"The service is very good, and the facilities are also good. During the epidemic, you must make an appointment in advance. It is especially thoughtful. The pool disinfection work is done very well."
"The hotel environment is very good. As the itinerary was full, it was not fully experienced. A little regret"
"Very good hotel, service is very good, help parking, breakfast is great, highly recommended!"

"The hotel is more than an hour's drive from London. It is a wedding experience. The hotel has a sense of history and style. The stairs and floors are wooden. The room has a teapot and a capsule coffee machine. The bathroom is separated from the hot and cold water pipes. It is a bit unaccustomed. However, the hotel has just been renovated and has a strong taste of decoration. It was awakened in the morning and had to open the window. The wedding is still very beautiful, leaving a wonderful memory"

"This hotel was rather a let down. It is a beautiful building with gorgeous gardens and rooms, and wonderfully unique restaurant the oak room. Being part of the handpicked range with its other hotels including the Bailbrook hotel, it has nothing of the glamour and prestige of the others in the group. The issues, we arrived and it took 10 minutes for a member of staff to appear. Now I’m not sure that’s their fault, the staff seem over worked and like they have to do a million jobs. Throughout our stay everywhere seemed to be missing staff. We were lead up stairs to our room, to breakfast trays still outside other rooms (it was 1:30pm), to find that our junior suite had no bath. They politely changed our room to the other junior suite, but I felt whoever ended up with the mistress room should not be paying the same as the queens room which is much nicer. The mistress room was also not clean, I found some used tissues around the room on the floor. Our second room however was very lovely. Drinks before dinner. They clearly don’t have a proper bar staff on, they have no fruit for the gin cocktails in their menu, and the bar appears very cluttered and un-tidy. But we got some drinks and enjoyed the lounge, and the lady on the front desk in the evening was very friendly and polite. Dinner. Now I cannot fault the food, it was amazing. However (the feedback of the whole trip), we refused to pay service as there was none. We had to ask three times for some olive oil for our bread (after having told our waiter we couldn’t eat dairy - and telling the hotel in advance). It took along time to get our bill, as the waiter also seemed to be making our drinks and taking our plates back to the restaurant. Which meant often there was a room full of guests with no staff. We noticed on the way back to our rooms and this morning coming down for breakfast that the mess we had noticed on the stairs and in the reception area hadn’t been cleaned since we arrived. Also notable were beer cans in front of the hotel. Breakfast, the food was lovely. But an issue with my husbands breakfast occurred where they put some sauce on we had requested wasn’t there. No apology was made until the new breakfast arrived, after I had finished mine. Overall, we enjoyed the food but there clearly isn’t enough staff. It could be a wonderful hotel, but the management need to make some serious changes. For example we were asked how our stay was and we replied umm, ok. No questions asked by the reception. We got our bill and we said we got no service so we didn’t want to pay the service charge. Again no questions were asked as to why. My husband even asked the lady behind reception if it was normal to not enquire why someone did not want to pay a service charge. Her response was no because it’s optional. I really hope this hotel turns itself around, because it lets down the handpicked hotel name. There are not many big changes that would need to occur. Though I do feel staff should lea"
"We wanted to give ourselves a little treat and this was perfect. The staff were excellent especially the receptionist and the head waiter. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable but the floor was a little creaky and there was a cracked tile on the floor of the bathroom. Our free bottle of wine was not in our room on arrival but the receptionist organised for it to be served to us with dinner and it was a decent Chardonnay. Dinner was delicious, nice selection on the menu. Breakfast was ok there was also a menu to choose from so everything was freshly cooked but our poached eggs were overdone and the waitress did not offer any toast or sauces. "
"We spent a pretty perfect afternoon at Woodlands Park having afternoon tea on the terrace on a sunny day. The service, food and setting were all excellent and we were well looked after. Our temperatures were taken on arrival and it was quiet so social distancing was no problem. Some hand sanitiser placed outside the washrooms would be a good addition. Would highly recommend it."

