"Staying at another hotel in Arabba for the week we went in search of dinner. We arrived at the hotel Malita without a reservation, but a table was found for us in the bar with no fuss. As a coeliac I had been tempted by the range if dishes with meat, potatoes and polenta as offering a likely safe option, imagine my delight when the waiter assured me they can offer gluten free pasta and our lovely waitress produced gluten free bread and crackers to go with my starter, she also rushed off to check that the sauce with my chosen dish was suitable. Wonderful service, lovely food so we booked a table for our last night on Friday. Note to the hotel team, add a note to your menu that you have gluten free options. All coeliacs arriving in Arabba will love you for it! "
"I spent the last week in August based in Arabba cycling some of the classic routes in the Dolomites That in itself was a great experience made all the more agreeable by the staff and facilities in the Malita. The rooms are very clean and tidy in a good state of decoration and repair. Breakfast selection and quality was very good. I was on a half board deal, the evening meal option being chosen at Breakfast time. The choice and quality of the evening options were also very good. The staff were very professional and the whole place has a well managed feel to it. No hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone and may well end up back there in the not too distant future. The half board option is great value."
"The staff were so helpful and friendly and accommodated our group's dietary foibles with good grace and attentiveness. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were really excellent and plentiful. The room was spacious and warm - although the shower could have been a tad hotter in the evenings - and whilst there was no kettle in the room, the bar staff were happy to provide mugs of hot water for us to make tea, having brought our own tea bags....... The hotel is conveniently situated a 5 min walk from the lifts, the ski hire shop and the tourist centre. So it wasn't perfect, but we had such a great time that it seemed as though it was."

"The room was lovely, nicely decorated, fully functional, enough space for 2. The evening meal, a la carte (not the set menu), was incredibly good, beautiful both to look at and eat. Breakfast buffet was in line with COVID restrictions, served at the table, by smiling staff. And delicious. And plentiful. Great location opposite the cable car entrance. Loads of free parking. Charming helpful staff. Excellent. Way better than its 2 star rating would suggest."
"We stopped in Col di Lana during a tour of the Dolomites and had a choice of 3 or 4 restaurants. We decided upon this one as it looked the most modern and clean. The Goulash soup was amazing and at a very competitive price. My wife had gnocchi which was also well presented and very tasty. The views around were exceptional and we even got to feed the very tame Alpine Chuffs that were flying by. The staff were all very friendly and it was a great experience "
"We were pleasantly surprised with Hotel Col di Lana. Our room was very up-to-date with a great bathroom and lots of space. The restaurant was very good, and helped celebrate my wife's birthday with a surprise birthday cake. The hotel is right across the street from the lift to the Piz Boe trail, so we were able to get an early start and beat a lot of the crowds. If you're looking to hike the mountain, this is a great launch point."

"This area of the Dolomites is stunning. It is regrettable that these glorious mountains and valleys are not a bit more accessible, but the Hotel Al Forte makes the tedious drive into the area worth the time and effort. The staff -- especially Neno and Lilly in the dining room -- are absolutely the best that we've encountered in many years of traveling. The chef is very good and his breakfasts and dinners are varied, consistently delicious, and more than ample; his pastas are superb; at all breakfasts and dinners, one is tempted to overindulge. The rest of the staff are very good and Luca, at the front desk, is most helpful and congenial. The Waillant family deserves accolades for restoring the old fortress into its current condition and usage after its destruction in the fighting in this area during Great War. As Americans with much experience in the Italian Alps, we were delighted to discover this area of the Dolomites and this pleasant, comfortable hotel."
"We had a wonderful week here in mid February staying in a newly refurbished junior suite, with a fabulous view from our balcony. The beautifully restored hotel has very welcoming staff and is situated a few kilometres away from the village centre and lifts, however the shuttle system they offer is excellent. The food on offer was more than adequate albeit a little limited for vegetarians. The service was impeccable. All in all we would love to return in the future. "
"We had a fantastic stay at the hotel Al Forte. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is lovely with a historic, rustic feel and we loved the health spa with sauna. The evening meals were varied, enjoyable and sociable. Minibus transfers straight to and from the lifts were fast and efficient. The skiing was superb and the sun shone all week! Thank you to all the team at the hotel. "

