"I had the pleasure of entertaining 50+ international guests at Le Tre Vaselle who flew in from all around the world to attend our wedding in beautiful Torgiano, Italy. From the very beginning, Rosemery and Andrea were fantastic and very accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure our guests had a memorable experience and our wedding weekend ran smoothly. The hotel is beautiful and well appointed with several amenities including a gym, spa, restaurant and wine cellar. It is quite charming and enchanting with various nooks, cellars and corridors that are beautifully decorated. You can get lost very easily in it's passages! The town itself is small and has a friendly vibe. There are cute restaurants and shops with easy access to many vineyards and medieval towns to explore (Spello, Bevagna). We had organized a welcome pizza party on the terrace of the hotel to jump start our wedding weekend. Rosemery and Andrea helped to organize and threw in such nice touches to make the evening special. Rosemery even spent the day in town to obtain a music permit for us (an Italian legal requirement) so that we could have an accordionist play for our guests. I am so grateful for the attention and assistance with coordination that was provided. Everyone working at Le Tre Vaselle are very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay and experience memorable. I feel so blessed to have stumbled upon this unique gem of a hotel that was the perfect location and accommodation for our wedding guests. I highly recommend staying here and encourage anyone planning a wedding at the beautiful Castello di Rosciano venue nearby to consider this hotel for their wedding block. I look forward to going back to Torgiano to visit the friends we have made there and to rekindle those wonderful memories."
"We stayed at La Tre Vaselle a few years ago and it was superb, so we decided to make it the venue for our summer vacation this year and wow - it is just as good as it was then if not better. The staff are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble. We had a room with a terrace overlooking the garden which I would highly recommend. We asked for sun beds to be put on the terrace which they happily did and that became our retreat when we wanted to be away from the pool area. Torgiano is a lovely hill top village with a few really good restaurants and a fantastic wine shop and bar - to be highly recommended. Torgiano is also a fantastic base from which to explore beautiful Umbria. Assisi, Spello, Montefalco, Todd, Orvieto, and further to Firenze. We love Italy and we love La Tre Vaselle - it is fantastic! Stuart & Moira from Scotland"
"Le Tre Vaselle is not a 5-star hotel----it is a 10-star hotel!!! The staff was unbelievably attentive and professional. Our junior suite was a lovely 2-level apartment, spotless and very comfortable with a luxurious modern bathroom. Breakfast selection was overwhelming: fresh and delicious, a perfect start to our day. Even when we had to leave before dawn to catch our flight in Rome, a personal breakfast had been prepared for us, so we'd be well-fed for our journey. Rubesco wine by the fire was a perfect finish to each evening. First class all the way."

"My wife and I booked for a week's All inclusive for our 10th wedding anniversary and were really looking forward to coming to the hotel. While some of the reviews were terrible, I ignored that as there were also good reviews and most of the pictures looked good. The receptionist booked us in and gave us our key. There was no one else in the Hotel except the owner. When we went to our room we were very disappointed. It was very small, the curtain was hanging off, the toilet wasn't fixed to the wall and moved, the stool had one of its legs snapped off and the bathroom tiling hadn't been finished. When we went down to the bar it was closed and no sign of how to get anything to drink. When we were asked about our All Inclusive drinks the receptionist she replied 'water'! This seemed ridiculous and we were very upset with what we had experienced in the hour we were there, so checked out without paying. It is very sad."

"This was an absolute dream staying here. There’s not one area that doesn’t deserve 5 stars. It is just far enough out of the town but close enough too. The staff was PHENOMENAL to say the least, from the moment we checked in. They made us feel so so welcomed and personalized. We stayed in Chiavi suite which I highly recommend. The view is unbeatable. EAT at the restaurant Grandale. That staff to outstanding and the food mouthwatering. We walked around the castle and sat up at the top enjoying the view. Breakfast was included and was better than expected. Everything was kept immaculately clean but kept the castle feel. I recommend sitting by the fire in the evening and having a drink. Also do rent a car to make your stay more accessible. I’m honestly not sure how we would’ve have done it without a car. Pictures do not do this amazing place justice."
"We were not disappointed by our selection of Castello di Monterone for our 3 day stay in Umbria. All accommodations are in modernised castle rooms. We were in Gastaldo - one of the Superior rooms with views out onto the Umbrian countryside. Absolutely beautiful. The restaurant at the Castello is excellent - see separate review. The Castle grounds and gardens are superbly maintained and clean. There is a swimming pool, but we did not get around to making use of this during this short stay. A good buffet breakfast is available. WiFi is OK and there was plenty of open air parking available at the time of our visit. Great base for those planning to visit Perugia and the local Umbrian attractions."
"Castello Monterone is one of the best run hotels I have stayed in. Each room is unique and furnished to a high standard in keeping with the age and style of the hotel. The staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful. On asking where the bar was we were told "wherever you want it to be" meaning they would bring us our drinks wherever we wanted to sit, inside or in the grounds (what a lovely answer). The gardens are well maintained. The restaurant is outstanding both for dinner and for breakfast. There are lovely views over to Perugia. We did not want to leave. The hotel offers great value for money."