"The hotel is only 5 minutes away from Windsor Castle. It is very centrally located in the town of Windsor. It is very convenient to walk to the shopping street and supermarket. The interior decoration of the hotel is exquisite and the room size is also good. It is highly recommended. I will come back again if I have a chance. During the epidemic, the hotel’s breakfast was served according to the SET MENU, not a buffet, but the quality and taste were quite good."
"Turn left at the first exit of the hotel and then turn right to Windsor Castle, very close. When I checked in, the beauties at the front desk told me how to get to the room (in the building next door). If I did n’t understand, the beauties took us directly in the rain. Breakfast is good. I will ask what kind of bread I want when I come up, then I bake it and serve it. The rest is self-collected. There is a large parking lot in the yard. Free extra beds are available."
"The hotel location is very good, right next to Windsor Castle and neighbor with the Queen! The room is relatively small, and it is a subsidiary building. The overall decoration is new. We booked a room with breakfast, and the breakfast was good."

"This hotel is simple yet refined located in a central area close to Ascot. It has a combination of older clean traditional style rooms and then a newer modern wing that feels more commercial. The gardens are beautiful and worth to have a Gardenview room-the service is outstanding and feels very modest and welcoming. The staff members were all accommodating and friendly- specifically Maddie and Bruno - no status here- just kindness. The food was quite good the breakfast was wonderful especially with made to order eggs. If you are looking for a smaller traditional hotel this is a wonderful option however please note that there are no spa facilities no swimming facilities and a very small exercise room. Also the hotel is undergoing some very light construction upgrades which look to be quite simple however would suggest making sure that it doesn’t interfere with your stay."
"Stayed at The Royal Berkshire Saturday 15th February 2020 after going racing at Ascot. From the time we stepped into the hotel until we left we were treated fabulously. Just like to mention 3 people that stood out and that was Lilly, Chloe and Martin who even though they were young in years were very professional at serving us. The breakfast was brilliant with a wide range of choice for every need. This hotel was in our top 5 of hotels we have stayed in over the world even beating the 5 star luxury hotel we stayed in in Singapore last year. Will definitely being staying again soon but they are fully booked for Royal Ascot this year which is a big shame as we will have to stay elsewhere. Thank you again all Andrew & Sharon Smith xx"
"This is a difficult review as I really wanted to give 5 stars... However, the lack of a spa or pool was a bit of a bummer... We went for a friends wedding so venue wasn't really a choice.. Location is lovely and the gardens are very pretty even in winter. Service was lovely and the staff were absolutely excellent. Room. We had a "cool room" and it was spacious with a lovely view of the garden, quiet and the stand-up shower and bathroom were great. The lounge bar was very relaxing and again service and drinks were excellent. So really it's the facilities that just let the overall visit down, nothing else. If I could have taken half a star off for that I would but trip advisor doesnt allow you to do that."

"Horsley Place not Towers - Very pleasant receptionist booked my party in half an hour early as we had arrived, and found rooms all adjacent one another :-). Rooms on the small side but adequate, showers only, no baths, no twin rooms available. Showers mostly in need of a little TLC. Breakfast great, staff around hotel at 7am cheery hello'd but restaurant staff less so? Free papers around. Bar area pleasant but traversed by gym goers. Bar food mixed bag, minute steak sent back, tuna sandwich huge and good. Was busy with a weekend convention but didn't appear over crowded. Morning receptionist argued the toss over breakfast being prepaid or not which annoyed me as the price for loyalty customers was same with or without. plenty of parking, if a little far away if raining hard. Book again? yes, lovely scenery. For best price go direct and join loyalty scheme costs nothing get reductions and benefits"
"Stayed here now quite a few times, lovely hotel, very clean, staff are always very friendly and helpful and perfect location. There are tea and coffee machines located around the hotel which is all free so that's always nice. They have installed still and sparkling water machines around the hotel to. The only real let down was the breakfast. The bacon was rather over cooked and the black pudding was like a brick and tasted burnt. It also took the staff around 10mins to come over and ask us if we wanted tea and coffee. It's has not put us off wanting to go back again, we will definitely be back at some point."
"I stayed here two nights this week and was very happy with my stay. Last time I had a very disturbed night's sleep due to bad sound proofing but this time I was in a much quieter part of the hotel and so I was happy. The bed was very comfortable. The food throughout my stay was all very good and generous portions given. "

