"My husband and I stayed at the Amansara just last weekend for a short staycay during the Covid-19 period (oh they take extra precautions at the property, taking temperatures of guests twice a day, offering masks and hand sanitizers at all times) when Siem Reap has hardly any tourists. It was our first Aman stay and WOW, we are now looking forward to checking out their other properties worldwide. A masterpiece of Khmer architecture, I fell in love with the courtyards upon checking in, the tranquil environment in the heart of Siem Reap will bring your restful soul peace and serenity despite the hustle and bustle around. Sadly they were running on low occupancy (just 1 other guest during our stay) so we got upgraded to a pool suite and offered a super late check-out. The spa was closed but we utilised the gym a couple of times, I must say it's well equipped, and one of the best gyms I've ever been to with state of the art machines. Food was AMAZING, go for their Khmer fare, it varies daily and never disappoints. I literally ate the same dishes everyday when I was there, Chef Daniel was superb, he took care of my food allergies & even shared the rice noodle and porridge recipes with us. For some meals we ordered room service and we were impressed with how the different courses were served just like in the restaurant, first they brought the appetizers, 15 mins later the main dishes came, lastly the dessert. I was picked up by an old school Mercedes Benz from the Sofitel where I was residing at prior, the ride was short but it added to the experience. The property actually offers a range of activities- they change it on a monthly basis depending on season and weather, unfortunately most were suspended during our stay due to Covid so we only managed a short tour of Angkor Wat and some of the surrounding temples, which was good enough for us. The most memorable was how they managed to take my spectacles to an optician to get it fixed over an hour and the effort made by Bunsak, their front desk manager who managed to find us a driver at the very last minute when we departed as our personal driver backed out. These little touches added to our Aman experience, yes it comes with a price but it's definitely worth it for the impeccable service rendered by each and everyone at the Amansara. I miss my home already, thank you Astrid, Daniel, Bunsak, Lohn, Bunheouom, Rata, Sokhy, and Sri Aun for your hospitality and care. Hope our paths will cross again soon! Best wishes, Bong Alison & Bong Steven from Suite 14 (27-29 March)"
"We recently had a very quick two night stay at Amansara. It is a stunningly simple property. As with all of our other Aman stays, the service was great. With your room you have a dedicated guide and driver for your entire stay for excursions to Angkor Wat and the other temples. Our guide ‘Cun’ provided great history and was a fabulous photographer. In fact, I just let him keep my iphone most of the time and he would get the best angles and lighting. I also appreciated that despite it being his backyard that he was showing us, he was still in awe of the temples. Even for a quick trip into Siem Reap, the driver waits for you, regardless of how long you want to explore. Amansara also makes every drive fun – from the vintage Mercedes that once belonged to the king, to jeeps and beautiful remorques. The restaurant is lovely and has a menu that changes nightly. Both nights we ate the Khmer food and it was fantastic. Usually I notifiy hotels ahead of our stay that my husband is gluten free, however this time I forgot. To our surprise, when we sat down to our first meal they greeted us already knowing it, apparently from a profile of preferences they share among Aman properties.. Chhunny, Sarak and Lonh were so pleasant and attentive. During our last meal I asked Lonh what one of the components of my dish was – he answered and asked if I would like the recipe. When I jumped at the offer he asked if there were any other recipes that I would like as well. He knew we were leaving within an hour and before our departure he had the executive chef, Daniel Horn, prepare all of the recipes! In addition to the temple tours we did an evening sunset cruise on Tonal Sap. It was a great evening that allowed us to see a fascinating floating village, learn about the importance of the lake to the region and also have a romantic time watching the sunset. Chhunny did a great job making sure we were comfortable, our wine glasses were full and providing a nice assortment of appetizers. We really enjoyed our brief stay at Amansara."
"Not all Aman hotels are the same. This one is distinctive for its physical appeal and its brilliant management from Madame Astrid and her team. It is compact, based on a historic property, in a fabulous location, run by wonderful people from top to bottom, with delicious food, with every consideration thought of before you realise it. What a pleasure. Siem Riep is the city for seeing Ankor Wat and many other Khmer temples and ruins. All of the sight-seeing was handled with style and thought. Our picnic on a long day away was outstanding too - stylish and with such kind thought behind it. What a delight to have stayed there. Thank you everyone. One warning - if your friends tell you about a restaurant they really like in Siem Riep say thank you and ignore their kind advice. Eat at the Amansara as the food, both western and Khmer, is delicious there."

