"My husband and I have stayed at The Lodge and Club several times over the last 7 years and have never been disappointed. This trip, we stayed in one of the suites and loved it. I had knee surgery 5 months ago and am still recovering. They put us in a room close to the lobby, bar, restaurant.....so I wouldn’t have so far to walk, and we had easy elevator access as stairs are still a bit tricky. Our room was spacious and beyond comfortable. The room had a fireplace which came in handy as it was a little chilly last week. The best part ever about any room at The Lodge is the cozy window seat and the ability to actually open your window and listen to the sound of the surf all day/night long. The staff at The Lodge are first rate and provide a great experience for their guests. Shout out to Buddy, Mike, and Sidney. We look forward to seeing you again in 3 weeks!"
"Had the pleasure of staying one night at the lodge in an upper floor, corner room facing the beach. Amazing room with fireplace, window seat overlooking balcony and beach, huge bathroom. Beach is wide and beautiful. Wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities the resort has to offer, but we will be back!"
"Everything about this resort is amazing. Stayed over Thanksgiving. Food was excellent. The quality of service was wonderful. The room we had was near the Ocean and had a fireplace for the cool nights.Beautful.Hope to make this a yearly tradition! Have traveled a lot and hard for us to think of a better resort!"

"I recently returned from a night at this hotel. My husband and I were in town to attend a concert, and I wanted him to have an enjoyable overnight stay. I was a guest at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club in 2018 and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case on this trip. When we arrived, we noticed that a lot of construction was taking place on the golf course and along other areas of the property. Upon checking in, I commented on the construction and requested to be assigned to a room away from it. I was informed that my room was overlooking the lagoon so I would not be near the construction. However, when my husband and I drove over to our room, much to our dismay, we looked out from our balcony and observed and heard bulldozers and construction actively taking place behind our room. Due to the noise, we were unable to use our balcony. While I should have taken the time to have returned to the reception area and requested to be relocated to another building, I thought it would not be that bad considering that we were only staying one night. We left the room and didn't return until late that evening. The following morning, I was awakened by a loud repeated beeping noise before 8 a.m. I asked my husband if an alarm clock was going off in in a nearby room. He told me that he had been awakened by the same horrid beeping noise. However, he informed me that it was not coming from a clock in an adjacent room. He explained that the beeping was caused by construction equipment backing up. Sure enough, I looked outside and noticed a bulldozer in operation. When I called the registration desk, I received an apology for the early morning noise and was told the hotel would normally move me to a different building, but they could not do so since I was checking out that day. She later called back and said the manager would deduct the resort fee(roughly $30) from my bill. While this was appreciated, it certainly didn't make up for the rude wakeup call. When I'm a guest at a hotel, especially one rated as highly as the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, my goals are to receive a decent night of sleep and to relax. Unfortunately, the construction hampered my ability to accomplish either objective."
"We booked this at the very last minute and as a splurge while visiting the area. We had been checking out of a hotel in Saint Augustine and called ahead. The gentleman who booked our reservation said the room was ready and we could come at any time. Since we were checking out at 11 and check-in was not till 4 this was such a huge bonus to us to be able to get in early. When we got there the place was fabulous....a bit ritzy for us but we loved it. Wonderful service and friendliness from all staff. The beach was gorgeous. We only ate at the Beach (shack?) and the Tavern but all food was good. Our room at the Inn was great(except for the shower curtain problems) and loved that we had a wonderful courtyard off our room to go outside as well as balcony with view of the water. Would absolutely come back."
"Stayed three nights for a work seminar. Will definitely return for a stay with my wife. Top notch service. Superb staff. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort all three nights. Dodd was excellent and service was spot on. Rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend and will definitely return. "

"We have stayed at this facility several times. Unfortunately, we had to stay here during the COV-19 crisis. On arrival we were greeted by a Chuck at the front desk. (I think he’s been at the hotel as long as it’s been open 😃) Chuck’s greeting was very warm and very professional, as usual. The check in process was very efficient and he explained all the details of the hotel during the crisis. He explained how the hotel was cleaning the rooms. He further explained they were only booking rooms that had been vacated for three days. A very warm professional team member.! The room was very clean and “smelled” good. The Bistro was serving breakfast from 0700-1000 am and 5:00-8:00 pm, otherwise they were closed. They only offered room service or takeout. We ordered our dinner and breakfast and enjoyed them on our “lanai”. The wait staff was very friendly and warm. The food was excellent! We obviously didn’t like being at the hotel during the crisis, However, the warm and extremely friendly staff made our visit very comfortable. "
"This hotel is perfect for a stay at Mayo. It is right across the parking lot! Rooms have been recently renovated and are very nice! There is a wonderful restaurant in the lobby that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (additional cost). The food and service are excellent. You really don’t need to leave the hotel. The rates are high but the location is the reason and it it the only hotel across from the clinic. We had a lower rate as we stayed 7 nights"
"My husband is a patient at Mayo Clinic therefore we stay here because of the convenience. Everyone is very friendly, the rooms are nice, you can walk to many of the buildings and they have a shuttle to drop you off and pick you up. I didn’t give a 5 star because of the price. They are more money than other places in the area. I assume they charge more because if the location. Our room was around $380 per night."

