"This is my revised review of the place. The first one was one star only. Let me explain and start with the good topics first: The place is amazingly beautiful and the nicest hotel regarding building, rooms and gardens I so far had in Egypt (which were at least 6 five star hotels during last 10 years including brands like Hilton and Marriott). The decoration was still for Christmas beginning of March, but that was more a funny thing... Staff are very friendly, but mostly russian/Ukrainian speaking and few speak English, Spanish or German. But that was never an issue and all the guests behaved well. Rooms are big, everything worked and was clean. We had fruits and water bottles each day.  The ala carte restaurants (ex buffet restaurant, see below) are also extremely good. The show cooking is a highlight both from entertainment factor but really high class food (we had one of the best shrimp in our life). Also Italian restaurant we could try with excellent food and romantic atmosphere. Restaurants were very clean, delicious and consistently good service.  And the cocktail bar is also just amazing, good drinks, nice view and sometimes live music (nothing too loud).  My wife loved the massage from one of the girls. Sauna is small but hot and working basically full day. Jacuzzi is just in front and pretty nice also. The Hamam we haven't tried, but looked good and clean from outside. The guy at the spa entrance is a bit rude (asking for reservations, tells people when to enter and exit the hamam, whirlpool and sauna instead of just letting them in peace, which is quite funny to watch if he sends people from the hamam to the sauna while they want to relax and cool down first), but as long as you ignore him (not speaking the language well has some benefits ) he leaves you doing your thing as you like. And if you sit in the jacuzzi you can have some real fun watching him trying to chase guests from hamam to sauna directly. There is plenty of entertainment. The Zumba and Yoga classes each day were absolutely great. The night shows were ok (from really nice local dancing on the good side to a Fakir who mostly just offended good looking girls on the flip side), but this is probably individual taste and when we didn't like a show we went to the cocktail bar that usually had decent live music. So there are options available even in low season.  The hotel also offers taxi service for a reasonable price (maybe 25% above taxi cost a local would pay). Especially that they pick you up and have better cars is worthwhile taking their service. And you don't have to hazzle and negotiate for the price.  So why I originally gave one star only?  First, there were some misunderstandings on both sides eg on what is and what is not included. Seems Germans have more benefits than Russian/Ukrainian guests, but that was not proactively offered nor known by all of the staff. "Together with our family we have been in many hotels around the world, even Monte Carlo in Monaco, but this hotel indeed exceed our high standard expectations. Not surprisingly, as it originally was part of Ritz Carlton, so all the facilities, equipment is build for centuries with high quality material and designed in most beautiful manner. Bit what surprised us is 3 things: 1. The greenest and flourishing ever territory you can imagine - and what admire more it is built on desert, where barely nothing can survive. But thanks to watering and perfect gardening all flowers and grass are maintained well and make your eyes happy! In addition, the spacious territory has everything you need and we stay inside hotel for 2 weeks, keeping exploring new corners. 2. The hotel service- it is on top! Starting from cleaning, serving food, entertaining etc. and its all 24/7! Guys are working like crazy- honestly to please your desires! So pls dont forget to tip them, as not many people from post soviet country has this notion. 3. Sea! Beautiful sea just in your hotel beachfront with corals and amazing landscape. No words to describe. Just dive and you will understand what I mean. Overall, I rearly right reviews, not saying about positive, but this hotel deserve it! Honest review. Will come back here for sure."
"We hired a nice SEA VIEW ROOM. The room-boy cleaned bedroom every day and changed the bathroom and beach towels. All staff are very friendly and ready to assist you. We want to remarque the professionalism and enthusiastic behavior of the SPA CENTER STAFF. We enjoyed the Egypthian massage and hammam ritual. The animators team are very active and fun. The RED SEA is very beautiful, a lot of corals and friendly fish."

"I adore this hotel. Making plans to come back 20 days in may. Breakfast is flawless. Service is flawless. Rooms are immaculate impeccable and gorgeous. Staff goes out of your way and every capacity to help all their clients. Food on the other hand is a bit pricey. There is a place where you can walk about 350 m from the hotel that has like a food court with upscale restaurants. So I advise to go there for lunch and dinner if your breakfast is not included. The only problem I would say with this hotel is that the reef is not perfection. Water was cold of course I was in there in the month of December. I find zero flaws with this hotel. They have a guard dog for sniffing bombs and they even treat the dogs well. I adore this hotel it is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at in my entire life!"