"The hotel is highly recommended on Ctrip. I booked this hotel with a try attitude, although the English level is a bit poor. I arrived at the hotel that night and was very attentive to pick up the ice water fruit ice towels. There was no good Chinese waiter at the front desk that night. The girl who took us into the room was called mao. I explained patiently the room facilities and free service items. The room also prepared supper for us in advance, super delicious sandwiches, mango juice. Although we were not very hungry, we were finished. Breakfast the next day, I met Ann who could speak Chinese. The order was smooth. My husband ate the favorite rice noodles and enjoyed it. I booked a spa when I went out. When I came back for a break in the afternoon, I encountered the best Smile in Chinese in the hotel. The communication was completely barrier-free. He ordered food at the hotel restaurant for dinner. He arrived on the scene for help, and he also cared about our requirements and inconvenience during the spa. He also accompanied us after dinner. Chatting and very considerate. And Sophea Rekky Deepool are all warm and cute, especially warm. Apart from the excellent service of the hotel, it is important to mention that the environment is beautiful and the room is clean. In this weather, there are no insects and mosquitoes in the room. Mosquito coils are also placed on the ground floor door. The service staff will take off their shoes when entering the room. It is really suitable Jie patients. In Siem Reap, people searched for a meal. I have to say that the hotel restaurant's meals are the most delicious, and the prices are not expensive. Fried rice, beef, and you can also try the special Amor fish. Breakfast is also very rich. If you have good English, you can check the menu. There are many advantages, let's experience it for yourself"
"Really nice hotel! Just after Ctrip placed the order, Ctrip staff called and said that the hotel provided a free shuttle service. We arrived in Siem Reap and waited for about two minutes before the driver arrived. They brought us ice towels, water and fruit as soon as they came up. A welcome drink was reserved for us in advance. The service is really great! The hotel is located near the DFS in Siem Reap. The hotel will help you to call tutu for free. I also dine in the hotel's restaurant at night, creamy pasta and its recommendations! The lamb chops are also delicious ~ My husband and I booked a room with a pool. Although the pool is not very large, it is enough to play with water! The bed was large and comfortable to sleep. It also offers free spa for two and free laundry service. Like a private housekeeper, the happy hour cocktail on the third floor is also delicious!"
"Because he is already in Cambodia, he took a walk to Siem Reap during this time. I have seen a lot of reviews before saying that this hotel's service is like Haidilao, so this special stay did not disappoint me. The hotel is exquisite and artistic in every corner. There are not many rooms, but there are two swimming pools, and guests have full private space. The hotel's standard price already includes round trip transfers, daily breakfast, minibar, laundry service, and 1 hour spa massage every day. High cost performance! ! ! After chatting with the hotel manager, I learned that they opened a new apartment with only seven rooms in the hotel. There is a one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartment. I will definitely come back and try again when I bring my family."

"I have searched through Xiaohongshu and Du Niang and decided to choose this one. The main reasons are: 1. I have been in the city for a long time and want to return to nature; 2. Angelina and Julie have said yes and have to go and see Look.    In the evening, the plane got off at more than 9 o'clock. The hotel has arranged a pick-up and drop-off. Ctrip was informed in advance that Ctrip would call the hotel to arrange a pick-up. Ctrip will continue to work hard and come on! The hotel pick-up staff is polite and handsome. The pick-up locomotive is tall and the hotel location is acceptable. After all, this idyllic style hotel cannot be near the scenic area and the city center, so the location is completely acceptable (mainly to the scenic area are toot Car, so it doesn't matter). I do n’t say much about the overall environment of the hotel, haha, look at the pictures! The hotel service staff is very nice and responsive! Breakfast and dinner were good, stayed for two days, very satisfied!"
"The hotel is located in the suburbs, about seven or eight kilometers away from the urban area. It is a bit far away, and the surrounding environment is not good, but it does not affect the beauty of the hotel at all. The boardwalk lights up in the evening, super beautiful! The yard is fragrant in the morning and evening, the frogs in the rice fields, the tree birds fly, and crabs, cows, and bicycles are also beautiful! The wooden rooms are cute and the interiors are simple and exquisite! The original style makes people physically and mentally comfortable! Breakfast is not much, more delicate, can also order! The bad thing is that there are a lot of earthworms running out on the road in the morning, a little scared, but it disappears when the sun gets hot!"
"The breakfast was very generous, there was a menu to order, the eggs were delicious and the porridge was delicious. The environment was really good. I couldn't say that it was comfortable. The paddy fields and wooden houses were integrated. Dinner by the pool, more than 200 per capita, good food"