"Of all the hotels I've stayed that were renovated...this one is the best. I had a hard time telling if it was a brand new hotel or renovated. We did a night over in a room with a king bed. The room has all your usual hotel accommodations...mini-fridge, microwave, nice sized flat screen t.v., iron, etc. Our room was nice and clean, the bathroom was uber spacious, with a large walk-in shower. I really loved the lighting in the room, very updated and well done. It had a modern, but comfy look/feel to it. Our bed was SO comfortable. There was a chair with a detached foot rest as well as a desk with a chair in the room. The ac unit was a more updated, not so loud style of ac. Check-in and check-out went off without a hitch. We were able to find parking easily. I also noticed they had a little convenience kiosk next to the lobby that had wine, beer and other things for sale. The lobby had a nice set up with a lot of places to sit. The hotel is located very near to Jacksonville Beach, about a mile from it I believe. The ONLY drawback is that it didn't have a Jacuzzi, bummer. I was told some of the rooms have one, but not one by the pool. I would definitely stay here again."
"We decided to try this hotel after many years of staying at the Courtyard Marriott next to Mayo Clinic where the prices have become ridiculous. This hotel is perfect, the room is comfortable, newly renovated, the bathroom is large with a separate shower and tub. The room is large, we had two queen beds, there’s a desk, a chair and an ergonomic chair also. A Kerrigan coffeemaker, a small fridge and a safe. There is a guest laundry room, a nice pool and a great gym. We drive to Mayo Clinic everyday but for the price difference (40%) it is worth it, especially when you have to stay for a long time. Breakfast is good and plentiful with lots of options and included in the rate. Will stay here again."
"We checked out of another hotel that was terrible and came to this one. We were in Jacksonville to go to the Mayo Clinic. This hotel has a shuttle that runs all day to take you the hospital & pick you up! Room was immaculate and the bed comfy. Hotel staff were ALL friendly and very helpful! P.S. 24 hour coffee is served and it’s delicious! Will stay here again! "

"We stopped here after a very long day of driving. We were traveling to Port Canaveral for a cruise. We checked in super late and the desk clerk was super nice and friendly. She got us a room quickly and we were able to get a great nights rest. We also appreciate their support for the military. Very nice stay!! "
"I came in late from the road with my senior parents. I was thanked for being a Gold Elite but was not once informed at arrival nor prior to that there was renovations occuring. Once in the room, i saw that this was not an updated/remodeled CY and I knew our 1 night stay was doomed. I inspected the room as I lysoled it down. These were my findings: finger prints on the desk, dust inside the alarm clock, soap scum on the bottom of the bathroom door, soap scum and water stains on the shower wall, and the fact that the hotel badly needs remodeling. I called down and asked for a non adjoining room that was inspected because this room was not cleaned. The agent brought up keys to a room down the hall. As soon as you get off the elevator there is debris and small bits of trash on the floor, it needed vacuuming. The 2nd room was slightly better but the bathroom was covered with soap scum so I cleaned it with my lysol and prayed for the best. Not a pleasant stay for my parents and I, we wanted a quick yet nice, clean stay and it wasnt that.a waste of my points for redemption stay."
"If you would like to stay at a construction site then this is the hotel for you. They began at 8am and keep it going until 7pm. I really wish that there was some mention of this when booking. I am sure when they are done in a few months it will be a great hotel like most courtyards. But I would suggest that you avoid for now. "

"My 90-year-old mother and I received care that was above and beyond any and all expectations in a very difficult season of our lives -- the COVID 19 Pandemic. From the moment we received our welcome by Laney, the general manager, she and her staff did everything they could to make our lengthy stay with them -- we were there about 5 weeks altogether -- pleasurable and met all our needs, often asking if there was anything more they could do for us. They made us feel safe, cared for and almost like family. All the facilities were in exceptionally excellent condition and the service that was provided to us was always prompt, courteous and even kind. We grew to love each and every person on that staff, each of whom always served us graciously, even in a season when all people were under duress. We will never forget the great gift this was to us as we waited for a safe time for us to return to New York, where the pandemic was strong. Thank you to everyone. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude! Thank you, Laney and team! We love you and we will be back!"
"Booked via Amex app based on reviews and pictures from Trip Advisor. Both were accurate and we stayed in a king studio which was perfect for three nights traveling with a 2 month old. Room is spacious enough to stretch out and offers a small kitchen and a full size refrigerator. We were skeptical as we drove here as the area has several low scale accommodations on the road leading here, however, this property is directly a cross from a Sheriff department and the property is quiet and rooms themselves are very clean. The staff was friendly upon check-in and happy to assist when we decided to extend an additional night."
"I had to travel to Jacksonville for a month long work project, and after one night at a horrific Extended Stay America, I transferred to this hotel. I could not have been more satisfied with it! Very clean, and very comfortable; it made the month away from home more than bearable. The room was very modern and clean, and the kitchen setup was very nice. Jeremiah was very friendly and helpful; the air conditioner in my room failed and he had me moved out instantly and without issue. I will certainly be back here next time I travel to Jacksonville."

