C/ Villa Madrid 15, Torrevieja, Valencia Community, Spain
"Just home from a 2 week holiday here. It’s bed and continental breakfast they serve. Small bar where you can also get ice lollies and bottled water. There’s a small fridge in the room but remember that it won’t be on when you go out so e.g milk wont last, (I took a wee kettle n cups with me). Rooms cleaned and towels replaced on a daily basis. Hotel is immaculate. There’s a lift for the six floors. Barbara at reception is so helpful. Reception gives you free photocopies and phone taxis for you. There are a few tables out the front of the hotel if you want to eat breakfast or drink there. The swimming pool is across the road in at the top left hand side of the car park. You use your room card at the car park machine to get into the car park. It’s a lovely pool and there are plenty of seats/sun beds. There’s also an area next to the pool to sit and relax. There are 3 small supermarkets close to the hotel. The closest is when you come out the hotel and turn left, continue walking a block or so and cross at the Santander bank which is on your right. The shop is along past the side of Santander on the right hand side. You can’t beat Minos for very reasonable food and drinks. You enter by the door where there’s tables outside. You can get an hourly bus to and from Alicante airport to Torrevieja. It is a direct bus, takes 50 mins and cost 7€ a person. When you go right from the hotel, at the bottom of the road turn left. Heading down that road takes you along the front where there are stalls, bars and restaurants. Near the “wall of water” there’s a restaurant that serves 3 course meals (great variety of dishes) for €7.90. Plenty of kids play areas, especially from the right of the hotel head straight up to the top of the road and you will see a “dinosaur” in the right, that’s the kids chute in that park. It’s a lovely park with geese, swans etc, overall a great holiday 👍"
"We stayed here for 4 nights in September, we found it to be an excellent low budget hotel. It’s located in a residential area but only minutes walk away from the sea front and less than 10 minutes to the bars and promenade. Our room was fine, a large clean room with a very comfortable bed with a small balcony and bathroom with shower over the bath. The breakfast was a bit limited with lots of carbs and terrible coffee but adequate, there is a bar with some outside street seating that serve good coffee and there is parking and a swimming pool with sun beds and a play area on the opposite side of the road. We would definitely use this hotel again"
"Hotel was in a great position close to everything you needed, rooms were clean and comfortable, Staff very friendly especially Celia on Reception, she went out of her way to help us with any queries, even assisting us by coming with us to a Cash machine, as we were having difficulty using it The pool area was spotless and comfy we would definitely recommend this hotel . Avenida de la Libertad, 64, Guardamar Del Segura, Valencia Community, Spain
"Great location opposite the beach (crossing a minor road) within walking distance to restaurants and a supermarket. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. A payable parking needs to be booked, and is secured with a badge to gain entry and exit. The rooms were comfortable (great beds!) and they are eco-friendly, not supplying products in plastic, but providing combo wash-gels installed in the shower and toilet which I found forward-thinking and refreshing change. The breakfast buffet was basic and not very tasty, to be honest. The hot food was cold - even first thing in the morning. Was low season so top floor bar was closed, and the 'spa' (jacuzzi) didn't seem to be in use. Good location though in a residential area just off the highway so was easy to find."
"We booked two rooms (Junior suite and a double room) here for a one week stay out of season in late October. The rooms both had uninterrupted views of the ocean. Junior Suite was a nice size although not overly large. Double room was a bit small for two people to share. Rooms were very clean and house staff did a nice job of cleaning the rooms each day. Breakfast okay but nothing special. Probably skip it in the future and buy breakfast outside the hotel. Great supermarket a short distance away. Limited parking on site (about 8 cars?), so if you want parking book. No parking nearby in the high season. Would stay here again."
"Took family member for surprise birthday treat...... Great hotel very clean and very quick check-in..... Private pool available and only five if that minutes stroll to the beach..... Private secure carpark if required...... Very clean and well stocked bar......"