"Nothing says a good time like a beautiful garden and room to go home to! We arrived at the AirBnb at 4 in the morning and Mr. Sombath, our host for our three-day stay, warmly welcomed us. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the rooms and the garden were more lovely in person. The room my sister and I stayed in was spacious- it came with a huge bed, television, snacks and bottled water, tea and coffee, a charming bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries, and a sitting area at the balcony right in front of the garden. They also offer their bikes free of use. The only thing I would recommend is bringing a mosquito repellent body spray as there are quite a lot of mosquitoes. It's a short walk or a tuktuk away from Pub Street where all the restaurants and souvenir shops are. We enjoyed exploring the streets and even stumbled upon a temple, Wat Preah Prohm Rath. We were also delighted that we caught the Water Festival so Pub Street and the riverside at night had a lively atmosphere, abound with locals and tourists. Mr. Sombath was kind and helpful. He was happy to help us arrange our itinerary and encouraged us to see the Aspara Dance and the Phare Cambodian Circus. Mr. Sombath booked both for us and they did not disappoint. He took good care of us- he even drove us to see the Circus for free. He also arranged for the tuktuk driver to drop us where we want to go. It was, overall, a wonderful stay! We'll definitely come back!"

"We visited this hotel in November and were absolutely satisfied. Our room was clean and well serviced, moreover quite big and had a direct exit to a nice swimming pool. It was a really good escape in hot days. Staff is very friendly and helpful, though sometimes lacks English skills. You can order extra services for reasonable price. The only minus is quite poor breakfast, but to be fair, you shouldn't expect something special for that price. So if you are a budget traveller probably this hotel is for you."
"The hotel features a lovely tropic garden, great for relaxing in the pool after a busy day visiting the temples of Angkor. The staff is wonderfully friendly and serviceminded. Our room was spacious, clean and airy, a terrific place to relax. The location outside the city center is good, as Angkor is a pretty busy town with traffic and load music. Moving around, to and from the airport and to the temples is easily handled by the hotel's own driver."
"I stayed her for two nights and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. My friend Channa, who works here, helped to organize transportation to Angkor Wat and other attractions. The price was reasonable. The accomodations were clean. Would recommend for single or couple traveling on a budget. Even though the hotel had a restaurant on site, we found that the chef was not available one night, so they were not open. There are many local restaurants nearby, so this was not a problem. Breakfast has only a few choices, but this is a budget hotel, and the meal was good. Would stay here again."

"This was a get together of life long friends who live in different parts of the world . We booked the whole resort with all 7 villas. Barang was very accommodating with our request and gave us nice discount too. We really had fun at the resort. Each villa is a 2 bedroom luxury house with living room and kitchen. Ample enough for a family of 5. And there is a common big kitchen too. The resort is situated in a village setting - nice village scenarios with lots of lotus ponds- water buffaloes . We went into the village and bought goat .. chicken .. and other stuff and brought into the resort and cooked according to our taste in the big kitchen. This was a five day stay and everyday Barang and his staff cleaned the villas, changed linens , etc. I must say Barang and his family was very accommodative with all of our request. Thank you to Barang!!!! Although the resort is in the village is very close to downtown-pub street, Angkor wat, floating village—- Which was very convenient for us— we did not have to spend lots of time in traffic. Some of my friends and me are very much looking forward to visit Siam Reap with family and stay at Barang’s place. -Roy-"
