"We cannot fault anything about the holiday we had in the Astir Odysseus. We travelled late September (27th think) and stayed for two weeks, so we knew the holiday season was coming to an end. We booked a family room through Tui as this was the only accomdation options available at the time we booked. Though only two of us, the extra space the family room gave us was helpful. If its not clear from pictures, as you enter the room, there is a sofa bed on the right which would easily be ample for an young adult or children. It also has its on air con in this section and there is doors that seperate this section from the main bedroom. The wardrobe was easily enough for two, so easily stretch to three. The main bedroom is large with a sofa and ours lead onto a balcony that looked over the main pool near the hotel. We stayed in room 222. Would recommend this to anyone. The room was great, though had a few occassion to get maintennance support for the air con but was fixed in hours of us raising with reception. Room was cleaned spotlessley every day with the beds made. Couldn't ask for more. We primarily stayed around the main pool and I guess possibly being the time of year but it was so nice not having to get up at crack of dawn to save a sun bed. We would just leisurely sure beds after breakfast nearly every day after 10 am. Relaxing. And even more relaxing, downloaded the app and was able to order drinks to your sun bed. We found at best it took upto 5 mins or less to arrive. Excellent. We booked with All inclusive, so a good range of cocktails were available and made from scratch in the main bar (think beach bar may have had pre-made cocktails but still pretty good). Local beer on tap was ok but i preferred the local bottle beer, still included but less gassy. Also they had gluten free beer, which I preferred. Stripped them dry within a few days. But bless them, restoked within a day or so. Onto that, bar staff were brilliant, attentive and got to know a few of them (Stellios and a one I name Roy Keane) who were great to have conversations and always genuinly happy to serve. And if you want something different they have a range of craft beers and cocktails no on the all inclusive list you could buy. Yes, they were 5-7 Euros a go but reasonable if you leave them as treats. Food was excellent. So much choice and every day something different if you dared to try, though there was regular dishes (pizza, pasta, chips) and vast ranges of salads. They had a great display of olive oils - over 25 bottle or so, which was great to try with various breads. And the deserts, we've been to a number of greek islands and hotels, and the majority serve what we regard as puff and fluff - they look nice but no substance. Astir Odysseus you have broken the mould. Chocolate that tastes like chocolate, patisseries with substance. Brilliant. You could choose to eat inside but lots of outside options which we preferred and meant it didn't feel like canteen like ot"
"We arrived @ 2.30am however we were checked in & taken to our room by golf cart & in bed by 2.45. We stayed in a maisonette with a shared pool with next door, it was spotless, comfy & spacious. We had 2 minibars, one downstairs & one upstairs which we’re replenished daily. The food & choice was awesome, something for everyone & different every day. Although it’s a help yourself buffet we were never queuing too long & it’s a great touch that your drinks are served by waiter/waitresses therefore reducing people traffic in the main restaurant getting up for drinks. The staff were always attentive & polite. The BBQ restaurant at lunchtime was great with plenty of choice. On a evening we always used the main bar & enjoyed the quality of drinks & the service was excellent ( nice touch with the peanuts ). The evening entertainment was ok. The disco down at the beach bar was good. We’ve stayed at quite a few 4/5 star all inclusive hotels but this stood out as the best, so much so we have booked to go back in 2020 "
"Having been moved to this hotel, as our original booked hotel decided at 2 weeks notice to close early!, we were concerned about what to expect. On arrival any concerns we had dissapeared. We stayed for 1 week to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday. Our rooms had fantastic panoramic sea views, also overlooking the huge pool, which was steps away from the beach. The whole hotel was immaculately clean and had a modern feel throughout. Meal times were a feast, with so much choice of food from breakfast to dinner, of a very high standard. The hotel is in a quiet location, but there is plenty to do within the hotel. There are fantastic walks along the beach for several kms in both directions. What really stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of all of the staff, who ensured our special holiday was flawless and one to always remember. A real 5 star experience, with a week of complete sun & 27 degrees just to top it off!"

