"As a frequent traveler in Bangkok, I decided to choose this hotel because of the great reviews. Service is great, the room is spacious and clean. The only downside of this place is NO ELEVATOR! Haha Oh, well! It is only until the 4th floor and unfortunately, we were located at the highest floor. I and my partner are heavy drinkers so it was kinda pain to go up when you are drunk or holding your pee. Plus your 5 inches high heels! Hahaha! It was fun though. But I will not recommend it to people like me who likes to party at night. Hehehe And oh, the breakfast is horrible. The only good thing about the breakfast was the desert. Sigh! I was so disappointed about that. For transportation, Grab was the best choice as this place is very hard to find if you take a normal taxi. Overall, it was a good experience. The place is indeed instagrammable but sorry never again gonna climb up until 4th floor! Hahahaha I suggest requesting for 1st floor when booking the place. "
"The hotel is in a small alley, the outside looks very small and exquisite, but the facilities in the room are quite simple, the layout is not reasonable, the bed has only one charging head, the toilet and the bathroom are facing no door, only one door. Fortunately, the location of the hotel is good, easy to travel, very close to the subway station and king power, just a few hundred meters walk. In general, it doesn't feel worth the price of 400 nights. In the evening, I went to the Ratchada train night market. The Sichuanese did not get used to the taste of Thailand and bought a lot of fruit to eat, haha! The hotel is very close to the Rainbow Cloud Hotel and can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. It must be set outside, and the panoramic view of Bangkok is full of sight."
"#早餐# An alley went in and started to be a little scared and stayed for two nights. I still feel that Bangkok is very safe. The first night I found the balcony lock is bad. Because the language is not available, the customer service customer I found on Ctrip will help me solve the next day. The hotel fixed the lock. The front desk will speak English."

"New Year's Day travel, this hotel recommended by friends, the overall feeling is very good, the style is more Thai, the room size is large, the facilities are good, and the price is high. It is located in the Sukhumvit neighbourhood and is fully furnished. There are many five-star hotels and spas along the road. When you reach the end, it is about one or two kilometers. You can see the tall EM mall and the light rail. Did not enjoy the hotel breakfast, but there was Starbucks downstairs, and breakfast was great."
"I loved staying at the Davis Hotel. Buffet breakfast was great every morning. I used the gym every day. The rooftop pool, sauna and jacuzzi was remarkable after an hour workout. The location was perfect and the hotel provides a tuk-tuk every 20 min to take you anywhere to explore your surroundings. The drinks at the bar was a bit expensive and they have a Starbucks if you like coffee. I would definitely recommend staying at the Davis Hotel. "
"The suite room is very big ~ and the price is very real and cost-effective. There is a free car to bts and shopping mall every 20 minutes. There are two swimming pools in the hotel. The swimming pool over the villa is very special and people are less comfortable. The food in the restaurant next to the hotel is delicious, and jet lag can be seen by Thai stars. Absolutely great"

