Reviews From Real Travelers
Stayed here for 2 days 1 night for my first solo work trip and it was great after not traveling for so long. I messaged the hotel via the Homewood Suites app about early check in as I would arrive at the hotel prior to check-time time and the concierge promptly responded in timely manner. They said they can't guarantee it but will note it down for housekeeping. Upon arrival, I spoke with the receptionist who was the one who I conversated with via app. I waited about 10 minutes and I was able to get the keys to my room, 404. While waiting, I noticed there is a breakfast area and business center. There is also a gym and pool but I wasn't able to use these unfortunately. Upon entering my room, I noticed it was clean and faced the parking lot and had alot of natural sunlight which I appreciated. I looked over the entire room and thoroughly examined the bed because I have a fear of carrying bed bugs home and it passed my expectations. Very clean and comfortable space. There are stores nearby you can go to such as Hobby Lobby and Walmart too. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

This was our 2nd stay at this Homewood Suites and it was just as pleasant as our first. We have family in the area and visit quite frequently. This is now our go-to place to stay. We found this hotel to be clean, comfortable, well maintained and friendly. The room was spacious and the morning breakfast was excellent as well. They only offer the even social one evening a week, which is a shame as it is quite good. I do hope they consider bringing it back to 4 nights a week or even every night as the Drury hotels do. We travel frequently and wish that we could find a hotel like this in ever place we go. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, safe and spacious place to stay, this would suit your needs perfectly.

Reviews From Real Travelers
I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars, but some things made that not possible. Tony, at the front desk, was great. He was professional, accommodating, even answered the phone immediately, when we called down with a question. Hotel is clean and well kept so no issues there. It’s not the JW so travelers, go there with a realistic view. The reason why I couldn’t give the place 5 stars comes down to three things 1) what hotel outside a major city charges for parking? This hotel has a $10 per day charge. We are in the middle of the suburbs way outside Philadelphia so why is there a parking fee? 2) there are no usb charger ports. Looked around the desk etc and couldn’t find any. It’s 2022, and should be standard. 3) the room door slams shut and can be heard down the hall. We had some late arriving neighbors and early departing neighbors and when the door closes, it woke everyone up. Simple fix with tension on door, but it’s the little things that make all the difference to be 5 stars, at least in my book. Would definitely return, overall it was a very good stay, my 5 stars are reserved for amazing hotels, which I have reviewed in the past. This is still above par and with a bit of fine tuning can certainly end up with 5 stars.

My kids and I had a wonderful stay here! We were greeted by such a cheerful person, and in the morning we had an equally welcoming interaction by the front desk person. She even brought up our coffee and bagels from Starbucks after I had called about something else! The room had lovely touches like a statue lit by a warmly glowing light and artwork. And, the shower had shampoo in refillable jars instead of wasting those little plastic containers - wow, thank you! Everything was incredibly warm, comfortable, and totally Covid-safe. Unlike other hotels we have stayed at on our cross-country road trip, here the front desk people wear secure masks covering their nose and chin, and the dividers between front staff and guests keep everyone safe. Well done!

Reviews From Real Travelers
We stayed at this hotel during November 2020 for 2.5 weeks, height of covid, BUT our first opportunity to see our first grandson and prepare Thanksgiving for our son and his family. The staff was wonderful, working out a system of periodic room access for bed linens and cleaning. AND leaving 4-5 days of coffee and fresh towels. We just spent mid-August to the second weekend in September in the now renovated Courtyard. This time helping our son and his wife with an arriving soon grandchild. ONCE again, the staff got us into the same suite on the 3rd floor, and management and housekeeping took great care of us the whole time. Bed linen changes every 2-3 days at our request. Fresh towels to last days. Regular coffee in abundance for the room. My wife ran down and bought breakfast sandwiches or cereal to go most morning. Twice a week we had to drive our daughter-in-law into CHOP for tests and monitoring so no breakfast. We were coming and going at weird hours but always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Special thanks to Kim the daytime operations supervisor and to the GM Roger M. YOU have great people working for you and we will be back before the end of 2022.

