"This hotel was booked for an overnight stay after a long flight to Nairobi. We had a pre planned visit to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage early evening and so we checked in quite late. We were given a warm welcome by very friendly staff and shown to an amazing suite. It was very spacious and had a great view of the garden and the pool. We had mentioned to our travel company that this holiday had been booked to celebrate a special wedding anniversary and obviously this information had been passed on to House of Waine. Our suite was strewn with rose petals and the bed was beautifully decorated with over 40 red roses. There was also a very thoughtful gift of a memory book. We hadn’t been in the suite long when a complimentary bottle of bubbly arrived. We went down to eat our evening meal and they had set up a private table for us suitably decorated with hearts. We enjoyed a delicious romantic candlelit dinner. We slept like babies in the sumptuous giant sized bed and feeling refreshed enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the garden. The service here is spot on and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a flight to catch after breakfast to head off on safari. What a fantastic start to our holiday at House of Waine, certainly very memorable and it was just a shame we weren’t staying a bit longer. Many thanks!"
"We arrived from the US after long flights. We were met with champagne and very delightful staff members. This was not a surprise because we had read GREAT reviews of this hotel. We were taken to the Malaika Suite - the BIG Room - and it was magnificent. Sitting out on the back veranda of our suite, we had drinks and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Dinner was served in the dining room and it was terrific. The beef fillet and seared skirt steak were perfect (rare). We enjoyed the beautiful gardens all around the hotel. This is a very nice place to unwind. My only advice: large tips are expected"
"This was the first time we stayed at the House of Waine and would definitely return! Everyone was so kind and helpful, the rooms were very nice, including being equipped with usb ports for charging electronics after long flights, mini frig in room w/ complimentary snacks and juice. We stayed a couple of nights before our safari and then after the safari we had day rooms booked which were a blessing. House of Waine stored our hard sided luggage while on safari for 2 weeks. The food was also excellent. Beautiful, secure spot in Karen. Thank you House of Waine!"

"-its the place to be if you want to rest, service was on point and professional -it a good place for cocktail parties -the rooms are just perfect well vanish just amazing plus the place is so quiet full of peace -for the catering service what you need is what you get excellent - Not forgetting gym, pool, the gardens i just loved"
"I am sorry to give this hotel only two stars as the staff, particularly Faith the manager, were extremely attentive, kind and helpful. Inside the furniture is very old fashioned and dingy with touches of bling! There was no table to eat our meals and we had to eat our food on our laps. The swimming pool was half empty when we arrived (they'd known for 2 months when we were coming) and dangerous rusty metal hooks sat proud of the surrounding paving stones. There were no mosquito nets and the second night the room was not sprayed. There was no safe despite being told there was. No coffee/tea making facilities. Despite being the only guests our pre-arranged pick up from the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage (almost next door to the hotel) failed to arrive, and we were rescued from the car park by our previous hotel who rearranged the pickup. I hope this hotel improves as the staff are charming but at the moment it is not worth the money."

Market Road, Nairobi, Kenya
"Positive: Christ prepares freshly made-to-order Oh My delicious concoctions of juices and smoothies at breakfast. Christ gets Excellent excellent customer service rating from me. In general, hotel staffs are very nice and accommodating. Customer service is on point. The hotel is nicely decorated with many interesting sculptures. Security team is super helpful and tight. I accidentally kick-dial security and hung up, but they called me back within 2 seconds to check up on me. Eric is amazing and always make you feel super safe. Kaya Spa is great. Services are reasonably priced, great customer services, massages and coffee scrubs are so good, highly recommended. Look for Ann at the spa reception and she will make sure that you get the best spa experience. Neutral: breakfast is limited and has minimal variation. Got the essentials: egg station, bacon/sausage, pancake/crepe, some sort of vegetable, rice/beans, cold ham and turkey, bread station, juice station, and sweet station. Negative: Guest rooms are outdated. There is no separation between the bed and the bathroom, you can literally touch the tub while in bed. The minifridge is tiny, can’t even fit a small left over carry out box. Electricity is finicky. During my 3 weeks at the hotel, they lost power many times, I woke up to no AC and a room that smelled like mold and toilet. Water pressure is a headache. It’s almost impossible to have 1 proper shower where the water temperature stays bearable. Due to water pressure problems, the water temperature would go from warm, to boiling hot, then to freezing cold all by itself without you adjusting the temperature. Be real careful when you shower. "
"GOOD FOOD! Took Pork Ribs ( delicious and yummy!) at Jiko Restaurant where Erick and Agnes were at my service and i must admit their professionalism is a top- notch. Good work! Spa was relaxing. Eugene at the Reception , cool guy. And Purity who also attended to me was excellent and kind. Thank you."
"Their staff are good and welcoming, jiko hostess Caroline is always there to welcome you with a smile, Judy, Jackson,Hadson and Grace were all good and very responsive. The atmosphere is good, their swimming pool is very clean, sit next to the pool to enjoy their water falls"

"Traveling to Nairobi to participate in business negotiations to stay at this hotel, the hotel environment is good, the room layout is relatively warm, especially the service is very attentive. The nearby nightlife and dining are convenient, and the National Museum is just over a kilometer away. Hotel breakfast quality needs to be improved."