300/2 Charoenkrung Rd., Yannawa, Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand
"When I stayed at Four Seasons Bangkok a few weeks ago I noticed that the new Capella hotel was immediately next door and found out that both properties actually have the same owner which raised my interest. I decided to try Capella for the first time and was more impressed than by our stay at Four Seasons. I suspect some travelers will choose Four Seasons based on name recognition and the lower price tag for the entry level rooms but in my opinion Capella is well worth the price premium and beats Four Seasons in almost every aspect. Capella views their main competitor to be Mandarin Oriental rather than FS. I found the service at Capella to be more down to earth therefore appealing to a different age bracket than the more formal Mandarin Oriental. Many people generally consider MO to be the #1 hotel in Bangkok and I predict that in short order Capella will gain a significant number of fans and will eventually overtake MO as the top luxury hotel in the city. To maximize the advantage of being located on the river, the vast majority of rooms at Capella are directly facing the river, even the entry level rooms. This is quite different from Four Seasons where the first two room types have no view or only partial views. For direct river views you need the third room type at FS and for this reason alone it automatically makes price comparisons between the two hotels flawed if only comparing the price of the cheapest rooms at both properties. In other words, Capella is less of a price premium over FS than we would be led to believe at first glance. The entry level room at Capella is the Riverfront room type which are the rooms on the 4th floor only. The second room type Riverfront Premier is identical but located on floors 5-10. Those rooms avoid the main drawback of the entry level rooms which is that they are sitting immediately above the Verandah rooms and have less privacy because from the terrace of the Verandah rooms, if looking back up you can partially see in the living room of the 4th floor rooms despite the tinted windows. The third category of rooms used to be Verandah but because they have been far more popular than expected, the hotel moved them up to 4th room type. The Verandah rooms are the same as Riverfront and Riverfront Premier except that instead of having a small terrace, they have a large terrace with a private plunge pool which makes them unique. This room type capitalizes on the strength of Capella which is location and having river views. Those rooms are hard to beat for any other hotel in Bangkok. Privacy was fairly good on each side of the pool due to vegetation providing a natural wall between rooms. Our room was similar as Four Seasons which is good but perhaps not the highest quality build in the city. The materials did not always come across as ultra-luxury for example the cabinets, some of the furniture, and for flooring there was too much carpet to my taste – the hardwood floor was only a"
"My stayed at Capella from last month. My unforgettable moment journey start from the moment that arrival to the hotel. When entering at lobby which is tea lounge. Floor to ceiling window facing to the Chao Phraya River, unique design and interior that make you would like to take a snapshot then post via story social media. Time to check in, The Living Room is a place that offer respite from the vibrant bustle beyond its wall. A guest who is not stay at the hotel can not access to this area. So privacy. Bubbles and Bonbons upon arrival so privilege luxury. Welcome drink at Capella is not ordinary same as the others. Capella Sparkling Wine is an answer for Capella guest. They will make them “Beyond Expectation”. Riverfront Premier Room for my stay. So impressed. Stunning Panoramic View of Chao Phraya River from floor to ceiling directly facing which were unforgettable. Room style is a residentially with a private balcony. Spacious walk-in wardrobe. Generous marble bathroom. Bespoke toiletries such as Marvis toothpaste etc. Complimentary non-alcoholic mini- bar. Acqua Panna Natural Mineral Drink. Tranquility Calm and Relax feels home once you step inside. In the same way feels luxury in details that were extraordinary experiences. The resort activities were a great for a guest . Especially Cin Cin Hour i would said that “Do not miss”. Breakfast near the river so memorable with premium quality choice of variety food. Japanese style a la carte food must try it. Shibuya Toast must order. I would highly recommend everyone should stay here. You will not be disappointed. One night i would say it is not enough. All outlets at Capella you should try. Stella, Côte, Phra Nakorn, Tea Lounge. All were great in own style. A moment experiences that become lifelong memories which could not happens without Capella Staff. All Capella Staff were Top-Noted hospitality services. Special mentioned staff: K.Joy who is my best No.1 service excellence in highest levels of hospitality, K.Nisa Stella, K.Pony, K. Oat Pool. K.Art Côte. Especially K.John Blanco who is always took care and greeted closely with guest with friendly warm welcome smile. A moment when check out, Some hotel after check out will let guest leave without great experiences and memorable but at Capella not like that. K. Pony who is a person who check out for my stay and fond farewell and also my art hotel tour. So excellence in hospitality services. That was unforgettable experiences. She escort us to the pier to leave to hotel as last fond farewell. I think this process it is not necessary to do but not in Capella Bangkok. Truly Ultra Luxury Hotel. "
"After its opening last year, I always had an eyes on staying here. Finally I had a chance to stay at Capella Bangkok. I would say staycation more than 24 hours here was beyond my expectation. Hotel facilities and design were good however what made this place so special were attentive staffs. From culturist/check in staffs who can literally remember our names. Our favorite staffs were at pool as they could really remember our names the other days as I believed there were so many guests visiting the pool. Cote was the best and became my top 3 favorite in Bangkok. Staffs were brilliant as well. The only down side, but not so disturbing, was the misspelling of my name on welcoming letter, as I believed Thai name may be quite difficult sometimes. The room was spacious and very well equipped. Balcony really made for such chilled out, even in this super hot weather. Writing this long, I would say I highly recommended this hotel for anyone's stay or staycation in Bangkok. "

"The location of the hotel is a bit off, the taxi took a while to find the entrance. After checking in, the hotel gave a mobile phone that could make international calls and contact the housekeeper for free. The waiter in the room changes flowers, fruits and afternoon snacks every day. We chose this hotel for the infinity pool on the top floor, but the top floor is a bit small, and it feels that the hotel's other non-suite pools can be more beautiful. The room was very large. We checked into two different room types, both of which felt the lack of sunlight in the room, and some of the sockets in the newly opened hotel were broken. Remember to enjoy the suite's all-day breakfast and afternoon tea after check-in, which is not bad. We moved from Waldorf to this hotel, the price is similar but can clearly distinguish the difference between international star hotel and internet celebrity hotel. Stayed here for two nights and was not as comfortable as Waldorf. Overall the service is good, but the room stay experience is average."
"The only drawback is that before taking out, I took away the toiletry bag in the bathroom, which contained toothbrushes / hairbrushes and other supplies. He even had to charge for it! Fortunately, I have never returned it. I don't think these supplies are expected to be used and free of charge? The rent of this room is not affordable!"
"The hotel is awesome. We booked a suite. It is recommended to book a suite for more than three days, and a butler Mac is at your service. It is very considerate. The room is very comfortable and feels like home! Next time I will go to the suite!"