"The ideal break with your family! Alessio and his family really make you feel very welcome, they are very attentive and professional. The apartments were big enough to host our family of four and the food is really tasting. Every day we could taste different regional meals and the cuisine is genuine and healthy. The property has a swimming pool: the water is fresh and clean and they also provide you the towels for the sunbeds. On the top of it... you have to try the outdoor jacuzzi... you will feel surrounded by silence and peace as well as in all the area where the property is located. If you want to have lunch there are plenty of restaurants, osteria and farm house you can find around. In this case make sure to have breakfast at the earliest opening time because Alessio will offer you a varieties of home made cakes and everything is so good that you cannot decline! It was so sad leaving...we want to come back very soon!! Good job!"
"Close your eyes and imagine the most stunning views, hills, beautiful olive trees. Then add stone cottages with pattios, spacious rooms and bathrooms. This place is amazing. The owner (Alessio) and his family are very attentive and just want to make sure that you’ll get the best holiday. We enjoyed the 5 course dinner every night at the property along with great Italian wine. Normally, we would have dinner at different restaurants when we travel, but the food is good here - homecooked by the family - and very flavoursome. No need to eat somewhere else. And the homemade pasta ... the best pasta I’ve ever had. If you are lucky, you’ll get to taste mimosa cake made by Mama. What a treat. The property is near to lots of sightseeing and beautiful places. Just book and go. You won’t regret it. We will be back next year."
"This was our third visit to Santa Maria Degli Ancillotti in 3 years. We have been intoxicated by this peaceful luxurious retreat. Difficult to find alternative words for what has already been described. Wonderful location on hillside outside of Assisi. Beautiful, very comfortable rooms with air con and modern facilities. Gorgeous grounds and pool, including terrace where all meals are served in summer. If this was not enough, the real pull for our family is the Villa Family who welcome us as old friends and are so attentive and helpful. Dinner, cooked by the family, is a wonderful experience. Highly recommend and we will be returning!"

"We arrived 6th October for five nights We stayed in room 121 with fabulous views. the barking dogs below were in no way inconvenient. The bedroom and bathroom was very well appointed and generous in size. Clean and tidy with quality toiletries. The bed linen was changed every day - very impressed!! We spent the majority of our stay sitting by the pool looking across the valleys and admining the secluded houses perched on the hillsides. We can understand the criticisms regarding food quality. The quality was more than acceptable, using local influences in the preparations of each meal including Wild Boar and Black Sausages. Sadly the desserts were a bought-in frozen product of mediocre quality. I am surprised that members of the kitchen team could not prepare two famous Italian desserts fresh each day. A good quality home-made Tiramisu would contribute to improving customer reviews. We enjoyed the visit to the wine tasting on our doorstep. Louigi from the hotel was conducting the show-round by the owners who do not speak any English. Visiting Umbria in early October coincides with the harvest of the vines and we witnessed the grapes being processed into juice to begin the process of fermentation. Luigi was very informative, knowledgeable and was genuinely interested in ensuring that we understood the wine's journey from vine to bottle. We would have no hesitation to recommend Relais il Canalicchio for a peace and quiet holiday and we ortunity to return again in the future."
"My friend and I spent a week here at the beginning of October and it was our home base for a week of travelling in Umbria/Tuscany. When we first arrived at dusk, after a long flight, we were blown away by the beauty of the place all lit up. We loved our stay here, and loved spending time on the terrace with some wine, and being guests to the most amazing views and sunsets. Yes, you need a car, yes it's a long windy road to get to the hotel, but that is what we LOVED about it. The room we had was spacious and clean. We ate dinner at the hotel most nights and found it enjoyable. If you are looking to be near a city, no this is not the place for you but if you want to be blown away by the beauty of Umbria, don't hesitate!"
"I gave been bringing groups of travelers to Italy for 20 years. Usually I choose a hotel within walking distance of local restaurants or bars. I was reluctant to book this hotel because of its isolated locale. I was so pleasantly surprised! The setting was breathtaking, the staff was warm and accommodating, the food was excellent. The cooking class was great- each person prepared their own food, which eliminated too many hands in the food! After our daily excursions, we all enjoyed the ambience and tranquility of this beautiful hotel. There was a piano player in our group which also helped pass the evenings. Even the staff joined in our sing slings. I will definitely bring another group here in the future."

