cold it was. I got several text Messages during our stay asking are entire family how our stay was and I complained about the pool being so cold and it’s suppose to be heated and it’s not summer! They did nothing. Then they took away the free hot breakfast and gave us wrapped mini danish and granola bars. No fresh fruit. They complain the reason was of Covid. BUT, in the same Token in the exact restaurant they were to give us the breakfast buffet, they served lunch AND dinner BUT for a Charge!!!??? This is so wrong. They took away maid service as well. They claim to have to Charge for Children over 5 hrs old because they give us a free breakfast. The Covid breakfast they gave us was a joke. That wasn’t worth a few hundred dollars to being the children. But this was a family vacation with my kids and grandkids. The rooms we had were very nice. So with all these changes and cuts during our stay they should have turned up the pool heater or why didn’t we get a Covid-19 Discount? I’m just tired of businesses blaming the increases put on the customers on Covid. My main reason of complaint Is the indoor pool not being warm during October. If they had done that As we Asked I wouldn’t be writing on here. If you have children you may not want to go here. Sad to say as they advertise they’re family owned and operated. Kids under 12 should be free."
"I’ve been coming here for over 23 years!!! I never stay anywhere else when I come up. The staff is wonderful, it has a nice bar to have a drink when you arrive. The rooms are always 5 star clean and perfect! Great bedding and rooms with fireplaces and jacuzzi! There’s a wonderful pool and jacuzzi, movie theatre, and packages you can choose from to help make your stay even more wonderful! I love getting a romantic getaway package we get a lovely comfy room it’s quiet and always perfect! We walk over to Jonathan’s have a lovely meal that included in package, enjoy a few drinks and walk back! No driving!! Also you can order up spa treatments or culinary sessions!! Can’t say enough about this spot! You will not be disappointed with your stay!!"
"We stayed here for 3 nights and this place is really nice. The premises are kept in painstakingly great shape. The groundskeeping is extremely professional. The pools and hot tubs are incredibly clean and the rooms are very nice! The staff is absolutely incredible! We were in the outdoor pool when the head maintenance manager was sorking on some things and we got into a nice and enjoyable conversation with him. Amazingly when we were done he thanked us for staying at Meadowmere and told us that our conversation had enriched his day and he meant it! Anyone that gives this place a low score on ANY level is on something....."

"Hotel is well located at the end of the Mile Road, next to CVS and across from the grocery store plaza. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was immaculate. With covid precautions, we felt completely safe and not over burden. Plenty of sanitizer at various locations, room service was request only, and there was a process to exchange towels and get other toiletries dropped off. The room was minimalist with only a remote and phone to eliminate touchable surfaces. Breakfast was grab and go. We did not use, but heard the pool and hot tub was reservation only. Plenty of parking. You can miss with this property."
"Had a very pleasant weekend stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room, lobby and grounds were very clean and well maintained. No housekeeping during the stay (as stated at check-in) but easy to get new linens or towels if requested. There is a seal on the door confirming room sanitizing and vacancy. Beds were very comfortable and room was quiet. Highly recommend and would stay again"
"Very nice hotel for the price. Used AAA discount . Breakfast was convienent but not great.. complementary coffee, tea and hot chocolate in lobby all day was nice touch. We used the pool and it was very clean . The room was clean and bed comfortable . Only negative was the room was so hot and stuffy. We had heat all the way down but didn’t sleep well bc it was so stuffy . Overall nice hotel and would stay again but would bring our own fan :) "