"Can be understood as a domestic hotel chain with a pool. You can check in after 14 o'clock, you can check your luggage and play until you come back at night before you get your room card. The rooms are very new, no toothbrush, no socket on the bedside, can not smoke, there is a small window as if there is no, the hotel has a battery car to the intersection, convenient for bts and taxi. As long as it is not in the rainy season, there are several large trash cans and rats on this road. There are several hotels around four hundred. This is a good choice. There is no time to go to the pool. The front desk speaks well, smiles well, and simple oral communication. Does the water from the shower smell like disinfectant? But the skin was fine for two days. It is not easy to disperse the room without some windows. It's low season and it's quite quiet at night. Booking in advance with a coupon in the early 300s, I feel that I can accept that I want to continue to live, and the result is nearly double the price. . . Because I always go back to bed at midnight to go out and feel that it doesn't matter. The taxis here don't like to beat the meter, they all bargain on their own!"
"The location of the hotel is very good, next to the famous Nana Night Market! And the light rail ride is an eight-minute walk away, making travel very convenient! The hotels are non-smoking rooms, so those who have a smoking habit can only smoke in the outdoor lobby and rooftop outdoor swimming pool! Otherwise, there will be a fine. The hotel can help call a taxi to the airport without extra charge and the price is reasonable. The rooms are new, and the hygiene is good, with welcome drinks! Not bad!"
"The environment is really good. I came here to travel by myself. Nana snake beauty is nearby. I need a deposit of 1,000. There is a swimming pool on the top of the building. The price is good. I need to communicate in English. girlfriend. Come on! ✌🤣"

"Breakfast was ordered and a Chinese newspaper was returned. The taste is very good, and the fruit is very well made. The room was impeccable, the floor of the Chao Phraya River room overlooked the river, and it was so beautiful. The butler service is super intimate, always delivering things to the room, refilling fruit coffee and bath products. I didn't see him in a hurry when I left, or I really wanted to thank him in person. The front desk service was also very good. I helped to make an appointment for hand care and polished my nails very shiny. The service spirit of the young lady who was doing hand protection was so touching that she cried, and kneeled on the ground to change my shoes to break me. Many employees at 9 o'clock can remember the guests' names, which is very warm. I think Bangkok Culture Oriental is the hotel with the best service. Although the price is not cheap, the service and the room hardware facilities are definitely worth the money! !! !!"
"I have stayed in several Mandarin Oriental hotels, all of which are first-rate. I look forward to Bangkok Mandarin Oriental very much, because the charge is generally 2-3 times. Most parts of the hotel are being renovated, so booking through trip. Com is obviously cheap, the staff service is really good, there will be a housekeeper to open the door for you! Western food and afternoon tea are of a high standard, breakfast is super standard, and Thai food is average. There is also a free river tour, great! The room was luxurious but not practical, with river view but no bathtub, sorry for this room rate. The restaurant and SPA charges are generally at the level of a 5-star hotel, which is reasonable. The high room rate seems to divert guests (do n’t come if you are too expensive). What you see is the place where rich people in and out of Thailand are full of historical heritage and spend money. Come and see for yourself if it's worth the money!"
"A hotel worth experiencing. This time I booked a Mandarin room really superb. The room is big and has a great balcony to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The service staff can remember my name and give assistance. I thought it was only fans of mo. Free Wi-Fi and special decorations are available for ordering. Unexpectedly, free champagne, cakes, fruits and snacks are also provided this time. There is also free wifi, but you must have fans if mo members. Probably because we ate in a French restaurant with two Michelin stars at noon. The details of the service are really impeccable. The guest rooms are quite luxurious and novel. It may not be long after the renovation. The accessories and mineral water are very environmentally friendly, and they do their best to the global environment."

"The location is slightly different, but the hotel has a private dock to send customers to all major attractions to punch cards, overall it is convenient, after all, Bangkok taxis are also cheaper, can not catch up with the back of the boat can also call back to the hotel. This hotel is a more suitable hotel for a relaxing holiday in Bangkok. It was also because of the hot search that a certain actress had the same hotel. What makes me feel better is the hotel's butler service, which is more humane and caring. A small partner who goes to Bangkok can go to live for a day or two. It is very suitable for you to take pictures and punch cards."
"Highlight is the check-in breakfast are free to offer if you were arrived earlier than 10am in the morning, or maybe it is just fit to current covid situation. Overall experience are excellent, very good for hotel enthusiasts, Spa was closed due to the outbreak serious situation in Thailand, the best thing is there wasn’t many ppl in the hotel, feels like you own everything as you stay at home. Food are quite ok. Easy to see that the owner is very good at decoration. A lot of painting and antique things full filled in the hotel. So it is good for photography. "
"Bill Bensley designed a paradise on earth. The hotel is really great. There is a fight between the service and the security. Meal costs are relatively cheap. The hotel also has a boat trip on the Chao Phraya River that can take you to an attraction. The entire hotel style is French colonial. It incorporates many photos of local sculptures and so on. This is a place worth going to. Every scene has a surprise."

The climate of Bangkok can largely be grouped into these 3 seasons; summer, Wet and Cool. Regardless of whatever timing you are there, you can always wear summer clothing with a light jacket. November to January is the Cool season and is the best time to visit Bangkok. Loy Krathong (lantern festival), Christmas and other international holidays also occur during this period and that is why the air tickets and hotel rates are much higher. Come February to April is summer where it is really hot and not very suitable for outdoor activities. You have to bring along your sunscreen to avoid getting burnt. May to October is the Wet season with the occasional torrential rain and do be prepared for it.
