Top 10 Busfeild Arms Hotels

We got put in a very small double bedroom (standard double) but there was barely any room to move about, even the bathroom was tiny. I went and spoke to the manager who was lovely and upgraded us to the executive suite (honeymoon) no extra charge as it was my partners birthday. Absolutely amazing !!

I have been to 3 Green pubs in the last month and it would seem to be the case in each one, needs an update tired and shabby. ~The staff in all three were pleasant and hardworking, a credit to the company. The food however is rubbish you need to change the chef in all three. breakfast in one cant poach eggs, hard as bullets. Burger and fries in second burger tasteless and poor quality served almost cold. The last The Marine in Hornsea , a thirty five minute wait, fish chips and mushy peas. the peas were like thick pea soup and stone cold, the fish slightly over cooked warm with the few chips hidden underneath , nothing on the plate was hot and to say we waited and paid over £13 per portion. Needless to say that is the last visit we will be making to a Green King eatery or Hotel.

I've been to the Craiglands a few times before, but not overnight. This was a 2 night stay BB+D for £260 in total. As the dinners were 3 courses and included a Prosecco each, both nights, I thought this was very good value, particularly as the dinners were good quality. The hotel is well located at the edge of the moor above the town. Our room was large with the usual facilities, plus a creaky floor. The bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was fine, but would have been better had there been cold meats and fish options. Overall we had a lovely time, benefitting from glorious weather
