Via G. Aichino 6/8 (Angolo Via Chanoux), Saint Vincent, Valle d'Aosta, Italy
"Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Italy! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had five great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. Hotel de la Ville has Spa Center which has everything for get yourself relax. They have very offerings. The natural bath on the end was a great way to end the trekking. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!"
"The hotel is nicely placed in the center of St Vincent. Really nice welcome to book the place (answer on the phone without waiting) and on arrival but the place is a little bit outdated apart from the bathroom. Note that the room rate includes a 4h entry to the St Vincent Termes (35€ pp) but without wardrobe and slippers. Room is clean but noisy (noise of the bathroom when people are using restroom. Breakfast disappointing: Industrial powder fruit juice and no bacon but ham OK as well as pastry. Breakfast room in the basement disappointed.... no view outside. Avoid hotel if disabled (entry by stairs .... parking outside premises- 6 EUR per day)."

"The hotel is situated in Vall Aosta in a very prominent area near the centre. It has plenty of nice views from the hotel such as seeing the nice mountains. The hotel is manned 24 hours and there was no problem of getting a coffee even late at night. Christina was very helpful and i would definetly stay here again should i decide to come over for a holiday with my family. l recomend this hotel to anyone wishing to come over for a holiday in St vincent. Joe Zammit Pavia travelling from MALTA"
"We really enjoyed our stay in Au Soleil Hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. They took a lot of care of us. Our room wasn`t super spacious but very clean and with very nice view over mountains. Hotel is located just next to the Casino. The nerest shop is in around 4-5 minutes by foot. Breakfasts were tasty. I would add some fresh wegetables. Dinners were also very tasty."
"We had a great night and a fantastic breakfast, and then realized that we’d made a mistake and hadn’t booked the 2 nights we thought we had. The staff gave us a couple extra hours to get our things together, and the man at the front desk called every hotel in St. Vincent and found us a new room for the night. Outstanding service! "

"We stayed here on our way from Genoa port to UK. We didn’t arrive until 9.45pm. A welcome note on the door with instructions on how to enter hotel and get our key, was to be found. We booked via email and had not paid a penny until our stay. We were very impressed with how trusting they were. Good size car park. The room was huge with a very large double and single bed. Bathroom was also big. All lovely and clean. Only thing missing was tea making facility. We slept really well and awoke refreshed to go to breakfast. Croissants, muffins, fruit and lovely tea and coffee. A fantastic location just off the main road with a service station just down the road for filling up the tank prior to leaving. Huge thank you to Maurizio."
"Stayed one night while walking via Francigena. Room good size, had a bath which was nice. They provided a table in the corridor with a jug, coffee and tea so you could help yourself(I assume since no one told us otherwise) Room was very hot and no fan was available (2 other people we spoke to said the same) so trying to sleep was an issue. If a/c is not available then maybe have fans. Was like trying to sleep in a sauna. Breakfast the next morning was usual. Wifi very spasmodic."
"Small hotel but equipped very well: wi-fi, flat TV and frige available in each room. Large, comfortable bed and nice & clean bathroom. Breakfast served with different choice of options. Very nice service. Pity that restaurant is closed thou. Great views od Valle d'Aosta all arountd."

Route Ramey 65, Champoluc, Aosta Valley, Valle d'Aosta, Italy
"Unfortunately we only managed to spend 2 nights in this hotel due to the resort closure because of the Coronavirus. Such a shame as the hotel perfectly met our expectations and requirements. Comfy beds, clean rooms and good food. Our two boys particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast with the amazing pancake machine! Don’t go here expecting modern styling and brand new facilities. This is a great family hotel that isn’t pretentious or precious. Perfect for families and those looking for good quality and value for money. Thanks too to the Esprit/Inghams staff who ensured we were kept informed through the ‘evacuation’ process and got us home within 24hrs of the closure being announced. We’re very worried about how Max and the rest of the team with cope with the resort closure and hope you’ll be able to keep things going so we can come back again next year."
"We spent a wonderful week on our Esprit holiday at Hotel de Champoluc. The hotel is in a perfect location for the slopes & local amenities. It is run by Max & a great team who looked after & helped us throughout our stay. The food by the Italian chefs was very good. The bedroom spacious & well maintained as well as the general hotel comfortable & super friendly. Equally the Esprit team were great & were always on hand to ensure we were getting the most of our holiday. Our 5 year old loved the ski lessons (& lots more, with particular thanks to Ellie) whilst our 18 month old had a lot of fun in the excellent crèche (with particular thanks to Lara, Megan & Jenny) Lovely walks, sledging, parks & the spa made our trip a great family experience. A quiet resort (over UK half term) & somewhere we hope to return soon. J Helme "
"We had a great time at this hotel. The manager and staff were all excellent they couldn’t do enough for you. The food was of an excellent standard - best I have had in a chalet hotel - lots of Italian food and other alternatives. The chef took real pride in the high quality meals. Our boys loved the pancake maker at breakfast. Tea available all day and lovely cakes at afternoon tea. Good quality wine. Rooms comfortable. The inghams rep Veronica was v helpful and knowledgable about the local area including ski runs. If you want a few blues for a change the bus to Antagnod is 10 mins and is v quiet. Village lots of character. "