"We had previously stayed at this hotel in June 2016 and loved that trip, so after our original summer holiday this year was cancelled, we opted to try for an October half term break back at the Blue Lagoon Village in the hope that we could get away for a much-needed break in the sun. This year the hotel had opened a number of new developments; a new block of swim-up rooms, a new restaurant, and two new swimming pools. Having booked a swim-up room we were lucky to be upgraded to a two-bedroom room in the new ‘8000s’ block. Firstly, the resort itself. It’s huge, but never feels crowded thanks to the number of pools, swim-up rooms and restaurants available. It’s quite hilly in places but the hotel offers a golf buggy service with staff on hand to transport you to other areas of the resort, and this comes in handy at times. The resort is spotlessly clean, the architecture is classy with a mix of a modern and traditional feel, and the grounds are immaculately kept, with a team of staff working throughout the day to tend to the beautiful flowers and grassy areas. Our room back in 2016 (twin, sea view) was lovely so we expected similar, and our room this year was just as good. Modern, high quality fittings, a big bathroom with separate shower and bath, very comfortable beds, and flat screen TVs in both rooms which had access to the main British channels. Due to COVID, unfortunately there were no tea & coffee facilities but it was no great loss. The fridge in the room was handy and we kept it stocked with bottles of water (which you can pick up from any of the hotel’s bars) and other drinks we’d purchased from the mini market on site. The room had a large outdoor terrace with four sun loungers, and the pool outside was lovely and peaceful, but getting in was a bit tricky with the water being so cold! But as ever once you’re in, it’s fine. We ate at the Aegean buffet restaurant for breakfast and some evening meals, and the setup there was great. Masks had to be worn on entering, hand sanitiser used and a glove was provided to use when handling serving utensils. Being a buffet, naturally some dishes were repeated on subsequent visits but there was plenty of choice if you wanted something different. I’ve seen people complain of cold food but from my experience that’s a ridiculous claim. Being a buffet of course not everything will remain piping hot but there are kitchen staff on hand changing the food on a regular basis and the food was perfectly warm to eat. The serving staff in this restaurant were amazing and the head waitress at breakfast (I can’t remember her name) was consistently pleasant and made you feel very welcome. Some evenings we ate in the new Ocean restaurant and found the standard of food here to be even better, with themed menus and a lovely outdoor dining area. Overall the experience here was much more relaxed. For your stay you are permitted to visit the a la carte restaurants on site and these are booked via the ‘Exclusivi’ app -"
"We had such a lovely stay at the Blue Lagoon Village. I would happily go back again. During covid it felt very safe - the staff all wore masks and safety measures in the buffets were excellent. The site is spread out and pretty. The room was very comfortable (we had a family room - two bedrooms and one bathroom), with two balconies and a lovely sea view. We were all very happy in the room and had enough space for 5. The food is really excellent. As with anywhere with a buffet, after a while it can feel repetitive, but there was actually a good variety with different themes and slightly different styles in the different restaurants. You can book each a la carte once each week - the Chinese and the Italian were both excellent, the adventure BBQ was a nice change, but less impressive. There are a variety of pools, and we could always get sunbeds, although it sometimes took a little while to find enough for 5. We highly recommend the water sports on the beach. A lovely team of really nice guys, who made you feel very safe and between us we ended up doing 5 different activities! The slides are nothing to get excited about, but a trip to the water park on the island is worthwhile. If you hire a car, we also highly recommend the thermal springs. One of the highlights of our stay was the lovely waiting staff. We particularly want to mention Xanthi in the Greek taverna and Alexandra and Daniel in the main restaurant. They were so friendly and warm and we really enjoyed chatting with them as well as feeling very well looked after."
