Set Loft Suit for three nights, very amazing! The location is excellent (the first shake shack in the park downstairs), and good restaurants nearby can walk. The room type is square and the electrical facilities are complete. The lobby checkin is waiting for drinks, and the elevator diversion is very user-friendly (because I don't like sharing elevators with strangers). The bedding and bathrobe texture are so comfortable! On the 25th floor, you can see the Empire State Building directly on one side of the window on both sides, and the sunset view of the skyline on the other side. room service is also great, the only downside is that the phone answering is slower (basically it takes three times to answer). We checked out at 5 am and the waiters were enthusiastic to help us take our luggage to the car. Very comfortable experience, the overall feeling is much better than the Times Square tour in all aspects, has booked a room for the next few days, still live here.

My friend said the location is remote, but it is quieter than Times Square and Central Park. If you want to be quiet, you can live here. There is a big supermarket opposite where you can eat and buy food. Ask the front desk for a hot water bottle

The hotel is very close to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and a walk takes place. The rooms are small but beautifully furnished. Two bottles of Evian mineral water are delivered every day. The first day has fruit bowls. Many people in the lobby elevators wear clothes to highlight New York fashion. It was unfortunate that I met an Oolong front desk man and gave me two pre-authorizations. I had to pay a hundred for the prepayment of the house. He brushed a hundred and then brushed for 590 dollars. I didn't point out that he didn't explain this to me. When I showed the text message of payment, he went to the office and said something to another person. Then the person came out and checked that they didn't collect more money, everything was OK, then I asked. What should I do with this money? The man said that he will be able to return it to me. This is a mistake. This is of course a mistake. The lady who came to check did not apologize and said that there was no problem. I am very dissatisfied with this. I didn’t receive more than five hundred dollars in the morning, but I returned a hundred dollars. It was too much. I checked this matter with them when I checked out. They said that they didn’t collect more money. The pre-authorization will be after I left. I gave it back in a few days. They did not collect the money but brushed up the pre-authorization, and did not release the pre-authorization when I left. It was almost a month before I received the automatic cancellation. The rooms in the hotel are very good and good value for money, but for the work at the front desk, remind the Chinese compatriots to pay attention!

Walking to Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum is very close, the surrounding environment is typical of the Upper East Side, and it is not convenient to buy food outside. The room is extra large and the bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom is large, the shower water is like a waterfall, the water is huge and soft, and the bathroom products have their own brand and feel high-end. Evian water and chocolate are delivered every day, and the service is warm and thoughtful. Very satisfied. The downside is that the lobby bar is small and the price of the hotel is very expensive.

Reviews From Real Travelers
This is my third review of The Carlyle over the years (across probably 25 stays), and, sadly, the first one where I didn't feel I could give the hotel five stars. Although this is specifically about a stay in November 2022, it relates more generally to the renovated rooms at The Carlyle -- and here, the 11/22 stay was our third in a renovated room. Two were in Superior Suites, and one was in a Rosewood Suite. First, the good: The service continues to terrific, and greetings from the staff are genuine and caring. Across the board, when I raised an issue, someone tried to make things better. Housekeeping did not miss a beat. The bedding and linens are top notch. I found the beds in all three rooms terrific. And, the renovations fixed what had been a tendency for the HVAC to be spotty, depending on the room. The renovated systems worked flawlessly. And, the rooms are quiet -- no street noise or noise from adjoining rooms. In the Superior Suites, the bathrooms are small. In one of the two we stayed in, we had a half bath, which made things a bit better. But, if you want a big bathroom, then look elsewhere. I find the baths adequate, and the showers delightful (as they have been across 30 years). Now, the not so good: The lighting the renovated rooms is atrocious. In the living rooms of all three suites, there wasn't enough light to read in the evening, other than in the one chair that they equipped with a reading light. The desk lamp -- while stylish -- gives off about the equivalent of a 40 watt light bulb. Who does that? There are wall mounted sconces -- with the equivalent of 15 watt bulbs in them. One room had a ceiling unit that had 3 bulbs with the equivalent of 40 watt bulbs. Why? The traditional Carlyle had great lighting -- three way bulbs with up to 150 watts in total in each of 3 or 4 lamps in the room. In this version, I feel depressed in the rooms in the evening. And then there's the bedroom. While there are lamps on the end tables next to the bed, they are on one switch. Either both are on, or neither. Why? Why not have them separately switched? There's a spot-like reading light on each side of the bed -- but that's a poor substitute from the warmth of the bedside table light. Why would anyone design a hotel room this way? I suppose if all one does in a hotel room is look at one's phone or computer, or watch TV, the lighting will suffice. But if you want to read? Forget it. And then you get to storage. In each of the three suites there was no storage at all for your things (I've seen reviews that show some rooms having dressers). Each of the living room and bedroom had shelving, but the room designers filled the shelves with design stuff that serves no purpose, leaving those unavailable to the guest. Even the closets lack usable shelving, other than a high shelf above the hanging clothes. The old Carlyle rooms had vast amounts of storage space in large dressers. It's almost as if the room design