"We had our usual expectation of what we get at a Hampton Inn. But this one, at only three years old (we were told) was nicely decorated for Halloween and pleasantly designed. From the sliding barn door, vinyl floor planking and oversize glass doored shower was impressive for this price range hotel. Caroline at the front desk was very friendly and great at dinner suggestions. Room and property were quiet. Pool looked inviting but we didn't partake. Bed and room was very comfortable. Room was very clean (including the HVAC filters). We look forward to returning."
"We were very happy staying at this hotel. It is set outside of town near the highway entrances, so it was easy to find and quiet. Our reception from a Holly couldn’t have been nicer. Our room was wonderfully clean and well appointed. The breakfast is well balanced and the staff tending to the restaurant area are friendly. In fact, all of the staff goes out of their way to greet you and are genuine. We were very please and will return."
"The hotel is excellent, loved the indoor heated pool. But what was the best thing about this hotel is the staff. We stayed here during the COVID-19 crisis and the staff helped us immensely. We were able to find a local restaurant to deliver to the hotel, and the meal was incredible. It was from the Boathouse restaurant in Kennebunkport. We will never forget this Inn as being our "port in the storm.""

"We stayed at The Anchorage Inn for 3 nights at the end of July/beginning of August 2019. We had seen the hotel the year before when we visited the New England area, and I immediately researched it when we got home. The hotel is located across the street from Long Sands beach and the Sun & Surf restaurant. The views of not only the beach, but also of the coastline and Nubble Lighthouse are fantastic! We were so busy enjoying the beach and the rest of the area that we never made it to the pool(s). The room was nice - clean with what appeared to be fairly new linens, and it looked like it had recently been painted. The bonus for our family was the extra space (i.e. small side room) with bunk beds as it can be difficult to find rooms for a family of 5. The bathroom was a little tight but with the sink outside of that space someone can brush their teeth or wash up while others are showering. We used the mini fridge as we always do, and it was nicely hidden into the side of the entertainment center. The on-site parking offers plenty of spots and we were mostly able to park right in front of our room. We were able to walk down the street to get breakfast sandwiches, ice cream, snacks, etc. Also, a short drive down the road is the town area of York with more restaurants, an arcade and some shops. Overall, for location, the affiliation with the Sun & Surf restaurant, and the bed accommodations, I really enjoyed this hotel."
"We stayed for 3 nights. The room is basic but exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had a queen ocean view that we booked through trip advisor. The front desk was awesome. Super helpful and friendly. This is a great place for families and couples or singles. The rooms are quite and we took the tip to stay on the third floor. We will definitely stay again on our next trip that way. Thank you for helping to make our trip incredible!"
"Booked very last minute on a spur of the moment trip. Only one night, but very easy to book. Check in was easy. Room was immaculate and super clean. Bed was ok. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice stay. Great amenities, and view. Will be back. Thank you "

"Check-in was quick but we had to change rooms because of the noise (They gave us the first room besides the main office facing the main road very noisy). Then we got a room in back where it's quiet . All the rooms are very big and most come with a refrigerator and a micro wave. Our fridge made some noise...Beds where wife and clean but pillows we not to par and and a little outdated un-pleasant scent. Bathroom was spacious and clean.and well equipped. The furniture was old and a bit outdated and scratched but functional. Breakfast was simple .We got some bananas as fruits on our third day of stay. The area is located just adjacent to front desk and is kept clean. During the summer, there is an outside pool. We decided to stay a forth night because of the fair weather and we had to change rooms that was situated facing the road but near the back. The furniture, although of tghe same period was less damaged by time. The upkeep was A-Ok and clean! Check-out was almost a nightmare, the person who I had seen to reserve an extra night had half done his job and the morning we left, they couldn't find our receipt for our first 3 nights. We needed that for crossing back to Canada with what we had bought. The person at the desk didn't know where to look. After a lot of explaining she finally looked in an envelope right beside her computer and everything was there... "Location location" .The main reason for booking there that you just cross the road to get to the outlets. But now there's a newer and bigger hotel in town at the entrance of the Kittery outlets. So you'll have to compare prices and decide what exactly your looking for."
"This is an older motel adjacent to the Kittery Premium Outlets so the location couldn’t be better but it needs updating. There was no fridge or microwave in our room as advertised and the mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was good and the room where it was served was clean and orderly."
"Clean and cozy room. Definitely a motel so nothing fancy but very comfortable. The 24 hour coffee and tea were nice. Breakfast was simple but good. Check in was efficient and courteous. You could hear people when they walked by the door. I would return"