"If anyone is thinking of going to the Albatros Palace in Sharm, we have been here a couple of days (hotel using Travel Republic and flight from BHX direct using TUI). It is quite spectacular here. It is a step up from the Royal Albatros Moderna and they haven’t finished the developing of more restaurants, more rooms and more facilities. Can’t tell they are developing, sound-wise anyway. Everything is very new, they opened on 28th February. The Spa hasn’t even got the sign on it yet but the pedicure, manicure and facial were very good earlier. The beach is spacious and lots of beds with an expansion to come. Restaurants at the moment include Asian, Italian, Mediterranean, Sea Food, A La Carte and beach/pool food court with a Mexican and Moroccan to come. Bars are plentiful. There is a Kids Club with lots of other children facilities to come. There are pools galore with some heated and some not; a couple of Infiniti pools as well. They haven’t managed to heat the sea yet though 😂. They want this to be Sharm’s number 1 hotel (Pick Albatros). I would certainly recommend it!!"

"My first visit: Let's start from the beginning which was on Sep-2019 my first visit there which was one of the best experience ever in Sharm which made me looking forward to repeating this nice vacation on Sep 2020. The reservation (Mr. Ahmed El Nagar): I started calling Iberotel this year since Jul 2020 , waited till opening his doors at Sep. I was lucky to reach one of the best professional friendly front office managers - Mr. Ahmed El Nagar - this man was the reason that made our vacation unforgettable facilitating the reservation process trying to do his best to make us satisfied even before we come there, not only that but also was welcoming us himself on our first day making a very warm family atmosphere for us. Rooms: Got two very clean sunny rooms with a welcoming fruits , plenty of water minerals , every thing you need is there. only got two issues with the safe box and the air conditioner however it was solved instantly as soon as I called the reception who were always very helpful in any request. The house keeping - Ahmed - was always smiling , made our rooms clean always with art decorations - specially on our marriage anniversary. Beach: A relaxing , very clean long beach with a very nice view with a very friendly lifeguards specially Youssef who was helping us everyday. The only comment was that there was many kelp in the sea which make you uncomfortable till you go deeper. Food and Beverage: This is the best food you would ever eat in Egypt. The best quality with a lot of variations on daily basis . Breakfast , lunch and dinner- all - are the best I every taste. Even the food on the sea bar was tasty . Really thanks for all the chefs there , you are the best. Safety: I can confirm that Iberotel is the safest hotel in Sharm , sanitizers every were , doctor available on need , All staff wearing masks , checking your temperature regularly. I felt safe for me and my children in this hotel. Caring: Top management is caring for your stay , you always met a manager asking if you are satisfied , smiling at you , looking forward to seeing you always happy. They asked us to fill a survey for every part in our stay taking it so seriously. At last when leaving , it was again Mr, Ahmed El Nagar wishing us a safe trip with his nice smile asking us to repeat again this visit which for sure we are looking forward to. "Alas, this year is not best for travels and vacations abroad. Initially me and my wife were planning to visit Egypt in November, when the heat is not this hard. But with all this uncertainty about COVID-19 second wave, we've decided to spend vacations in Iberotel Palace while we still can. We were pleasantly surprised with how hotel organized health safety in a firm, but unobtrusive way. We understand that is not so easy for personnel and appreciate their efforts. I believe, this hotel posses one of the best beaches in Sharm El-Sheikh, hotel territory is small, but cozy and beautifully gardened, rooms are comfortable and clean. Food wasn't as great as our last stay, but still very decent. But what makes it different - it's service. You are welcomed as a dear guest, and all your stay surrounded with personnel attention, very delicate, but with all the help they can provide when you need it. What is great - we've met the same employees from the last time. It gives you feeling that you are visiting old friends. So we would like to thank again all the people that made this vacation great: - General Manager Ibrahim Halil, who found time to personally greet us on the arrival; - reception personnel and especially Abanoub, who helped us with all requests; - assistant recreation manager Ayman Salah - very cheerful gentleman with fluent English, always ready to help; - barmen Elsawy, Samih, Tamer. Coffe is still delicious! - Mivida SPA manager Viktoria, masseurs Zeinab and Mokhammed - cooks and waiters, room service, gardeners and other personnel. We definitely will look forward for the next vacations in this hotel."

