Top 10 Andover Hotels

We stayed here for a family wedding for which the location was ideal and the 2 room suite setup was great for our family. However the property appears to be quite dated and dirty and overall lacking general maintenance and upkeep. The layout of the rooms are good and location was convenient, but hard to look past the general lack of upkeep. For example the bathtub in our room did not have a drain. The sink in the bathroom was continuously clogged up and would not drain and the toilet paper holder was falling off of the wall. Also we tried to use the dishwasher and it started to pour water out of the front all over the floor so we were unable to use. Appreciate that it is a dog friendly property (we brought our dog) - but there was a LOT of dog poop around the property. Recognizing this is on the inconsiderate other dog owners but still is not sanitary. Finally - we had requested a crib or pack & play - but on check-in was told that the property only had 1 available and it was already in use (the others were broken). We were told the manager was trying to find a solution for us - but we never heard back from said manager. So we ended up having to go to local Walmart and buying a pack & play for ourselves out of pocket to use. Overall - the location with this room set up was convenient for us - but hard to recommend this property given the lack of upkeep/maintenance other points above.

Our first stay at this Holiday Inn Express in Mount Arlington NJ this week was quite a pleasant surprise, in so many ways. The hotel facility could not be more welcoming: clean, spacious rooms, ultra-comfortable bedding, and a coffee urn in the foyer. The morning breakfast buffet was also a treat—ample hot and cold foods served in a spacious room. (The pool was temporarily closed, thanks to Dr. Fauci’s guff.) Not least of all, the staff was superb. It turns out we visited on the one day when most staff were away for their annual families outing on the shore, so the managers were running things. When we mentioned this to manager Linda Dora, she graciously explained to us that this hotel’s staff feel “like a family,” and this shows to us guests. Not every organization does this. We thank you for this great experience.

I mistakenly booked the wrong check out date for my race and slowly but surely the staff was able to keep me in my room for almost my entire stay. I had a great room overlooking the front parking spaces, nice bathroom and plenty of storage. I had breakfast daily and was able to borrow a Iphone charger and toothpaste when I forgot to pack them. Made use of the mini refrigerator for my beer. Love being across the street from Applebees and a 5 minute drive from an awesome Italian joint. I made sure I booked the correct dates for 2023.

Rooms and facilities management are excellent, but the overall facilities are outdated. Breakfast was simple but good and staff was friendly

Wonderful stay. We were there for a 2 night stay because of a family wedding close by. The hotel was very clean, the grounds were kept up well, the breakfast bar had plenty of choices and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this Quality Inn if you want a simple, pleasant, and peaceful stay.