"Just returned from Ogonquit, Maine and our annual stay at Gorges Grant. It is a lovely hotel, in a great area of town, it is so clean, well decorated and has so many amenities. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. There is a nice indoor pool and hot tub, and for summertime,a beautiful outdoor pool as well. There is also a very nice breakfast restaurant in the hotel. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, the lobby has a lovely sitting area with coffee provided at various times of the day, and our room was spacious, pretty, and even had a Keurig in it. I highly recommend Gorges Grant for your stay in Ogonquit. "
"During this time of COVID-19, we greatly appreciated the efforts put forth to keep us safe. The rooms were spotless,we requested no housekeeping but did ask for more tp & trash bags and they were left outside our door within 5 minutes. The location was perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of “downtown “ but close enough to walk there. There was outdoor dining close enough to walk to plus there was take-out. Only thing I can think to add would be a nice fire pit so we could have stayed outside longer....got pretty chilly once the sun went down"
"service was great and accommodating, room was clean, roomy and up to date. beds were clean very comfortable. bathroom has modern, clean and spacious. facilities such as swimming pools were great. fitness room equipment was modern and would accommodate all aspects of fitness. The in house restaurant was excellent including service. The grounds are well manicure and have much curb appeal. Walking distance to the town of Ogunquick. I would recommend this facility to anyone. I will go back in the near future."

"We booked this room for a last-minute get-a-way and have discovered a place we will probably come back to each summer. I saw some people complain about musty or mildew smell so we were hesitant. What a mistake it would have been to pass this over because of those reviews. The decor in the rooms are dated but in a quaint way. This is the most meticulously maintained and clean property I have ever been to. This is not a cookie-cutter chain hotel. This is a small family-owned business and as amazing as the condition of the property is it is even more amazing when you realize the owner (Gary) is a one man show. Gary was awesome! Great dinner suggestions and very responsive if you have questions or need anything. People complaining about being charged after check out to park for the beach. What do you expect? These are places that probably make a majority of their annual income of a very few months out of the year. If you are looked for a clean, well maintained place with charm.....you'll not only want to stay here but you'll want to support a small business in a way that makes sure it will be there for years to come. We will be back next summer for a longer stay."
"Today my family made a spontaneous decision to head to the beach and find a hotel for the night. We ended up getting a room at this hotel via Expedia. Checking in Gary was very friendly and considerate of the safety of my small children by making sure we had a room on the bottom floor. The grounds were beautiful and pool looked inviting. Unfortunately we had to cut or stay short. Less than an hour after checking in I went to get our things out of my van and when I opened the trunk door a folding chair fell out and landed on my big toe and broke my toe. We decided it was best to go home. Even though we were there only like 45min, Gary was unable to refund us, but he did issue us a credit to use in the future. We greatly appreciate this! So now I'm home nursing a throbbing, purple, broken toe, but atleast I can look forward to a future stay and visit to York. Thank you for being understanding Gary."
"This Inn was pretty average, nothing special. However, the network was horrible and it was very slow. The owner is strict and sometimes rude- I found myself waiting for a long time 30 minutes just to get an extra key. The styling is very very dated, the wallpaper is cheap, the Tv is cheap, the stylings very cheap!!! The mattresses are decent, but the bed is awful - it’s very creaky and we are given one pillow, that’s very soft with no neck support. My neck was aching when I woke up. Microwave is on the table where we eat, so we had to move it around the room! The pool was very very small!! And only 5-feet. The TV had limited Chanels, and was confusing to use. I would recommend going to the Anchorage Inn instead, it has better value with an indoor and outdoor pool. Owner also has a questionable past- other reviewers from 2016 claimed he was verbally abusive!!"
