A beautiful property literally a few steps from the station, yet once you step inside you feel a sense of calm and luxury due to the beautiful surroundings and very hospitable staff, from the bellmen, to the front desk, to the housekeeping and the restaurant staff. Our small room with a queen bed in the 6th floor and overlooked the station exterior and park. It was very clean and well appointed. Only the desk looked a bit worn, but certainly a minor point. Comfy beds and pillows. Coffee machine, tea machine, and we loved the Aqua di Parma toiletries with lovely scents. The buffet breakfast was excellent where again, service was very good. I enjoyed the spa services, including the steam room and salt room. Robes and slippers provided and the facilities were complimentary, including the gym and pool. The spa/gym were sparkling and high-end. To top it off, there was a very convenient complimentary hotel shuttle to take you to the sightseeing area of the Duomo and La Scala, and famous shopping area. We felt pampered during our stay!! Highly recommend.

We selected the hotel for its reputation as a flagship, luxury property within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. We booked a 3 night stay at the beginning of a 3 week trip through Italy,. The hotel has a majestic presence in a wonderful, central Milan location. The common areas of the hotel have magnificent architectural details and are beautifully appointed. The staff is universally professional and well-trained. We were pleasantly greeted upon checking in and assigned a room that we were looking forward to after traveling close to 24 hours end-to-end from our home in California. The room was badly worn and very disappointing. The leather on the exterior of the door was literally peeling off. Inside; the leather headboard was also in horrible condition; the leather desk chair had holes in it and showed considerable wear; the leather-covered drawers were worn through and peeling; and the long wood laminate counter was badly chipped. The room should have been renovated years ago, and certainly had no place being in a 5-star, luxury hotel. We were exhausted from our long journey, otherwise we would have requested a change in rooms. We unpacked and prepared to refresh with a shower when we realized that the temperature control for the shower was not functioning. We called the front desk and they promptly sent up a tech. He worked on it and then summoned another associate. Neither could fix it. We called the front desk again, and they said that they’d move us to another room within 10-15 minutes. We packed up everything and waited. About an hour passed and I went down to the front desk to personally discuss the matter and find out why we had not been moved. The desk clerk was very kind, and stated that they were still working on finding us another room. He stated that the hotel is very aware of the condition of the rooms, but doesn’t want to close off any rooms for renovation when the hotel is busy during prime season. He assured me that the new room would be ready soon and that they would be moving us to a “much larger” one. Finally, after waiting about 2 hours, we were moved to our new room. Again, the leather on the door was badly peeling and should have been replaced. The room was not substantially larger, and seemed roughly the same size as the first one. Overall, it was badly worn, the carpet had stains in it, and the bathroom had mildew in the grout around the shower/tub. The bathroom felt dirty. Upon checking out, the desk manager asked me how our stay was before realizing that she recognized our name. She told me that our situation had come up in a staff meeting and that the hotel wanted to try and make things right by offering to credit our Bonvoy account for one of the three nights of our stay. While this gesture was appreciated, the experience at the hotel was extremely disappointing. Aside from its beautiful common areas and polite, attentive staff, the guest rooms are in deplorable condition and have

Stayed there for 1 night, the location is ideal as it's just across the train station. However, there are a lot of sketchy people hanging outside the hotel area. So just be careful.
Tv was great as it has Netflix and YouTube. AC is also very strong.
Walls are very thin as you can hear people talking along the walkway and noises outside.
Staff at the counter during check-in was very friendly, even during my check-out. There isn't toothbrush or any utensils in the room, do take note.

Perfect location for lots of food eateries below! Room very spacious actually can open two huge luggages and near the train station and car rental companies! Stayed for 3 nights and even to cab to duomo an average rate of 10-12euros

Came to Italy for a business trip of 2 months. I've brought my bikes over to the hotel, usually kept them inside my car, one night I had to make room in my car, so I chained them on a metal rod & removed the front wheel, and left them in the hotel's underground parking lot. 11:30pm -> bikes are there. 11:30am the next day -> no sign of them. Shocked and frankly sad, I tried my luck at the reception, where I received a ”It is what it is” kind of response, which honestly I get. With my riding plan ruined I went to my room, ~15 minutes later I get a call to my room ”We've f o u n d your bikes”, (Awesome! but wait a minute, what does it.. mean?), went to the lobby, I asked the same guy at the reception ”Hey what's up?” and he responded ”I have no idea, but wait a few minutes”. After a few minutes a manager comes out and trying to explain that ”italy's streets are dangerous and I should be careful with my bikes” etc. etc., which I don't get, until I just ask ”Do you have my bikes?” - ”Yes.” - ”Did YOU take my bikes?” - ”Yes - to protect you” - ”in order to not get stolen by a thief that will enter your parking lot, you broke a heavy metal chain and stole my one-cycle-bike?” She then switched to: ”Well we didn't know who was the owner” What. ”The bikes are clearly someone's in a HOTEL TIED WITH A CHAIN”. Anyways, it was clear an employee tried to steal them. (But she thought it's a better way to handle it by presenting that it's a ”policy” to break customers property where it's supposed to be???) I received: - NO APOLOGY. - A ruined lock-chain that I bought at the same week. - A smashed wheel cover (like someone tried to smack it with a door to fit it somewhere. Really left a sour taste, definitely will notify my workplace & co-workers (that regularly book in this area) to avoid this hotel. The barista guys are really nice & breakfast is adequate+

There are two bus stops available to Milan or Bergamo virtually adjacent to the hotel as-well-as Uber and taxis on si I've given 4/5 as the sheets smelt damp (as if the room had been left a long time) and there was a yellow stain on one towel and the toothbrush cup was cracked. Additionally, though soaps and accessories were mostly provided, a toothbrush was missing from the choices, which I actually needed. The breakfast was good and the staff were professional, so I think 4.3/5 is fair given the location and my experience

This was my first stay at this hotel, although I have visited Star Hotels in other cities. This hotel was lovely. Just steps (but far enough away from the congestion) from Milano Centrale. Large and comfortable room. A good selection for breakfast. Professional and friendly staff. A nice patio area, perfect for enjoying a drink when the weather is nice, as it was during my visit.. An eco-friendly hotel. This is where I'll stay the next time I'm in Milan.

Great location, close to restaurants and other shops and directly across from the central train station. Close to the metro and the Duomo is a quick ride or a 15 euro taxi. This hotel is certified green and has a beautiful interior with a lovely patio area. The hotel restaurant was great and the staff were helpful and kind. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfy. If all the star properties are like this I will definitely be seeking them out.