"Great service from all the staff in this family run hotel. They all have an easy going and obliging manner. Oliver guided us over the Dolomites area for 4 days of riding. All the rides were excellent with regular rest stops at local cafe's and restaurants. Returned to the hotel each evening for a well earned beer served by the friendly and efficient barman, Frederico. Our (substantial) evening meals were varied and catered for all tastes. I particularly liked the buffet first course of salads and vegetables. My room was immaculately clean and comfortable with a balcony view over the valley. The Dolomite area is arguably one of the best for biking and I would be more than happy to return to this hotel again. Difficult to beat this!"
"We travelled as a party of 9 with 2 children and 1 baby. The hotel could not have been more accommodating. Very family friendly and accessible. Food and wine was incredible. Rooms were very spacious and staff were first classy. The option to rent a locker for ski equipment at the bottom of the ski lift saved us from having to carry our gear every day. The free shuttle bus to and from was also a bonus, although only a 10 minute walk back to the hotel. The slopes were excellent and varied for different levels. The pool (with a lifeguard during busy periods) and wellness were great too. We hope to return again. "
"I just spent 6 nights at the Almhof Call hotel. It is in a cute small ski town in the middle of the Dolomites. We were with a group of 25 ladies and the hotel took care of all of our needs from private dining area, power washers to wash our bikes, safe bike storage, plus all the great food and spa services. The hotel offers daily exercise classes and guided hikes as well as a complete spa. The town of San Vigilio is the perfect location to explore the dolomites. The rooms are super clean and plenty roomy. The staff is very friendly and helpful . I hope to be able to go back again."

"This is a family hotel. To me that often raises alarm bells, but this one is definitely different. The hotel is run with such professionalism and a desire for exemplary service. This translates into a very pleasant stay with every aspect exceeding expectations. Breakfast was a real surprise, I don’t know how a small hotel can provide such an amazing spread. Thank you Monica and Fabio, it’s obvious that great service runs in the blood!"
"my hiking party was booked here and i shared a room with a fellow traveler. the room was large in my experience for a European hotel. comfortable bed, large bathroom and a small balcony where we could hang some wet clothes. we ate 2 dinners and breakfasts here that were both excellent. they have a nice little 'wellness center' upstairs. sauna, steam room, tubs for soaking your feet and rocking chairs."
"We stayed in Room 2 which had a very comfortable bed and great newly refurbished bathroom. Fabio and his Family run a wonderful hotel with excellent food and service. Nothing was too much trouble and the the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Would not hesitate to recommend"

Strada Agà 44, Corvara in Badia, Trentino Alto Adige, Italy
"Before reading this review, please be advised that the most likely answer from the hotel owners to this post will be by putting all the blame on us, which will show exactly the type of administrators they are. What can I say, this hotel received us with a very dirty room, linens with hairs and unwashed sheets, tired and worn blankets, overall poor hygienic conditions. In turn we complained and were attended by an indisposed and angry manager by the name of Aleksandra who changed the sheets as if it weren't her duty (noting she was the owner!). Asked for a room change which wasn't possible and no effort was made to accommodate, ever. Decided to leave early after paying a full 50% deposit and asked for a discount for the remaining amount due which was clearly snubbed as the hotel operator (Aleksandra and her very rude husband) considering they thought their hotel is in great conditions and did not take our comments lightly. No flexibility and no concessions made. Again, it's always the guests fault and not the hotel. And here is the beauty of this story, we actually had the Italian Carabinieri (police) called on us because the paranoid owners thought that I was recording them on my cel. phone (which I wish I had been so you can all see how rude their treatment was towards my wife and I). Obviously the police officer couldn't find a reason to charge us with anything and even went as far as to tell the owners that the hotel room they had given us was dirty. We eventually had to end up paying our full amount but I went ahead and blocked the transaction with our credit card company. Never in my 35 years of traveling have I faced such a humiliating and grotesque service. This was truly appalling. At the end we went to La Perla and Posta Zirm, much better options and with wonderful guest services, stay there if you can. All other negative reviews of this hotel state the same, the staff is simply rude and unfriendly. They are not a good hotel and have a lot to learn in terms of hospitality. Mediocre breakfast, limited wellness center hours and off the beaten path from all central town locations. My wife and I complained personally with Damiano Dapunt at the Alta Badia tourism board of the poor treatment we received here. So stay away! Plenty of other options in Corvara."
"Thank you to Albert and his family and staff for making our stay in Corvara a wonderful experience. The hotel was excellent with a great atmosphere, good food and excellent local and international wines. The Spa was excellent. Very clean and the Massages really helped my wife with her post skiing pain. We went as three families from Swansea and we all agreed we were very lucky to find such a great hotel. We hired lockers at the Boe lift so that we could easily walk back and fore with out skis and boots. Thats a nice way to warm up and warm down. Again we were so welcomed by the staff it was terrific. We hope we can return next year. "
"Great stay with friendly staff and a good location. Ski bus stop close to the hotel and the hotel can sell you the bus tickets cheaper than buying on the bus. Lots of options for breakfast available at the hotel and very filling dinners. The room had lovely views over the mountains."