Kasarani, Off Thika Road, Nairobi, Kenya
"This hotel is not a real park but is better than a park. It has a large area and green grass. It can enjoy a variety of wild attractions while enjoying the enjoyment of the city. The most praiseworthy is that there is a large pool of different depths connected to each other, and a water slide that runs down the rockery. It is not boring for children to play in the afternoon. Another surprise is that there are five restaurants in the hotel, covering Chinese, Japanese, Italian and other international cuisines. The price of the hotel is breakfast-included (although Ctrip's order is marked with no breakfast), the breakfast is very rich, and after eating the western food for so many days, the chicken soup is especially delicious."
"The hotel is located on the outskirts of Nairobi and the surroundings are good. There is a shopping mall behind, there is also shopping village in the hotel, shopping is very convenient. The hotel occupies a large area, with large green areas, and there are water and twists and turns, which is indeed a veritable park hotel. The parking lot is very convenient for self-driving. Many of the swimming pools are suitable for parents and children. There are many restaurants for you to taste the cuisine of various countries. Being the first stop or the last stop to arrive in Kenya gives you a comfortable experience."
"The environment is very good, if only some wild animals are raised. Breakfast is good, set breakfast and dinner, barbecue for one night to watch the show, European dinner for one night. Both are pretty good. At noon, it will be resolved next to the shopping mall. Not too many guests, suitable for vacation."

United Nations Crescent, Gigiri, Nairobi, Kenya
"I've stayed at a few Nairobi hotels over the years as I visit for work and Magna has to be one of my favourites. You get a lot more for a lot less money than you'd pay elsewhere in the city. The rooms are huge (I think it rivals my 1 bedroom apartment) and tastefully decorated with hardwood floors and traditionally inspired rugs. The king size bed is very comfortable, and there's also a sectional sofa and large desk area in each room. The bathroom is spacious and modern, with both a tub and rainwater head shower. Pro tip - ask for a room with a balcony! A decent breakfast is included - there's a range of hot dishes, cereal, yogurt, cheese and fruit, and the chef will customize eggs for you. It's also right across from Village Market mall which has a number of restaurants (both sit down and food court) in case you want to mix things up. However, what really sets Magna apart is the service, the staff here are incredible. Warm, welcoming, and attentive, staff often went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable (without us even asking). Recommended."
"I stayed at the Magna Suites Nairobi for five days, six nights in February 2020 for a work trip. The hotel is conveniently located near Village Market Mall, and was within easy distance of professional meetings. I always felt safe at the hotel, they have professional security colleagues in place. The staff were always very accommodating, even when my partner arrived at 5:00 AM, they helped us check in and assisted with our luggage, as well as called us to make sure that we didn't miss breakfast. The dining room staff were a particular highlight. Michael's food was always delicious, and he learned what my partner and I liked to eat. Hilda's baked goods were a treat. Kennedy learned our habits, where we liked to eat, how we liked our coffee, and always made us feel comfortable and attended too during our stay. They are all excellent professionals, and if I'm ever lucky enough to return to Nairobi, I wouldn't hesitate to book another stay."
"I stayed for three nights at the Magna Hotel and I could highly recommend it. It's located quite far from the city centre; yet it's ideal for those coming for United Nations-related work as was my case. The hotel is located in the upscale United Nations Crescent area, is within walking distance from the UN and several key embassies (so it's safe), and it's also at close proximity to the Village Market which holds the not-to-be-missed Masai Market each Friday. And it's five minutes away from the Serenity Spa: a fantastic beauty "one-stop-shop"! The staff at the hotel are incredibly polite, helpful and service-minded. The rooms are clean and spacious; mine even had a little private garden. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and the two dinners I had there did not disappoint. And the rooftop pool is small but nice. In short, I've found my hotel in Nairobi, and I know where I will be staying each time I go there."

Mkungu Close, Westlands, off Parklands Road, Nairobi, P.O Box 49719, Nairobi, Kenya
"We are currently in this hotel and it is going well. Staff are friendly and the place is clean. We are in an apartment - it is really spacious, has a fully fitted kitchen, outdoor washing area with washing machine, two bathrooms, a spacious living room, dining area, two bedrooms, walk-in wardrobe and a balcony. I could not have asked for more. We stayed here as we are preparing to fly to South Africa on Sunday morning, it is close to the Aga Khan hospital for our covid tests and about 30 mins from the airport. DSTV in rooms as well, which has been great. The wifi is super fast! The food has not been amazing here, breakfast was pretty average, as was our lunch yesterday. Food is also pretty expensive, 2000 for a burger, which is a lot for Kenya. The pool is cold (it says that it is heated, but it doesn't feel like it), but it is clean and well kept. Overall, it is not bad and if you are in search of space and home comforts, the apartments are a good call. The views are grim as you look straight into other buildings and rooms, but it is not a deal breaker for us."
"My girlfriend and i wanted to have brunch at a restaurant close to our home and we happened to come across this hotel that was offering Sunday brunch at affordable prices and we decided to try it .Upon arrival we were received with warm smiles, and we were taken straight to the top revolving restaurant where we had reserved a table .We had an exquisite dine and the experience was magical. The food was divine, the lamb shoulder was cooked to perfection, and i would definitiley recommend this hotel to any persons looking to have an amaizing dining experince."
"the very friendly staff goes the extra Mile. In case you need any additional wishes/requests such as preparing the gym for you as per CORONA Standard Operating Procedure, go to reception and book your time. Consider it done! I felt safe and well taken care of - Fantastic experience! "

"We held a conference at Sovereign Suites Limuru and it was a perfect place for our business meeting.
