From the moment I walked in the door to check in I was taken back by the share beauty of this resort. The stunning views from the restaurant while eating breakfast and dinner daily. Food was impeccable. But the most favourite part was being greeted, serviced by the beautiful smiling faces of the Fijian staff. I felt we were back in Fiji. Sally at Reception and Selita in the restaurant you two ladies went above and beyond. I truely hope I get to meet you again on our next stay. The Fijian Porter who drove us home nightly after dinner you were amazing. Bula to you all being away from your families and country and still giving 110%. You have all made our get away so memorable.

Quiet and secluded location in forest, very private and peaceful. We booked the 2 bedroom chalet for 3 nights. Nearest town is about 6-8mins drive away, not too far, but the drive is a tad scary in the dark (which is quite early this time of year). Very roomy, lots of space, well equipped kitchen, though there were no basics (such as oil/salt/pepper), though there was a small pack of milk provided. Coffee powder provided, but no coffee press. Very strong stable wifi , no password needed, which was awesome. You can login to your netflix account on the smart tv. Washing machine is outside in a separate room, which is not very convenient to get to in the winter cold (and at night). No dryer, so need to wrangle with the clothes line and there's very few clothes pegs provided. Need to clear trash which you need to drive out to, not very convenient. There's a pool and small playground (with a trampoline) Overall, we loved the stay, for its privacy and closeness to nature, but be prepared with food/amenities else you'd be stuck in the middle of nowhere. Bar soap, shampoo, conditioner provided, and there's a bathtub. Toilet is separate from the bathroom, which is good. Strong heating from the main heater in the living room, which was a nice surprise We saw kangaroos (regularly at a clearing on the drive out), a bunny once when we first arrived, and had frequent visits from a kookaburra, which was lovely.

We enjoyed a mid week stay at the new Hilton. I booked a great rate stay on their website. Peak location. We were given a very nice room with a wonderful view facing the jetty. The staff at the Hilton are all happy and friendly. No request is too much trouble. The room was well appointed. Well designed bathroom. Nice window seating to enjoy the view. Very comfortable. Breakfast buffet is superb. The chefs produce wonderful fresh food. We ate in the evenings in the hotel restaurant. Don't go outside and have a cheap and cheerful meal. Enjoy the brilliant food at the Hilton at a very reasonable price for the top quality produce. I had a wonderful aged steak with saddleback potatoes, greens, mushroom ragout to die for accompanied by a delicious peppercorn sauce. Amazing! Stay here!!! Pool, cocktail bar, brilliant food. I think it is the best in this area. The interior of the room was a nice touch. The front desk is very kind. I really liked the area around the hotel.