Urbanización Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Orihuela, Valencia Community, Spain
"Not actually sure how this hotel retains a 4 star status. I’m guessing the only thing keeping this open are the golfers during peak season. I’m a seasoned traveler to all standards of hotel so this isn’t a rant from someone who stays at the best places. We stayed here from the 4th-11th of September, here are my comments: 1. Worst breakfast ever, beyond any doubt. Cold food and when challenged the waiter he just put new warmers under the tray which simply the heated poor food. Recipe for Salmonella ! Complained and was treated like a leper. 2. Majority of the staff need to go on an extensive customer service course for about a year. Some were dreadful. There was however, one waiter that was very good. His name was Roberto 3. Bar closes, not sure what time but we came back before 23:00 hours on two occasions and it was closed...,.HOTEL ??? 4. Golf course only had 9 holes open which were all on temporary greens due to hollow coring and dressing. Still 30 euros !!!.....played at Los Ramblas for 35 Euros 18 holes on proper greens. Nice course too !! 5. Very clean though and housekeeping staff were very nice. 6. Location great if your playing Golf but too far from Villa Martin Plaza which seems to be the only lively place to drink/eat. Would never stay in this resort again but I think this hotel will close in the next two years unless the owner has bottomless pockets as you just could not sustain a business like this. "
"Had a junior suite which was excellent with fabulous views over the golf course. Although we did not come to play golf the position and the views were superb. The staff were very polite attentive and helpful. The breakfast of fresh foods was extremely good. Having travelled over Spain extensively this was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Car parking facilities were first class and free."
"This is a difficult one to review, as we came primarily to play golf, but Mother Nature ruined it! The course was restricted to nine holes due to the recent flooding and had been tined, so wasn't an enjoyable experience. Also, with the swimming pool being shut, our entertainment options were pretty reduced. HOWEVER, the suite was gorgeous, Breakfast good and varied, Service excellent, and the food in the Restaurant worthy of a visit in its own right. With all the facilities restored, we wouldn't hesitate to revisit."

Avenida Orihuela , 75 - Urb. Los Balcones, Torrevieja, Valencia Community, Spain
"WHAT IS A SPA? “Sanus Per Aquam” – Health by or through water. The definition includes the following words:- Improving health, beauty and relaxation, personal care, treatments, massage, medicinal baths, hot springs, luxury, health benefits, water treatment, holistic, wellness, de-stress, enjoy, pampering, escape, balneotherapy, mineral, vapour, cure, ritual, purification, healing, purifying, shower, fountain, heat, hot thermal, relieve suffering, sweating, resting, bathing, restore health, hydrotherapy, care, opulent, soaking, medical benefits, circulating, therapy, natural, tumbling waters, aromatherapy, footbath, jet hydro massage, swan neck, sauna, steam bath, Hamman, devoted to overall wellbeing, renewal of mind body and spirit, healthy, tranquil, peace, calm, quiet, bubbles, aroma, essential oils, candles, harmony ………… It does NOT include - Noisy screaming children ……… not anywhere, at any time …….. Shocked to discover, when entering the Spa, that a couple with a child aged about 4 was also “using” the Spa. Totally ruined my experience, he screamed and shouted, was not supervised by his parents, kept opening the door to the steam room and letting out all the heat, banging other doors, then the worst part, decided to push past me whilst I was trying to relax in the pool and kicked me in the leg – nice bruise formed later ………. When will the management of this Hotel get a grip? I have been staying here regularly since it opened. I have repeatedly complained about this, but yesterday was the final straw, will never stay again. A Spa is for adults only, it is not a childrens play area. If they want to offer children a pool in the winter, they should heat the outside pool, not inflict the noise and disruption on people who have paid money to try and relax."
"This was a three-night stopover but proved to be a very nice hotel. Modern, boutique style, close to Torrevieja (definitely better than being in town!). Large comfortable rooms with good facilites. Excellent roof-terrace with great views over the lagoon. Breakfast was 'ok' and perhaps the only disappointing element. Service wasn't especially friendly either. Conversely, dinner was very nice indeed (sports-bar style eats). Good food, nice quality and excellent service. We also made golf bookings through their excellent golf-concierge."
"We spend 3 nights at this modern Hotel Dona Monse. We like so much the roof space (Pink Cafe) a chill terrace overlooking the Laguna Rosa and the Mediterranean Sea. Also there's a nice Restaurant “El Cucharón” we had a nice dinner. There's also a nice Gym and SPA center but we don't have time to discovery."