"After all the negative reviews on here just wanted to let everyone no. This place is lovely, spacious pool areas are amazing. Never short of sunbeds Rooms are a little dated needs a bit of a face lift. But they are clean and comfortable .cleaners are in everyday.Me & my husband have had a lovely time here the staff are fabulous can't do enough for you. The food occasionally is just warm not hot. But definitely not cold as some of these reviews state and there is something for everyone. Another bad comment on here was the gentleman doing the eggs in the morning. Don't no what they mean by that we have been here 11 days same gentleman and he has been absolutely fantastic. Overall we had a fabulous time weather was great for November staff work there butt's off.Just trying make you enjoy your time here. Hats off to all the staff. They are a credit to the blue lagoon resort. Hope to be back soon xxx"

SIKAMINI STR, Kos, South Aegean, Greece
"We were dreaming of going to Casa Cook (now OKU hotels) for so long but unfortunately we were pretty disappointed by the experience. First impression was very good. Friendly & helpful reception staff, gorgeous location and architecture/design. Same for the rooms. The beach is beautiful and the whole vibe is super relaxing. However little by little the flaws were showing and by day 4 (when we left) we could conclude we had a good stay, but wouldn’t come back nor recommend it to other people and here’s why: First of all I was expecting a middle size boutique like hotel, but OKU Kos is actually a resort size hotel. No offence to the hotel for this, I misinterpreted the website gallery and my preference is more for smaller hotels but this is personal. We stayed for 3 nights - 4 days and our room did not get cleaned once. I don’t need fresh linen every day but at least a quick clean and making up the bed is a bare minimum for this price (we had the junior suite). Also there was a septic smell passing by now and then and everything was super humid and smelled humid. We were given only 1l of complimentary water each day, and water in the restaurant was 4,50 euros the bottle. NOT OK. The restaurant was very big and cafeteria like, the tables are not beautifully set as the pictures in the gallery, you just receive a napkin with cutlery once you’re seated, and it is super expensive. The staff in the restaurant and bar were not very professional, lacked a proper maitre d’, their uniforms were very sloppy, and all due respect for the hassle of wearing mouth masks but PLEASE if you’re going to wear them, wear them the right way and not with your nose sticking out (90% of them 90% of the time). But this would be easily forgotten if they would be friendly, and although some of them were very friendly and helpful, a lot were NOT! This may have been the biggest bummer of our trip. I spent a lot of time trying to catch their attention to order something, and once I did, they were uninterested or even arrogant. When I spilled my glass of wine (yes I’m clumsy), no one of the staff came to help or clean the table, they just passed by. We eventually cleaned it ourselves with our napkins, the floor was left stained… Oh and also, the music in the lounge area and restaurant for me is not necessary the whole day long. Some times it was really nice, but mostly it was just disturbing the chil & relaxed vibe. So I would say for OKU Kos yes… but no."
"We came him a few years ago when it was casa cook and were worried it might have changed but it was still just as gorgeous as we remembered. It literally is a little place to escape to. It’s slightly away from the town so be prepared to spend €25 into town and €25 back but the hotel can arrange car hire or beach buggies if you want to explore. The facilities are simply stunning and the beach is beautiful. Food was a lot better than when it was casa cook too - there were more options and the wines we had were really nice too. We did have one or two issues with the room when we arrived which were resolved fairly quickly - the buttons for the air conditioning were missing so engineering had to fix this and the lamp was also broken. Regardless though, the team were quick to assist and fix the problem. The staff are all really lovely - especially the guest relations girl! One thing I will say is the music by the pool was the same playlist on repeat for a week which drove us mad - we new all the lyrics by the end of the holiday - definitely need to switch up the playlist!! Really enjoyed the dj on Saturday night though! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to return! "
"This Hotel is amazing! I stayed 4 nights by myself and then the last 4 nights my friend came. We even got an upgrade. I initially booked 4 nights and they happily extended for me even though they were saying fully booked nearly online. All of the staff are genuinely lovely. From the moment you arrive to depart, they are very welcoming and only want to make your stay an amazing one! The breakfast every morning is very good. It would have been nice to maybe see some more vegan/gluten free options. They can arrange excursions for you although I didn’t do any. They have a shop which sells some lovely clothes, healthy wellbeing products. It would be great if they sold amenities like a travel adaptor. My friend forgot hers when I left and the taxi in total cost $45 for her to go to the shop. I would 100% recommend hiring a car out there as apparently there is only one taxi company on the island and just from the airport to hotel, for a 15 min journey it costs $25 euros. It depends if you want to stay in the hotel but I went out for dinner and went to other beaches. I hired from Exer GR from a lovely lady called Katerina. All in all, there is nothing to fault."

