"Rooms are very clean. Beds are comfortable. My only comment is that there isn't enough room to place second suitcase (there is floor space). Staff is very helpful, kind and accomodating. Hotel organized a guide for us for Valley of Temples in advance. The guide, Dr. Salvatore Varisano, was excellent. I think it's a great place to stay and take day trips from in area. The hotel is located off the old town square and in a quiet part of town - a great place to come back to after travelling in the area during the day."

"Stayed there 2 nights in late May. We wanted to see the Valley of the Temples, but wanted a small, quiet village in which to stay. Favara is this place, with terrific cafes and restaurants. The Belmonte is a very good hotel, nice rooms, and very close to its sister hotel, the fancy Alba Palace. Note that you check in AT the Alba. The staff all had good to fairly good English skills, so that made things easier. Thank heavens the young man at the desk was a parking whiz. Parking is pretty much insane, depending on the time of day you arrive. Just give him the keys and let him do the work! Our tiny car was shifted a few times each day, but it was of no worry to us! And, when we needed the car, it was there quickly. A/C worked fine, room very clean, bathroom great, and it was QUIET. Just off the main square, lined with cafes for sitting and people watching, from coffee to prosecco. Breakfast was held each morning at the Alba Palace, with obliging staff to squeeze you fresh o.j. and make you yet another cappucino. Had dinner one night at the Alba Palace restaurant, separately reviewed in the restaurant section because it was that good, really top notch. Would we go again? Yep, and this time, we have a really good map!"
"We booked the Belmont Hotel in Favara, it turned out to be the best in every way of our tour of Sicily. We used Favara as a base to travel all around Valley of the Temples and Agrigento. Cannot recomment this hotel highly enough and the Alba Palace where we ate all our meals. Breakfast was fantastic they served hot cold, and Italian. All fresh and great coffee. We ate dinner there every night as the food was too good to eat elsewhere. Staff extremely helpful at all times and nothing was too much for them to do. They also have parking. Absolutly great will definately return if ever in Sicily Ann Jones Dublin Ireland"
"This hotel is really great. It looks quite new, and the style is modern. The rooms are big and comfortable and clean. (Small remark: showerhead needs to be treated to talk the calc away and to function normally). The reception and the breakfast is in the other albe hotel. The breakfast has a good choice and the service very friendly. "

"We stayed here in November as part of an organised tour of Sicily. The hotel is in a nice location with its own grounds going down to the beach but it is in a residential area remote from town and everything else, so the hotel is the only option for eating and drinking. I imagine it is much livelier in warmer weather. On the plus side the hotel has a large bar and lounge for socialising with the rest of the tour group. We had a room with a good view over the pool, closed unfortunately, and towards the sea. Not all rooms have a sea view. The room was very clean. It had lots of storage space and convenient USB sockets to charge phones. The buffet breakfast could have been better; there was little fresh fruit which is our preference. Dinner was acceptable but not outstanding but then catering for 50 people at one sitting is not easy. The hotel has a policy that guests are not allowed food or drink in their room - but there is a minibar."
"The hotel is situated at the top of a high road form the village. The rooms are comfortable and the food was adequate and occasionally very good. Portions reasonable and the service good. Balconies to enable you to sit outside, with some difficulty because of the size, and not all views good. As the hotel is quite a way from the village unless you walk down and get a taxi back, it is a steep hill. Would have liked to have seen the town/village but not possible by the time the meal was finished. Maybe a shuttle bus to the town would be a good addition."
"Judging from the decor, which is very over the top, we thought this could be a very good resort. The outdoor areas are beautiful, but the lovely pool was closed and the gym facilities were closed as well. We were at the end of the season. The room is small, but modern, with good storage, comfy bed and good lighting. I hate the tiny showers in Sicily, where you can almost not lift your arms because they bump into the door, but they are pretty standard there. The walk to the beach is VERY long with lots of steps, but once you get there it's nice. We had a nice dinner at the hotel of seafood risotto, fruit (unripe), chickpea frittters and semifreddo. The dining room was very hot. Service was ok. Breakfasts are unremarkable. The hotel is not near anything else, so don't expect to go to other restaurants once you're there."