"My Mum and I recently visited this hotel as we were attending a nearby family wedding. I was impressed with the appearance on the whole; the room was pleasant and we had a lovely balcony. The pool area had a nice atmosphere too - aqua aerobics took place daily. A major letdown was the staff and their lack of customer service skills. As soon as we arrived, the receptionist barely greeted us and continued to use her mobile phone. We tried to ask her for directions to a nearby hairdressers that we’d booked into but she wasn’t interested in helping us. We then asked her whether she could book us a taxi to take us to the wedding. This didn’t come on time and when we asked her, she was adamant that we had said a later time when we had made the time very clear. The taxi man had very little knowledge of the area which resulted in us getting lost and missing the bride walking down the aisle, therefore, I am not sure which taxi company the hotel regularly use. The next day, we ordered a couple of wines at the pool bar to take up to our room. The staff said they’d need to check whether we could do this with management. We were then cast aside for 5 minutes whilst other customers were served and management were consulted. Upon asking, the staff still didn’t know whether we were allowed to take drinks to our room. We suggested plastic cups but this still seemed to be an issue. Upon checking out, the receptionst didn’t even say ‘bye’ let alone wish us a safe flight or ask us about our stay. The staff were majorly rude and dismissive which did impact on our overrall stay. I certainly wouldn’t book again. "
"We have just returned from a 5 day stay at the orihuela costa resort. Almost as soon as we arrived, this area of Spain started a 15 day lock down due to measures taken to prevent the spread of the virus. From the moment we arrived Monica and her staff could not do enough for us, all of the meals in the hotel were delicious and nothing was too much trouble. I would like to say a big thank you and can’t recommend this hotel enough . As soon as we can we will definitely be returning here. Adam and Louise Naylor"
"This Hotel about 500meters from the La Zenia beach has a superb swimming pool for those that prefer safer water. Meals in the Hotel are excellent and the menu will satisfy alll tastes. This hotel also caters for conferences for business and societies. Entertainment is sometimes provided as I have seen Flamenco shows a couple of times whilst dining in the evening."

"Stayed at the hotel with 30 others - golf trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms weren't too small. Our trip was cut short by the closure of the Andalucian borders (coronavirus). Hotel have promised to refund the monies to those who had to return home (Mojacar Playa,Spain). Hotel is located 8 mins from La Marquesa Golf Club."
"We had a mini break for my friends birthday. We both had a super time and the hotel staff were all really helpful, friendly and the hotel itself was really nicely laid out. There is a slight lack of signage which ment we got lost a few times. "
"I recommend my friends. Because of the reasons above. Location very good not far from the beach.Near Allicante Torreviega and other cities where you find nice harbors an a lot of good restaurants recommandation to hire a car "

"Arrived on Saturday afternoon, nice pleasant receptionist. Room good and on corner, so fab view over salt lakes. Beautiful weather. I had a meeting straight away so unpacked and proceeded to look for the iron to freshen up shirts etc, none in room so I went to reception to get one. ‘Sorry but we don’t have irons!’ Was the reply. Seriously, a 4star hotel with no irons. Eventually after some strong ‘negotiations!’ The manager was called and she somehow got the clothes taken and ironed. But at a cost of €45. Seriously not amused!!! So if you go here, you’ll have a nice stay BUT take an iron or go to Lidl 0.5km away and buy one. I would love to stay here again but this would put me off. Breakfast is superb and the chef is very helpful. "
"We had reserved a junior suite. I wished for a room on the top floor facing south and it's exactly what we got. The room looked just like the pictures. It was clean and neat and had enough space for my husband to work. Not fancy but very good. We had a beautiful view of the salinas from the spacious balcony. Breakfast was excellent and had a lot of choices, from continental to full hot breakfast. We had one issue with the shower water pressure but it was fixed within one hour of reporting it. Staff in the reception was very helpful and courteous. I'm very pleased with the stay and will come back again."
"Good place and close to fine golfcourses, bath and much other things to do. The staff is fast when anything is reported broken or has to be replaced. It is the 12:th time we are here and that explains why we like it here."