"We booked this on the Tuesday and flew on the Saturday, for a much needed holiday of rest, sun and relaxation after working throughout the pandemic. The entire holiday did not disappoint. Most definitely a 4* resort. Cleanliness was absolute top all the way from reception to the pools to the gardens to the restaurant to the rooms. It literally shone clean. The staff throughout worked so hard, they were exceptionally friendly but professional and the crew in the restaurant worked morning and night and worked so hard, they were amazing. Thank you to every single one of them. The food at breakfast and dinner was buffet style (we were half board) and the choices to eat were very varied. All food was quality, well presented with loads of choice. In the evening you could eat different each night, likewise at breakfast there was that much choice from fresh fruit, yoghurts, smoothies, freshly made crepes, an array of cooked items, biscuits, cakes cheeses, and plenty of lovely coffee!!! The drinks were extra obviously with plenty of choices to drink at, pool bars, restaurant, beach bar etc. And again served very professionally, good prices and plenty of choices. Cocktails especially nice, and a good size serving of Greek mataxa if that's to your taste, as it was mine! The pool areas as beautiful, plenty of sunbeds, clean, and surrounded by the most lush gardens. The entire resort is very lush, very well kept beautiful gardens. Its stunning. The resort is on the beach, again which is lovely. We used the horizon surf centre just along the beach for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding, again good prices, professional friendly guys who ran it, with plenty of equipment to go round. The sea is so clear and was a good temperature for swimming in in October. The sun set over the sea, stunning skies from the beach and from our balcony. We had a garden view, but could actually see the sea as well. The view was stunning. The room plenty big enough for 2. It was 2 single beds pushed together which was a shame, but again they were plenty big enough. Plenty of wardrobe space, a fridge, a tv, and a good size bathroom with bath a good shower. House keeping every other day, changed towels, sheets and thoroughly cleaned. Only downside was no kettle so couldnt have a coffee on waking! Apart from that minor issue we could not fault this hotel. Plenty to do, stunning, clean, excellent service throughout, would highly recommend."
"This was our first time in Kos and we travelled with Jet 2 holidays. This is a new resort for Jet2. The hotel is very close to the airport, just 10 - 15 mins away but not near enough to be bothered by aircraft noise. We arrived quite late at night and the hotel had added picnic bags in our room, which was a really nice touch. Check in was efficient and a buggy took us to our room with our luggage. The resort grounds are really beautiful, really well maintained and clean. We were positioned near the Oasis bar 2 pool, which was a great position as it was near to reception, the restaurant and two of the pools but also only a couple of mins walk from the beach. The paths to the rooms and facilities are on a slight incline. There are paths everywhere that are easy to use. They are expanding the hotel and there are new pools plus a new restaurant. We generally used the Oasis pool 2. The service was great here, the lady who served us was very friendly. There were plenty of sunbeds and the pools consisted of a separate child's pool and a large pool, with the deeper end separated by a rope. The pool was very clean and warm enough to swim in. Towels can be hired for a few Euro each, they are not the best towels and had to be changed at the beach within set times, which was annoying. It would be better to also have a towel swap at the pool too. The beach was nice and good for swimming, the sea was warm. Sunbeds can be rented for 3euros each per day. The room was very clean and had most things we needed. There is a mini market which had everything you could need for a holiday. Water could be bought here and then the room had a fridge. There was also a gift shop and a car hire outlet. There were three restaurants. The main restaurant is used for breakfast and evening meal. The Taverna restaurant is open during the day, we ate here a few times and the food and service was good. Food from here can also be ordered to the pool bars, There is a new burger restaurant just opened which also offers sandwiches, The meals at Taverna were all quite large, it would be good to have more snack options for lunch. Breakfast and dinner could get quite busy. Breakfast choice was extensive. The juice was not very nice. Dinner could get very busy at the buffet. The food was average and was the only thing that let the resort down. A few of the dishes were very nice but overall was not great. After 3 nights, we had definitely had enough of eating there. It would be good to have alternative restaurants open at night to have a better choice. Other restaurants etc were around 25 mins walk away. Rooms have a safe, which you can use for an additional fee. Overall we would recommend this resort, it is a beautifully maintained resort with great staff and good facilities."
