"This Parador is a typical “La Mancha” country house with long corridors and spacious gardens, a paradise for birds. Not only time seems to stand still here, for yourself it is an oasis of peace far from the sounds of traffic and cities. Check-in at the reception was friendly and professional by Alejandro Buendía and Juan Pizarroso. They gave us a warm welcome and the feeling coming home. The room (with a large cupboard) and bathroom (with a lot of amenities) were spacious and clean. The room has a large balcony with table and chairs. In the meantime, for me personally (by chronic back pain and sensitive articulation[articulaciones]), the mattresses of the beds are too hard. Maybe this can be solved by adding a “topper” in future cases? In the room we received nice attentions: two plates with fresh fruit and a bottle of mineral water. Very much appreciated. Serious point of attention: on both sides of the beds are very, very slippery floor rugs making it very easy to slip. Suggestion: remove these floor rugs! Cafeteria is very spacious and the service is great. The restaurant has a very good kitchen with friendly and professional personnel (a.o. María Teresa González). Check-out was friendly and professional. We enjoyed our 14th stay. Attention Madrid: when renovating this Parador, don’t make the mistake to replace the current spacious “sinks”!"
"Quiet location and great food. The staff were all very polite and helpful and the room was lovely with a great view. Our second visit to this Parador and we will definitely return and recommend to anyone travelling in this area of Spain "