Via Trois Villages, 291, Brusson, Valle d'Aosta, Italy
"Hotel Laghetto is situated just outside the lake which is accompanied by its mesmerizing surrounding mountains. We arrived a little too early but that wasn't a problem we got our rooms immediately. Receptionist kind and welcoming. Room was fairly sized and clean, however furniture rather outdated. Mattresses were fine and not too soft. Wi-Fi not too strong. Restaurant a little pricey, but food is good. Not too much too choose from at the breakfast buffet and no international breakfast either. Free parking just outside the hotel"

Frazione Montaz 35, Valtournenche, Valle d'Aosta, Italy
"After some extensive on-line searching, I selected Hotel Millefiori for a Christmas ski trip for my family of five. It turned out to be a great decision! We arranged for the hotel to take us to and from MXP, as well as to most places we needed to go, as we did not rent a car. The staff is very friendly, speaks several languages, including good English, and works very hard to assure the guests have a great experience. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. There is a large common area with a well stocked honor bar and snacks. The guests all mingle and we met people from many countries here, and at the meals. Their breakfast buffet is extensive and includes several egg preparations, meats, breads, pancakes, bakery items, fresh orange juice and many other items! The hotel provided, free of charge, a guide on three days we skied. First was Jovani (apologies for likely misspelling) who knows the mountain well and was able to get us around efficiently and provided good pointers as well as described the area and pointed out many things we would have missed. My three lids (17, 21 and 24) are good skiers and really enjoyed skiing with him! He is a coach for Swedish youth national team, so obviously highly qualified. We met all the guides at some point and they are a great group of people that have a hearty sense of humor, and know the area well! On the third day, Micke, the owner, provided a guide, Kim, to take my two boys off-piste. They had the time of their lives....deep powder, steep and challenging terrain. They provided all the necessary ABS equipment needed for this. We had our own ski equipment, except for the ABS, but they have a large shop and can accommodate any needs for rentals right on-site and from what I saw their equipment is very nice. We had Christmas dinner here, as well as dinner another night. Both were delicious and everyone in my family enjoyed both. Micke and the staff prepares each meal and everyone eats the same thing, with a seating at 7:30 pm. One night was a huge burger dish, and on Christmas he served a delicious beef schnitzel. I’m sure they would accommodate any dietary concerns if you speak with them in advance. In short, we had a memorable stay and I definitely recommend the hotel! If you are considering a ski holiday, or summer hiking holiday, reach out to Micke."
"We stayed at Hotel Millefiori from Boxing Day to the 31st December 2019 and had a wonderful stay. The hotel has a warm welcoming feel and is run by a lovely bunch of staff from Sweden and Italy who all chip in and help out doing everything from picking up at the airport, cooking and leading the ski tours. This can lead to a slightly chaotic feel in the mornings but I didn’t mind this - it feels like staying at a friends house rather than an impersonal hotel which I liked and underneath it all it is organised and everyone gets to the slopes on time. The rooms are cosy, warm and decorated simply in a Scandinavian style, the beds were comfortable - there are no TV’s which adds to the rustic feel of the hotel but the WiFi is strong for anyone wanting to keep feeling connected. The breakfast is fantastic- we all love our food and everything is fresh and homemade- from pastries to cooked breakfast all tastes are catered for. There is an honesty bar in the lounge area as well as books and board games to be taken advantage of. Every afternoon after a day on the slopes there would be some amazing baked creation to eat. My boyfriend said the cakes were the best he has eaten ever. I hadn’t been skiing in 10 years and was nervous about getting onto the slopes again- the hotel has its own ski room where we were kitted out and their own instructors for lessons or daily guided tours. We had a fantastic guide ‘Johan’ who was extremely knowledgable about the area and was very good with my two teenage children and gave me the confidence to get back on the slopes. After a day of being guided around I felt confident enough to go off on my own for the rest of the time we were there which was fantastic. My only disappoint is that we couldn’t have stayed longer as we had a magical trip"
"Our stay at Millefiori Hotel was the best !!! All the staff working there were very kind. We love all meals, especially the dinners. The owner knows how to conduct business because he participates in everything from skiing with guests to cooking. We meet people from everywhere. Every afternoon, after skiing, people would stay in the living room to meet and exchange experiences of the day and life. Michael taught my daughter how to ski, he was very kind. Thank you all for our pleasant and perfect stay ... we will be back !!!"