"We stayed at Horizon Beach Resort for 4 nights. The hotel is predominantly German. So much so that we were on more than one occasion asked how we got there and did, at times, feel out of place. Staff spoke English no problem however but bear in mind all entertainment etc will be in German. The hotel is situated very close to the airport, only 10-15 mins away with no aircraft noise. Ideal for a short trip. There’s little else going on in the area, very quiet aside from Tam Tam a lovely yoga property with a bar and restaurant and other hotels you can access from the beach. (We visited Casa Cook for a drink one afternoon, highly recommend). There is however a bus stop directly outside the hotel that takes you to Kos Town in about 30 mins for 3 euros. You can pick up a timetable at reception. Kos Town is beautiful with much to see and do. There’s also a shop located just outside the hotel where you can pick up food, water, sun screen and lilos etc at a cheaper price to the on site hotel shop. The hotel is being renovated (at no inconvenience to guests, we didn’t see any work whilst we were there) and we stayed in the new part of the hotel. Our room was beautiful with an incredible sea view. The best part of the stay was viewing the sun set from our balcony. We were taken to our room by a buggy which was a nice touch and they collected us and our suitcases like this at check out also. Minor points about the room; we were not provided with body lotion or conditioner so remember to bring your own. Limited English channels on the TV also so bring a laptop/HDMI cable if you want to watch anything that isn’t the news. Other than that it was lovely! The hotel itself benefits from 4 pools, 2 brand new, so there was never a shortage of sun beds. Two pools look directly over the ocean which is beautiful. Towels are available for a few euros. The hotel also benefits from a private beach however you have to pay extra to use a sunbed on the beach (3 Euros per person per day) which I personally think is disappointing considering the hotel advertises itself as a beach resort so you would assume this was included. As such, we stuck to the pool and only went for walks on the beach. The sea was choppy when we were there but settled for our last day and many were swimming in it. Water sports were available and there was a local surf centre. There are also other activities you can participate in during the day time. The aqua aerobics was particularly good and the staff member who facilitated it made it great fun. Again however this was all in German so at times difficult to follow with no translation. There is also a spa on site but it was small and over priced. To use the sauna/steam room it was 15 euros for 30 mins. There was no indoor swimming pool. The gym was small however had an ok amount of machines. The half board option takes part in the main restaurant which I believe is new. The breakfast buffet is extensive with fresh fruit, cooked breakfast, cereal a"

"I’ve been to blue domes twice, end of season in 2018 & again in May 2019. We booked a swim up room the second time having been upgraded to one the first time we went. The place is lovely, hotel staff are very attentive to what you need & will remember things about guests. Rooms have a mini bar updated daily & rooms cleaned all the time. Pool towels are left in room and a swim up room you get the pool bar staff coming around with drinks. Food wise; the main restaurant was great for all meals. The lady who cooked the breakfast omelet was amazing, best I’ve ever had. Great mixture of food at all times. I liked trying the traditional Greek items. You also have the food places by the pools. We tried all of them over the course of both stays. I loved the burger place && you can’t beat going to the pastry corner for a crepe before bed. They’re lush. The healthy corner is lovely too, I loved the smoothies. The themed restaurants are amazing. My fave was the Greek and Mexican ones. We tried all on the second trip, but had the Italian for lunch rather than evening. The booking process is simple, just use the machines in reception - quick tip tho, nook one the first day you arrive for the next or something then the next morning you can book again for another night. We did order room service and the food brought was to die for. Burgers, salad and fruit. A tray charge of €10 regardless of how much you order Id charged to your room. It’s worth it. The outdoor theatre has some good shows on, the list of what is showing is up outside the main restaurant for the week. The beach is pebbly, we went a few times but more so to use the beach bar. The shops onsite are small but simple. There is another round the area where you can get souvenirs and such. A bus comes regularly to the resort and will take you to Kos town or Kardamena if you fancy a trip out. Kardamena is a beautiful place we loved the little trip to break up the hol. Overall I loved the place and having been twice this is really a nice holiday to go on. I prefer out of season as I’d expect it to be very busy when the children are out of school."