"Based on the pictures and reviews, we actually extended our booking by one night at this place. But at the end, we were underwhelmed by the experience. Pro: - no fault with the property: it's set on a beautiful ground with fragrant flowers and beautiful interior. Rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. - It is located in the middle of olive orchard guarded by the charming resident dog, Rex. Cons: - breakfast selection was poor except for the cakes, which were excellent. But I pity the unripe, tasteless fruits (in Sicily!) and very salty, dry rolled-up omelette. One breakfast, we were served left-over cakes from the christening party the night before. It was a good cake though. - breakfast service was appalling: we had to repeatedly asked for coffee refill (coffee was served in a little thermos for the whole room), extra plates, extra water etc as no one watched over the buffet to ensure refill. The time was spent by the solitary lady manning the station by polishing knives or chatting in the kitchen. There was also no possibility of asking anything in the morning because the lady didn't speak English at all. We had to get the receptionist to translate my order of scrambled egg. - we had three dinners on the property and the food was underwhelming: the tastes and creations were standard and not at all a reflection of Sicily. Menu was also limited but rarely changed so if you stay a few nights in a row, you might have to eat the same thing. - services were mixed. As mentioned, breakfast service was terrible but we had really good service from the South African lady during the evening meals. She was the highlight of the place as she was knowledgeable, professional and prompt. Overall, I really would love the place and actually did try to spend two days just chilling in the hotel because the place is just beautiful but given the poor breakfast, mixed service and unimpressive dinner, it's not a place to just lounge around and enjoy the hotel."
"A beautiful old complex of farm properties on a hillside 10 km from Agrigento, restored to a high standard. My wife and I spent four nights here during a 40th wedding annviersayr trip. We had a beautiful room, with a balcony with a wonderful view out over the country and then the sea. The service was extremely friendly and helpful (excelelnt english !). Lots of lovely places to sit and enjoy. Very good restaurant, both for dinner and breakfast. and an ideal cetnre to visit the beauty of teh sicilian south coast, and the amazing temples of Agrigento. Would love to go back !"
"This was one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Everything was perfect, amazing attention to detail. Staff lovely, pool beautiful. The room was spotless. We will definitely come back again. The food at dinner was great too."

"From the moment Carmelo greeted us at our car until we departed with Elda’s friendly smile, this place was like a dream. The room was perfectly made for our family of 4. We ate dinner at the hotel the first night having from from the USA and rather jet lagged. One by one our kids fell asleep at dinner and the cook and receptionist were so kind to wrap their meals and help us get the kids to bed. Our boys loved running around the property and the pool, which is total perfection. Finally, the recommendations from whomever was at the front desk was spot-on. We went to Lustru di Luna for dinner one night and I only wish I had taken more of the opportunity over email to have them plan our few days in this beautiful part of the world."
"This is clearly a top location. We came with our 3 kids and had a very good appartement in this “resort” like hotel. The staff is extremely welcoming and it has a luxurious feel. The swimming pool is stunning and the meals are great. We stayed 3 days and visited Temple Valley and the Marches of the turcs which were very close. Everything we needed was provided for. Most of the staff is bilingual or more. I would definitely go back ! Gracie !!!"
"Wonderful hotel… Only stayed for one night but beautiful, modern… And yet very authentic. Nice people, great facilities . Beautiful pool, we were not able to use because of the weather. Very close to the Turkish steps. Highly recommend"

"The only advantage of this hotel is that there is a garden behind to see the largest cactus aloe tree and other plants around a few hundred meters. There is a supermarket to buy a few bottles of water. The next day, I saw the Valley of the Temple. How about the monuments two thousand years ago? It’s an hour of stone construction. If you look at the Valley of the Temple, you don’t have to use it in Sicily."
"By car, the hotel is free to park. On a small hill, it is very convenient to open. The room is quite big, there is a lift, the whole is the old-fashioned hotel in Europe, it is not bad, the hotel restaurant is OK, dinner and Breakfast is quite satisfactory. The hotel has a garden, which is said to be good, but these days it is very cold and there will be no shopping."
"It feels like a private hotel, the restaurant is great, the back garden is great and overlooks the Valley of the Temples. The service is very warm and the staff is very friendly. Going out to have a place to eat, you can also walk to the Valley of the Temples, along the road are big cactus 🌵"
