Reviews From Real Travelers
I went to the hotel with my family for 8 days; before our stay we were sent a mail to detail some details of our stay (preferences in the room and available activities, etc). The hotel is very good and the hotel is very good. There are several restaurants available and the quality of the food is good. The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a good hotel. The only issue is that because it is not a ”all inclusive” hotel you have to pay for food/drinks; the cost is the same is MUY high, I have hosted 2 hotels in the same chain (San Miguel de Allende and London) and do not follow the same price line. (For example: a toast of tuna for almost $800, a pasta with almost $2000). so it must be taken into account in advance. The hotel is very good for rest and if you know who to do activities, you can make a lot of options during your stay.

I spent an afternoon visiting the spa. I had an incredible 60-minute “Intuitive Massage” by a massage therapist named Lionel. It was a combination of rolling strokes, firm pressure, hot stone and stretching. I felt great afterward. I also relaxed in the sauna (there’s also a steam room) and used the facilities to shower and change afterward. Note that you have to walk outside for services and treatments in this open-air style set up. Perhaps on a very hot day some people may not find this as relaxing as a fully indoor spa.

Reviews From Real Travelers
I don’t normally write reviews but I just needed to put my experience out there. I wish someone had been honest about the little things in their reviews. First I’d like to say that I don’t think my issues with our stay reflect the staff so much as the property. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly and wants to make your stay as nice as possible. But I wouldn’t say they stand out as a whole compared to other properties/resorts staff. The property visually is stunning and it’s like it’s own little village with little alleys and pathways. It’s built into the mountain and they utilized the natural surroundings and rock structures in a way we don’t see much in the states. The lighting and other details like the heart trees are beautiful. But beauty doesn’t lead to functionality. Our room was absolutely gorgeous but not easy to move around in. The open air concept in the bathroom is beautiful but I just don’t enjoy taking open air showers. Most properties have a big airy bathroom but the shower has a glass surround that you can choose whether you want some cool air with your shower or not. Ok fine, not a deal breaker. Let’s move on. The bathroom door(s) is floor to ceiling barn door style double door. They bolts slide from one side and to shut the door you have to slide the outside panel past the sink, countertop, which makes it awkward if you just need to pop out to get some thing. Again, not a dealbreaker. Moving on. The view from our room was very unique with a dead palm tree right in the middle. It was still a gorgeous view but we’re at the Waldorf Astoria right??? After staying at a different location for four nights prior to our three day stay at WA, I felt great and well rested. Then we came over to the Waldorf…. Between the mosquitos in our room biting me and the mattress, I did not sleep well. The sitting area in our room made the space super cramped and it was difficult to move around. And the only place to lounge in the room is on the bed. Outside by the plunge pool there is no lounger either which I found disappointing. So the only place we can lounge is the shared pool areas and a few spots on the beach. So the biggest issue I had with our room is how “thin” the walls sound. The people above us kept dragging chairs around and it sounded like they were doing that in our room. People walking by outside when our doors were all shut sounded like they were in our room. Our room was along the route to el Farallon so we heard everyone and their loud conversations going to and from the restaurant. All those things together made it a deal breaker for me. The rest of my issues are just added in for extra flavor and some weren’t exactly the WA’s fault. We ended up being seated next to a family with a crying baby for way too many meals, trying to eat outside in the daytime meant covering your food between bites bc the flies were so bad, and don’t think you’ll get to use the one hot tub they have. It’s TINY. And it’s located in the f

This was our second time visiting this amazing resort, and it continues to impress. They take care of every detail, and make for an excellent stay. I love the extra touches like margaritas upon arrival, included water and beverages stocked in the room, mini-popsicles handed out at the pool, wrapping up the complimentary bottle of tequila to take home, cookies at departure, and free chilled bottled water at the pool/beach. The text message service is fantastic. They are prompt to reply to any questions or concerns. Having this service is super helpful as a guest. Every team member you encounter provides friendly service with a smile. You can tell the resort is super well managed and each team member cares about providing a top notch experience for guests. Private plunge pools are great. I love the bathrooms in the rooms. Treatment of Hilton Diamonds is also really good. Food is very expensive, but everything we had was tasty. The dining experience at El Farallon should not be missed. One of the coolest dining experiences anywhere. Hector is a really good server. We also appreciate the extended breakfast hours in the morning. It’s nice to be able to still get breakfast at 10:45 or 11. The buffet is always well stocked, regardless of time of morning, which is another example of getting the little details right. Only thing I could really mention that is negative is the noise that carries from room to room. It’s not horrible, but when someone moves something above you, it’s very loud. So if this happens when you’re sleeping, it makes you think someone is in your room. I realize this is hard to control after the completion of the hotel build. Maybe putting a rug under chairs or whatever else is typically moved by housekeeping and guests? Thank you Waldorf team for another excellent stay!