"We have previously stayed at the Rinela Beach and I have always wanted to stay at Blue Domes so I was thrilled that we had the opportunity to visit during half term. It really didn’t disappoint. The resort is beautiful. So tastefully done and lots of attention to detail. The views are stunning and the whole place has a peaceful, spacious and luxurious feel. We loved the fact that you never got bored, as there were so many different areas to go to as well as several dining options. Contrary to other reviews, we actually had no problems booking for each of the a la carte restaurants (although we did have to be flexible with times.) The a la carte brunch option was also a lovely touch. Even though the hotel was very busy when we arrived, it didn’t feel it; sun beds were spread out and there were so many different different sections to the hotel grounds, it didn’t feel cramped or hectic at all. We never had a problem locating a spot to settle in, each day. The hotel was closing, as we left so the availability of certain restaurants and food items was somewhat reduced during the last couple of days but that’s to be expected. We would definitely recommend and would love to return one day- I’m missing it already! "
"We have booked to go back this year and it will be our 8th time and each year it gets better and better it’s more expensive than a lot of hotels but you really do get your money’s worth. The hotel has 12 restaurants all do gorgeous meals from a burger bar sushi restaurant pita bread Asian restaurant Mexican restaurant Italian restaurant a Greek restaurant and many more the drinks are international the staff are the best and I have made some very good friends starting with Visallia plus Gerard and Maria off the beach and Denisa and Antoneta and my name sake julien from the main restaurant "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Neptune Hotels Kos last 11-21 August 2020. All the people were lovely - The food was amazing. Prior to coming, we were about apprehensive to travel because of the Covid-19 situation, but we originally booked this holiday in January 2020 (even before Coronavirus). We felt very safe and secure when we arrived in Neptune. There were safety precautions everywhere (sun beds were being wiped and cleaned after every use, masks in common areas/the Market, etc.). Our room was lovely - We originally booked a standard double room, but we were upgraded to a more modern Superior one - so that was a lovely start to our holiday. Lovely modern room with led lights, a fridge, and spacious cupboards. Bathroom was also very nice and modern. Loved the showers. Good location too as we were just near the market and the main building. Our favourite restaurant was the Taverna (Mike’s and Thanasis were so nice and friendly), but all the other restaurants such as Meats and the Italian were nice as well. We didn’t try the main buffet at night, but we had the breakfast buffet which could get busy but we figured out the time that worked for us. Also loved the gelateria - Emma was so lovely! The resort is so lovely - the staff are sooo lovely (especially the guys from the Neppi Kids Club - My daughter Maisie absolutely loved everyone especially Bill). Our daughter loved the kid’s club so much that she went there almost everyday. They also let us stay in a temporary double room prior to our late departure (since we could not stay in our original room), so we were able to rest and refresh/shower before we flew back to England. Just a tip - Get a bug spray! Since we went in August which is mosquito season, it would be nice to have bug spray. They are selling it in the market as well. My husband and daughter didn’t get bitten as much as I was, but it’s not a biggie to me. Would like to thank all the lovely staff: Reservations - Katerina Front Desk - Alkis, Constantinos, Fay Neppi Land Kids Club - Bill, Leonie, Esme, Rafael, Natasha Taverna - Mikes, Thanasis, Spyros Breakfast - Elektra, Dimitris, Mikes (from Taverna) Troj Bar - Elisavet Meats - Christos, Thanasis (also from Taverna), Anastasia, Spyros Gelateria - Emma Room Service - Aggelika Apollo Theatre Bar - Evilena, Vangelis Cleaner - Laureta Pool Bar - Rafaela"
"Our whole family loved this place. The most remarkable and outstanding feature for us besides the wonderful beaches was definitely the amazing food at the buffets. Everything was very fresh and tasty! The rooms are very nice and perfectly equipped for a lovely stay, also the staff is super friendly. There is a great amount of activities offered every day, so no time to get bored. We also loved the green/ecological ideas behind the whole organization! Due to the hotel category the evening drinks etc were a bit pricey but still ok and we also very soon found out about the nice sports pub just across the street from the parking lot whose lovely owner tries to please every customer. After a couple of days we also discovered Tamtam Beach which is quite nearby and also totally worth a visit. In conclusion we had a great time at the hotel and would love to come back sometime. PS: It is a mostly German hotel which we didn't love but managed to ignore successfully :) "
"Great location . Beautiful beach . Very nice rooms with view ,Excellent and professional staff especially Monika ♥️ and Christos (breakfast and dinner) and miss Sofia the front office manager: she offered us an upgrade for free because of an internal error of our travel agent. The prices at the hotel are very high for Greece for example one single espresso 3.50 EUR. We will come back for sure ! "

"Ok. Let's do the downsides first. 1. If you want the beach, you are a mile away from it, so you can walk, (about 35 minutes), hire a bicycle, or get a taxi which will cost you €6.00. Ok. Now for the plus sides. 1. Lovely, quiet location. 2. Very few children. Mostly middle age couples. 3. No loud music. 4. Excellent restaurant and bar. 5. Comfy beds. We didn't need the air con either, even though the temperature was 25-29 degrees. 6. The staff are sooo friendly. Sophia, who cleaned our rooms every day, is absolutely lovely. 7. Food is cooked freshly. I particularly liked the saganaki and the chicken dishes. Wait till you see the chicken roasted on the beer bottle! 8. Knowledgeable staff. Amy tips they know they freely pass on to you. 9. The local archaeology in Kos is fantastic. I particularly enjoyed Casa Romana (the Roman house), ancient Angora and the western archaeology site. 10. Petros- what can I say? Greets you with a friendly "good morning" - at 7pm in the evening. Or an equally friendly "good evening" at 10am. He never stops working! As he said himself, "at the end of october I can have five months off." So, it's a 2 star, but a very good 2 star. My wife, and I, for two, will be back. We've still lots of exploring to do on this wonderful island."