"What a wonderful and unforgettable stay in this historical palazzo with its stunning high ceiling fresco in the breakfast lounge, contemporary designed bathrooms and spacious rooms! Plenty of fresh and tasty options served for breakfast. Hamid, at the reception has been an outstanding host, offering us a warm welcome and plenty of recommendations according to our taste. This was our first time in Perugia with my brother and now we dream of coming back! (in the warm season to enjoy the rooftop and a room with private jacuzzi on the balcony…)"
"I didn't expect Perugia to be our highlight of a trip including Bologna, Assisi, Florence and so forth but we loved it. Locanda della Posta contributed to this. Its location is perfect (on the main promenade but easily accessed from a drop off point on the square. It has secure parking. The room was fabulous. The staff were extremely helpful. we were sorry to leave."
"A pleasant stay in this boutique hotel in the center of Perugia’s old town. Staff was very helpful with luggage, restaurant suggestions and reservations, and even solved an internet connection problem for us. Enjoyed being able to walk to all historic sites and many 4 star restaurants, took advantage of hotel provided umbrellas when rains started."

"I'm sure that in the regular season this hostel would be excellent. However i went before xmas and it was deserted, so that kind of affected my view on it. However, it was clean, comfortable beds with a good common area. and the staff were super helpful and friendly and was 2 mins walk from everything. Only real down side was ( the usual) issue with having a shared bathroom in a 12 bed dorm, and maybe one other communal, which in busy season could cause issues. However if i went back to perugia, i would probably stay here again."
"I stayed for 7 nights and even tho it was during quarantine I really enjoyed the place. The owner Daniele and his wife are really nice people and will help you with everything you need. Also the location and design of the place are awesome, a couple of blocks from Piazza IV Novembre and all the main historical attractions, I would really like to go back! :)"
"Great place to stay! Clean, quiet and comfortable room, just like in the pictures online. Friendly and helpful staff (Eden) :-) Tasty continental breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere. The city itself is also beautiful!"

"Take a dip in the indoor swimming pool with glass floor, revealing 3,000-year-old Etruscan ruins. Just one of the luxuries you will enjoy at Hotel Brufani Palace. Brufani Palace is one of the most prestigious hotels in Perugia. It boasts magnificent views across the green hills of Umbria and the medieval rooftops. It features spacious guest rooms and halls, with frescoed ceilings and original wood floors. You can work out at the well-equipped gym and treat yourself to a sauna, steam bath, or hot tub. The stylish bar has a traditional, English design and is great for both an afternoon tea and a cocktail in the evening. Collins Restaurant is well known for its delicious regional cuisine and excellent selection of fine wines. During the summer you may dine al fresco out on the terrace. The elegant banquet halls are ideal for private parties and the roof garden can hold up to 75 people. The hotel also has a series of modern meeting rooms, fitted with every modern accessory, and with a maximum capacity of 130."

"We stayed in this beautiful property for 1 night in April 2019 and found the check in process and amenities to be excellent. We also really appreciated the option of a 35Euro fixed menu dinner, which covered 4 courses and wine). The food was excellent, My only suggestion is that tea and coffee making facilities be included in the bedroom."
"Unfortunately we only had 1 night. Lovely grand estate with beautiful grounds, spectacular view, luxurious old world rooms and a very helpful young manager. Relaxed and informal in a very surreal setting. Live the life of the rich and famous for a treat!"
"We stayed for one nigh and all was perfect. From super friendly staff, very clean and big room to super nice view and park around villa. Unfortunately we did not tried pool but it looks very nice. Price for that nice accommodation was very fair. "