On the prestigious corner of Madison Avenue and 76th Street, just off Central Park, sits the Carlyle Hotel. It is surrounded by galleries and designer boutiques and is just blocks from MOMA, the Guggenheim, the Frick and is within easy distance of the Museum Mile. I applauded my Deluxe King accommodations with city view, nearly 400 sq. ft. of space, beautiful desk peering out the window and dual geometrically pattered rugs. A white/dark beige palette adorned the area, with a foyer, funky pictures, wave bed tables and modern furniture. The marble bathroom featured underfloor heating and spacious rain shower. The Carlyle is rich in eating, drinking and entertainment facilities. The Dowling is the principle restaurant serving up dishes that range from Steak Diane to Lobster Bisque to Veal Ossa Bucco and more. I fell for Octopus Carpaccio and Dover sole ...a savoury medley from the sea. Bemelmans Bar is one of the greatest old school cocktail spots in NYC. I took in Ludwig Bemelman's (the creator of the classic Madeline children's books) whimsical murals on the wall, savoured a signature martini from the bar and listened to the incredible nightly piano talent. The Cafe Carlyle is a Cabaret-styled Supper Club, sporting entertainment luminaries and a minimalist menu borrowed from the Dowling. The Carlyle has notable amenities in the form of the Valmont Spa: a luxe wellness centre allowing guests to experience a bevy of treatment options, a Fitness Center, amply outfitted, allowing me to follow my exercise regime while traveling, and Afternoon tea is offered in the Gallery. So, if you are looking for a legendary, nostalgic and special hotel on the Upper East Side .......then try the ...........Carlyle .................A Classic Hotel.

Overall it's good. The room is big and the sound insulation is good. After all, the convenience is really convenient in such a bustling area. The service is generally good.

The facilities are outdated, and the bathroom is also very ordinary! The price/performance ratio is not as good as the Trump Hotel. In the future, I will still live in Fifty Streets.

The hotel is a small jewelry. The hotel is very elegant and very elegant. We came to make our wedding photos in addition, a warned hotel... the room is all the same sumptuous, exceptional litter ! Perfect ! Magic ! The room is also sublime, small bemol, no heating in the bathroom, Francis K product available, it's very valuable, separate toilet. The hotel has a very good soundproof, a delicious breakfast idem for the Room service, a price at the hotel's level. The hotel is a very good hotel and is very good for the staff. The hotel is a very nice pool, a top bed of rest, and a jacuzzi is perfect for this relaxation after a long day in NY Street We will return with great pleasure!

As expected of the Crystal Palace Hotel, the lobby and restaurant bar are full of high-end feeling, and you can't see it just by looking at the crystal. The service is first-class, as soon as you arrive at the door, the waiter has been waiting and helping guests with luggage, allowing guests to check in early. The hotel is luxurious and luxurious, made of precious Baccarat crystals, and the room is presented with chocolate, cake, Evian water, comfortable

Wenhua's service is always the basic guarantee for travel. Although the lobby is too unsatisfactory, but because I am only a few minutes away from my yoga studio every morning, it is convenient to travel first.

The location is very good, overlooking Central Park; but the hotel facilities are old, the most unbearable is that the application for Wi-Fi is complicated and it is repeatedly necessary to verify with text messages. After three days of living, Wi-Fi is finally not available.

The location of the hotel is very good. After crossing the road is the Central Park. It is very convenient to make a carriage. There are also many restaurants around, and the shopping malls are very close. Breakfast is $48 for adults, much more expensive than Miami. We ate at a nearby breakfast restaurant and tasted very good, many locals.

The room is very beautiful and the location is just across the road from Central Park. The only downside is that there is no coffee maker and the kettle must be rented for $10 a day. Not every room has a bathtub, you must ask in advance.

The March to May spring and September to November autumn are warm, cozy, and good for being outdoors. Bringing along a light jacket is advisable due to the huge morning and night temperature difference. July to August are relatively warmer, and the beaches are particularly popular; do bring along something to prevent the burns. Come winter in November to March, the weather would be noticeably colder and snowstorms or blizzards are frequent, and therefore outdoors activities are inadvisable. The December climate is really cold and it is strongly suggested that you bring along winter clothing.
