"Impeccably chic elegance is the formula for this luxurious boutique hotel. The exterior of the renovated building is like a graceful grey townhouse. Classically exquisite furniture, furnishings and works of art communicate a stylish refinement throughout the interior. The bedrooms are spacious, well-equipped, comfortable, with free WiFi, and with an in-room safe. The library, and the delightful patio/garden, are oases of tranquility. Service is exceptional . . . welcoming, responsive and unobtrusive. Good buffet breakfast, and evening bar for pre-dinner drinks."
"From the moment you walk in, you can see that this is not a standard hotel. The admosphere, everything is so good. The hotel exudes a traditional historical admosphere. The lounge has a bookcase as big as the size of the wall. So beautiful. The rooms are big and very comfortable. To be hounest, I think this is the best and most exceptional hotel in Salta. Very friendly staff too! The location is very good, on walkable distance to city center. My husband and I loved to be in the hotel. Next time Salta we will come back for sure. "
"I am so pleased we booked this hotel. It was more like being invited into someone's home. There is a large library where you can peruse the large collection of books and sit and read in comfort. Also a lovely internal patio. The whole hotel has been decorated with great style while preserving the many original features. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Legado Mítico."

"We spent 5 night in the Kkala in March 2020. Three nights we were in the superb two story suite, and two in a deluxe room. Both were extremely comfortable with all necessary amenities and good air conditioning. The entire hotel is furnished and decorated with a combination of Andean folk art and modern whimsy. The interior design of this hotel really appears to be a labor of love; looking around there was always a new, beautiful visual discovery. The hotel is in a lovely residential neighborhood about a 20-25 minute walk to the center; however taxis are readily available for those who do not wish to walk. There is is a lovely swimming pool and inviting public areas both inside and outside. I don't think the pictures on the website quite do the hotel justice. The staff was extremely helpful in many ways: helping us find restaurants, museums, markets, allowing us to change reservations because of transport issues. They were also most accommodating when we wanted to eat a snack in the evening at the hotel because we were too tired to go out for dinner. Can't wait to return when the world can travel again."
"If you prefer the sound of birds to the drone of traffic and still want to be within a few minutes walking of everything you will want to do in the city, then Kkala is the location for you. We loved this little piece of light-filled heaven in a tree-filled neighbourhood. The owner has an artist's eye and has collected unique and often whimsical pieces from all over the world to mix with those of local artisans so that every moment, whether in your room or in the common spaces is an absolute pleasure. The pool and gardens, with city & mountain views, coupled with your favorite drink on ice, is a great respite from the city heat & noise. Friendly, professional staff, a delicious breakfast to linger over and a spacious room with extremely comfy bed and strong shower complete the laid-back luxury. Do not hesitate to book this hotel if you are lucky enough to find availability."
"Walking in you feel like your in someone’s living room. The lobby is a cornucopia of mismatched comfortable furniture and furnishings. You are greeted at the front door by the staff and checked in. Each room in the hotel is different and the locations to some are a bit adventurous. The rooms are comfortable with queen beds and a bit of quirky furniture. There is a pool and several sunning decks. Breakfast is very good with eggs to order. The staff are very friendly and treat you like family. The hotel is not in the city center so cab rides are needed but cabs are very inexpensive. The area around the hotel and city center are very safe and people are helpful and kind. This was a very fun experience. "

"We had our hotel booked through our travel agent in Australia, stayed 3 nights while visiting the mountains around Salta. First impression was – so much bare concrete, very small reception area and bland bar area. Not a place to sit and have an relaxing evening. Had lunch on our first stay there, loved the old décor but not so much the food, the hamburger and chips were particularly greasy. The breakfast was adequate. Although the location is very central, the parking area to drop off passengers from small buses after tours is very difficult with so much traffic in the area. The room was large but with so much wasted space. The animal skin chairs were very uncomfortable. The low bench along the wall was wasted, not much use. The bathroom could do with some hanging rails or hooks and maybe a cupboard to put the toilettes in. As someone else mentioned, the elevator is a safety hazard. I was surprised that it was still allowed to be used, maybe in Argentina but certainly not in our country. On the plus side, we found the staff very friendly and helpful."
"Pros: - Good location within walking distance of everything - Fairly quiet even though in city centre - Rooftop lounge and (heated) pool - Good black out drapes - Big room with king size bed (room 101) - Nice staff and all seemed to speak English - Can use the water jug in the gym to fill your water bottles for the day - Our room was ready early which was nice Cons: - The room was very dark, they need brighter lights in the room and bathroom - It would be nice if they had more places to hang things in the bathroom, since it's such a big room and bathroom would be nice to have some hooks - The elevators are a safety hazard as they never open level with the floors and could easily lead to tripping. The elevators are also very slow and the stairwells have no lights, so difficult to use them as an alternate. The overall cleanliness was adequate, not great. The breakfast is fine. If you ask, you can get eggs and bacon (bacon is very salty though). Otherwise, a typical buffet selection of breads, yogurt, cereal, cheese, ham, and fruit."
"We stayed here for 4 nights. Our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. It was clean and well equipped with a TV, fridge, safe, aircon, and plenty of storage. The bathroom was big with a bath and shower. The WiFi worked well. The staff were helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a good range of food. The hotel is in a good location close to the centre of Salta with lots of restaurants, shops and tourist attractions close by. It has a modern wing which has a lot of concrete and an old colonial style wing. We were especially happy with the receptionist who gave us a late checkout, it made life so much easier for us before our flight to our next destination."