Reviews From Real Travelers
This was our 3rd visit to Le Blanc Cabo and it was overall a great week 9/24 - 10/1. We had a few hiccups which will be listed below, but overall this resort is stellar and it would be very difficult to leave disappointed. The service, cleanliness, amenities, and food & beverage offerings were all very good. We traveled with member friends who were staying in the residence, however we booked a regular room and were assigned to 1127. This was a high floor room, down the hall from elevators so the only noise we noticed in the room was road noise, which is already mentioned by other guests on previous reviews. It was not as noticeable if you kept your AC fan unit blowing. A few changes we noted from our last visit in 2020: --Price – It has jumped up to pre-covid price PLUS some! LOL we had a stellar BOGO deal back in 2020 due to covid, so it was a hit on the funds to pay normal pricing again. But the property and experience is still amazing and worth it! --They have switched to Pepsi products – a big mistake in our opinion. We had to make special requests for coke and it took a couple days, but once they had them stocked we were good to go. --There is now a diamond area in front of cabanas 1-8 for the regular lounge chairs (not just bali beds) which is a nice addition. The workers had to have a few tough conversations with guests who didn’t quite notice the sign near the walkway leading to the area, but it was always handled tactfully and most guests were quite understanding. --New breakfast option at the Mezze restaurant available 1 or 2 days of the week, worth trying at least once if anything for the baklava croissant! French toast was interesting but wouldn’t try again. --infrastructure issues in the Baja Calif. Sur state– This hasn’t been an issue in the area on prior 3 trips to the region but there was a major power grid issue with transformers affecting multiple towns and the resort was on backup generator for nearly 48 hours (wed afternoon to early hours Friday morning). When the backup generator was on, this meant no AC. Our room got up to 77 (others were as high as 82) and the floors were a slippery nightmare/hospital visit waiting to happen. The hotel was still operational, all lights, meals, activities for the most part went on. However, we did get stuck in the elevator at one point either due to them powering up and down trying to resolve the issue, or general power blips when trying to get back on the grid. IMPROVEMENTS: International restaurant – don’t put so much salt on the steak. I heard the fish was also super salty Switch back to coke products for the minibar The host stand process to check in for a buffet breakfast seems a bit lengthy – perhaps it isn’t critical that the waiter have the last name of the guests and instead simply the room number to speed up time wasted on filling out those little papers. Communication – if there is a change in venue for special events, put up signs or have the butlers de

The hotel facilities are in excellent condition. This is a very modern hotel with modern amenities. if I were to rate the facility alone it would be five stars. The areas that would need improvement would be to better inform the staff regarding hotel procedures. We were given the runaround when we tried to book a spa appointment. We tried to first book it with the butler Who directed us down to the spa. When we arrived at the spa we were told to book it a guest services. at guest services they told us that the butler could book it. They then told us that they would call the person down for the spa for us. The person then took us back to the spa. This was not a good way to begin a vacation. The butlers need to be given better training and more authority to do things like at other resorts. It really appeared that they were not well trained and not given any authority. The food here for the most part was good but not great. However there were several dishes that were great and there were several misses. The people that worked around the pool including the ones that got your towels and the weight staff were very good. They always seem to have nightly entertainment that was live. The musical talent that they brought in was very nice. The communication was not very good regarding what events. There were these billboards that were electronic around the resort, but they did not seem to have very updated information. For example if they had a turtle release that they never let anyone know about. We had requested a single king bed, but when we appeared they gave us two full beds indicating that the king bed is not guaranteed with our room rate that was booked through Costco. The spas Hydro therapy area was very nice. However the massage that I received was just OK. I thought that the services were very expensive. The beach is not really for walking or swimming. The sand was rather rocky and hurt your feet. It was very nice that they kept all the restaurants open for dinner. They also had several large buffet type events with entertainment.
