We are able to make use of the odd spaces to put our luggage. Bath/toilets are even smaller. And usually we can smell a sewage smell in the bath room. What impress us is that though it is an old dated inn, Hotel has facilities for washing machine at 300 yen and dryer at 100 yen per 30 minutes. Japanese breakfast included was delicious and nutritious. Staff are always humble and friendly and informative. We can go to the lobby for coffee and bread (on the house) between 3 to 10pm. Rooms are clean and as days passed we forgot about the old property as staff are all cheerful and makes us happy. If hotel did not provide free breakfast, then the rate paid may not be worth for this hotel. I would only recommend this hotel to someone who needs breakfast and has a male companion and vigilant person.