"This modern hotel is in central Salta. Foyer is well presented and the staff can speak adequate English. It has a small cafe where you can have a meal within a limited menu. Quality is fine. Bag storage is in a locked room but no tagging is done. On the first floor is the breakfast area. The selection is fine and the usual non milk added scrambled eggs are provided. You can ask for a custom egg style. Staff are pleasant. The bedroom is good and clean but with a desk area provided , you have to disconnect the TV to access the PowerPoint. Bathroom is clean but has the stupid bath/shower combination. This is dangerous if you are elderly..as you can fall. This is an issue common to many hotels. The bathroom also had a bidet..love this feature. Now, room selection. Do not get a room facing any street.. especially Belgrano Ave.. it can be noisy. Ask for a room facing the back. Bang for buck is very high at time of writing for Oz travellers. Wifi is good. There is no assistance for booking tours at this hotel"
"Hotel is well appointed and in a good location. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Bed is good. Breakfast is nice with many choices. We had a room at the front of the hotel which fronted Mayo road. Wow, extremely noisy. No in room coffee making facility or free water. Staff very helpful "
"I booked 2 rooms by mistake the same night I have a night trip at 1 am (so different date but same night, that's why I was mistaken). I realized after 2 minutes, so I kindly asked to switch my reservation to another night. Even thought they had availability, senor Guillermo said no, because reservation was non changeable, even after a few minutes. I see he is not wrong in a way, but we are customers, not enemies, and it was easy to satisfy our request, with no prejudice for anyone. This is certainly not an acceptable attitude towards customers, so be careful you don't need any courtesy or assistance."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Real in Salta, ask for a room with a view of the San Bernardo mountain. Pro: good breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, clean room. Above all the staff was approachable, friendly and very helpful. Con: the only negative thing I can think of is that there was mould around the air conditioning. Other than that the stay was perfect!"
"I have been visiting this hotel several times in last years due work in Salta, is nice hotel, big and confortable rooms, maybe little old furniture but with good maintenance. Breakfast is perfect has a nice indor swimmingpool. The only terrible thing for actual days is wifi service, never solve the problem, if you want to make a video call to your home or watch a movie thru internet forget it completely impossible, I have to use all my cell phone data to stay connected to the world. I claim several time every time I visit the hotel but I think it doesnt care for manager. So if you need to stay connected choose other hotel. "
"Just what we wanted, this hotel is nicely situated . Restaurant was good with plenty to chose from . The staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are spacious and in good decorative order. We had a shower and a bath with built in jacuzzi , don’t now if that’s standard but was great for a soak and relaxation. All in all thumbs up from me."

"We stayed at the Hotel Salta in the beginning and end of our trip to the region; the first room we had was smaller than the second, most notably that the bathroom was so small that the door banged into the toilet and the shower curtain stuck to you while showering. The second room had a much larger bathroom and shower. Both rooms were nicely appointed and a decent size; it is a full service hotel including front desk/reception, elevators, laundry, etc. There is also secure parking so you don't have to rely on street parking. The hotel is centrally located in Salta to the market, churches, etc. The breakfast was the best of our entire trip - a whole table of breads, mezzalunas, rolls, etc with jams, dulce de leche and butter. Cheese, ham and prosciutto were also offered along with scrambled eggs. Coffee, hot water and hot milk as well as a couple of kinds of juices were available. Fruits and yogurts round out the selection. If we had only stayed once, then I would have rated the hotel as average, but the second room combined with the breakfast buffet earns the Hotel Salta a "very good" rating."
"This hotel is located on the corner of main square, location is perfect for tourism. It was built in 1940s and remains as such with few new things such as electronic locks and safety boxes in rooms.Charming. Beds are comfortable, service was good. Room I had was not very spacious but hotel was built long time ago, this is not negative remark. Bathroom was fully equipped however a box of Kleenex tissues would be a plus. Breakfast was served from 6:00 a.m. for early birds till 10:00 for those who wanted to sleep longer. Restaurant offers menu typical for Argentina, i.e. Milanesa etc. Empanadas were good but had better elsewhere. Taxi stand by the hotel's door was very convenient. There is swimming pool and gym, although I did not use them. Will stay there if visiting Salta again."
"This is a charming hotel with character, charm and antique decor. This was a perfect location for exploring the city. Our room was excellent. We stayed twice....once on our way north to Humawauca and again on the way back. We chose to upgrade to an executive double from the previous room that was standard double. The room and washroom were larger for a small extra fee. Both rooms, beds, pillows were comfortable, clean and quiet. We were pleased with the secure parking on site. Staff were professional and friendly. "
