Great breakfast! I love it!
And first wifi. I want to stay again.

Recently visited this hotel it is definitely not 4 star. Upon arrival we were told they did not have our booking and then eventually found us a room. The room was awful, had a sheet on the bed and a plain duvet in the wardrobe with no cover on. The extractor fan did not work which caused awful condensation, resulting in mould on the wallsin the bedroom. The paint was also peeling from the walls and had dirt running down them. The premium tv had about 8 channels of which none were English half had no signal. The shower leaked into the bedroom which caused the floor to lift. The main door had a hinge falling off. The safe was not fixed and could be carried with one hand. Breakfast was in the hotel the first morning after that we were told to go to another hotel over the road in the rain. Gym was closed. The WiFi was very poor only 2mbps. Would definitely not rate this as a 4 star more a 1 star.

Reviews From Real Travelers
I had booked a single room for 2 nights with last minute.com. When I arrived they could not find it. Ok, not the hotel fault if the provider did not send it. But the receptionist was very rude. She kept saying ”you have to pay or you cannot have the room”. I tried to explain that I had already paid and we should try to solve the issue but she only seem interested in getting rid of me. Luckily I was able to get quickly in touch with last minute, they contacted their provider that re-sent the reservation with the payment. I went back to the front desk and told them that they should receive shortly my reservation but once again she kept telling me ”you have no reservation”. I calmly explained that it would probably take a couple of minutes. I sat down and 2' later the other girl at the reception (definitely more accomodating but she clearly was not the one in charge...). brought me the room key and apologized. The rudness was unacceptable as it wasn't either mine or their fault but being a host they should know how to treat customers who keep their business running. The hotel itself is ok, old but well kept and in a convenient location. The room was clean, vert big shower, comfy beds. No complaints there.

It was amazing thank you! We were welcomed by such a sweet lady at the reception. She was so helpful and made us feel at home right away. The room was perfect. Well cleaned, the bed was amazing and we dined a the rooftop. What a great experience. Thank you, we will be back soon.

I have visited many countries, and in hotels of all kinds, and at some point I have had to ask for ”late checkout” or what is the same ”late checkout” because my flight back home leaves very late that day.
In this case I paid almost €600 for practically 2 nights, it was 3 nights, but the first night I arrived at the airport at 2 in the morning, that is, practically 2 nights, when in Albania hotels are very cheap, but I preferred to grab a Known chain just in case, AND WHEN I ASKED FOR A LATE CHECKOUT OF 2h because my flight left at 18:50 in the afternoon, THEY TOLD ME NOOOO, when the hotel was newly opened and was practically empty!!!!!!!! I THINK IT WAS VERY VERY BAD, I HAD TO BE WALKING AROUND TIRANA AND EAT SUPER LATE, TO BE ABLE TO MAKE TIME UNTIL 4:00 PM when I went to the airport. I THINK I RECOMMEND THE HOTEL? NO!!!!, I THINK OF GOING BACK??? NO!!!!, not only because of this, but because it is far from the center, the hotel's Terra restaurant is very expensive, and look, almost nothing surprises me, but the difference in prices compared to the rest of the city surprised me very much.
We ordered some mini Iberian pork chops and an Angus rib and 2 waters to eat, and they charged us €135, when in the ERA restaurant, which is 50 meters from the hotel, TripAdvisor recommends it, and it cost us an exquisite risotto, and 2 Angus T-bone steaks of 1,200 grams with a garnish of mushrooms and vegetables, plus bread, plus 2 waters, plus a Pepsi max, EYE €53, crazy!!!! And everything was very good, so the prices of the hotel are not justified.
Is the hotel nice? Yes!!!, is it comfortable??? Yes!!!, it is practically new, it was opened recently, but that does not give the right to be charged 5 times more for eating in its facilities, it is 1 and a half km or more from Skanderbeg square and everything there is What to visit in the capital of Albania.
Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future. The rooms are very spacious with a very comfortable bed and powerful shower. The staff are extremely helpful and very polite. We'd recommend upgrading to an executive room for full use of the exec lounge for free food, soft drinks, and alcohol between 5.30 & 8.30pm.

I needed to get a hotel in Tirana at very short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. I walked into the Plaza without a prior reservation. The front desk person, Sara, was extremely helpful. When she heard of the reason for our stay, she went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel itself is quite great, the best in Albania by far. Large rooms, stylish architecture and design, with all the amenities you need. Very helpful staff. The location is also great, right next to the main city square, and next door to a shopping center and a pedestrian area full of restaurants and cafes. The hotel has also free parking in the basement so you can reach your car without stepping outside if you don't want to use the valet service. A week later, I returned to Tirana for a second stay and I didn't even bother to consider other hotels, went straight to the Plaza. Sara happened to be working again at the front desk and yet again she made sure to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. The Plaza is not the cheapest hotel and could be seen as pricy by Albanian standards. But in terms of value, it's an extremely good deal. And you get the level of service you would expect from a 5* hotel. A lot of hotels in Albania have the right amenities but not the polished service or the seamless experience that you find at the Plaza.

The room was spacious offering beautiful view of Tirana & Skanderbeg sqaure. Higher floors offer better view. Service from reception to concierge was fantastic. The breakfast spread is also comprehensive. Try their lounge on the 23rd floor called ” The View”. It offers a fantastic view of Tirana by night. Being located at the downtown area, it offers easy facilities like rate exchanges, water & food restaurants, supermarkets & groceries in very close proximity. Worth staying in this lovely hotel & a special mention of Ergis for a warm welcome.

We spent 3 nights here in a room on the third floor. There are no lifts but this was not a problem for us. We liked the modern feel of our room and the bathroom was a decent size. The location was great for exploring Tirana on foot and close to the local buses too. It felt like the hotel was in a party neighbourhood as there was loud music playing each night when we were there, which we liked. There are lots of nearby bars and restaurants. For breakfast, we had a choice from a menu, which was handy as you could pick what you wanted without excess food wastage. The highlight were the staff. All the reception staff spoke exceptionally good English and were extremely helpful. The hotel manager, Grinda, was super helpful. We would stay here again.

This hotel was temporarily replaced, although the price is higher, but the location, service, room, breakfast, etc. are very good! Especially the three staff at the front desk are very patient to meet all our requirements 👍
The only thing is that the hotel does not have an elevator. Although there are four floors, it is still a bit troublesome to drag the tired body up and down every day. Fortunately, the service staff help with the luggage, very enthusiastic ❤️
In short, this hotel is very recommended, will go live next time!

hotel review me and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights. the hotel has a modern and good looking aesthetic while at a pretty central location. the receptionist was nice however we encountered some issues while staying. photos and details below: the good: - great central location - clean hotel and rooms - polite personal - breakfast was good, but you should go earlier, if you arrive one hour before closing you might not have options of food - really nice heating system, you could’ve set up different temperatures in the bathroom and in the room the bad: - the sink kept leaking even after an improvised fix by someone from the hotel the smell in the bathroom was sometimes canalish (room 602 in case the hotel wants to fix it) - the swimming pool was dirty from day 2 and they did not change the water - very noisy outside the hotel, no sound isolating windows - the cleaning lady took our soap every day, without replacing it (it was annoying to ask for a new one every time) - the king bed was actually a 2 normal beds united, you could easily fall between the mattresses overall a good experience but won’t come back due to the problems mentioned below. 3/5