"The location is very good, directly opposite Windsor Castle. The room was large and clean. Breakfast is buffet style is more authentic. Just don't have a parking lot, you have to stop at a nearby place at your own expense. However, there are quite a lot of parking lots nearby. If you stay at Windsor Castle for one night, this is the best option."
"Right next to Windsor Castle, the location is good, 3 minutes away. There are McDonald's nearby, there are several restaurants, and it is convenient to eat. There is also a shopping street on the left side. There are also cashmere scarf shops in Scotland that are cheaper than Edinburgh. Very recommended hotel."
"The location is very, very good, the guard is changing the guard. It is not suitable for self-driving tour. The parking fee is £35 for one night. so expensive. There are a lot of choices around the restaurant."

"An anniversary night for me and my partner. Upon arrival the lady at reception was very welcoming and full of smiles. Everything was explained in detail, she even went out of her way to search the dinner menu for us as we were debating booking dinner in the hotel. Clear instructions of where our room was. Entering our room it was a great shock! Room 70 where Chris froome had stayed in 2012. It was very large and very tasteful. We were happy! Even more to see a good mini bar, also a bath and a shower and a balcony we could stand out on. Free WiFi, tea and coffee. We ventured down to the facilities. Using the gym was great absolutely great equipment very impressed. The spa facilities are very nice and very clean. I really think they have it 100% right there in terms of they know what people want and do it spot on. Breakfast was great- lovely staff. Check out was smooth and they were asking where we will be going for the rest of the day, genuinely concerned staff of our wellbeing. Small feedback we gave in regards to the underfloor heating, said will take a couple of hours. It didn’t it took around 6/8. So we asked for a heater which they kindly brought up for us. Will be returning. Shame the weather was awful we would have used the tennis courts or outdoor pool! Maybe would have done some golf. Thank you to the staff at foxhills"
"We had contacted several possible venues prior to booking Foxhills. Last October we met Lydia Thorn who was most welcoming and helpful making the arrangements, taking on board everything we wanted. We were in the terrace room which was ideal for our gathering of around 20 and which gave direct outdoor access to the younger members of our party. Prior to the lunch had use of the adjoining lounge where Agnieszka and staff provided an excellent drinks service. Regarding the lunch itself, everything went smoothly, the food was delicious and the varied dietary requirements catered for with everybody's choices served correctly. The waiting staff were very efficient the ambience was great and I believe everybody enjoyed themselves. I would also like to mention the helpfulness of staff in arranging wheelchair access, the serving of my cake and taking photos of our party. All in all it made my day and I would certainly recommend Foxhills for a celebratory event"
"From the moment we checked in, until the moment we checked out, we were very impressed by the hotel. Friendly staff especially at check in, Daisy was brilliant and charming! We were allocated a suite, which had two floors, lovely large living area on the ground floor, with en suite bar area for cold and hot drinks Upper floor had a beautiful large bed, with en suite bathroom, both bath and shower which was great for the both of us! We had lunch in the ‘nineteenth’ brasserie, which was very good We had dinner in the restaurant on the same day, which was of a very high standard, along with the service! Breakfast again was very good, all buffet options, with the opportunity to order eggs to your liking Overall, a wonderful stay at a lovely hotel, we will be back! "

"Pros: The location is good, it is great to have breakfast on the Thames and Eaton Bridge early in the morning. The same English breakfast. The parking lot needs to be parked outside. Disadvantages: Luggage and children pay attention, our room is in need of climbing the old British building three floors and it is the kind of transfer, the estimated trouble. The bed in the room is small and not suitable for a family of three. The extra bed did not know, there was no call. PS: The room is not air conditioned!"
"Very good, the environmental traffic did not say, the forgotten baggage hotel left the arranger to take a taxi to the airport, thank you very much"

"The hotel introduced by friends, there are many tourists in the city during the summer vacation, so choose this hotel that is close to the airport and convenient to the surrounding attractions. The reception desk was warm and detailed, the room was large, the shower was not very good, the breakfast was not much, and the hygiene was very clean. It is recommended to buy water and essentials in the supermarket that is approaching the hotel. The hotel's water is super expensive. Next to the hotel is the largest Mercedes-Benz store exhibition and sales in the UK, not bad!"