"The situation was very special, due the Coronavirus and constantly changing instructions. The hotel had to close. I was a guest till the last day and with all restrictions the staff kept going till the end to treat you well. The pool is cleaned every day several times, the rooms also, fresh towels, the garden, ... Hygiene is taken very seriously at all times. During the days the hotel was still open the animation tried to give their best with mini disco, singers, belly dancers, and folkloric dancers. This situation is very difficult for all of us, not knowing what will happen next.I am very thankful for all the staff and what they did to make your days pleasant. They are very helpful in every way, stay kind to serve you at any time. The Spa-wellness was not possible anymore, which was not a bad decision to close it for safety reasons. Special thanks to the staff: Medhat, Mohamed (beachbar), Khaled, Karim (nightshift), Mr Ashour, Amir and his team of the kitchen and restaurant, Azazy and his team of housekeeping, Ahmed for entertainment and pool & Eid for the gardening and his positive energy and also the team of the reception with Hanny Moon. Jaz Fanara is really a hotel to recommend for his good care and family feeling they give."
"Before my trip I tried to contact this hotel. I was interested in food for children, but I can`t contact it in any way. In 2015 hotel had an renovation and was renamed in Jaz Fanara. Before 2015 it was called Iberotel and was build in 2005. Hotel for near 400 rooms, part in the main building, the other in the Club rooms (small cottages for 4-6-8 rooms). We lived in the main building in so called “superior”. Room fund is rated 2+. You can see that the hotel is old with electronic accessories (telephone, hairdryer, air conditioning control unit, quite a lot of shabby furniture and wall corners). We were vacationing with two children, so there were some requirements for food and children's entertainment. Choice of a children`s diet is very poor (advice: take canned baby food with). There were some suspicious porridge and soups available, we didn`t use it. There were 2 restaurants in Jaz Fanara. Main restaurant is awful. Everything is dirty and old. Second restaurant was very good, but it was closed. Entertainmentin Jaz Fanara was very poor. Maybe because of CoVid19 pandemic situation. Personnel in Jaz Fanara in quite special. They are smiling to you, but you notice that it isn`t sincerely. They usually speak in arabic near you, and you don’t understand what are they talking about. Uncomfortable feelling. Especially bad feedback about Anex tour preloader Fady Gerges. My vacation antihero. Cleaning the hotel and the area is bad. Area and corridors were dirty. "

"Decent food, but nothing special, very clean, awesome architecture and interiors. The staff is friendly and helpful, some of them don’t speak English though. There’s basically NO internet in this hotel, just be prepared. Even with premium account, even for Egyptian hotel it’s really, really weak and slow. Frontg desk is pretty much ignoring the problem. Also, be very careful with sun beds, they are terrible and dangerous. Tennis court covering is done, there are cracks everywhere. There were like 5 songs in their playlist which became quite annoying after a week."

"TRUST ME REVIEW. I am so proud to have such an amazing hotel in Egypt.. Normally I go and try to find any negative points in the hotels I am staying in so I can be able to review it well, but this hotel is 10 out of 10 .. NOTHING WAS WRONG. From the first moment in the hotel and they way they welcomed us and the fast accommodation track we faced and the complimentary upgrade to the best room with best view from , thanks to Bishoy in the reception who prepared the rooms even before the check in time.. And then the amazing room service ,special thanks to Hamada, and the amazing big variety of food which was so tasty and the professional chefs and kind waiters , I can thank one of them as they are all amazing.. special thanks to Mr. SALAH who took care of us properly . Talking about the hotel and the view and the cleanness will never end , it is a top world class hotel .. Everything was close to each other so we didn't need to walk alot to go anywhere . It is very good for families and couples and singles as well . On top of all ,it is the best location for snorkeling across whole sharm al shaikh. This will be my hotel forever."
