The bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. They include a small kitchenette with fridge and coffee making facilities. The spa facilities were also excellent. I’ve never seen so many hydrotherapy jets and jacuzzis in one hotel. We enjoyed the sound bath, massages and floatarium. There was a daily programme of wellness activities including yoga, Pilates, sound baths etc. The staff on reception were excellent, with an efficient and friendly check in / check out. The buffet breakfast was good with a wide selection of hot, cold and wellness breakfast items. The major downside was the restaurant and bar service. There were very few staff available to serve food and drinks, so dinner service was incredibly slow despite the best efforts of the waiters / waitresses. It is a short 10 minute walk to the restaurants in town so we found this was a reliable alternative option for speedy service and a wider menu. There are restrictions around pool access for children. Accommodation in building 2 has a large pool that is accessible to 5-12 year olds. In building 1, there is a small unheated pool for 5-12 year olds (very cold water even in mid August) and an aqua play area for small children. The other pools in building 1 are exclusively for over 12s. Building 2 is better for families as it also houses the kids club, but the differences between the two buildings weren’t clear when we booked. The styling at the hotel is eclectic. It has a unique maximalist style with an incredible array of colourful props and lighting styles in every space of the hotel. We found it fun, but not a hotel for minimalists. The Augusta is primarily a spa with excellent accommodation. If it can improve its food and drink offerings, it would truly deliver on its ‘relax’ promise. More broadly, Sanxenxo has a lovely beach and lively seafront with lots of restaurants and ice cream shops.

This hotel was a highlight of our recent visit to Galicia. The photos online seemed perhaps too good to be true, but happily, this place is every bit as good as it looks. It's one of two places in our experience where my wife has said ”Can we afford this?” as we arrived. My best guess about it being truly affordable is that Villagarcia de Arosa is a bit off the beaten path. This is good news for travelers - our room was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was one of the best we encountered, and our dining experiences in the bar were delightful. The only glitch I encountered was, being a massive stone building, that wifi tended not to extend into the rooms. The upside was that when I needed a better connection, I ended up spending more time in the magnificent common areas than I typically do in hotels. Between the gardens/grounds and multiple grand rooms extending off the lobby, this was one of the most enjoyable hotels to explore that I've ever visited.

No me quiero extender mucho y prefiero que sean las fotos las que ofrezcan por sí solas el por qué del título.Pase este fin de semana del primero de julio y la verdad es que en lo referente a la habitación asignada (la 3000),los desperfectos y cosas subsanables que encontré no pertenecen a un hotel ni de dos estrellas.Desperfectos que son fácilmente subsanables y que para mí,la dejadez y desidia hacen que no se reparen. Por otro lado decir que yo cuando pido una cama de matrimonio no pretendo una cama de 3X3,ni dos camas juntas con dos colchones,como nos ocurrió. Y tampoco entiendo que me dé den una habitación con baño ”adaptado” y con unos hierros en el wáter muy molestos.Es cierto que en principio era para una noche y luego llamé para quedarme dos,pero eso son cosas para decir al cliente y este que decida si quiere dos camas juntas.Otra cosa que me molestó y mucho es que permitan fumar en la terraza de l desayuno que es casi totalmente cerrada ( con techo que se puede abrir,pero que estaba los dos días cerrado con apenas 20 cm de apertura ( lo pueden ver en las fotos que otros huéspedes pusieron) Y finalmente si me molestó también bastante el hecho de la salida que no le pregunten a uno que tal la estancia,o como se encontraron Nunca nos había pasado.Eso si te entregan una hoja con unos descuentos para futuras visitas (🤐,😂😉). El desayuno correcto ( si mejoraría un cambio de look a los camareros,y quizás un incentivo para sacarles una sonrisa).El Spa,ni idea.En fin,lo dicho ,le sobran estrellas.

Stayed in a standard room on the second floor ( first if you are British). Room was spacious with a generous sized bathroom. Furniture rather tired and a bit tatty but the bed was super comfortable and 6feet wide. Bedding was lovely as were the towels. Good shutters kept the room dark and the air conditioning was quiet. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. We had dinner only once during our stay and it was awful. Don’t eat in the dining room. The cafeteria food was fine, same kitchen. There are plenty of good restaurants just up the road on the right, a few minutes away. Breakfast was okay if a little uninspiring. The pool was freezing and it was difficult to find a lounger in the afternoon, but there is a changing room and toilets close by. I have stayed at better Paradors eg Cordoba.

It was the cheapest hotel on our entire trip and it wasn’t the worst by far! We got our room in what seemed to be the “new” area and it was spacious, clean and quiet! The spa was lovely too and my friends massage a total bonus on the experience! We also had dinner in the restaurant and it was all a great experience! We decided to go down to the buffet breakfast and it was a bit of a let down compared to the rest of the facilities: toasters weren’t working properly, cereal selection was a bit poor, but that’s just been picky! I would 100% come back!