"So this was a quick 2 night stop to visit friends..This hotel was really lovely, small and intimate. The rooms was immaculate, the bathroom great to spread out for hair and makeup..Excellent breakfast in the mornings, in a very nice surrounding...very cute, small outdoor pool..its not a resort hotel but whatever you need us there, not far from the beach either.Walkable to a huge upscale stripmall..The staff was super friendly..The hotel was convenient to locate..It had a tropical feel, surround by palm trees..We would stop here again.."
"This is the hotel I selected for my Mayo visit. Other ones I have used are Hampton on Beach drive to the north, and Marriott on the Mayo campus. THIS hotel is the best in my view, especially on price. Just to the east are restaurants like Long Horn, Chik Fil A and so on. Also good chinese take out at WOK N ROLL. I have spent thousands of nights at hotels over the last 30 years, and this is a good one; I WOULD STAY AGAIN!"
"This hotel accepts block bookings from children’s soccer teams, then allows one irrational elderly guest to dictate the movement of said children within the hotel, nothing to do with Covid, kids were wearing masks and observing protocol, she was the one approaching them. I should have known what was coming, when I had to wait in line at check in behind said irrational person as she reeled off a litany of ridiculous complaints about anything she could think off. If you do not want large volumes of children in the hotel, then please remove yourself from the database of the companies that make block bookings on behalf of children’s soccer teams. In addition, there were several groups sitting in the foyer. Some were making a little noise. Rather than address the people who were making the noise, it was demanded at 8.50pm on a Saturday night that EVERYONE had to vacate the foyer and go to their rooms! The delightful old dear with the aversion to children ( and humans in general) was complaining about the noise. So in order to appease one irrational guest, everyone else had a curfew ? .Really.! I am certain, a more experienced staff member would have not been overwhelmed and intimidated by an angry, irrational elderly guest. I look forward to the follow up with the duty manager in the morning, there was no duty manager tonight as they were having tonight off. We only stayed at this hotel as it is recommended as being family friendly........why else would they take these back bookings? ."

"Hotel staff was not very friendly at check-in. Considering I’m diamond I usually get a water or snack on arrival. I got nothing . I wasn’t told anything about the new rules since the pandemic. I was charged $75 for the dog for 1 night. Our room seemed clean at first glance . We moved the footstool and found toe nail clippings under it. Yuck! The shower had mold in it. The next morning after rinsing our dishes and placing them in the dishwasher - I found other dishes sitting inside. Breakfast consists of a brown bag with juice, muffin, granola - breakfast sandwiches are available but not heated. You have to take them back to your room to heat in microwave. When I asked for coffee I was told that it was in the rooms. None available in lobby. We had - 1 cup upon arrival the night before in our room and 1 cup that morning. The desk clerk did give me a few pods along with creamer so I could go make my own in the room. My daughter stayed at a Home 2 Suites the week before in Ormond Beach and no additional pet fee was added - they had a hot breakfast of their choosing including waffles and toast. I don’t feel this hotel was up to the Hilton standards. It cost us over $200 for 1 night and wasn’t that great."
"My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on our way north. From the moment you walk in you realize you're in for a treat. The lobby is very modern and clean with very tasteful appointments. I was immediately greeted by a young lady at the front desk who was friendly and informative and let us know about breakfast during covid19. Our room was absolutely perfect. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and all the utensils. I should have taken pictures to attach to this review to show how well executed the floor plan is. Not only that, but the most important thing when traveling is cleanliness and this room and hotel is spotless. Kudos to everyone involved in the operation of this hotel!!!"
"Booked through booking.com, check in was pleasant, however our room was hot, really hot, the AC was running for over an hour and still hadn't cooled off, Went to front desk and that's when Hilton won our loyalty, your front desk clerk Coi ltreal I think I am spelling it right, and maintenance staff Joey, checked the AC personally, and then immediately found us another room. The personal service was great, and the jump to action for our comfort , outstanding. Thank you "