"We visited the hotel as a family of 2 adults & 2 14yr olds. The complex is very large, with 3 lovely pools & right on the beach. We could always get a sun lounger. The food & drink are good, plenty to choose from. The main restaurant can be a little busy at peak times but the staff are hot at replenishing the food & clearing the tables. You can book one visit to both the Italian on site restaurant & Greek restaurant. Highly recommend. You are supplied with a beach towel that you can change every 2 days. Great service! The entertainment is a good try, aimed at the little ones. Not much for the adults. The bar by the beach is lovely, plenty of local drinks as part of the all inclusive. Hot dogs & chips available too. We had a 2 bedroom family room over looking the gardens. Spacious & clean! We would highly recommend this hotel for a family!"
"Just come home from a week here... We had a basic room which was comfortable and very clean with regular maid service.. The food was varied and fresh and of good quality.. The pools and communal areas were kept clean and tidy and ALL the staff were excellent and covid friendly.. The beach is a 2 min walk and very good and the resort seemed quiet which was fine for us.... We seemed to be the only English at the time but the German's were not a problem😆 We would definitely go to this hotel again. Thank you...👍"

"The location is perfect, walking distance to the Piraeus marina and view is really fantastic from the hotel. However this hotel was best in the 70's I believe and now we are in 2017 If you like something fresh , modern and new this is not your hotel. If you don't mind, this is it."

"I’d been planning this trip for a year, once is settled on Kos, to celebrate my son’s tenth birthday. I emailed Caravia and the staff who reverted were always warm and extremely helpful. I made the reservation in January/Feb for July and was worried that the reservation may not be kept without a down payment. However, Dora assured me they’d keep/honour it and all we had to do was show up. They were even helpful with sending an invoice for our visa applications without any hassles. The biggest and best thing about Caravia is that it is all expenses paid. If you are traveling with family, this is definitely the best kind of set up. The food is plentiful (I mean plentiful!!!) and the snacks and drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) are literally available on tap at various locations around the hotel from 10h-18h. Drinks & snacks are also available at the main bar from 18h-24h. So really, one is always well looked after in this regard. This was as much a beach holiday as it was a gastronomic experience! We stuffed out faces to no end & the food is freshly prepared, delicious, varied and made using quality ingredients. Breakfast, lunch & dinner - we even had to skip some meals on some days because we’d just overdone it at precious meals! The hotel itself is simply lovely. Not hard to see why they’ve won so many awards. Modern, sleek and yet still maintaining a warm feel! The pool is the bluest blue you’ve ever seen and the grounds are well maintained/manicured. The staff operates an efficient system - bar staff, entertainment program staff, theatre & show staff, spa staff, front desk staff, dining staff, whew!!! Too many to mention. And they’re all professional and helpful. I can’t overstate this. We felt welcomed and valued as guests. Any problem we approached the front desk staff with was eagerly & speedily resolved. The hotel also has a full program for each day of the week for both adults (sports & aerobics) and kids (mini club), the latter which has its own designated swimming pool and play area. The hotel also has a tennis court and mini football field. The beach is also well maintained. It’s clean and there are enough beach chairs and umbrellas to accommodate the people on the beach at any given time. You can chill by the pool or beach and both areas have their own designated bar for refreshments of your choice and free snacks. The icing on the cake was the special effort the dining manager made into helping us mark my son’s birthday. We’d informed him that it was the next day and he took note of it & made that there was a beautiful floral table arrangement for us the next day at breakfast - with the loveliest chocolate mousse cake to go! Wow!!! Caravia, you simply outdid yourselves. For us to travel so far from South Africa, via Dubai & Athens, and then onto a 12hr ferry ride, you truly, truly made this long trip worthwhile. Caravia convinced me I’d made the right choice to celebrate my son’s birthday in Kos! Maybe one day we’ll be back, "
"Look no further for your family holiday! We have two teenagers 14 and 17 and our friends 13 and 11. All of them had masses to do thanks to the top animation team. All kids young and old were included. Not your typical reps - so much more. They give everything and make this resort for families one of the best we have visited over the years!! This aside the food was varied and well presented, cleanliness fantastic and every single member of the hotel staff friendly and wanting to help. Nothing was too much trouble which made our stay stress free and totally incredible. Thank you to the entire team particularly on reception and again to team animation!!! Oscar and Orla miss them all :)"
"We stayed in the main building which is really convenient and on budget as well. There were plenty of things that we loved: - great beach and pools along with animators - amazing food - perfect gym, tenis, waterpark, etc. Of course, you can always improve something and in this case I would highlight some issue with the noise since the rooms are not noise-cancelling or we had some initial issues with the accommodation that the front desk was not able to solve and we had to wait for the manager to the following day which is not good. I would like to express my THANK YOU to the local service team - I remember from the top of my head names such as Vicky (server) or Matylda. Kudos!"