"Nothing fancy and probably a really great place for winter and skiing. We were there in Summer. Wonderful owners and very accommodating to special dietary needs. Good location and near town center and the ski lifts! Beautiful summer views "
"Tired building with small rooms. Front of house and waiting staff great, let down by chef. Interesting village but really not enough of anything to recommend it as a destination. Passing through on the way to Champoluc."

Loc. Soleil 3, Chatillon, Valle d'Aosta, Italy
"I was warmly welcomed on arrival in the foyer with delightful deer head sculptures on the walls. I had walked 30kms of the Via Francigena and was delighted with how comfortable my bed was for a recovery nap. The room and the bathroom were very clean. There was a lovely bar nearby for a recovery Prosecco and not far away a supermarket with a good range of food needed for my lunch on the pilgrim trail next day. This hotel is ideally situated for those walking the Via Francigena. What's more the breakfast next day included five different cereals, however, the piece de resistance was the scrambled eggs cooked to order."
"There was a very friendly and informative lady on reception who made me feel welcome on arrival, despite my hair being all over the place after cycling down the back roads from Aosta. I had a very nice room at the front of the hotel looking across the valley to the mountains, and there was a room in the hotel where I put my bicycle overnight. Nice restaurant and excellent meal and wine. Good selection for breakfast in the morning, and not at all expensive, by my standards."
"Booked while on the road & had a comfy room with mountain views. We spend the night in the hotel but had dinner in the restaurant underneath the hotel. Very good choice, as the restaurant was very well decorated and the food was excellent. Close to all amenities and the autostrada. Ideal for Bikers too. Regards Ray "

"stayed with the family for 4 days. the hotel demonstrated at every front high standard. the rooms are comfy spacious and very clean. good water pressure in the shower and wifi ok ad and stable. the breakfast is a bit simple but you get all you need.location is brilliant , you are located at the start of the main rd with all the pubs n restaurants, on top,it has a lovely stuff always with a smile at your disposal. as for car park , there is a very good car park less then 1 min walk from the hotel - you need to take some steps down but nothing too difficult and you easily access your car. the rate for 24 hours is 4 Euro.you can offload you stuff upon arriving the hotel just opposite the hotel but this is for a very short time and than you have to move n park you car.bottom line - very recommended hotel."
"On this trip we decided to stop off on the Italian side of the Alps, previously we have gone through the Mont Blanc tunnel into France. That was a great decision, St Vincent is a very charming and relaxed town, smart cobbled streets and pavements. The hotel is easy to drive to, good access to the main entrance, secure parking for the car. The hotel is lovely. Family run, with attentive & very helpful staff available. Room was very comfortable, and quiet. Very close to the roads leading up into the mountains and passes. We will certainly stay here again"
"Nice hotel in absolutely lovely little town. Loved the area and people in the town. Would recommend to everyone to visit. Hotel it self had few prons. Rooms are quite small even though we had queen's room (that's what it was called) but it was tiny. Very lit to choose on breakfast except for big jar of Nutella with all the kids in the hotel loving it. Cons: every day cleaned very well (except for top of the wardrobe in the room had all possible dust on my clothes), staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was brilliant right in the middle of little town. Parking available for €4.50 a day just a couple of minutes away from the hotel. Overall was very good."