How do I give this hotel a zero? This is not the Marriott that you have stayed at or are used to. The lobby is not the same as the ad/pictures. The hallways are tiny and narrow. The walls are peeling, dark and dirty. The elevator fits 4 people and is very slow. The rooms are no better than a motel room- gray walls and bathrooms so plain- walls are dirty and peeling!! This is not the Marriott that touts service, cleanliness, or excellence in rooms.the photos in the ad are misleading as the hotel is not that clean or “bright” Several important issues during our stay: 1. Towel bar fell off when we were hanging a towel. Maintenance came t fix it and he hammered it into the wall. The towel bar now has hammer dents all over it and is crooked! Looks like a job my 3 year old nephew did. 2. Our phone in the room didn’t work. Yes we have a cell but using the room phone makes calling other rooms, housekeeping and the front desk easier. Also… calling for emergencies! We told the front desk and basically we’re told “sorry but nothing we can do” 3. There was a piece of the air conditioner on the bottom that was falling off- for safety reasons we put the office chair in front of it so my kids wouldn’t scrape/cut their foot walking by it. 4. The rooms smelled so musty, moldy and old… like it has gross smell to it. 5. Bathroom door does NOT lock! It has a lock on it but it’s broken. Really awful- fix the door handle! 6. The seats in the lobby- don’t sit in them. The seats material is falling off and peeling. The pieces were stuck to our shorts/pants. Please take your money and go somewhere else. Actually, friends stayed at the Double Tree Hilton which is right next door. They had a great stay, clean, plenty of elevators, nice rooms, good customer service, their room phone worked and get this… free hot breakfast. Don’t stay here. We had a horrible stay and will not come back again

First, we are never disappointed in Courtyard Marriot. We have had many stays at different locations for weddings, weekend trips, events, etc. My husband and I recently had a wedding mid-march. We were unable to stay at the hotel we booked due to a family emergency. The next day, we called the hotel only to find out we were charged for two rooms (mistake of the hotel). Many calls made, voicemails left and it was hard to have the issue resolved (could also be because the recent pandemic). We tried calling again today and spoke with the general manager, MARK, who not only was patient in listening to the situation, friendly, but also very easy to talk to and accommodating to our issue with no problems or hesitation. Awesome customer service and management skills!! Would definitely book through him/this hotel in the future.

I checked in for one night. The hotel appeared clean which has always been a priority for me and even more so now with the pandemic still in full force. Upon checkout the next morning I looked under the bed, as I always do, to ensure that nothing fell under the bed as I didn’t want to leave anything behind. I was shocked at what I saw! I don’t know what this fluid was (and believe me, I wasn’t looking to investigate) but it looked like something from a crime scene. There were also crumbs under the bed (I did not bring food into the room). This is unacceptable under normal conditions but now with the pandemic still going strong, this is hazardous. I regret not looking under the bed before I slept in it! I should never have assumed that this property was following the cleaning protocols which were posted on a large sign by the front desk meant to put one’s mind at ease. Clearly this notice was “window dressing” at best. Unfortunately this sign gave me a false sense of security. I reported this issue to the front desk as I was leaving. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I did.

The surrounding environment is really beautiful, especially the house in the town, very special, the hotel room is quite big, go to the surrounding supermarkets to go shopping, within 10 to 25 minutes. The only downside is that the surrounding shops are closed very early...

This hotel is the best in Philadelphia when booking with the Marriott franchisor. Arguably, this is the best hotel in Philadelphia. The staff are exceptional. I never have an issue with accommodations. All of their rooms from the basic to the most expensive include amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board. That’s a plus! The cleanliness could be better. I’ve found strands of hair in my bathroom on a few occasions and a pillow case behind my bed once. Nevertheless, it is clean enough for comfort and for the kids to run around the room. The renovations help accentuate the staff and the hotel’s elegance.

This a very good hotel to stay in, why? Such friendly staff, such a beautiful room, and what a convenient location! I would recommend it! Best of luck and best of joy to everyone who saw this comment!
