800m from Railway station, which has direct links to Frankfurt. 200m from a large supermarket or there is a small shop opposite. 5 mins max walk to the main shops. Very friendly check in staff, and the room was clean and well maintained.  They only clean your room every 3 days, unless you specifically ask. Large safe in the room, and good heating/aircon. The breakfast cold buffet was OK, with take away bags to go. Great tea selection and food quality coffee. Dinner was very limited and very poor quality but cheap, or there are restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay again when on business.

We spent a night here as we were in the area and decided to stay a bit longer, yet didn't want to spend time in the city. Staff was very friendly and professional. Room was clean and the wing we stayed in has been modernized so that means new bathroom and furniture. Oddly they installed a green shag type carpet which seems like it would get dirty easily. Everything was clean and seemed that there was not so many other guests. We did make use of the Sauna, at the time there was only one open and with 4 guests it was a bit crowded in there area since everyone was trying to distance due to Covid. If you can get the area alone is super nice and relaxing. Breakfast was done well and had a nice selection for the size of hotel and number of guests which were around. Easily can have a nice breakfast there, with a nice selection of tea. We enjoyed the stay and the area and hotel was super quiet. There is no minibar but they did offer a self-service honour bar with drinks and snacks after 10pm, so you just help yourself and write down what was taken. Nice touch.

It was cheap and very good, I would like to stay at this hotel again, it takes less than 15 minutes to walk to the central station

We hadden hier een nachtje verbleven. Ondanks het hoogseizoen en weekend was het er rustig. Dat zal waarschijnlijk veranderen wanneer er weer conferenties zijn in congres centrum Siegerland vlakbij. We konden de wagen voor de deur kwijt. Moesten wel het nummerbord doorgeven. Het hotel, voorheen waarschijnlijk City Hotel (gezien de wifi), is een beetje gedateerd, met de het vele donkere hout en tapijt werk. Ook de ingebouwde wekker radio herinnert je aan een ander tijdperk. De badkamer leek wel al een make-over te hebben gehad. De kamer was ruim, zonder airco of ventilator, dus wel ‘s zomers aan de warme kant. Het ontbijt was ok en het personeel vriendelijk. We hadden een fijn verblijf.
