"Really don't know where to start , everything about this hotel is just fantastic, from the service at reception to the rooms , the restaurant and the food , amazing. We arrived after a very long journey to be greeted by a very helpful young man at reception. He provided us with all the details of the details that we needed to make the most of our stay - breakfast/afternoon tea/dinner times, free bus pass for the area and explained how we needed to order our evening meal at breakfast. The rest of the staff were also as helpful and accommodating . We booked to have a lake view room and we were not disappointed- quite frankly the view was breathtaking. The room was immaculately clean, we had a seating area, balcony , large shower room and separate toilet. The choice for breakfast did not disappoint, plenty of fresh fruit, yogurts, breads, cakes, pastries, fresh honey, omelette station, meats and cheeses. Sadly we didn't actually get to try the afternoon tea on offer as the area was so beautiful we spent all of our time visiting the area. The evening meal was wonderful with an excellent choice of fresh salad to start, soup, main course to include a healthy and vegetarian option, dessert and coffee. Always service with a smile . The pool albeit small was most welcome after a days walking, jacuzzi steam rooms and sauna were all immaculately clean and well maintained. The evening entertainment was very good, we really liked the man singing and playing the piano. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel and its staff"
"This is our second time at this hotel. The first one in june 2015 was fantastic, now in may 2019 it`s only good. One of the reasons why we came to Vier Jahreszeiten in Maurach was because of the food, but the dinner now is not as good as it used to be. The chef is the same, or is it? Richie, is there, but he is not to be seen, only in their specialityrestaurant, Michl Stub`n. In the reception, by the day of departure, when we should pay the hotelbill, we saw that someone had some drinks at the hotelbar at our expence for EUR 40. With our right roomnumber and name, but with a totally wrong and false signature. Who did this, we don`t know, we never went to the hotelbar during our visit. And no excuses from the woman in the reception for this incident. The owners of this hotel have a lack of control routins at their hotel.Is all this because of a change in ownership in late 2015, we don`t know, but what we know is that it`s not gonna be a third time for our family at this hotel."
"This was one of only a couple of hotels that responded to our request for information in advance of booking. We were able to book a large group with a choice of rooms. The welcome was friendly, the staff helpful throughout our stay but we felt they could have smiled more often. Staying in the residence building meant we did not pass reception regularly which was a bit odd at first. The food was excellent, the spa facilities too, especially the view from the sauna. Quirky to find a radio and Vespa museum in the basement."