"We stayed for a week at Sovereign Beach hotel the week before it closed for the season. I always read reviews before we go but try to arrive with an open mind. We arrived just after 23:00 and checked in which was fast and easy. The all inclusive finishes at 23:00 so we had to buy a drink where I feel when you arrive late the hotel might give you a voucher fro 1 drink each on late arrival. The ladies had a G&T each at 5€ each, I wasn't bothered so I don't know the price of a beer. We were told that a cold plate had been left for us if required but none of us were hungry so I don't know how good they were. A safety deposit box was €30 for a week and wifi was €35 a week €10 a day or €5 for 100 minutes which I thought a bit prices. We were in rooms 329 and 333. These were spacious rooms with fridge and a decent tv that unfortunately only had one channel (BBC World News) in English. It didn't put us out much as you don't go away to watch tv too much. The beds were very comfortable and there was little if any noise to interrupt our sleep. The air con seemed to work fine too during our stay. Generally a wide selection of good quality food and superb choice and quality of desserts. All hotel staff that we met were friendly, polite and cheerful. The two animation girls Kerrie and Nitesher worked tirelessly while we were there to keep guests happy. We really enjoyed both indoor and outdoor pools and the 20 minute beach road walk into Kardamina. The pool and taverna bars were fine too."
"In Sovereign Beach hotel me and my boyfriend had absolutly the best holidays ever! Rooms were very comfortable there was everything what we needed and also beautiful view for the sea. Shows by animators were good - very funny show with Lorenzo. Girls were dancing in a good way, also Mario did good speech. Also Romanian guy conducted very nice yoga class. Funny was always asking us how we are which was super nice. We got twice to our room fruits and wine, once even was written for "honny moon", actually it wasnt our honny moon but it was very funny to receive postcard like this and second time for my birthday. About waiters - Afrim was so nice, he had so much kidnesss inside, he even said when we were late for dinner to my boyfriend "slowly, no problem". He looked like a man who LOVES his job and what he is doing. Cleaning lady made birds from towels for us - it was so beautiful. Tania in resastaurant was behaving always professional and also she was very kind. Pizza man George and "fish men" always with smile on faces and givig tasty food. The only thing which was missing was "Greek evening" with zorba but I think animators can think about it for the future :)"
"I spent a week at Sovereign Hotel in June with my sister, brother-in-law and nephew. I can only say words of appreciation for the service we received there. All rooms were cleaned on daily basis. Food extremely delicious, versatile and such a great choice of desserts it was impossible to taste everything. Swimming pool so clean I could not believe and beautifully illuminated in the evenings. All staff, especially maid Tanja (in charge of restaurant), very kind and helpful I can't even describe and entertainment team so funny and engaged in their duties. Every day and every evening was different with lots of activities to chose from. I also had a very pleasant experience at Flageos Spa based at the Hotel. The close location to Kardamena made it easy to book a boat trip to volcano Stefano and do some souvenir shopping. The beach was literally across the road but it was such a pleasure to stay at the hotel that we did not have a need to swim in the sea. It was my first ever proper holiday and so great that I am still over the moon. I would definitely recommend that hotel to everyone!"
